They only kept us in the cage for a couple of days—just long enough to give us some tests and find out whether we had any diseases, or whether we were too crazy to be in prison and needed to be sent someplace else.  But like the guy in the next cage said, “Nobody ever fails the tests.”  All the other guys laughed at that.  I guess it sounded good to them.  I’d spent my life passing tests; they’d spent their lives failing them.  But we were all in the same place now.

So after the two days they spent “classifying” us, they stuffed a bunch of us into a van and took us to the Northeastern State Penitentiary, which turned out to be not very far from where I lived.  Used to live.  I remembered Cody saying something about “this facility will make it easy for you to get visitors.”  Like I wanted somebody to come and see me with my bald head and my clown suit. 

When I traveled, I used to get nervous about whether there were vacancies in the hotels where I wanted to stay.  Before that, I got scared about whether I could afford to pay the rent in the places where I wanted to live.  Now I’d been sent to live in the biggest hotel in the most expensive part of the state, with nothing but a prison uniform on my back.  But no problem.  They issued me a mattress and sent me straight to Cellblock 5, where my room was waiting.  They’d kept the lights on for me.  And there was no charge for the first 15,000 nights.

It took me a while to realize that those white things behind the bars of the cages were other guests, just like me.

when i drove from San Francisco to essentially Vancouver on my way to Alaska, it was literally like every other road trip except i had to call all the shots. which was stressful af since this wasnt a For Fun trip so i asked for a buddy on my way back down

it is,,, mmmmm,,, well part of it is that i'm going to be flying instead of driving! since it's a 30hr drive :') which is Fine and Okay except i have to go through 2 of the busiest US airports by myself with next-to-no experience :'))) i may or may not be very nervous about that lmao

but other than that it's also gonna be a longer trip! im going for about a week (probably, i know i'll be leaving saturday but idk what day i want to return home yet) whereas my trip to texas with my sister was 3 days, as was my trip with my other sister when we went to california! (<- that was also my only airport/plane experience thus far) so im gonna have more time there to actually Do Things as opposed to just... Day 1. Arriving, Day 2. Doing the Single Thing, and then Day 3. Leaving

that said though, a travel buddy actually sounds like a very good thing for me to bring!! ive done similar things on big family road trips where we would stop to remember to take photos, though those were more of Us than anything else, but i think it would be a nice way to remember to actually TAKE photos!! as well as helping me actually stay calm enough to figure things out :)

Hey can you help me with someone? The discussion between Isabella and Peter in the last arc takes place the 12 or the 13 november 2047? I searched a timeline of the events but i didn't found it. Or it happens the 13 at early morning?

Their conversation in the cell takes place on January 17, 2046.

The other conversations we see them have are sometime before the evening of November 13, 2047, since it's still light out when the older kids reunite with Phil and Sherry and before Isabella dies.

"[Emma's group] will arrive probably by [the night of November 13th or 14th]."

They're in Grace Field headquarters by the time day breaks (chapter 166), and shortly before that, Isabella's speaking with the sisters about rebelling (chapter 170).

It's hard to be completely sure with the lighting when the Grace Field farm boss shows up in chapter 176 since it could just be for the dramatic flair, but it looks like it's around sunset, and the chapter 177 bonus page and beginning of chapter 178 show it's nighttime when Mujika and Sonju arrive at Grace Field by bus.
