When there was finally some peace and quiet, that was when he could finally rest.

Ahhh day one speed run go! I had so much going on today that I whipped this out after getting home from work!. Ngl, I might redraw this at some point, I’m not too fond of the colouring.

Qrowtober day 5 - poison

Under a read more just to be safe. Not graphic or bloody, but some minor corrupted vein type imagery and talk of processing trauma. 

Do you ever just think about Clover being the first person Qrow lets touch his scar, and despite it being his choice, and knowing he’s safe with Clover, it’s still really frightening and something he has to take a while to get used to? And Clover just being patient and gentle and calming, knowing how important but still difficult this is for Qrow to work through? 

That letting someone else touch this part of him that can’t hurt him any more, but still feels like it can sometimes, still haunts him with the memory of that pain, might symbolize him finally allowing himself to trust someone with his heart again, even though it opens him up to being hurt and alone all over??

About Clover knowing how big this is and not taking that for granted, and thanking Qrow for trusting him like that? And Qrow just processing that someone, someone like Clover, was actually thanking him for sharing more of himself, even the parts he didn’t think could be anything other than painful and unfortunate???

Yeah no. Me neither. Course not. 

Might do a nicer illustration version of this kind of scene at some point. still want to work on the effect on the main scar so that it stands out more but... school work and writing calls.
