Sort of a what if scenario if Shermie and Stan (as Ford) did meet up after Stan’s fake death funeral— could consider canon to this version oop. Maybe Stan kept this to himself or forgot. This is also based on how Stan somehow managed to keep himself together as he took Ford’s name, especially lying to his family.

With my version of Shermie, he couldn’t attend the funeral, but he does visit Stan’s grave. How couldn’t he and Stan (even as Ford) get along for Shermie’s family to contact Stan if he still didn’t love his baby brothers? Despite how Stan is a criminal! Tho he probably took time to warm up after being bitter with Ford; a tad complicated dynamic there.

Sorry this took a bit, tumblr just straight up deleted half of what I had written and I had to have a bit of a cry before I got back into it. But! Thank you so much for the request, I hope you stuck around this long to see it through! I did have fun writing it, these two are so cute and stanley deserves all the care and love in the world! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it!

"Okay now, Stanley, it's nap time. Go and pick out what book you want me to read to you since we finished the last one. Go on." Ford ushered his brother, who had been little for a better part of the day, towards their little book nook, it's just a small shelf Ford had put up with some books aimed towards young children, Stanley added some fairy lights to make it more fun. Ford did have to admit the lights were a nice touch, making it seem cozy and warm. They just finished reading Charlotte's Web last week, and Lee loved it for all that he cried during it. Ford was worried at first, thinking the book was too much, but once his brother was feeling bigger, he explained how crying did make him feel better, getting all those "icky feelings" out in a way that didn't involve hitting things. He still doesn't quite believe him, but he'll acquiesce for now.

Ford waits patiently, Lee wants to pick his books alone, the tone of the book deciding how he felt, how young he felt, in that moment. It's a good indicator, though he would love to help Lee pick put a book sometimes when he's feeling small, he can't help it, Lee always looks so cute when he's concentrating and trying to make a decision. If he was allowed, Ford would take a million photos of that face, alas, his Little brother is camera shy. A tugging at his sleeve pulls Ford's attention away from his thoughts, Lee holds a book out to Ford, looking down and his feet his face red. Ford commits that face to memory to draw later, he looks so cute. He wants to pinch his cheeks and kiss them. Moses, he's turning into Ma'. Ignoring those thoughts, Ford grabs the book, another small chapter book, and reads the title.

"Oh, Lee. Are you feeling smaller right now, hmm?" Ford asks with a smile, holding the first Winnie the Pooh book in his hands. It's an old one, Stanley picked it out from a thrift store in town, the worn cover reminding him of that nice old woman, the one who made him Poindexter and his quilt. Ford wonders if she may possibly be alive somewhere.

His Lee shyly nods, rocking slightly on his feet and tangling his fingers at the ends of his hair-the mullet had been cut and evened out-the actions tugging at Ford's heart strings. His brother was so cute. He has to draw this when Stanley’s napping. "Well that's okay, Lee. You know I don't mind if you feel smaller today. Do you want to nap on the bed or do you want to make a bed in the living room?" Ford would prefer Stanley wanting to nap in bed, but if his twin really wants to, he'll drag every blanket in the house down stairs and make him a nest.

"Mmm..." Stanley rocks, finger going up to tap at his lips, Ford lets it as long as his brother doesn't start biting at it. After a while, this is a very big decision for his brother to make, Stan points upstairs in the direction of their rooms, wanting to nap in his bed. Ford takes his hand, Stan can be unsteady when he's feeling small, and walks up stairs with him. He makes sure to go slowly, reminding his Lee to hold on to the stair rails so he doesn't fall. "...can do it..." is the only response Stanley gives, pouting all the while as he holds the railing with one hand and Ford's in the other. They slowly make their way to Stanley’s room, turning the lights on to reveal his bed, outfitted with his favorite teddy bear quilt and his beloved Poindexter. Ford still can't get over how...complicated he feels knowing his brother named his stuffed animal after him and how deeply he's cherished it for a decade now.

"Come on, Lee, up up in bed, I'll tuck you in." Ford pulls back the comforter and quilt, helping Stan up and settled in bed, one time Stanley slipped off the bed when he was feeling small and Ford's panic about his tears caused even more crying-it was a rough day. “Let’s get you all nice and tightly tucked in, Lee. Right, bud? As snug as a bug.” It took Ford a while to get used to this childish talk, he’s still embarrassed by it sometimes, but Stanley loves it. It’s starting to come more naturally to him as he keeps talking in this manner.

“...’n a rug?” Lee asks, chewing on his finger. Which Ford swiftly replaces with a rabbit pacifier he has laying on the bedside table; not Lee’s favorite but Ford thinks it’s rather cute. His brother’s hands are already torn up, and he’d hate for them to get worse before he finishes perfecting and experimenting with his healing salve. It’s main purpose is to reduce inflammation and scarification on the first two layers of the skin initially, with more permanent healing taking place after being used consecutively for several days-

“As snug as a bug in a rug, Lee.” Ford cuts himself off. This is no time to be thinking about his projects, not with his Little brother in front of him. Stan is what, who, his focus needs to be on. He leans down and presses a kiss onto his brother’s forehead as he starts to meticulously tuck in the covers.

“...’n Poindexter?”His brother asks around the pacifier. Stan holds his ragged teddy bear up, as if presenting the toy for inspection. But Ford knows what his brother is really asking for. He presses a loud and overdone kiss on the plush’s head, biting back a smile at the giggling bursting forth from his brother. He needs to keep his brother calm or else he’ll never nap. He’s just too cute though. 

“Yes, of course I’ll tuck your friend in with you, Lee. Nice and snug as a bug.” He tucks the toy in his brother’s arms, pulling the beloved quilt up, covering the two of them and tightly tucking the corners in. Ford smoothes back his brothers hair, it's grown out a bit from that rather horrendous mullet he had all those months ago.

“In a rug!” Lee giggled, kicking his feet beneath the blankets. Ford bit back a coo, his brother hearing that would be way too embarrassing for him. He sat next to his brother, bundled and tucked in tightly with his quilt, and opened the story book Lee picked out.

“Are you ready for your story? Or do you need to get more situated first, Lee?” Ford asked, looking over to his brother. His brother who was clutching his bear and staring up at him. Staring as if he had hung the moon. Moses, Ford cleared his throat, his heart is going to give out on him one of these days from how sweet his brother looks. “Story time it is, then.” Ford turned to the first page-

“Voices.” Ah, of course.

“Yes, Lee, I’ll do the voices, too.” He turns back to the first page of the book, face red at the thought of even attempting to do Winnie the Pooh’s voice. Stan really has him wrapped around his finger.

Ford wouldn’t have it any other way.

Feeding Mullet Stan Ethnic Food - Xiao long bao

So last January, I made a silly comic strip about feeding Mullet Stan haha and I wanted to make it into a series of short comic strips about feeding him ethnic food haha. I fed him Lumpia on my first comic strip, I just want him to melt at the taste of my food and culture uwu 💖 I’m like a half and half so I’m part of 2 cultures haha I thought it’d be fun to share both of my cultures to Stan! I asked my lil sis what I should feed him next and she chose this XD I wanted to draw this atleast once a month, so hehe this was supposed to be my February comic strip XD I forgot to draw last month cuz I was so busy 😭 So I made this one to make up for it!

What food should I feed Mullet Stan next? I’m coming up something to beat the summer heat in my country haha cuz it’s been insanely hot lately shdhdhdj I was debating myself if I should keep this plain or color it cuz I’m lazy af, I decided to color it and I really liked how it turned out even tho it was time consuming XD gonna try and keep it in this style on my next comic strips (they’re called comic strips right? I’m honestly not sure what’s the correct word or term for this lmao)

oh lord they make me ill (don't mind bill he's just being silly) ALSO 2 POSTS IN 1 DAY??? saturdays are awesome man BTW THE @ IN THE DRAWING IS MY TWITTER!!!! side note anyone who unironically calls twitter X dni /j -- LORE -- fiddleford and emma-may were arranged years ago and have lived together in a lavender marriage. they are on good terms. stan is bisexual and ford is gay. fiddleford went up to gravity falls where he and ford fell in love and happily worked on the portal together. however, ford's growing obsession with bill and violent tendencies whenever he was posessed put a heavy strain on their relationship. eventually, after the whole portal incident with fiddleford, they got into a huge fight and fell out. fiddleford is too ashamed to go back to his wife and son empty handed because he was the breadmaker and emma-may was probably struggling financially without him around. (they both work btw it's just that fidds makes more money) so he began to keep a journal /j traumatized from what he saw in the portal he invented the memory gun, which, while succeeding in erasing his memory of the event, also caused him to completely forget the fallout. he wandered back to ford's house thinking nothing happened and met stan, initially very confused as to why and how ford had magically sprouted a mullet and was dressed like a hobo. obviously they clear things up and stan explains what happened to ford. fiddleford, having forgot all the awful things ford did to him, is still totally head over heels and is devastated hearing that he's gone. over the course of a few months or so, stan falls in love with fiddleford, and is way more guilty about it than ford was (because stan has a way bigger appreciation for family and feels awful being a homewrecker and ALSO this is his first time falling in love with a man so that's a whole other story with his upbringing and morals being questioned blah blah blah). fiddleford on the other hand is grieving the loss of his bf HARD. and it's even worse having to see his face every day but none of the things that truly made him him. but when stan finally told fiddleford how he felt...? god, he couldn't tell you what came over him. fiddleford could have sworn it was just like the first time he and ford had kissed. he was left panting, gasping for air while the latter gently caressed his face with broad, calloused hands. he felt guilty, telling stan he felt the same when his heart was still so set on his twin, but... he'd never know, right? wrong. stan was a con man. of course he could sniff out lies like a dog. and the worst part? he couldn't even blame fiddleford. after all, his brother was the better twin. he was smarter, more successful, and loved more than he could imagine. he was just a dumb, good-for-nothing loser. that was fine. it was a truth he'd come to terms with a long, long time ago. but through it all, he couldn't stop the tears that pricked his eyes while they shared that kiss. and he swallowed the words that tried to bubble up as he pulled away. "i know who you pretend i am."

You know Monster Falls? I just came up with a different version of the AU with Mullet Stan (mwahaha)

So there’s this old Gacha Life series called “My Pets” (just search it up on YouTube and you should find it). Anyways, I was rewatching the series and got struck with another one of my brilliant ideas.

The year is 1982, and Stan Pines has been kidnapped by Rico and his goons. Luckily, he manages to break free of his chains and sneak through the vents before anyone can notice he’s gone. As he’s crawling through the vents, he passes a room filled with these weird animals. That catches his eye. These animals are actually humanoid creatures that Stan had only seen in the old fairytale books at the New Jersey library. But that’s not what keeps him stuck there, hovering over the room. These creatures look like little kids. They’re so small, so fragile, and they all look beat up. Suddenly, the vent grid collapses underneath Stan and he falls into the room. All the kids freak out and the deer-hybrid runs in front of everyone. It screams something. Oh, great. The kids speak Spanish. Stan heard rumbling from outside and knew he only had at least 2 minutes to escape before the goons catch him and he’s back to square one. So he grabs a sheet of paper and a pencil on the floor and draws out an escape plan. If these kids have been here for a while, they know all the ins and outs of this place. The plan is: Stan lets the kids free and in return, they help Stan get out of here. They all seem to understand. Everyone goes ahead with the plan and they’re almost caught but manage to escape. Stan is glad to be free and turns around, expecting the creatures to just run off into the wild, when something tugs at his sleeve. He looks down and sees a little girl whose some fusion of a unicorn and a mermaid. The kids are speaking Spanish again. Stan tries to leave but the girl draws something in the soft mud. An picture of all the kids…staying with Stan. They want to stay with him? Oh no no, he can barely take care of himself. He can’t take care of 8 mystical creatures on his own.

Before he knows it, he’s spreading his jacket out in the backseat of the El Diablo to make a makeshift bed for half of the kids. The other half will have to sleep in the trunk, which he already cushioned with all his junk. “Gracias, senor.” The deer says. He tussles the kid’s hair and puts him to rest. Everyone sleeps peacefully for the first time in their lives while Stan stands outside the El Diablo to lookout for any threats. He takes a moment to think about the future. If these kids will be here for the long run, he’ll have to teach them English and valuable life lessons. Oh god…he’s such a screwup.

the teasers for future eps were super neat! plus bill's page saying that he likes mabel's chaos and silly straws and also mentioning stopping time which he ended up doing for weirdmageddon

these two sections being teasers about ford is fun too (the six fingered hand belonging to someone who looks a lot like stan indeed)

i'm fond of these two bits as well, the first being a reference to the first stanco product but also showing how stan now knows how to take advantage of its flaws, and his drawing having a mullet and his signature being $P which i find so cute

the future dipper section seems like a reference to the original s2 opening concept of an apparent future dipper traveling back in time claiming that mabel had died (honestly super curious about the crew's ideas for that)

i'm pretty curious about how much of the rest of the show was finished when the book was being written, with the gideon running for mayor concept being pretty old i think, the general "dipper wanting to take on an apprenticeship cos he wants to grow up fast" being planned for a while (altho the first concept was the agents making the offer and not ford) and the apocalypse always being the show's intended end

Stanuary 2025 Week One: Mindscape

"Guess I was good for something, after all." -Stan Pines

Fanart, woot woot! Not a medium I typically work with, but my sibling gave me some cool brush markers and I wanted to try them out. I'm pretty pleased with the result! This is my first time drawing Stanley so I was a bit worried, but I like how the fez and hair turned out.

At first I thought about writing something with Ford exploring Stan's mindscape, either post-wipe or in an AU pre-wipe, and discovering some of the things he got into in his mullet days, but just couldn't make it work without it being a lot longer and more involved than I was wanting. Might revisit the idea someday, but we'll see.

I'm focusing on the main weekly prompts, but I think this also qualifies for the 'elements,' 'success,' and 'angst' spots on the additional prompt bingo table. Elements for the fire, success because Stan feels he accomplished something good and worthy by defeating Bill, and angst because, well, he is in the process of being erased as his mind is engulfed in flames.

god i would just have a hard time doing both. does that make sense? like, i feel like i could work with one trope at a time here. yes, they do tend to go hand-in-hand, esp. in more recent bits of media about the creatures, but fsr i can only hold one concept in my head at a time.

so in that vein i'm more of a werewolf Stan x normie Fidds thing, or a vampire Fidds x normie Stan thing.

Fidds goes "i'm sorry i'm just really fuckin' sorry" and clamps down on his neck and at first it's oh my god he doesn't even know how to give a hickey and then it's holy fuck ow. wait. holy fuck OH. why am i into this.

ok let's talk werewolves. you guys KNOW i cannot pass up a good chase scene (but the chasing is foreplay). biiiiig fan of the idea that even outside of a full moon, Stan is prowlin. if you run and it looks like you're running from him he will chase you down unless he tries really hard to stop himself. & besides maybe like the first couple times, he is no longer apologetic when he accidentally slams Fidds into the wall a little harder than he meant to because the guy fucking knows what he's doing ok. you play with a bear, you're gonna get shit in the woods. etc etc. prey drive go brrr, is essentially what i'm trying to say here.

y'know what else go brr? praise kink. Stan can be in the foulest mood in his gd life but if you tell him he's doing a good job or thank him for something or call him "stud" he will actually start drooling. cause that's a new thing. also gimme all the non-word vocal tics. gimme a widdle whimper. gimme a yip. gimme growling. oh my god please give me growling.

tl;dr: Fidds would make the *best* awkward vampire and Stan would be even more a menace than he usually is. :)
