Kingdom Hearts IV predictions: Radiator Springs/Dinoco Rust-eze Racing Center/Fireball Beach/Thunder Hollow/Thomasville/Florida International Speedway (Cars)

Takes place after Cars 3.

Is visited by Sora, who enters the world as a 2017 Nissan 370Z before visits to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Ramone’s House of Body Art end with him modified into a next-gen race car sponsored by Dinoco (with Tex’s blessing) and with Cruz’s number.

It isn’t combat based. Missions include keeping up with McQueen’s top speed by racing down Radiator Springs’ main street, learning how to turn right to go left at Willy’s Butte, driving backwards with Mater, keeping up with Cruz’s top speed on Fireball Beach, avoiding pushy competitors with the Thunder Hollow challengers, and practicing with Cruz at Thomasville, culminating in the Piston Cup race at Florida International Speedway, where the objective is to win against Jackson Storm.

It’s set during Cruz’s first Piston Cup racing season, so McQueen still has Doc’s colors and spends the Florida race as Sora’s crew chief. Also, Ramone wears his “Saludos Amigos” body paint from the epilogue of Cars 3.

As Sora finishes his story, Mater is certainly unhappy with Xehanort’s actions forcing Sora’s hand. “That dad-gum Xehanort”, he says angrily. Extra points if Sora doesn’t get to the part where Xehanort is dead, then Sarge gets in his face and demands him to teach Xehanort a lesson when he gets back in a militaristic manner. “Is that understood,” Sarge yells. Then Sora tries to correct him, but gets cut off and asked again, “Is that understood,” and has to respond, “Sir, yes, sir!”

Of course, during the top speed races, Luigi is the one to signal the race to begin. In the Radiator Springs race, Sora’s top speed is tracked by Sheriff’s speed radar, and on Fireball Beach, it’s via Cruz’s personal assistant, Hamilton.

If you fail the “Turn Right to go Left” mission, Sora goes flying into the bed of cacti, and Mater fishes him out.

Cars 2 elements will be here. Heck, maybe Mater can’t be present most for the training because he’s busy with Finn and Holley. After all, does he still owe Holley a first date?

I wanted the player character in this world to be Kairi just so Storm can feel the embarrassment of losing to not one, but two “costume girls”.

The Piston Cup race is announced as a 500-lap race, but no game developer is that malicious to force the player to race 500 laps around an oval, so they’d take after the first Cars game and make it twelve laps with the sun slowly lowering throughout the race.

Well since I'm on the subject, Finn Mcmissile and my carsona Alma Mater. Alma is a mechanic (medic in their world) who originally studied under Doc Hudson before moving on to join CHROME. She's reserved but has a natural curiosity about the world and interest in travel. In car form she is a bubblegum pink & mint tow truck.

They meet at Miles Axelrod's prelaunch party. At the time Finn was in disguise spying on the guests and Alma was wandering about lost in the crowd. When a dancing song came up, in the heat of the moment Finn pulled her into his arms - er wheels - to make himself as normal as possible. This surprised Alma and she asked him who he was. Finn responded with "a friend" and while she was suspicious, she sensed he wasn't a threat and danced with him.

When Alma was told the truth she was surprised but, knowing lives were at stake, decided to help him on his mission. They got along pretty well (what u thought this is gonna be another bickering couple cliche?) Finn was impressed by Alma's talents and kindness. Alma was also surprised to find Finn to be a welcome character for his compassion and gentleness with rookies like her.

A defining moment would be in Italy where they visit Luigi & Guido's family. There's some moments like going to the market place, or to the beach. It's like both admit they want to take time to settle down but are overwhelmed with work and other personal problems. Seeing their friends interacting with the townsfolk gives them a better perspective on balancing their lives.

Finn and Alma are open with their feelings. I think it takes a few months after the events of 2 where Finn visits her in Radiator Springs & admits he has developed a romantic attraction. Alma decides to give romance a try.

Finn calls Alma "love" "dearie" "sweetheart" it makes her swoon. Alma calls him babygirl as a joke - it throws him off! 😆 She also calls him Finny, or love.

Their first date would be visiting the waterfalls followed by late night tractor tipping. In UK Finn takes her out to the little ferris wheel in london, or the pubs

Due to the nature of their jobs they do things very late at night. Alma doesn't mind it as she's used to doing nighttime activities and even finds it soothing. If she's in Scotland they go to the pub.

After Alma joined Chrome she moved in with Finn in his countryside estate. They also have a flat in London where CHROME HQ is located. In America they stay at Alma's cottage.

Finn does words of affirmation, gift giving and acts of service. Alma is physical touch&quality time.

Finn befriends almost everyone in Radiator Springs not just for Alma's sake but also because he's simply a pleasant person to be around. Alma becomes close to Holley Siddley and Rod (who doesn't die in my au)

Finn's family are actually relieved he found someone because they were starting to get worried that his lifestyle may get too isolating for him. Ofc Mater and Lightning were very supportive of Alma & Finn. Everyone else too, save for the Sergeant: he felt finn was a bit too old for her XD

Gadgets, sleek futuristic, neon hearts, and travel are themes in Finn x Alma. Also Sky x Fire dynamic

Tropes: Blue Boy, Pink Girl; Soldier x Medic, Age Gap Romance (Both are consenting adults), Battle Couple, Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl; Strong Girl Smart Guy

Even though Finn x Alma is one of my underrated ships I still very much enjoy them. It's to the point they feel like a real couple in canon and it makes me so happy.

There's a subplot in Cars 3 where Alma is getting ready for her and Finn's wedding but gets sidetracked with helping Cruz. They do marry at the end. By that point they were together for 8 years

One of the things I love about the Cars fandom is that there is no shipping wars. Most people ship all the canon ships like Sally/Lightning or Flo/Ramon etc and ships that people have don't split any of these canon pairings up like Cruz/Natalie or Sarge/Fillmore etc. Some people ship Lighting/Francesco or Holley/Finn etc but I've never heard anyone disrespect anyone's ship or get into any arguments. Everyone is really respectful and nice. It's one of the reasons I love being in this fandom. ❤️

“It’s so nice to finally have some quality time together” Holley said as she sat opposite her boyfriend in Gastov’s. They’d been skyping each other every week for the past year but it wasn’t the same as being together in person.

“It was sure dang lucky that you'se was on a mission the same time McQueen was racing here.”

“Lucky……” Holley said conspirituality. She looked up to see Mater staring at her. “What is it?”

“Nothing, I was just thinking how dem computer screens ain’t doing your beauty justice” Mater sighed. Holley couldn’t help but blush at his remarks, however before she could reply she heard a familiar sounding voice at a nearby table.

“Finn?” she wondered out loud and peeked around Mater to see her mentor sitting at the table across the room next to the three wheeled informant they met in their last mission here. She didn’t realise that they were that close to each other but from where they sat under the pale pink fairy lights it was clear that they were. She wasn’t aware of him taking any of his other associated out for dinner, especially such a high end one like this. In fact if she didn’t know any better she would have thought that they were on a……….oooohhhhhh.

“Hey look! It’s Tomber and Finn!” Finally noticing the pair. “let’s go over!”

“Mater don-” but the headstrong tow truck had already gone over to interrupt their dinner. Reluctantly Holley went over to join them.

“Hey Finn! Tomber!” Mater yelled earning a few disapproving glares from the surrounding diners. The pair in question looked up with brief displays of shock that were quickly hidden thanks to their profession.

“Hello Mater, what a surprise running into you here.” Finn trying to be polite. Tomber made no such attempts and was glaring at them for interrupting. Holley smiled sheepishly.

“Sorry for the interruption but Mater and I spotted you from our table and thought we’d come to say hello”

Tomber whispered in Finn’s ear who blushed.

“Yes well it was lovely seeing you both but me and Tomber had best be off.”

“See ya’ll later!” Mater called as the two left. He then turned to her. “I was gonna invite them for a double date later but a guess we don’t got no need now”

“Wait you knew they were together?” Holley asked in shock.
