Just want to say thank you to all of you, you've made this year so much fun and so incredibly memorizing for me, I haven't been this motivated to share my ideas in ages, if ever - not to mention the sheer inspiration I get from so many incredible people in this fandom. Marie giving someone a heart attack and popping half cate's arm off for Jordan I'm screaming the second she did so instinctively she didn't even realize it she just reacted from her emotions and I love that. Also I think the reason the episodes are so short and we see a lot of romantic moments between the male form of Jordan and Marie as opposed to the female form is because they changed half the cast and I think they had already started filming ??? And Jordan was supposed to have a twin and reading the articles the story must have changed a LOT, it seems like it was supposed to be a proper college show about young adults as supes navigating that world and relationships etc and then they decided to make it a huge part of the boys story

also i knew that they had to recast some of the characters (specifically jordan,) but idk if it happened while they were filming?? if that is true (if there’s someone who can confirm or deny this 😭,) i feel like that definitely could explain why the limoreau romance arc feels kinda underdeveloped

(also, i just want to say, i’m so glad they did not go the twins route for jordan, not only bc i love jordan and everything about them and wouldn’t change them for the world, but also bc the male twin’s name was supposed to be MARK.

as in, MARK LEE. from nct. i would not be able to take him seriously, i’m sorry 😭)

but it’s super interesting that originally it WAS just supposed to be a superhero show at college and tbh, i wish they had kept that aspect. i’ve said it on here at some point, but the concept of superhero college was sooo compelling to me and we basically had that for like an episode and a half before the show got suuper plot heavy. i wish they had allowed gen v to stand on it’s own first before weaving it so deep into the boys storyline, bc it worries me that once the boys ends, it’ll pretty much mean the end for gen v too since the shows are so intrinsically linked now…

ocd + tourettes? lethal combo. im so scared of getting slur tics that i think about it so much all the time and when tourettes hears that you dont want to get a tic sometimes it decides to get that tic specifically to make your life hell. anyway i live in constant fear

so if you're a tiny brand-new child, your immune system is just the worst, and ideally you should be exposed to both a lot of people and a lot of vaccines, so that you can learn how to fight both people and illnesses, and become a person who doesn't get deathly ill the second you get sneezed on

at the very least, you should have one of those things - either people or vaccines, so that you have a fighting chance of not being a creature that people in old books might refer to as "sickly" or "of faint constitution"

the problem is if you had a parent who, due to extreme conservative ideology, worked to prevent you from being around both people and vaccines, your immune system will basically not exist until you're old enough to lie to doctors and tell them it's cool if they give you shots to hopefully extend your lifespan, but depending on how obsessive and protective your parent is about monitoring your doctor's appts, that might take a fucking while

anyway, what I've discovered (after catching hand-foot-mouth at the age of 28), is that now that I'm actually around both people and vaccines, my immune system is finally doing the thing where I'm not getting sick every month and a half! and because I'm working at a job with small children, I'm finally getting immunity to all of these illnesses I should have been immune to twenty-three years ago!

called the mechanic this morning and he said he wouldnt be able to look at my car till next week but this afternoon he called back and said not only was it fixable it can be fixed by tomorrow!!!<3333 kinda pricey this time but my parents said it was ok to go ahead and i can use their credit card for it also. yayyy
