I recently read A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and boy oh boy do I love Dunkin Eggs! XD So here's a scene from The Mystery Knight featuring Egg and Lord Bloodraven - it's not in explicitly the book but it's a scene that would've happened in the background (no doubt we would've seen it if we had an Egg pov loll)

I also went for my inky style this time, with a more stained-glass vibe; I figured it'd be fitting for the story's medieval setting, and I can also play around with the figures and composition without worrying about accurate anatomy hahaa

Posting the wip made me finally finish this! I like this piece but I'm kinda tired of looking at this after the three months this took

that grey clay will turn into a bright turquoise with any luck. I’m playing with stains now but I did not measure anything so… who knows!

The Fire Festival

The Midsummer Fire Festival always hits the brigade like a storm. The summer heat is on and many of the mercenaries opt to take out their personal leave to enjoy some relaxation and wild fun.

The Brigade holdings at Westbrook and their allied cities of Goldshire and Sentinel Hill always attract many who want to both enjoy the festival and sell some goods or services.

One of the annual traditions is a large group of Troll fire dancers who come to show off their skills and earn good coin.

I have finished this piece very recently to celebrate the Fire Festival, returning to my beloved stained glass with a slightly hearthstony feel. I sure missed both styles and will definitely do a couple more, before I move onto other projects.

I’m a stained glass artist and made this House Tarth coat of arms suncatcher for my thesis defense on stained glass.

“Quarterly, first and fourth rose, a sun-in-splendour or, second and third azure, a moon increscent argent.”

Gwen (& Brienne) has been such an inspiration for both my art and myself, this is my way of thanking her. Might make a Phasma helmet as well :)
