This November rain

drips off black, skeletal trees

like constant flashes

of doom. Broken syllables

of leaves dream of spring,

when Nature creates fresh verse.

Whistling winds seem to

foreshadow frosted warnings

of winter. This rain

punctuates a bleak scene and

those at home are glad

to warm their bones by firesides.

Caleb and Verin met at some point, especially because Caleb and Essek traveled around the world so much. Maybe at something like a Bed & Breakfast in Nicodranas.

Caleb thinks Verin is a bit of a himbo, but is sweet.

Caleb appreciates that Verin likes poetry. Liking literature of any kind is a plus for Caleb.

Caleb thinks Verin and Essek are chips "off the same hot block." Not sure what the block is. Maybe the Luxon does that?

Such a beautiful scene! I love how the star may remind Suvi of the stars of the SKY aka her citadel identity AND as a “gift” she leaves the music box aka following citadel orders. Anywho, I was looking back at old wbn art and realized I love the stark contrast of Suvi’s old hair and her new white hair so I added Suvi taking her name cloak ceremony!
