i also drew this a few weeks ago, its like 3 inches tall lmfao… but a little in universe photo of finn in his first stage costume!!! (with notes from finn and cesare on it… sweet)

this design isnt finalized yet, but the role (verdandi) is a doomed elven priest in the middle of a love triangle. its meant to be hamming it up and is a lot of fun, davey kind of went off with some of the dialogue for the in text play lmao. making these with some insp from actual photos is really fun!!!

dark grows the sun is an r18+ comic about seeking answers while navigating grief and the glamor (and horrors) of being thrust under the spotlight in a society that puts a price tag on bodies and lives. its a drama, a mystery, a romance........... with a style and fantasy world inspired by art nouveau and the turn of century into 1920's america

📖 OPEN BOOK - do they like reading? what’s their favorite genre?

finn LOVES reading. hes a big nerd and just loves absorbing information like a sponge. if we have to exclude nonfiction— finn literally dedicated the entire beginning of his life to research and found a lot of fulfillment from it lmao— he would enjoy drama and mystery novels set in the time when draconic society was prevalent and he would be really normal about it (turning to fallon pointing at the book like “these details arent right btw. they dont have words for that and they wouldnt have used beds like people do. its like they didnt even do their research!”)

💥 COLLISION - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

i think in the beginning finn struggles with grief the most. it consumes him and blinds him to anything but finding some resolution for it, leading to self destructive behavior.

💌 LOVE LETTER - do they like love letters? what kind of messages do they leave for their partner?

young adult finn likes love letters :) theyre really new to him, and he gets excited about the attention. this will never backfire im sure. the love letters he leaves for his partner are short and sweet, they see eachother pretty often. probably mostly for arranging to see eachother discreetly and including some mushy sentiment lol

also sketched some prints for finn and thalu. i wont lie for thalu i am recycling the really great idea i had for the fateful prince zine in 2019 (dragon wings/tail forming a circle)

this was the kamui piece for that zine… im not satisfied with it anymore :,( and dont have the working version to edit to my liking lmao. in the timelapse theres a point (right) where i wish id just stopped bc it looked great… AHHHH too much gene

me and davey like 7 and 9, the entire bottom row was taking 2 and 5 and messing with them. this red party fit is important and i have been spinning it around in my head like a microwave since davey wrote the scene

chibi twins. idk why ive struggled for so long to develop a chibi style that works for me but i think im getting somewhere???

were in a call of the netherdeep campaign and i decided to play finn in it!!! these are some quick sketches ive done since we started along with some design work for cesare, finn, and pappy up top.

tiefling is cesare, were doing toxic yaoi its fun. girlfailure/borzoi werewoof is viatrix. she rolls crit fails like its her job, the big guy with his boobs out is ash, genasi artificer, who is only with the party bc its convenient, and last but certainly not least is manston “pappy” pumpernickel, who “adopted” finn as his grandson years ago. this party is so fun and were probably going to get our shit rocked next session.

i gave my beloved dm fallon and she has already hurt me with him without us even seeing him, my man is causing PROBLEMS in the background and haunting us from afar. just twin things!!! i updated his look along with finns but all you get is his elbow bc hes still an unknown to the party (the joke that he will be just finn with a shitty pencil moustache is hilarious tho)

also the built in rivals are fantastic and theyre our friends. as a shifty bitch finn will keep them all at arms length like he does anyone else but hey… theyre cute ok. im in love with ayo jabe and WILL be drawing them that is a promise.
