Just had the idea of doing a Roxy askblog that's based on it being a secret blog she's not allowed to have and every so often if someone asks her something she just says stuff like "To the Fazspy reading this, I'm not the real Roxy." to try and throw the staff off her trail lmao

Will probably never make a blog like that, but it could be kinda funny. Maybe I bring the idea of an 'ask Roxy anything' game back where I draw the answers for it instead so it's not a whole ass blog dedicated to Roxy being a sneaky lil shit on the internet

#there's several reasons I probably won't do it but it's a fun spin on stuff #roxy exploring the closed off parts of the plex in first person lmao #taking pictures like 'look see? its right there!' and she's pointing at literally nothing because the camera doesn't see what her eyes see #could be funny!#but doing things is... Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

oh definitely. the hardest part of art is starting- and being comfortable making something that’s not perfect. i find drawing something *intentionally* bad to start or like, with stick figures and very basic shapes, is a good way to get over that first hurdle. and there’s also tutorials online for pretty much anything if you don’t even know where to begin!

you never know what you can do if you never try though, and you also can’t improve if you never do- i avoided backgrounds for years & i’ve been slowly getting myself used to them and have been really liking what i’ve done! (not showing the piece i have in mind yet cause it’s for a zine that’s not come out yet hehe)

#that mental hurdle is the hardest one #+ as a person with ADHD i’ve often had an idea i really wanted to do then put it off for this reason and just. kept forgetting to do it.#without having a deadline or anything my brain is just like ‘oh so this gets done never 👍 got it’#highly recommend just going ‘okay. i will do One Single Thing.’#like okay. well i don’t want to draw this yet; but i can make a new file and name it #cause that often leads to my brain going ‘well that was so easy i guess i could do another thing’#then ‘well i won’t draw the full thing but here’s like. a single circle where i want something to be’#then maybe i’ll go ‘well i can add a few more guidelines just so i remember what i’m envisioning’#and then eventually i’ve gotten so far that i just. ended up doing it. or making a lot of progress #not always! sometimes it really is just the first few things! but it makes it easier the next time i make myself do ‘just one thing’#breaking tasks down like that always makes it much less daunting #crazwaz posted #audience participation

hi, if you don't mind me asking (since i saw you reblog a post about the orv webtoon): how far into the novel is the webtoon, approximately, now that it's starting the dark palace (?) arc? is there still a long way to go, would you say? sincerely, a huge webtoon orv fan who is trying to muster up the strength to pick up the novel

Hi, anon!! I'm so excited you asked this, because I myself picked up the webnovel right around the dark castle arc! So, um... yeah, chapter 172 of the webtoon is chapter 151 and a good portion of chapter 152 of the webnovel, and there are 551 chapters of the webnovel total. (To be even more precise, with the formatting I have on my phone, chapter 172 covers up to 2290 pages out of 8807 pages-- just over a quarter of the way through the story both ways.) There is, uh, QUITE a ways to go

That said!!!! I literally cannot recommend the webnovel enough, and this is from someone who started with the webtoon as well and then transferred straight to the webnovel where it left off at the time! The webnovel is such a different experience, since there are so many small characterization details that the webtoon doesn't adapt, and I actually bitterly regret not starting the webnovel from the start (I'm in the process of backreading, and I find new things to scream about every day!). There's no rush at all to read the webnovel all at once when the webtoon will take so long to finish, but at the same time, the pacing is so addicting that you'll probably speed through it till you're caught up or even beyond regardless! In case you'd like it, here's some info on accessing the epub file :) Happy reading!!!!

#i would honestly highly recommend not only starting from the beginning for the completionist factor #but because it'll ease the adjustment of jumping from a graphic novel format to the webnovel's writing style!!#i remember being thrown off and confused for the constellation banquet (the first arc i read fully in the novel)#and starting from the top def would've changed that #not to mention that once again you'll pick up on a lot of context and characterization that's woefully omitted from the manhwa #and again anon! while the novel is undoubtedly a fuckin Commitment‚ it is SO so worth it. one of the best goddamn books i've ever read #so please don't be intimidated by length!! start from the top to use the opening as a litmus test for the writing style #and then you can skim or skip around from there if you want! just realized I never posted this on here but I met Cecily Strong like a week ago and yes I’m still screaming crying throwing up over it

#I saw her in Brooklyn Laundry off Broadway and first of all the play was excellent and I highly recommend #and second of all I got to quote the SNL terrezano’s sketch at her which was a major highlight of my experience #anyway I had a really nice interaction with her despite being SO starstruck #and she very graciously signed my search for signs playbill too which was really really great #ugh. the best!#cecily strong #brooklyn laundry
