The idea of Prismo trying to find different ways to comfort and befriend Scarab and be patient with him lives rent free in my mind.

thoughts on fionna and cake finale! SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT FOR FAC EPISODES 9 + 10

so i am a bit underwhelmed!! kinda expected more of an emotional undertone + figured they would dig a little deeper w simon and betty, but overall im pretty happy! was a bit watered down and overly sweet for my tastes i think!

BUT FIRST OF ALL GOLBETTY!!!!!! MY GF!!!!! so so happy to see her!!!! tbh i think they handled her and simon communicating relatively well considering she cant emote or speak or anything, and i loved her being protective of simon while he was in shermy’s brain.

WHICH LEADS ME TO SHERMY AND BETH?? THEY R SO CUTE!!! ITIS SO COOL THAT THEY R CONFIRMED TO BE A DIFFERENT VERSE THAN FINN AND JAKES OOO!! LOVE THEIR DYNAMIC ALOT!

also seeing marshall and gary get to have a real and visible relationship was very important to me!!!!!!! (also hunter is nonbinary 1000%)

i think that the way they approached simon and betty’s relationship was very interesting, and im really happy that they discussed and acknowledged the fact that there is very much some problems with their dynamic! i love petrigof as much as the next t4t lesbian (they mean so much 2 me), but their relationship was very flawed. betty did sacrifice everything for simon, and he ignored that sacrifice and all she did for him by attempting to throw it away by becoming ice king again, and im glad they addressed it. golbetty did her best to communicate and i love her so much for it!

i loved the dandelion imagery a lot, and although i wish they had given a little more closure to simon and betty, i think it was overall a pretty good ending! i just wish there was another season (of course) so they could go more in depth to a multitude of things, but i thought it was sweet :3

this is all very scattered and insane but im feeling very RAARRJSGAGH after that finale so excuse the rambling! i might do a more in depth thought analysis/appreciation for the little things they did tmrw when i rewatch it after im more awake!! ^_^

the only thing about the last two episodes that im actually mad about is just that we dont get confirmation if FW finn is alive or not even tho they literally bring that dudes son into fionna's world and he just does not mention his family at all
