Naturally the van Rossums, my dysfunctional-90's-esque-trophy-power-couple, would never be caught dead eating something as vulgar as pizza in front of each other...but what about when they're left to their own devices?
Johannes spends a fair amount of his time in his Bridgeport office, on long calls with @lesmana-enterprise-ltd trying to secure them permits to build in Willupette County, writing lengthy emails to the Calico Club telling them not to let supernatural Sims get a membership, and trying to slide into Lily Feng's DMs. Sometimes, he gets a craving for the kind of greasy goodness that the salad restaurant lower down in his building just can't provide, and so his go-to pizza joint is Pizza 83, a highbrow ristorante that serves his favourite: Anchovies, white sauce, and purple sprouting broccoli, all doused in the house's signature Truffle Oil.
Maëlle was educated in a finishing school in Tartosa like her mother and grandmother before her, but years of her father losing money on the Twinbrook Knubb circuit meant she was comparatively poor and unfashionable compared to her wealthy classmates, who never let her forget it. One of the only good memories she has of her time at the school is when her flower-arranging teacher, Mary Delarosa, noticed her crying and bought her a pizza from a local parlor. Maëlle likes simple, high-quality ingredients, and when Johannes is away on business, she'll sometimes pass the time by ringing up local Evergreen Harbor takeaways and asking if they have San Marzano tomato sauce, fiordelatte mozzarella, and a few fresh basil leaves. The answer is always the same: 'Lady, are you high?!'

Mamma Tomato es un restaurante de comida italiana (la real, no un intento de, ni mucho menos una fusión con) preparada por el chef Davide Barrucco, quien tiene más de 20 años de experiencia en el mundo gastronómico.
Este cocinero especializado en panificación nació en la ciudad de Torino ubicada al norte de Italia, donde ha estudiado los diversos tipos de harina, las técnicas, las herramientas y los diferentes tipos de cocciones propios de su cocina, lo que le permite ostentar el título nada gratuito de Maestro Pizzaiolo.
La idea de Davide es mostrar que las pastas italianas poco tiene que ver con la comida chatarra, ya que todo se basa en la frescura y la preparación al instante; y es algo de lo que podemos ser partícipes, ya que la mesa de preparación está a la vista de todos, y si tienen suerte ver como volean la masa.
Para este virtuoso cocinero, el secreto de la pizza está en el proceso de elaboración. Un ejemplo de ello es la preparación de la masa, la cual tiene un reposo de casi 48 horas para que el proceso de fermentación sea completo. Esto hace que la experiencia final sea totalmente satisfactoria, pues uno obtiene una masa de pizza perfecta y crujiente que es absolutamente fácil de digerir .
Los sabores de las pizzas varían desde la tradicional Margarita, elaborada con “fiordilatte” (queso blanco suave, que no elimina el sabor de los demás ingredientes), albahaca y pasta de tomate; pasando por la pizza creativa Diávola, con tomate, fiordilatte, pepperoni y crema de ají amarillo; hasta la pizza “Romeo y Giulietta”, que es mitad calzone y mitad pizza.
Como novedad, Mamma Tomato presenta la Pizza De Un Metro, que contiene cuatro sabores distintos: Cuatro Quesos, Cotto y Champiñones, Margarita y la Diávola, señaladas como los favoritos de público y que se prestan para compartir en grupo. Pruébenla que es una verdadera delicia.
