I associate eva very strongly with the swallows. delicate but fragile birds. I think of them as freedom? very nimble little ones. the thing is, they make their homes under people's roofs. for other reasons, but it's like... they're reaching for warmth I love her.

TRIUMVIRATE / ТРИУМВИРАТ

I've made a Pathologic 2 playlist dedicated to the intersections and the symmetries in the paths of the three healers. Every three songs are tied to a single in-game concept, entity or event: the first one always views it from the Bachelor's POV, the second - from the Haruspex', the third - from the Changeling's. Fair warning: it's a WIP and all the songs are in Russian. More details under the cut!

I couldn't find a playlist that used the Winter Soldier's activation code so I simply made one. Working in these restraints was actually very fun and I have to say, I'm incredibly proud of this one. I feel like all the songs I picked for his words work both musically and lyrically and the order of the other ones was picked very deliberately as well. Normally this kind of rant goes in the tags but I wanted to include it here to ask that if you ever listen to a playlist of mine from start to finish, make it this one :D

your Spirits of Light AU immediately brought to my mind a song by Ukrainian duo Flёur called Invincible Army (Непобедимая армия) the song is in Russian but I tried to find a good translation to English to illustrate my point)

I can send a link to both full translation and the song itself if you want! just a lil inspiration bc I can definitely imagine by the end of this AU Kirby taking on Dharkon and Galeem with a ghostly legion of spirits backing him up

This might be an odd question, but you always choose such terrific songs for your animatics ("Черный Человек" will probably be my most-played song this year. lmao.) so I have to ask if you have any other songs that remind you of Patho. Your taste is immaculate

Oh, that's a good question, but a very difficult one. The answer may not be as satisfying to you, but I always can recommend music outside of patho that may suit your tastes x) To begin with, ohhh yes, I love terrific songs. But “Черный человек” is a heartbreaking song, I rarely listen to those. It’s just hard to bear, I need to get out of my anxious state sometimes (However, “Помни имя своё” is wonderful! Be sure to listen to it, ESPECIALLY “Кто я” its daniil and “Гори, звезда моя, не падай”). “Nina” is already a more frequent example, but more like the one in “Фейерверк”. Then, I have planned, like… 7 pathologic animations (and not counting those that have already been made, and those that I can still come up with). I probably would have already made them, but I was busy with animation on another project, which killed my aspirations a little. Now I’m trying to slowly speed up, maybe I’ll post one before the end of the month, but for now I don’t want to show the music from there for the sake of intrigue… This means that I won’t be able to talk about individual songs, but I’ll try. But yes, I took songs from these groups for what I do now ^^ Aaand should warn you that I rarely listen to foreign music. Unintentionally, of course. I have been in love with russian-language indie in any format for many years, so I mostly touch it. As for songs and groups: "Flëur"! One of my favorite bands. Has a pleasant vibe,,, So mystical, miraculous, but also existential themes: death, life, awareness of yourself and your loved ones. There is something to analyze there. Take all their songs. I can even write a separate essay about which song is which characters, it’s possible :З There are also separate groups “Электрофорез” (FOR UTOPIANS) and “Shortparis”, but not all their songs remind me of the game. They need to give time. ohh sure! so I loved (and still love tbh) Flёur (which is actually an ukrainian duo but their songs are in russian), Король и Шут (that's a punk band), Мельница (folk), Наутилус Помпилиус (just classic russian rock), Порнофильмы (kinda resembling MCR but more punk I think, very political themes). those are a few I can remember rn, but there's definitely more I'm forgetting. anyways let me know how you like these!!
