THANKS GOOGLE PHOTOS... so I use Google photo assistant quite regularly now and I'm laying here in bed on my phone and the assistant pops up with a new creation so I check it out and its a then and now photo that it made for me. The first is right before I chose to go sober from alcohol and I was more than likely drunk. the latter was taken today post shower. Im pretty surprised by the difference to be honest I cant believe the change not drinking had on my body and life wow it only took me nine years to pull my head out of my ass and realize I needed to quit drinking you'd think after everything I've put myself through I would have quit a long time ago well addiction is a cruel and disgusting bitch and she had her fangs in me like a fucking vampire... just slowly sucking the life out of me one drink at a time... sobriety isn't easy I've had my ins and outs with it and I am finally to a point to where I feel like I am the one at the reins with this I know what I want and I know if I want it that I cant ever go back to who I was... So I take it one day at a time that's all we really can do... So what ever you're struggling with don't let it win I know it's easier said than done but hey I'm living it!
