in part i believe the text in the game frequently referring to the manager having a cane was intent on it being along the lines of the 'aesthetic' versions used in fashion in the time period, not actually considering it as a needed accessability tool, and thats why they elected not to include it when they gave him art in Mask
but.
i think thats stupid. and i think even with the magic stuff theres no reason not to assume its an actually needed accessability device. and i will continue drawing him with it under that notion.

Well team, it's that time of year again almost!
My guys are still undergoing some edits to their references, but who isn't still under construction at this point? Hoping to get a hit in on everyone I feasibly can in the Fallen London fandom - I can't guarantee I'll get to you but. But please in some way make me aware of your existence, I want to attack everyone sosososo bad-

oc looks and faceclaim:
I pictured him looking like a mix of Anton Walbrook and Ronald Colman. Walbrook in particular played very striking villain roles and his expressions are so good to use as art reference (see Gaslight and The Red Shoes). Both actors played iconic roles with late 1800s or early 1900s characters (see Colman in The Prisoner of Zenda and Walbrook in Maskerade).
I love old timey comics and classic cinema, and this specific 20s/30s look fit the shady Mahogany Hall/Midnighter vibe that I was going for when I started playing.
