I miss asana tobirama and you

It’s funny you messaged me this because I’m coming back into my Naruto founders era and have been storyboarding old ideas to write again. Also going through all my old tumblr things.

(I wrote 2 pages the other day for Asana and Tobirama fic which is massive coming out of years long burn out 😫)

My love for the gremlin trio has been thriving the past 2 weeks (Asana, Tobirama and Madara)

But thanks for the message! I miss it all too and am slowly trying to come back into FIOE and continue. Trying not to come in full force and get burnt out again though!

oh hi!! fab is everyone's fav and i love talking about him! here are some random stuff abt him that i like:

he is the smallest strokes size wise. here's him in a nick and julian sandwich he looks so TINY

he's half italian half brazilian!! as far as i know he's good at portuguese and im assuming he also can speak italian bc he spends a lot of time in italy

before the strokes took off he was studying sculpture at college!! he's super talented and his art is so lovely

he dated drew barrymore for 5 years. i don't know if they're still friends but she's close friends with juliet (julian's wife) and they do yoga together with their kids

when the strokes went on hiatus after the fioe tour he made a band with brazilian artists rodrigo amarante and american artist binki shapiro called little joy. their music is so so lovely very different from the strokes and it's the kind of music that cheers you up no matter what. sadly they only made one album then the band broke up bc fab was dating binki at the time and the band ended with their break up :( their relationship lasted for almost 5 yrs

currently he's working on another project called machine gum but we don't know anything abt them yet

he wrote a song for the strokes before called clear skies you should listen to it if you haven't already bc its beautiful!!!

he's the only stroke who isn't married and he doesn't plan to

he said that his hair was never curly before. he used to shave it all the time during high school bc he couldn't afford to style it but when he met albert he liked his curly hair and he decided to let his own hair grow and boom!! it became curly

when the moldy peaches performed with the strokes someone made fun of adam green's costume so fab got so pissed off and punched something hard and broke his hand and you can see his broken hand in in transit :(

he has so many coca cola shirts??? like do you have enough??

he still has the same shirts since is this it era...and he still wears them

if you read strokes interviews he's literally a child. him and albert emit strong chaotic energy (they're both gemini and aries so its normal for them to be chaotic)

he collects the coffee cups he gets washes them then gives them back to the coffee shop...environmentalist king

once he offered to pay a woman something bc he accidentally stepped in front of her in line and she was initially in front of him...i love him

QUICK! COLOR PALETTE THAT REMINDS YOU OF NICK?

So this palette is fucking ODD, let me explain.

Red.... I think my subconscious really picked red cause like FIOE era but my art brain wants to say “Red is weirdly passionate color, man’s got a shitton of passion”

Magenta or whatever you wanna call that Pink... New Skin, it’s legit just the color of the New Skin album

Sky Blue I guess??? Following pattern of New Skin this one is the definitive Peek color for me so yeah

Yellow, this one is mostly due to a dumb nickname you guys might have caught in my tags here and there, maybe twice at best, but on the rarest of rare occasions, I will legit just sit and call him Sunshine, so I picked kinda sunny yellow to reflect that. Maybe that’s just my “depression relief” brain talking.

Can this be called a Slate Grey? I don’t know if I really care what you can call it but whatever. Idk I find this particular grey to be a bit sharp to a degree, like eye catching, especially because it’s kinda the odd one out in the palette, like everything is really bright and loud then there’s this kinda subdue but sharp grey. OKAY I NEED TO TIE THIS BACK AROUND, basically for me I guess it represents out like a sharpness, almost like a knife or something, just sharp always on point, does any of this make any sense? Although maybe the bird brain is going off about the grey hairs again...

SO YEAH THAT���S THAT. I fucking suck at making palettes.
