 jackie young always radiated light and warmth. even in the worst circumstances, the girl always finds a way to find the good or to make the situation better. maybe it was the way she would alter the situation in her head to make things better. even from a small age, jackie was a storyteller. she preferred to be the narrator, draped in beautiful words and   rather than the girl playing dress up in shimmering dresses.

the only thing to ever really turn her world upside down happened a few nights after her fourteenth birthday. news breaking that she had a half sibling--eli. he was the byproduct of her father’s many business trips that took place in woodstock, il. not long after the news broke and after many, many arguments, the young family’s small home was now cluttered with boxes and a moving truck was out in their driveway. they packed up their belongings and moved to none other than woodstock, il to get to know eli.

  before working at high volume, jackie was mainly focused on her college courses. when the money she had saved up babysitting and doing other small tasks started running thin, the girl knew she needed a job and fast. she thought of the record shop she loved exploring when she first got here. she remembered the feeling she had first stepping foot into the building and wanted nothing more than to give that to someone else.

christian  kwon  grew  up  in  laguna  beach  ,  california  to  a  pediatrician  and  an  optometrist  ,  so  his  life  was  pretty  comfortable  from  the  start  .  he  grew  up  near  the  beach  and  in  a  home  that  was  bigger  than  what  was  needed  for  the  three  of  them  ,  but  that  was  his  parents  making  life  comfortable  for  him  .  

growing  up  ,  christian  was  the  kid  who  had  everything  ,  but  never  treated  people  as  less  than  .  granted  ,  he  went  to  school  with  the  kids  who  had  larger  than  life  homes  of  dreamed  of  getting  a  mercedes  for  their  sixteenth  ,  but  he  had  friends  who  didn’t  have  that  kind  of  lifestyle  ,  and  never  treated  anyone  other  than  the  way  he  wanted  to  be  . 

his  parents  were  constantly  putting  christian  into  various  after  school  clubs  to  keep  him  busy  ,  and  this  was  where  he  discovered  his  love  for  music  .  he  started  out  with  learning  how  to  play  the  guitar  ,  but  then  he  eventually  found  himself  being  pulled  towards  the  drums  .  christian  wasn’t  a  prodigy  by  any  means  ,  but  he  took  the  instrument  quite  easily  .  

it  was  no  surprise  that  during  high  school  ,  christian  decided  to  start  a  band  .  it  took  a  lot  of  trial  and  error  ,  and  for  about  six  months  the  band  didn’t  even  have  a  name  .  during  those  six  months  ,  the  band  worked  together  to  find  their  sound  and  constantly  wrote  music  together  until  they  eventually  found  themselves  with  a  small  gig  where  they  debuted  as  after  laughter  .

the  band  continued  to  work  towards  their  dreams  ,  eventually  recording  their  first  album  (  all  we  know  is  falling  )  and  being  a  part  of  the  lineup  for  the  warped  tour  following  their  graduation  from  high  school  in  2011  .  following  the  tour  ,  the  band  began  working  on  their  second  album  in  2013  (  riot!  )  and  this  was  the  album  that  catapulted  them  into  mainstream  success  due  to  the  singles  crushcrushcrush  ,  misery  business  ,  and  that’s  what  you  get  .  the  album  went  platinum  ,  and  they  were  nominated  for  their  first  grammy  .

the  group  went  on  their  second  tour  ,  and  took  a  short  break  before  diving  into  their  third  album  .  they  were  soon  releasing  brand  new  eyes  in  2016  ,  and  they  were  off  on  their  first  world  tour  .  during  the  tour  ,  the  band  released  their  ep  singles  club  ,  and  finished  their  tour  a  few  months  later  .  deserving  a  bit  of  rest  ,  the  band  took  a  year’s  hiatus  before  returning  to  the  music  scene in  2018  with  their  album  paramore  .  the  album  spawned  four  singles  ,  and  one  of  them  ,  ain’t  it  fun  ,  went  on  to  win  the  band  their  first  grammy  .

later  in  that  same  year  ,  the  band  released  their  self - titled  album  after  laughter  ,  and  went  on  a  nine  month  tour  to  perform  both  albums  .  

exposed  .

during  his  time  in  the  band  ,  christian  found  himself  a  committed  relationship  .  the  couple  were  together  for  about  two  and  a  half  years  before  christian  finally  proposed  ,  and  they  were  both  excited  to  be  getting  married  .  their  engagement  had  been  a  blissful  one  ,  and  within  two  years  they  were  ready  to  get  married  .  the  day  came  ,  and  christian  found  himself  with  cold  feet  ,  thus  deciding  to  leave  his  fiancé  without  so  much  of  a  goodbye  before  heading  out  of  the  country  .

christian’s  name  had  been  slandered  due  to  his  decision  ,  and  his  management  team  wasn’t  sure  of  how  to  fix  the  error  of  his  ways  .  therefore  ,  when  the  opportunity  rose  ,  his  team  had  him  cast  on  the  show  in  a  way  to  help  clear  up  speculations  about  him  and  as  a  way  to  fix  the  tarnished  image  he  obtained  following  the  end  of  his  engagement  .

temperament  .

he’s  a  bit  of  an  asshole  .  not  a  bit  ,  he  is  .  christian  is  very  much  a  smooth  talker  and  knows  how  to  get  what  he  wants  due  to  his  charisma  .  definitely  the  ‘  mr  steal  your  girl  (  or  boy  !  )  ’  type  of  smooth  talker  because  that’s  what  he  does  best  .  he’s  wildly  charismatic  and  has  a  very  strong  habit  of  saying  things  he  doesn’t  mean  in  order  to  get  what  he  wants  .

his  emotional  and  romantic  stunting  mostly  stems  from  him  purposefully  putting  up  walls  that  he  makes  nearly  impossible  for  people  to  break  down  .  after  the  ugly  ending  to  his  engagement  (  and  joining  the  cast  of  exposed  )  ,  christian  has  shut  himself  off  from  others  not  only  for  his  image  ,  but  because  he  simply  can’t  deal  with  it  anymore  .

Cutie is taking about finding scorpions, but I have yet to see one. I remember the ad implying they're found on the beach, but could it be a seasonal thing (she has her island in the southern hemisphere)?

I tried the pro custom design stuff, making an outfit from one of my favorite OCs (Sybil). It's okay, but I need to get/ make stuff to go with it, and I get the feeling I'll be changing around a lot.

Made my title dirty and then changed it back.

Finally used my first Nook ticket! There wasn't a whole lot on the island, but I got coconuts and a stinkbug. Also a new vilager.

Speaking of, it was one of my villager's (Axel's) birthday. I gave him a slingshot bc I was unprepared.

Also, like with many other islands, the museum opened today! I really like the look of the fossil gallery, but the last room kinda feels...strange. Like, I get what they're going for, but it makes me feel like I'll be digging up dead villagers to display as 'fossils'. Idk.

Caught an emperor butterfly! It was hanging out on the second level of my island, but peeked over the edge and I manged to snag it!

Planted some flowers! Tbh it's not something I've ever done in an AC game before, so this will be an adventure.

Played off my first home loan (that wasn't the tent)! I still don't have much to display but my house is getting bigger.

ryland was not born into money but instead his birth mother was the housekeeper of a wealthy couple, the kim family, whom would allow him to play around the mansion while she cleaned. unfortunately, his mother fell ill when he was three and passed away two years later. mrs. kim adopted ryland much to mr. kim’s dismay and their only child, (N/A), got a younger brother.

mrs. kim treated ryland as if he were her own flesh and blood while mr. kim refused to wholeheartedly accept him. (N/A) was excited to have a sibling and for the first year of living with them, he was the only one that ryland would ever speak more than a single word to. the boys were inseparable and got into all kinds of mischief together which always resulted in (N/A) being the child to receive a scolding whether it was his fault or not. their reasoning behind this was because (N/A) was the heir to the kim corporation and needed to learn discipline, but that never stopped the brothers.

since mr. kim didn’t view ryland as a true part of the family, it proved to cause a lot of conflict between him and the man as time went on. in his father’s eyes, he was lower on the totem pole in comparison to (N/A) and this led any kind of expectations of him to be almost nonexistent.

the two brothers attended a private school for the children of the united states’ wealthiest families and ryland would have had a harder time getting by if he didn’t have (N/A) who was much more popular. he’d always eat with him at lunch and hang out with him and his friends which the elder son didn’t mind.

ryland was able to get away with things easier than his older brother and didn’t have to worry about upholding the family image. it didn’t bring any problems to their relationship at first, however, that all changed when they were teenagers. (N/A) began distancing himself from the younger, calling him annoying and telling him he had to grow up, leading ryland to feel alone aside from the love and affection he received from his mother. 

as a result of his growing loneliness, he turned to smoking marijuana as an outlet to cope with the sudden change.

after graduating, he couldn’t stand to be in the same house as his father and his brother was no longer in his corner so he moved out with some financial help from mrs. kim, she bought him his current apartment.

Who the heck is my muse anyway:

That pipsqueak who squashed Team Rocket’s attempted uprising in Johto a few years back — and went on from that to earn the title of the LEAGUE CHAMPION  ( though she’s still in training! )  and also complete the NATIONAL POKéDEX. 

Points of interest:

She runs a one-man capturing business, branding herself as ‘Kris Clarity, Capturer Extraordinaire.’ It’s actually become wildly popular  ( having a POKéMON ‘caught by the Capturer Extraordinaire’ is slowly becoming a status symbol! )  and so odds are, if you know of Kris Clarity, you probably know of her business.

She’s LOUD. She talks at the same decibel that some people raise their voice to — it’s not intentional, but that doesn’t make the reality of her volume any less genuine.

SUICUNE tends to never be far from Kris; if the Legendary Beast is spotted, odds are Kris isn’t far behind  ( and vice-versa! )

Recently, she’s taken to having her seventeen salandit out of their POKéBALLS when she’s resting. The scent that comes with them would be enough to turn anyone’s head — as well as most likely disorient them.

She is a total sucker for space, and can often be found stargazing on clear nights. It’s the quietest you’ll ever find her!

She’ll get in a fistfight with just about anyone and anything that moves. Odds are, she’s either just finished fighting someone, is currently fighting someone, or is going to fight someone very very soon.

Kris is very afraid of birds. The larger the bird, the worse-off she is. Birds her size or larger tend to leave her paralyzed with fear.

She’s very vocal about the fact that she doesn’t believe in psychics. This stems from the fact that she’s ESP-deaf, meaning that any and all attempts to telepathically communicate with her  ( as well as several other psychic abilities )  are rendered moot.

She very loudly dislikes Sinnoh, and she’s sure to inform everyone who mentions ‘Sinnoh’ to her of exactly this fact.

Characters with odd-coloured hair and/or odd-coloured eyes immediately garner her interest. As someone with bright blue gravity defying-hair, she automatically assumes that everyone else faced just as much hardship about their appearance as she did. Anticipate her deciding to be the defense force that character needs!

She thinks capes are the coolest thing on the planet. If you’re wearing a cape, good luck.

What they’ve been up to recently:

She’s been trying — and failing — to mega evolve her absolute brute of a houndoom named Blue. She has both the Keystone and the Houndoomite, but something just isn’t working. 

She’s always been very infatuated with quite a few people — but recently, she’s been increasingly preoccupied with what she considers ‘depraved thoughts’ of wanting to hold their hands and such.

While on the topic of Ghetsis — she’s slowly being wrapped around his finger  “proving herself useful” to him. Thus, between her thing with Ghetsis and assisting her cousin in his labwork, she’s become somewhat integrated with Team Plasma.

She’s coming up on her big 1000th personal capture — and she’s aspiring to catch a jirachi to commemorate the occasion. So she’s been pouring a lot of her free-time into researching them.

Outside of the POKéMON universe, Kris has been looking for new people to buy her food friends. She can’t very well tell people that she’s from a universe vastly different from their own, so she’s always very vague about where she’s from and why she needs to crash on your couch for the night.

Where to find them:

JOHTO.     It’s her home turf, after all! Her position as Champion-in-Training keeps her coming back home on a regular basis. Especially look for her in Olivine City, Azalea Town, Goldenrod City, near the Indigo Plateau, and the Ruins of Alph!

HOENN.     Her best friend in the universe lives there, so of course she takes every opportunity she can to spend time in this region — particularly around Mossdeep, and especially around the Space Center!

UNOVA.     It’s where her cousin and Team Plasma are located, so of course she ends up spending quite a bit of time there. Besides — the hustle and bustle of Castelia City and Nimbasa City makes Goldenrod look like some sort of hick town, and Kris loves it!

ALOLA.     As someone who loves the sun and summer, Alola is her new favourite place to be during the colder months.

MT. SILVER.     She’s a die-hard Red enthusiast, after all. She’s set up a “base camp” in the abandoned POKéMON CENTER at the base of it. She does what she can to keep it operational, in case Red ever needs it.

JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE WITH POKéMON, REALLY.     She’s the Capturer Extraordinaire — if she’s not capturing for her own leisure, she’s capturing for commission. This takes her to many out-there locations!

Current plans:

She will eventually manage to mega-evolve her houndoom. But she’s going to need some help, first. And a lot of help after.

I mostly play things by ear! Kris’ story is ever-fluid and ever-changing, so hit me up with any ideas you might have!

Desired interactions:

More friends!     Or just positive interactions in general — I love writing negative and angry interactions, but variety is the spice of life! Kris is a little abrasive, but she’ll also bend over backwards for you.

Someone to talk to her about her crush habits!     Whether it’s ‘you need to stop crushing on every pretty guy meet’ or ‘you need to understand that when people say they’re gay, it means that they’re gay and no amount of pushing is going to change that’ or ‘wanting to hold hands is okay and a natural human instinct, don’t feel bad about it’ or something else entirely — this girl needs help.

A villain who crushes on her!     Bonus points if it’s a Rocket.

More unhealthy relationships!     Kris is an easily-manipulated girl with a nigh-on palpable desperation for validation. She’s headstrong and impulsive and vehemently believes that everyone has only the best intentions! This is a very dangerous combination of traits and I’d love for people to capitalize on them to take advantage of her!

People who try and get to know her!     The real her — not ‘Kris Clarity, Capturer Extraordinaire,’ but just Kris. She has an astoundingly difficult time thinking about herself as a person, and not a pop culture icon.

More people flirting with her / teasing her!     Because I can never get enough of that to be honest.

Offered interactions:

Need a POKéMON captured? Kris Clarity’s your girl! On top of offering to capture just about any POKéMON you could ask for, she’s also become a big-enough name that even without knowing her personally, she could very easily be the person you end up going to.

Need your muse beaten up? Look no further! Kris practically speaks fisticuffs as a second language; she’ll throw a punch as her first resort, rather than her last. A lot of the time she won’t even realize that she’s being too rough until after the fact.

Need someone to stick up for your muse? Kris’ll do it! If your muse is getting bullied or harassed, Kris is very likely to jump in to defend them — even if they’ve never met! She fashions herself ‘a hero of the people.’ after all.

Need a rival? Kris loves rivals, and so do I! Whether they’re friendly or very very unfriendly, Kris will be competitive about nearly everything.

Need someone to manipulate? As stated earlier, Kris is obscenely easy to influence, and is also a very powerful person to have on your side.

Heya guys! Long time so no see/speak! Sorry for totally just DROPPING off the face of the Earth. Sure I said hiatus (kind of) on two other blogs, I DID wanna be on Ben a little bit here and there, but yeaaaaaaah

I ended up admitting myself into a psych ward last Friday due to the fact I attempted to kill myself two Wednesday nights ago, survived without need for a visit to the ER since I vomited everything 4am that night. It’s honestly the closest to death, and the most serious of my suicide attempts. I really needed to get help, so I ended up spending a week in an in-patient psych ward, so there was no way to really LET anyone know since I wasn’t planning on it, but told my psychiatrist that I tried, and he said I REALLY should go into a hospital, so yeah. 

But, on a VERY positive note, I haven’t felt this great and happy in some years. I’m on new medication, and aside from anxiety (which is currently in much better control with my medication), I’ve been diagnosed with Bipolar Depression, rather than BPD which I originally was told to POSSIBLY have. While I am taking medication for that, I’m also doing more to keep my mental health in check.

That IS going to mean I’m going to try and get out more, and remind myself to not spend all my time on the computer since I’ve noticed I’m more ambivert than introverted, with a slight tendency to go introvert, but I DO need to be around friends, and I also realized I can’t stay at my job.

I plan on looking around for new jobs, but in the mean time, I’ll be trying to change my schedule so I don’t have to close all the time. I’m getting tired earlier and waking up earlier, and it’s been great since I left the psych ward Friday afternoon. It was an experience I’ll never forget (I met some amazing, inspirational people there), and I’m glad I went. I haven’t felt this good, and motivated in a long time.

That being said, roleplay is back to a hobby, and I will do it when I want, and I’m not longer going to force myself to update and keep in check. If you want to keep in contact even though I’ll still be on tumblr, find me easier on my social medias:
