#first Jesse and Lukas and now Jack

I'm a bit of a character outfit/costume nerd and I was wondering if you had anything to share about what went in to making the outfits for The New Order's season 2 outfits? I can tell that Lukas and Petra keep the more "hero" appearance because they are still active adventures, while Axel and Olivia have more casual clothes becuase their focus has shifted from being adventurers to being leaders of Redstonia and Boomtown respectively. (Also whoever decided that Axel should wear a flannel and a skull shirt was so right and deserves cookies.)

The goal for season 2’s costume design were to reflect two things:

1. How things had changed in the characters’ lives since the first season - Lukas is still an adventurer, but a new one focused on stories and exploration, hence his new (frankly, anime-inspired) outfit. Petra is still clinging to the past which is why her armor is still the same one from the portal arc, just endlessly repaired and cobbled back together. Axel and Olivia have traded adventuring for running their towns, so their clothes reflect that… and then of course Ivor is a ninja now. Naturally.

2. How the server/world on the whole had changed and evolved - Something we never got the chance to show is that Beacontown is a hub city connected to every other town by a complex subway and mail tube system. It’s even connected to worlds within the portal network thanks to complicated and well-organized use of the enchanted flint & steel + the atlas of the old builders. This means that people from all over the world(s) are coming together in Beacontown to make it a melting pot of all kinds of styles and appearances. Characters like Radar in his hoodie + tie combo, Jack’s urban pirate look, Stella’s power suit.. these are some of the looks meant to reflect the increasing diversity of Jesse’s world and move the art direction away from some of the semi-medieval/fantasy vibes that were still hanging around.

Wanted to talk abt some of my Jesse headcanons bc they r creatures to me (General hcs bc they have slightly different stuff depending on the Jesse)

All the Jesse's play different routes to me, with slightly different choices and experiences. But they're all a little aware that their actions are not their own, some more so than others. Green suspenders/red hair clip are the most in tune with that awareness, so they're a lil more messed up/unhinged than the rest. (Plus they've done multiple playthroughs to me, and while no one remembers the playthroughs they DO have an odd sense of deja-vu) and all the jesse's r he/they/she with no particular preference

Green suspenders Jesse (my fav and the one ill prolly talk abt the most lol) has a LOT of scars but hides them under his clothes. The only one he cant hide is the one across his nose, that he got from Aiden during sky city, but he breaks Aiden's nose in return so its all good :3 Other scars come from various random enemies/mobs, but most of them come from failed quicktime events or the witherstorm. ill prolly doodle it out sometime :)

Some of the Jesse's have tattoos! Navy/purple suspenders Jesse has a red witherstorm tattooed on their back, Pink suspenders has misc sleeves and a love for rhinestone/gem-like art, Yellow hair clip has black flowers on her shoulder/back, and Blue hair clip has white doves on her wrists (matching with Petra, who has black crows :3)

After the events of season two, Jesse becomes a bit of a shut in. They still hang out with friends and make public appearances for Beacon town, but the admin left them with a bad reputation, and many people are still mad at Jesse for things they never did. Jesse prefers to stay inside and work on paperwork, have Radar make the public appearances and all that. Lukas is the one who shows up to pull Jesse away and make them rest most of the time, with Jack and Nurm showing up as well as Ivor and Harper visiting every now and then to make Jesse rest.

Jesse doesn't forgive any of their enemies that easily. He gets along with Ivor slowly, building trust and finally *really* trusting him only in episode seven. They start to trust Lukas more in episode four. Aiden isn't forgiven easily, Jesse more-so puts up with him bc Aiden is trying to better himself on his own accord, and Olivia is giving him a chance to change (Aiden comes back to the homeworld and becomes Olivia's apprentice on accident and also they r in love) But its easier for Jesse to forgive Maya and Gill bc they were just loyal to a fault, and are trying to be better people after it all (Plus Jesse grows a soft spot for Maya when he sees the way Radar looks at her [they r also in love]). Jesse has mixed feelings for Cassie Rose, understanding the sentiment and wanting to go home, but despising her for murdering innocent people/trying to kill their friends. Cassie sends Jesse threats every now and then, Jesse almost wishes they could reach out and help Cassie somehow, but at the same time they wouldn't care if Cassie had died in that pit oh so long ago. Jesse used to have mixed feelings about Harper, but Harper risked everything and wasn't REALLY meaning for Pama to go beserk the way it did. Jesse forgives her easily, but is hesitant when she reveals Pama V2 lol. Hadrian and Mevia aren't forgiven. Simple as that lol Jesse hates them. Stella was a rival, but not really an enemy, more so just an annoyance. Jesse doesn't hate her, she does some bad things but comes thru in the end to help. Jesse would've taken her in as a second secretary had she not gone out to work first-hand and help salvage Champion City/help rebuild for the few survivors. He still appoints her as an ambassador and welcomes the survivors to beacontown while they rebuild. Romeo doesn't get forgiveness, most Jesse's will try and leave him to die but those that save him will make him work for redemption, borderline bullying Romeo to be better.

Making one big post about recent stuff!!

I recently saw the Minecraft movie trailer, and I thought it was a joke at first, it even said April, so I thought it was an April fools joke. Err, but I was wrong apparently, this is legit, Jack FUCKING Black is Steve from Minecraft y'all, this is a canon event.. But long story short, the Minecraft movie made me realize, oh yeah MCSM existed, and I never got the chance to watch a full playthrough from anyone because of the abundance of fandoms at the time. I have now just binge watched almost all of DanTDM's MCSM playthrough, and I'm getting back into the fandom!! My most favorites being: Lukas, Romeo, M!Jesse & Soren!!

I also now have a MCSM oc now!! He'll most likely be in my upcoming MCSM AU!!

His name is Frankie, and he lives in beacontown, they own a shop and sell flowers, dyes and things made from dyes!! They love the color pink, they talk A LOT, and loves cherry blossom biomes!!

summary || a love story about independence vs interdependence, and battling self-worth issues as the top student is framed for bullying his deaf classmate, and must find a way to overcome his flaws in order to prove that he is not a bad person. based off of the hc that jesse lost some of his hearing after the formidi-bombs explosion.

World

Beacon High School is a school filled with students of all different ability and culture. The students of Beacon High School are full of life and believe that everyone should be given equal opportunity, regardless of their backstory.

In this AU, characters from Minecraft: Story Mode take the roles of teachers and students attending this school. Romeo is the headmaster, Xara is the deputy head, Gordon/The Warden is the school secretary, and the Old Order of the Stone are teachers of the different subjects. The new Order of the Stone, the Blaze Rods, the Beacontown townsfolk will be taking the role of the students. The main cast are in Year 12/11th grade, making them 16-17 years old.

In this AU, female Jesse and male Jesse are twin siblings rather than gendered counterparts. Female Jesse is referred to as ‘Jessica’ while male Jesse keeps his name. Ivor and Harper serve as the twins’ father and step mother respectively. Additionally, Jack and Nurm serve as Petra’s adoptive fathers and Soren is a father figure to the Jesse twins, as the ex-husband of their father and one of their primary carers during their childhood.

The plot of this AU focusses on the undertones of the perfect child, Lukas, and how the maltreatment of a child detriments them in their later lives. In the beginning of their academic year these unlikely group of students are sardined together into Mr. Soren’s form group, and then Jesse becomes the target of the Ocelot’s bullying. Lukas’ reputation, despite being the only one who spited the idea of bullying Jesse and abstained, takes the hit for it, and Lukas resolves to regain the trust of Jesse, who had captured his attention. However, now people are standing in his way, and he must face all the worst things about himself for Jesse’s sake.

Jesse’s information

Aged 16. When Jesse was a child, he was involved in a freak accident which damaged his ears and is now medically recognised as deaf, meaning that he has little hearing ability. Jesse was left with some residual hearing after his accident, however this is not a lot and is severely muffled by white noise and tinnitus. It has to be a pretty loud sound in order for Jesse to interpret it, which is why Jesse uses hearing aids to amplify these sound waves to interpret them easier. As a statement yes these hearing aids are worn on his own volition, and in no way a refusal of his right to exist as a deaf person.

Jesse has the ability to speak, as he had learnt how to speak fluently prior to the accident. However, he often prefers non-verbal communication in sign language (most likely to be ASL considering MC:SM would probably be produced somewhere near the USA) as reading lips is only about 30% successful and with the amount of straining he has to do to hear often leaves him feeling fatigued. He feels he is only able to hold conversations with two people max, ergo he tends to hang out in small groups. When Jesse does speak, it is comprehensible and near perfect, though very soft and uncertain.

Jesse’s deafness is not exclusively limited to his hearing loss. There are other side effect that come with his deafness due to the injury in his middle and inner ear. Jesse is constantly seen tripping over, and this is for two reasons; the first reason being that the inner ear damage has caused problems with his balance, and the second is that having to focus so intently on the sounds around him interfered with his ability to walk around carefully. He is also more prone to headaches as a result of his chronic tinnitus, which makes getting rest significantly harder for him than for others.

Jesse reacts more violently to his other senses as a result of losing his sense of hearing. This is why Jesse is often more uncomfortable to scents, and responds to touch more than the average person might.

Jesse’s auditorial challenge posed him some troubles in his life, as it interfered with his way to communicate with a hearing world. Because of this, Jesse was frequently misinterpreted by his classmates and became a victim of ostracism and bullying. Despite this, Jesse has always kept a positive outlook on life, happy to be alive and accepting that his deafness is a part of who he is, and it’s other people that are the problem. Even if his immediate family does not agree with this way of thinking, and are very protective of him and how others treat him.

Jesse is a sweet and compassionate person with an easy going attitude. He is shown to be very forgiving even if it other people would have refused their apology, if they are expressing sincere regret towards their actions. He doesn’t feel that it is necessary for people to treat him differently to others because of his auditorial challenge since he is just as well off as everyone else- his grades are decent and he is able to fluently understand 3 languages (English, Spanish and ASL), so he is quick to dismiss any feelings of pity or concern towards him by projecting the more positive parts of his personality. 

Lukas’ information

Aged 16.

Lukas is the concept of a perfect child. He is polite, respectful and selfless, and is often relied on by students and teachers with his willing he is to help them in his own free time. Additionally, he is academically smart and athletic (notably strong considering he practices archery) which emphasises the positive traits about himself. He is very diplomatic and does not hold people to their old selves, believing that everyone deserves a chance to be happy.

Because of these high expectations placed upon him by other people, Lukas often does not think he is good enough. In his eyes, he is inadequate, and thus he often does not do good things for himself and busies himself with the wellbeing of others, making him very generous. Much unlike Jesse, he internalises and blames himself for the things that happen to himself, rationalising it saying ‘if I had done…instead’. Lukas does not hold grudges towards people, most notably his mother, who he loves quite dearly despite Petra’s family thinking she is cruel. His perfect façade seems to hide his deep insecurities, and it means he treats people politely even if they don’t deserve it.

Lukas was born into a wealthy family, and he really didn’t enjoy it. His father was frequently working and so his mother was the primary carer of him, and she had her twisted beliefs on life. Despite being supportive and nurturing his academic life, Lukas’ mother is manipulative and controlling, and Lukas often feels guilted into abiding by what she wants for him, micromanaging his life and being told that some harmless things he wants to do are way worse comparatively given who he is. This conditioning meant that Lukas had felt powerless and without a sense of self, following what his family wanted for him.

Throughout his life, Lukas has always been academically gifted. He had been moulded into a perfectionistic child, which is why his feelings of inadequacy hit so much harder. Lukas had began to push himself beyond his limits just because his mother was compelling him to, even if she had a pretence of worry towards his health. For a while he had been feeling completely isolated, even if he was the boy that everyone wished they could be.

Lukas didn’t want any of that. He didn’t care about being popular or desirable, he wanted to be a writer. But other plans had been put in place for his future.

Lukas had befriended the Ocelots after saving them from their bullies. He had been surprised when they had looked up to him like a leader— in the most sense, he wanted to be their equal and he wanted to be their friend. Although he did take on a lot of leader like qualities, teaching them alternatives to coping with their stress which are not harmful to themselves. Despite Lukas convincing his mother that the Ocelots were good people, she was still hesitant and suspicious of them, wanting rid of them but having no reason to remove them from Lukas’ life at that moment.

Okay so I FINALLY got around to playing season 2 of minceraft story mode and … Literally everyone who thought it was bad WHATTT?? like yea, there were plot issues and some really common tropes but it was good??? Like, I’m kinda crying at the ending good? (Although I do cry at a lot of stuff so…)

Maybe have some nostalgia since I played it as a kid, but I really think this game was worth playing (not at full price tho, jesus) but watching a play though on YouTube at least? DEF worth it.

Jesse was great as usual, some choices gave me some laughs, and his generally she was fun (mostly, some parts of the firsts chapters really pissed me off) I really enjoyed all most of the characters, def missed Lukas a lot of the characters who didn’t really show up in this season, but actually came to enjoy the new characters quite a lot. Radar was quite tropey in his characters, but I still found him fun, and Stella was pretty annoying interesting (Luna was fun at least) Jack uhh… Fine ig? Nurm was great, got some chuckles… Everyone else is kind of a spoiler, but absolutely love what they did with the main villain in the end! (Other than the superhero/shounen-esque battle, could’ve used more power of friendship.) I always have been a sucker for sympathetic villains, so I guess that kind of makes sense for me…

And yannow what, Petra actually came around for me at the end of season 2! At the beginning I thought she was just going through a similar arc to Aiden, but those final conversations with her were just so perfect, really finished her character well. (Still not sold on Jack tho, well at least I didn’t get him killed?)

And maybe it’s because I didn’t watch many teen dramas or school based shows as a kids, but I really REALLY enjoyed the kind of ‘moral of the story’ at the end, where it’s okay to say goodbyes, cause life moves on… going in my ‘good morals from good games folder’

I know that there probably won’t be any more official content since no one really plays it anymore (and everything else), but that ain’t gonna stop me hyperfixation over it for an unhealthy amount of time!

- Takes up mentoring Radar in F!Jesse's absence

- He writes to her and Petra often about how things are going in town

- The new Ocelots don't disband, but with so many members, Lukas starts running it like a guild.

- He builds a little guild hall in town for people to submit requests to and for members to take them. Probably helps take a load off of Radar's shoulders as the current Hero in Resident

- Either stays with Radar or Jack and Nurm during long stays, his house out of town still stands. He's home less often. Eventually he'll possibly make a little apartment either on top of or behind the guild hall. Maybe.

- Helps in managing Beacon Town

- Surprisingly takes leading the Ocelots and helping with Beacon Town pretty well, despite his independent nature.

- The Ocelots guild gains some notoriety outside of town, and they begin getting long distance requests via traders dropping them off at the Guild Hall. Possible adventure?

- He's not sure how to feel about Jesse's brother at first. It's kind of weird having a near carbon copy of one of your best friends with the exact same name.

- Observes the little man for quite a while. He slowly becomes more comfortable with him. Its like Jesse and Lukas got reversed from S1

- Allows him to live in his house on one of his couches. Dewey doesn't like him for QUITE a while.

- Enjoys having another parental force for Radar. Single parenting the hyperactive young adult could be a nightmare on his own some days.

- Having Jesse around allows him to write a bit more often.

- Totally diaries about the man and his eventual acceptance of him into his life.... and eventual feelings. Because you know it's gonna happen eventually. LMAO

JESSE DOS MINECRAFT

- Was living out in a little village far from Beacon Town on the world's edge before his sister called him to town.

- He's never been in Beacon Town before, and is slightly overwhelmed by it at first. He quickly learns to settle in however.

- Bro is covered in scars, some you'd wonder how he even got.

- A little more blunt and reckless than his sister, but to be fair, he hasn't really seen anything she has other than the Wither Storm.

- Speaking of, he's spooked by dreams of the Wither Storm. He only ever saw the beast when it was split in three.

- After the Wither Storm was defeated a second time, he attempted to return home. It was entirely destroyed. Not a single thing was left. So he set off to find somewhere else.

- A small town, practically just the size of a village, to the far east is where he finally settles down. He helps out with basically everything in an attempt to earn his keep.

- He's initially skeptical about returning to the resting grounds of the beast, but immediately forgets upon arriving (mostly due to being entirely overwhelmed by the two towns now residing there LMAO)

- He IS amazing by how they were able to bring life back to the entirely barren wasteland the monster left in it's path. Proud of his sister's great job assisting in building the place back up.

- A little put off by Radar's immense energy at first, but comes to enjoy the lil fella.

- Lukas... man. He's got no words. Insanely curious about the blonde.

- Enjoys the stroll from Lukas' house to Beacon Town. He'd probably go insane living in the town itself. He occasionally stays with him and Radar when needed.

- Starts stealing Lukas' bed at night after they've gotten comfortable with each other. Though, admittedly, he got comfortable quicker knowing this man was a friend of his sister.

Thank you so much for asking! I'll be covering the overall comic im making and the ideas i have in stored for it. ive been collecting ideas and things that others like for the past couple of years and putting it into this comic, but anyways! 

My MCSM epilogue AU is focused on the aftermath of season 2 and picking it up where it left off with my little twist as well with the fandoms likings of headcannons. In this series, Jesse is still being controlled by the gauntlet dispite it not being under romeos control nor on Jesses hand, the gauntlet has its own thoughts and is being controlled by the idea of adminizing Jesse. Throughout the series, youll be able to see him slowly become into one, there will be betrayal, friendship, and romance (not heavy based)

Using the Radar arc focuses on betrayal and friendship.

it consists of Jesse trying to figure out weither or not he has done the right decision for not convincing Petra to stay at Beacontown. Upset at himself, he beings infuriated, wanting to see Petra to at least "convince" to her. throughout the arc, Jesse slowly turns into an admin without knowing that he is (except for the way he acts). Jesse becomes weary of the people around him and isolated himself, radar being the only source of the outside. not trying to be removed as his intern, he would become angry at anyone who wont follow under Jesse. Jesse opens up to Radar more snd more, talking about Lukas which goes into the second arc

The gauntlet is the source of Jesses admin powers but why is that? The gauntlet never left Jesses side, it remains under his skin, slowly taking him over and making him into an Admin slowly.

Who Are You arc focuses on romance (not heavy based) and betrayal

Jesses true nature begins to arise and most catch. of course except for Radar, still loyal and not giving up. Since the isolation, Jesse gets tired and sends an invite to Lukas to help him convince Petra.

everybody knows that ellegaard and magnus are like mentor figures to olivia and axel but how about gabriel and petra? (in an au where gabriel doesn't get put on the bus after s1) petra likes adventuring and maybe in the space between s1 and s2 when everybody's busy in their respective towns she joins good old gabriel as wandering warriors exploring the world and fighting monsters. maybe you could slip some old man yaoi in there somehow

That's actually a good idea!

Maybe even after S2 she understands that she can't just keep her friends tied to her and instead of offering Jesse to go with her, she decides to go back to Gabriel and ask old man how did he managed to let his friends go so easy?

There's a heart-to-heart talk between two warriors where Gabriel tells her that he was always so devoted to Order he simply couldn't look through their bad actions and actually stop them, when it was too late.

He tells her how his friends and his friends are completely different persons and she shouldn't compare them to each other. Instead she should look through the situation and understand that her friends, even when they weren't too close to her, still stayed with her when she needed it, but if she wasnt' in right, they told her about it.

Explaining, how it hardto always keep in touch when there are so many worl for all of you, how this "hero lofe" destroyed their freindship not because they couldn't spend time with each other, but because they were to pleased with feeling of fame to ever look back at what they lefr there.

And unliket them, her friends still stayed true to themselfes, simple friends with simple life and dreams.

After that he tells her she can either go back and try to hold all of them where they don't want to be ore let the situation go and believe that they always will return. So she decides to let go. And since she has no one else around, she asks if she can join him in his adventures.

Through time they develop more of "father-daughter" relationship, Gabriel teaching her every little detial about fighting, waepons and world itself he knows, meanwhile she keep him so needed compane, and he finally feels not alone.

They go back to BeaconTown when it comes time for another foundation day! This time everybody gathered there: Jesse, Lukas, Ivor, Axel, Olivia, Ellegaard, Radar - everybody! And they kind of shockedto see Gabriel: no one saw him around since the whole WitherStorm thing. But Petra is kind of excited: she wants him to meet Jack!

As people wave back and forth and there's this little talk between main gang, meanwhile adults gathered around simply watching how kids spend time and Petra suddenly turns to Gabriel like: "Dad, bane of atthropods works only on spiders and silverfishes, right?" and he casually says "yeah" meanwhile everybody aroundare shocked.

Petra continious telling stories about their adventures, meanwhile Ivor takes Gabriel away for a little chit-chat. What was that? Why she called you dad? What is going on?

And Gabriel is actually not happy with that. First of all Ivor meaninglessly exposed Orders lie, created this stupid WitherStorm which left a scar on his arm, their friend was killed because of this thing and other friend only Notch knows were, if he's still alive, and what now? He wants to leave Gabriel all alone again by assuming something that is not even there?

He's not so gently asks Ivor to leave him the fuck alone finally and stop trying to destroy his life yet again.

After the event, Petra sees something is wrong, but doesn't want to push too much. They supposed to leave tommorow, so she decideds to do something else instead.. ask the person who dragged her fath- uhm- Gabriel away. Ivor.

She's not happy with what she heard. She's a freaking adult, she can take care of herself! Ivor can child Jesse around, not her! Ivor quickly explains that they both are idiots and got it all wrong, he was just worried for Gabriel because he's not the type of person to spend time with someone else.

"Well, if you actually would've putted your head out of your ass, you would know he enjoys the company and loves when close people are around him. Try to actually get to know him instead of going after this "he's a blant liar" thing."

And somethow it really effects him. Looking back, Ivor realizes they never ever even gave a chance to Gabriel to proper speak his thoughts. Their "group decisions" somehow never included his opinion.

It scares Ivor. He was claiming to be friends with swordsman, but never actually knew him? Real him?

So he decides to do what he do the best: enter Gabriel's life yet again, but his time he'll make things right. Warrior was always interesting to him anyways.

I love your champion Petra art so much so I have a fun question: How do you see Romeo convincing Petra (or Jack) to be his champion during their training? Because they were both VERY reluctant to go and I think Romeo would be smart enough to realize that “hmm a willing champion is a better champion so I need to convince them that this is a good thing.” I’m very curious to hear your thoughts. :] Would he offer them something, prey on insecurities, etc?

thank you for asking this... in my universe, petra is champion, so i will focus on her. but i will give my idea for what it was like for jack too.

for petra, romeo would prey on insecurities. petra was the first one to know romeo's name because he said "we're friends now, call me romeo". now when he brought her to the terminal space, he tried to talk with her. though she tried to attack him multiple times he kept trying to convince her... talking about how alike they are, how he had friends once who abandoned him for "their people" just like jesse was abandoning her for beacontown. he tried to make a point about how people in her life just leave her behind but him and petra can be friends forever, and he throws petra into one of her memories as a kid to relive it. petra tries to convince herself he's just messing with her and romeo offers to show her what her friends say about her when she's not around. romeo shows axel and olivia talking about how needy petra is, jesse telling lukas that they feel trapped with her, that theyre afraid to leave her because she's angry and aggressive. jesse telling jack that they'd be more than happy if she left town with him.

and none of this stuff is anything her friends have actually said- romeo again is just making shit up. but petra doesn't know this, she genuinely thinks because romeo is all powerful that he was able to see their conversations and that this is the truth, this is honestly how her friends see her. at this point shes broken over this but not enough to want to be his champion, so romeo is like how do you not get it, your friends dont want you nobody does but me, and he opens a battlefield and turns into jesse and starts talking a bunch of shit and fights her, she knows THIS is just romeo and not the real jesse but it still hurts to hear his words knowing the real jesse honestly thinks this way.

romeo stops the fight because he senses a disturbance in the sunshine institute, so he teleports over and petras by herself. and when he teleports her to the battlefield, shes crying. jesse immediately tries to run over to her to check if she's okay and she thinks he's romeo trying to jump her again so she gets scared and swings at him lol. so thats the background behind that picture. when she realizes its the real jesse, she feels terrible and tries to help him but gets zapped by the gauntlet.

now for jack... if it were him, i think romeo would go with threats. like, if it were jack as soon as romeo shows his face again he'll demand to know what he did with petra. and romeo will be like "oh i just sent her to my inescapable prison" and jack gets pissed off at this and starts going on about how hes not gonna be romeo's champion, how romeo is a monster and he'd rather just be killed than serve him, and romeo's like well okay if that's the attitude you're gonna have then i guess we'll have to try something else. and then shows jack petra and nurm in the sunshine institute, and he's like "if you refuse to become my champion, i will have them killed in front of you" and then jack is like "bullshit" and romeo snaps his fingers and the two of them are zapped a bit and jack is like WOAHHH OKAY OKAY ILL DO IT

now i really prefer the champion petra route because i think its sooo good for the narrative, and in the final battle when romeo tries to make jesse feel guilty about their friendship with petra getting rocky, ITS SO COOL. i love this game and i love making it more dramatic than it already is

The AU itself is a work in progress, as I created this story not too long ago

Basically: Ivor, Soren, and Harper found this odd dimension in a ravine. None of them had seen the portal for it so they decided to explore only to find out there was no exit. Once again, in this AU Ivor is Jesse's father (I love making AUs like this, cuz it's really dramatic when Jesse meets his evil dad 🥰🥰) Gabriel, Magnus, and Ellegaard were left with Jesse for a fraction of his life.

Like 17-20 years later, Jesse is an adult and most people he knew were gone by now since they went to go look for their three missing friends. Jesse is basically pretty normal and lives in a treehouse, like canonical Jesse. Except there was no Olivia or Axel or even Petra. He only had Reuben. One day, when taking a walk to calm down, he heard cries for help come from the ravine. he went to investigate and ended up finding the portal. He went through and was trapped in the same world all the experiments were in.

Through the course of the story, Jesse is chased around by many different experiments and creatures to turn him in for The Creator (better known as "him" by the experiments. He's seen as god since he was the one who experimented on everyone and is pretty well known and feared. He serves as our main antagonist.)

The only people who AREN'T trying to kill Jesse are

Olivia - because Jesse is really nice to her and compliments her a lot despite her being anxious a lot

Axel - because he thinks Jesse is pretty cool and has a cute lil pig

Lukas - who else is going to tidy Jesse up after hours of being chased? (He was the first person Jesse met, you can smell the love in the air)

Aiden - ..he doesn't really care- he's more concerned about himself cuz he thinks he's so cool and AGH

There's also a thing called Operating Day which is basically when the chase ends and The Creator experiments on newcomers like Jesse. Jesse has a week before The Creator intervenes and tries to take him.

The Creator is basically trying to find the "perfect specimen" and has decided Jesse is the best option. A fraction of this is determined by how long the target can evade the patients and The Creator, to which Jesse does for almost 2 weeks. (1 ½ weeks of the patients, ½ of a week of The Creator.)

but the reason I keep adding "diagnosis" on the character sheets is because every character has some sort of disorder. (Examples being Magnus + ADHD, Radar + OCD, and Milo + ODD) their designs are based off of their diagnosis as well. (Vos is a phobia and Cassie is an identity crisis cuz we ran out mentally and were like "okay why not this")

Characters like Nurm and Reginald are NOT experiments. They are little mobs that Sora created to keep specific patients calm. (Jack has Nurm, and Isa + Milo have Reginald) they're based off of stress toys and stuff

There will be a couple characters not present in this au like the YouTubers and EMILY.

Favourite dynamics? Ooh, you know I'm gonna ramble! I might end up talking about all my favourite ships and friendships!

First up, gotta talk about the friendship between Lukas and Radar, like oh my god. It's so cute and supportive. Like, nervous wreck and one who keeps him calm and rational? Yes, love it. Also, that scene in the background where he is teaching Radar how to fight is so adorable! Such a wholesome friendship, I'm dying.

Now, one of my favourite ships that I don't really see much of unfortunately, Admin Shipping (Fred x Romeo x Xara). Like, in the best circumstances, it is so cute! I kinda see it as Caregiver/Soft x Gremlin x Serious Girlboss. Though Xara and Romeo are bit mentally fucked up, especially with the backstories I give them which I have wrote an AO3 fic about, and the two bounce off each others moods, both positive and negative which can lead to arguments between them, Fred is always there to calm them down. I feel like Xara and Romeo are really bad with saying "I'm sorry", while on the other hand Fred apologises too much, Romeo and Xara found a different way to show apology: cuddling! When the two are in a bad mood, they don't really wanna be touched so cuddling each other after an argument is their way of saying "I'm sorry, we're good now." Ogh, I could talk about them all day but I need to move on to the next dynamic before I get too silly and write a whole essay on them.

Right, ok. Another friendship I like is Xara and Jesse. It might sound a bit weird but hear me out, think of it as like doing all the best interactions with her. Jesse helps her to trust again, after being betrayed by one of the people she loved and I love that. Especially with how they would take care of her. Xara would probably try and help Jesse and their friends when the spiders show up but Jesse would just give her the bed and tell her "Go to bed right now. You've done enough, ok?" I feel like this would catch her off guard because she's not used to people caring for her. Though it also would work vise versa, with Xara protecting Jesse from monsters throughout their time together. I could also see Jesse helping her rebuild the Oasis post season two!

Ooh, I also like the dynamic between Petra and Jack! In my head, it screams Father Daughter relationship! The way Petra looks up to Jack is so adorable, like just seeing hop around in excitement upon meeting him, ogh my heart! And the way Jack takes care of her too, alongside not wanting to disappoint her when he felt scared being in the place that killed his other friends.

God, I love the block characters!

MCSM S3 Fun Facts/Headcanons Part 2

Severely misjudged the amount of time it takes me to write. Another teaser should actually be out today.

Radar is half white-half spanish in my mind, so he knows a few Spanish words, and will sing to himself when he's nervous. His favorite song to sing is "O Sol E A Lua" (by Pequeno Cidadao), his mother used to sing it to him when he was a kid. Because of it, he's very familiar with the myth about the sun and moon and likes hearing regional versions of it from travelers. Radar never learned much Spanish because his mother, who was 100% Spanish, died when he was very young. His father, the whitest of white men, didn't know a lick of Spanish but tried to teach Radar at least what he knows from his mother. Spanish is also a rare language in Beacontown. The only memory of his mother that he has is her singing to him. Ivor did find Soren, in the first place he looked, actually. He had returned to the end. Now Ivor's just trying to convince him to go back. He sends Jesse letters regularly. Well, he sends the letters to the admins keep, and whoever picked them up first sends the letters to Jesse, since she was out traveling (for fem Jesse, he sends them to beacontown for male jesse). Because Lukas spends 99% of his time with his cats, creepers will run away from him since he smells like a cat. (I stole this from someone too, forgot who it was as well 😭) Bintaaaaaaa Jack picked up adventuring again after Jesse and Petra left (for fem Jesse), but doesn't go that far out anymore. He frequents the admins keep to ask Romeo if there was any new treasure nearby. He hasn't forgiven Romeo, but he's willing to be civil. With her people gone and "home" now in the above world, Xara cleaned up the rubble of her former city and rebuilt and fortified Fred's Keep. Most Fred's Keep citizens returned to the underground once Xara finished her work and the giant enderman was gone for good. Xara also made Romeo get rid of his death trap and the sunshine institute. Nurm and Lluna became friends after the thing with Xara's prison. She is one of the few animals he likes. Many of the champion city people moved to Beacontown after Romeo bombed their city. Some went off traveling. Romeo did NOT kill all the champion city people! This was actually supposed to be canon! There was supposed to be a shot of admin Jesse teleporting all the champion city people away after blowing up the city but their budget was too low.

Also Petra's feelings 100% understandable, because really.. Romeo you screwed up A LOT.

And I'm sitting here thinking how Jesse goes from "Ah, creator. Nice, nice." to "Ah, my wife. Nice, nice." Somehow it's funny to me.

Soren IS a precious ginger man! Though he's my Top2, Top1 is Gabriel (who would know, ahaha).

Now some questions for the AU because OMG it's sounds interesting:

1. Maybe I can't read properly but IS LUKAS ALIVE? The idea of him doing the first ever water bucket clutch is hilarious.

2. Does Jack even have an idea that Petra's dad killed his friends? Because it's totally a good place for some drama between them

3. Will Xara and Aiden reconnect? Because poor boy needs his momma back, look at him

4. Not a question, a statement that Petra needs new father figure. Like right now

I had a smallll hunch you'd say Gabriel ;) In my playthrough, he lost his memories, which made me love his stupid self more.

Okay okay so:

1. Jesse had like .. no idea petra made him or was an admin until she revealed it to him at the cabin. That still played out! Just differently. She revealed it to him and he was like... petra... look, I'm upset but.. you're my best friend. I love you, and the you that you've shown me is the real one. What I think about you wont change. She cried lol!!!

2. I want you to know me and my fiance laughed for a whole 3 minutes about the damn water bucket clutch. Romeo thinks Lukas is dead and Petra doesnt know if he did survive or not, but spoiler!! Dont worry! Lukas lives! There is Ocelrod in this au (albeit only really implied). Lukas takes on the keep in his dad's place instead of Binta, and is gifted the compass. it is unknowingly the key that they searched for while bedrocked in. Also, time stopped passing when that happened! He's like permanently 21.

3. Jack has NO IDEA!!! The best part is that he has no idea until Petra tells her himself. It's a journey she has to risk and go on with her friendship with Jack! That has yet to be discussed and it is something you really helped me think about!!!

I feel bad for waiting so long to add to these scriptscratches again so I’m just going to infodump on all four topics right now: (Vos Possession AU additions)

Moving into the Emporium:

During episodes one & two: Vos isn’t in control of himself when he enters Beacontown for the first time after returning from the Sea Temple. Romeo is ecstatic to explore this new location through Vos’ eyes, but doesn’t talk to too many residents. Instead, knowing that the Colossus is on its way, ‘Vos’ opts to take a nap in the emporium since Jack offered him a room. Vos doesn’t argue with Romeo on this one because it’s been a decade since he’s had a good rest and promptly passes out on the floor before Jack can bring him a sleeping bag. (Also, although Vos can hear Romeo’s thoughts too, he has no idea the Colossus is approaching.) Romeo splits from Vos to focus all his energy into being the Colossus. Later after a part of the shop gets wrecked, Vos wakes up in a panic and realizes he is in control of himself. Rushing out of the emporium mid-fight, he sees Jesse, Petra, Lukas, and Jack fighting the Colossus. Romeo is has to re-possess him before he can make it to Jack so he doesn’t ruin anything.

Post- episode five: Vos lives in the attic of the emporium and he and Jack have friendship lanterns. They like to activate the lanterns at the randomest points at night to wake the other one up. (more on that below)

Romeo’s Reparations:

Unlike in game where Petra argues to leave Romeo in the Terminal Zone, she instead is the more sympathetic one. Jack in turn wants to leave him there, abandoning Romeo as Romeo once abandoned so many. He didn’t get to see the cabin or the journal that Jesse and Petra found; all he knows is Romeo’s crimes against the previous admins, the people of the Underneath, and especially his friends. Because of this, Petra has to convince Jack to give him a second chance when they all return to Beacontown. Vos has mixed feelings. He wants to forgive Romeo, but is pretty wary after everything he went through so he opts to avoid the ex-admin whenever possible. (He sometimes freezes up in panic when Romeo is around.)

Jack asks Romeo about what became of the Sea Temple, but Romeo assures him that with his admin powers removed, the temple would be dormant and the entities within/around would vanish. Jack doesn’t seem convinced so Romeo offers to go himself to check. His theory was correct. The temple is essentially dead save for one peculiar oddity…

When Romeo returns from the temple, he has a gift: two linked sea lanterns. They remain dim until one is touched and both light up. (Like how friendship lanterns work.) “How is that even possible?” “Not sure really… I found them in the rubble. I figured I’d bring one back in case you wanted it, but when I picked it up, the other one lit up too. My guess is they must still be linked from being a part of the puzzle door.” (Since the door would only open if mirrored, each block got enchanted with its mirrored block to recognize the other. Does this make sense? Idk.) Jack finds this sufficient to mostly forgive Romeo and gives him props for working to make amends. ^ This scene is also fun because Jack had the initial conversation with Romeo without Vos’ knowledge as not to make his friend anxious. So when Romeo knocks on the emporium doors to deliver the lanterns, Vos accidentally opens the door and just stares for a minute before asking Nurm to get Jack. Jack of course explains the whole thing and Vos ends up forgiving Romeo, even giving him a hug.

Romeo patches a few things up in Beacontown before heading to the Underneath to try and make amends with Xara. (The people of the Underneath now live on the surface, but Xara stayed behind.)

Character Interactions:

Vos is socially anxious after having no one but himself to talk to for a decade. (During the first trip to Beacontown, Romeo hides this very well with his eager demeanor. Vos is honestly somewhat relieved to not be the one conversating.) Jack is quick to notice this and does his best to help his friend meet the residents of Beacontown. The people of Bad Luck Alley would probably find Vos interesting since he was an old friend of Jack.

Ivor is the first resident Jack introduces Vos to. After the events of season two, Jack is eager to show Vos around town and jumps at the chance to have his friend meet his idol. (Especially since Ivor settles back down in Beacontown after being a ninja.) The two are quick friends and Ivor is happy there is another alchemist in town. He also gets to explain to Vos what the Witherstorm was so that’s fun. Can’t imagine how that conversation would go. Turns out the two actually have a lot in common. (Plus, they both look old enough to remember Nether reactor cores /j)

For some reason, I feel like Nell tends to notice new arrivals in Beacontown and helps to assure them that the place is a chill area. She probably confides in Vos that she felt overwhelmed when first moving to Beacontown too, and offers to show him around. “Don’t be a stranger, okay?” The two likely have an interesting conversation after everything is over with and repairs are being made to the town.

What if Radar mentions how Jesse helped with Stampy and Stacy’s dessert booth and ‘Vos’ perks up? After eating nothing but pork chops for years, he is eager to have anything else so Jack buys him a whole cake which he attempts to eat in one sitting. /j unless…

Lluna! I already had a whole post dedicated to her so here’s that! Still haven’t decided what the adventure would be though…

New Adventures:

With his old friend back in his life, Jack is once again inspired to go adventuring again. He and Nurm usually just went exploring to map new locations and it’s been a while since he went on a real adventure. Petra still wants to take a break from Beacontown and find her life on the road so they head off together. Jack is eager to share some of his favorite locations. Jack asks Vos and Nurm to join to which Vos happily joins and Nurm instead stays behind to tend to the shop and Archie. (They return after a week or two for reasons to be added.)

Possible adventuring locations during their trip: swamp (I have a fun idea in mind with this one), woodland mansion, maybe a place Petra mentions from the displays in the emporium-

I can’t wait for them to find a pillager outpost. Jack and Petra go to take out the guards while Vos snoops around… and stumbles upon an allay locked up nearby. Seeing himself in the new mob, he frees it from the cage immediately. Not realizing how they work, he gives it a torch and just assumes it’s following him because he saved it. Vos names the allay “Callou” because obvious pun. Now whenever the trio hear about outposts, they make it a game to disrupt them. Jack and Petra take turns baiting the guards (like walking up and striking up conversations or just outright teasing the pillagers) while the other hides nearby to take them out. Vos checks for any allays or golems nearby and rescues them.

Lush cave. Lush cave. Lush cave. What more do I have to say?
