i’m rewatching rtte and i’m on season 3 ep 2 and it’s so good like

- snotlouts brief look of sadness after tuffnut says “this is why he can’t get a girlfriend”

- hookfang showing off his flame to the fireworm queen

- snotlout being adamant that he has to help the queen

- the queen giving snotlout one of her babies?? that was 100% a sort of “if i die take care of my child, she’ll be the next queen” type thing

- snotlout being completely enamored by the babies

- furthermore, snotlout SINGING to the babies

- snotlout willing to DIE for the babies

- snotlout sounding on the verge of tears the entire episode

i love them so much

Some people may already know of my plans, but for this wonderous day I bring an announcement.

I will be working on a comic adaptation of the How to Train Your Dragon book series!

So far, I've made next to no progress, but I do bring a small collection of character references I'm creating to help keep my art consistent!

Progress will be slow, of course, since this is me we're talking about, but I promise it's gonna be really cool :D

Basically this is if Fireworm and Toothless species looked like they do in the movies, from another short story redraw. (Movie hookfang is a mix of book hookfang, rival MN, and fireworm. Movie toothless is a mix between him and windwalker.) This scene is from a short story where toothless finds some eggs, and has to protect the babies from Fireworm. The text: she hissed at Toothless, looking suspiciously around the room, taking in Toothless’s blackened state, covered in charcoal and goo.

i just realized that in rtte season 3 ep 2 when hookfang sees the fireworm queen he fires up to show her he has his flame back im feeling Emotions
