Personally I think he's hilarious

Just checked a few of his shorts... I gotta say I'm excited that there's someone who works in the same field and sees things in a... Lighter way, let's put it like that, just like me!

But yeah, when you work as a first responder, you tend to see very... Interesting situations, more often than one would believe. It makes you question all your beliefs, how is the human race the predominant species in this world and why are you even doing this in the first place, ha! But I love my job and this guy seems to be just the same. We sure come out of it with stories to tell for life!

okay so tumblr will not allow me to send a link (which is fine) but somehow my youtube feed has been feeding me youtube shorts of a paramedic (i think...) who makes small skits about things that generally happen and all i can think of is your AU. i mean most of it is like, house calls and pick ups, but it just reminds me of lu in heathcare. the page i think it's called "WhatsGoodMedia"

I desperately want that one paramedic from YouTube (Fire Department Chronicles) to play a patient on 911. He should be EXTREMELY annoying and correct the show's paramedics the entire time. Of course, everything he says would be right IRL but on the show he ends up flatlining or whatever (he survives bec of in ambulance heroics and remembers nothing).

I absolutely LOVE Fire Department Chronicles, he’s the best 🤣❤️ His “providers test out the drugs they have to give” and “I let my girlfriend wax me while I play a harmonica” just about freaking killed me 🤣🤣🤣 He’s definitely much sillier than Legend but I’m sure Ledge would watch his videos and die laughing too 👍🏻

I’ve recently come across Fire Department Chronicles on youtube. It is hilarious.

My favorite is “Green Screening Myself Into Station 19′s Unstoppable Fuel Spill!” 11/10 would recommend.

I’d put that episode in this post, instead of writing about it, but I don’t know how, nor the etiquette for doing so. :(

oh YALL i just remmebered the part of a show we saw yesterday on the tv at kfc. i got so distracted by it i forgot to eat and we were late to choir. ANYWAY i don't even know what show it was??? but some guy got stabbed by another guy??? and he went and lay down and he was like. acting fine? with this girl holding his hand and all and then they randomly??? decided to check the wound instead of yk. calling an ambo or at the very least putting direct pressure on it, dudes this is a torso wound like two inches at a guess from the brief shot of the knife with blood on it. the wound didn't look like a wound youd expect but anyway. they decided to clean(?) it (was there even any cleaning going on or just Woe Is Him angst...) and THEN

THEY TOOK OUT CLING WRAP AND TAPE AND WRAPPED THAT SUCKER IN CLING WRAP AND TAPED IT DOWN??? AND STOPPED PUTTING PRESSURE ON IT?? JUST LEFT IT OUT THERE IN THE OPEN??

just as we had to leave my dude was clearly simulating issues with blood loss with increased resp rate and it was just. doing SUCH a bad job of it i was shrieking. and juuuuust as we walked out someone came rushing onto the scene with a black briefcase presumably a doctor but like??? if we're having a doctor show up why are we??? cling wrapping??? the wound???

it was just so laughably bad. anyway if anyone knows what show this is or what the context is I would love to hear it. there was no sound so I have no clue of what they were saying to each other but it was clearly trying to be dramatic and angsty and from a medical standpoint it Failed Utterly

I. Fucking. LOVE. FDC. He's such a fucking riot, and he's pretty spot on with so much of what he says. I wish I was even *half* as witty as he is, man. And his... entertaining depictions of the public we serve and their... uh... perceptions of reality, shall we say? Is just fucking tops.

I made this post years ago at this point and I just found a video that gives a lovely example of what an AED is doing to you:

For any who were unaware, the shock delivered by a defibrillator momentarily stops the heart and forces it to restart, hopefully regaining a normal sinus rhythm in the process.

So when you think about it, a defibrillator or AED is just the human equivalent of ‘Have you tried turning it off and then on again?’

idk how but I ended up back to watching firefighting videos on youtube(including fire department chronicles that guy always makes me laugh) I just think its really interesting when people in these specialize positions make videos about how their job works ect

also I like watching big buff men demonstrating their strength I admit it
