The 13 Primes had decided, the veredict:
There's no thing such as control, no more, not from them
Freedom is a right, and just like them, everyone deserves it
I'm so happy to finally finish this, 37 minutes of speed paint on Ibis and I'm not sure when I started this but HECK, WHAT AN ADVENTURE, I think I finally discovered my style with this picture of all the guys together and I finally could take these weird thoughts of this Au in one place and in order
I don't think I'll make more about this Au because I don't have anything else to add, nonetheless, thanks for reading my strange mini hc and fics here, and for the ideas💖
Also, more under👇
The names behind them are things that represent both the Prime and reincarnation
Servo is still servo because Servo is like hand or wrist, there's no better descriotion for someone who was made to help
Also:
Sol is the reason of stability, on the oblivion of a mind that doesn't stay in one or another gaves the rest the soil to crawl with hope and creativity
Judge is a mere archivist, one who made also history, building it into a stone that will forever be the memory of the past and the floor of the future
Meg is a simple name for simple people, two bots who dealed with loss, hunger and sadness, but now, more than ever, decided the path of peace
Prime is just a title, the title that with time was covered in shame and hipocresy when it was supposed to be stablished in faith and braveness, is time to change that
Quantum is a scale, a simple one and also full of wonder, is quick and determined, without form but full of potential
Creator is the one who makes and builds, sometimes is also who destroys, but is part of the balance, to have more things, it is necesarry to take some apart
Conqueror is who never cares for the rest, lives for themselves and only their will, there's no reason to make it this way
Night is the peaceful starts, the asleep beings and the howling moon, there's no better appretiation for life than when is at peace
Beast is the little animal we have on ourselves, the one who needs, like a kid, care and love, or it will become a biting tiger
Servo is the hand thar puts you on your feet and tell you to go foward, is the way things are made
Changer is just a way to say it, there's so much things related with evolution, but never forget, change is the result of moving constantly
Union, the love, the fellowship, the brotherhood, all those things that makes us say "I want to stay with you", including yourself

TOS comics ranking
At this point, I've read all the TOS comics out there (or almost), so this is my personal veredict, from best series to worst:
DC comics
The best by a long shot imo. Also the longest running series. Set mostly after The Search for Spock (vol. 1) and The Final Frontier (vol. 2). The following are my favorites.
From Volume 1:
-The Mirror Universe saga (issues 9-16) by Mike W. Barr: It becomes a bit of "star wars, phaser pew pew" in the second half, but still pretty entertaining.
-The first Annual, also by Barr.
-Double Blind and The Last Word (issues 24-25 and 28) by Diane Duane: The first one is hilarious, while the second is pretty moving and spones-coded.
-The Paradise Lost saga (issues 43-45) by Michael Carlin: A payback for The Apple episode.
-The Dante's Inferno/Death of James Kirk saga (issues 48-55) by Peter David.
From Volume 2:
-The Trial of James T. Kirk saga (issues 1-12) by Peter David: The humor is overdone at times, but this author brings a unique freshness and originality to the series. The trial itself is absolutely hilarious, specially when the gangsters from A Piece of the Action show up as surprise witnesses.
-Once a Hero (issue 19) by Peter David: Kirk has to conduct a memorial for the redshirt that just died protecting him, and he finds out he doesn't know anything about the man. Brutal, honest, and has one of Jim's best speeches ever.
-The Class Reunion saga (issues 25-28), The Tabukan Syndrome (issues 35-40), A Little Adventure (issues 42-43) and the Time Crime saga (issues 53-57), all by Howard Weinstein.
-The Alone (issues 62-63) by Kevin Ryan.
2. Wildstorm
Only two TOS comics from this publisher (actually a branch of DC if I'm not mistaken): All of Me and Enter the Wolves. Both are pretty good.
3. IDW
I haven't read all of them, since some series focus on characters I don't care much about, like Gary Seven or Number One. From those I've read, the ones I liked the most were New Visions (made with photo montages from the series), Hell's Mirror and Mirror Images (both set, of course, in the mirror universe), Echoes (set in the TMP era) and The Primate Directive (a crossover with Planet of the Apes).
4. The Tokyopop mangas
There are three volumes. Some stories are fine, others are meh! Perhaps the second volume was the best.
5. The UK comics
Do they have a lot to do with TOS? No. The authors were not really familiar with the series. But they're bizarre, fun and have pretty art.
6. The newspaper comics
Some of the first story arcs were quite good, though it lost quality over time, specially in the art department. Set in the TMP era.
7. Marvel second series
Consisting of the Unlimited and Untold Voyages series, as well as a mirror universe one-shot and a crossover with X-Men. Rather generic. Haven't read the Early Voyages series, focused on Pike.
8. Marvel first series
These are quite bad. Set in TMP era.
9. Gold Key comics
Some stories are imaginative, but they could be about any characters instead of Star Trek and it'd be the same. This is a problem with the UK comics as well, but somehow I enjoyed the others much more.

Episodes 3 & 4 Veredict:
4/5 straw hats 👒👒👒👒
Episode 4 ended in such a high for me i almost give 5/5 lol
The good:
I actually really liked the Usopp introduction and his relationship with Kaya. I dont think the romance added anything special but eh you know. Positive relationship, neutrally charged romance.
Amazing Kuro, love to hate that guy
It becones clear they have chosen to keep really cartoonish desings for the villains and im so here for it.
The plot finally slowing down and giving us silly times with the crew as they get to know each other better
Love the chemestry Luffy and Usopp have, immediately hit it off
All the chemestry between them was better, they shared great one on one moments but also as a group. They really feel do like a crew now and not just individuals together
Merry!! Sailing to the dawn!! WITH WE ARE INSTRUMENTAL RENDITION IN THE BACKGROUND *tears of joy*
Ehh could've been better:
This show (Netflix actually but dont get me started) has an issue with the 'show, dont tell' concept. In this case im talking about it being explicitly said that a ship is also a member of the crew. Love that sentiment but let it develope organicaly you fools, let me discover that
'We are not stealing a ship. If we get a ship we are doing it the right way' ...i hate to say it i really do, but Luffy would not day that. Even for this LA Luffy it felt weird.
Usopp is not much of a coward. Yeah i know it don't sound nice if you say it like that, but him overcoming his fear to save Kaya and his friends was a big step and also what ultimatelly pushed him to finally set out to sea
The fight with Kuro. I know his trademark attack of just blindly cutting at high speed must've been really difficult to do (the effect that was shown was amazing btw) but it was so scary in the anime! Without that, or any other real threat, the fight felt very low stakes
On that note, Luffy defeated Kuro very easily. From now on, every enemy he fights is like a boss battle that helped him level up. Kuro was barely an threat, he didnt learn anything from that fight. Its ok, but i see now the tone its setting for other fights in the future

Okay tiktok, nobody is around to see my posts except maybe Wilbur, but he doesn't matter so! I'll give you guys a small health update:
The final veredict from the slime doctors is fractured vertebrae, no sign of spinal cord injury, but I was close. Broken arm and shoulder (right), broken wrist (left), slight concussion that has already been treated during my stay and shouldn't give me further problems, and... irreparable damage to my wings, among other things. My legs are bruised, but nothing is broken. They're still deciding on whether it'd be better to give me a back brace and send me off or keep me here for intensive physical therapy. Can't blame them for not knowing everything, they're not actual doctors... but I think putting Grays Anatomy on loop at the lab was the best idea I could've come up back then to train this batch.
And... that's it? I don't know. I wanna get out of here, it's... cold. Tubbo's been keeping me company and bringing me the casual snack, and... yeah, you get the picture. I'm not upset about my wings, it's not like I was able to do much with them before, barely toke off with them, managed a full flight maybe 2 or 4 times in my life. So they won't be missed.
I'm rambling, goodnight.

hey i saw your tags on this post and i gotta ask
How do you tell if it's fetish art. Frankly I don't think I want the answer but I'm too curious
Alright, I’ll tell you guys my technique but no one is allowed to ask me HOW I know this. I’m just kidding. I know this because I spent ages 13 to 19 on DeviantArt.
So. People draw weird things all the time for many reasons. How can we know whether they’re just drawing something odd for the sake of it or if it’s a fetish? Most of the time, you do require a little knowledge about fetishes in general to be able to tell exactly if something is a fetish or not. That being said… there IS something you can do that doesn’t require much prior knowledge that helps you identify whether a piece of art was made to satisfy a fetish or not and it’s two little questions you can ask yourself:
1. Is this piece of art otherwise “normal” but its subject is a little… too specific?
And
2. Would the expression in the characters face register as sexual to me were they in a bedroom or wearing skimpy clothing?
If your answer is no to the first one, then it’s definitely NOT fetish art. This question is the crucial one to ask yourself. Art that just looks very weird and/or unpleasant to look at as a whole was made this way on purpose for shock value. If someone draws, say… Shrek and Barry from Bee Movie and they’re married and Barry is pregnant and they’re getting an ultrasound done and the baby is Garfield? That’s just weird for the sake of being weird. If it’s a scenario that would be neutral but the characters are drawn in a nightmarish creepypasta-esque style or in a style that makes you think of those Spongebob gross-out close ups (think eye boogers, hyperrealistic pores and pimples and the like) then it’s also not a fetish and it was meant to just be uncomfortable to look at for the sake of it.
Now, you’ve answered yes to the first question. The art does look like whoever made it wasn’t going out of their way to make it intentionally disturbing and it’s subject is just specific enough that you’re still not entirely sure whether it’s fetish art or not. Then you ask the second question. If a character seems to be enjoying something odd with a little TOO MUCH vigor, way more than your average person would in the same situation, then there’s a big chance you have a piece of fetish art in your hands.
Applying these two questions to the “anime girls eating hamburgers” thing… they’re all drawn in a pleasant style and, while the subject IS a bit specific, there’s no hint of the characters enjoying those burgers more than your average person would in the expression they’re making. They’re just eating them. Therefore, my final veredict is “it’s just a somewhat unusual trend. Perhaps it’s some kind of gap moe thing, given that these anime women are all tiny and delicate and it contrasts with the big burgers they’re eating.”
Of course, this method doesn’t have a 100% success rate. Some fetish art is just very subtle by nature, and artists have been putting things they’re attracted to in their art ever since man was able to scribble on caves, so the line isn’t always super clear. But they’re decent enough of like… basic guidelines that’ll help you not, say, reblog something that doesn’t immediately register as N$FW but actually IS on accident.
That’s it! I’m not including any examples because that’s kind of a jerk move but you’re welcome to like, Google the name of a show or something with SafeSearch off and see how many fetishes you can spot if you’d like.

the final veredict on the brownie experiment
it came out super fluffy and moist, actually when it came out of the oven it looked like a chocolate souffle lmao
personally i like my brownies super fudgy so it was lacking on that front for me, someone that likes less dense brownies would've probably liked it idk. i think the fact that i put in too much batter in the cast iron skillet also affected it (my bad). it probably would've benefitted from some vainilla ice cream (sadly i had none.... actually i didn't eat all of it.... maybe i should go to the convini store and buy a little carton or smth...)
the taste wasn't bad but i think the chocolate flavor was a bit muted, it could've benefited from something like chocolate shavings or a bit extra cocoa powder
it didn't taste like coconut or mayo at all, which is good on both fronts 'cause i don't like coconut and well......... i only know 1 motherfucker that would actually eat a mayo-flavored brownie
so, next time i'll try the following: 1) not putting in too much of the batter, 2) extra cocoa and/or chocolate shavings, 3) i'll buy vainilla ice cream to top it off to make it more satisfying, 4) i'll try another nut oil (dad got it as a gift from his work and nobody has touched it since december and idk i think it'd be good for desserts)

I felt the need to screenshot these tags by @milesofsoup because they are SO right. There's actually a longer version of this post on my drafts that I never posted because I felt it was even more rambly, but yeah this is pretty much what I think as well.
So I kinda just decided to copypaste that entire thing and add it here lmao.
----------------------------------------------------------
I personally have the position that Edgeworth at some point did use fake evidence. I think he genuinely thought he wa doing the right thing when doing so, and so it isn't until after this character arc that it dawns (and I do mean Rise from the Ashes) on him how wicked and prevalent those methods actually were. That "doing whatever it takes to get a guilty veredict, even using fake evidence" is not something unique to him of Von Karma but a feature of the entire justice system he is a part of.
He is, of course, already having a hard time by the time of Turnabout Goodbyes is closed. Sure, he's been saved, and he's gotten the closure he needed, but he's still haven't finishing processing all of it when he is called back to work for the epilogue (at least I like to think of it as an epilogue). And he has to go up against his own boss.
Even before the trial is done with we see him writing a resignation letter. It seems to me was already thinking of leaving the office before the whole ordeal about finding a dead body in his car and his boss being the main suspect of the murder started (and if you take into account Rise from the Ashes is a retcon, it makes sense.) He was already getting ready to leave when he's once again called into action.
And then he's exposed for using fake evidence he wasn't even aware of.
Imagine that. Imagine that you get through your whole character arc knowing that yes, you've done some pretty shitty things, but you can just resign your position to do some self reflection, change as a person, and maybe, one day, come back stronger and better.
Only to realize the whole thing was rotten to begin with.
Edgeworth is called out for the "fake evidence" ordeal but only so because it is beneficial to the higher ups. Once again, he's on the receiving end of the dirty tricks he had used before (even if he tried to convince himself that it wasn't that bad because he never went that far and he's getting murderers in jail so it's okay, right?). And they don't actually care that much because being corrupt is just protocol. Does anyone around him care about the truth but him? Was this who he used to be as well? Will this be him when he finally falls under pressure? How can he trust his own morality while working under a system that so blatantly encourages him to do evil?
It was never just Von Karma that was the problem, after all.
Gant tells him as much. This is just how things are. This is who you will become if you keep being a prosecutor. Inevitably. It'll happen.
He took a hard hit from Turnabout Goodbyes. Rise from the Ashes is just the nail in the coffin for him. Now he doesn't need just a resignation letter to reconsider himself. He has to dissappear and leave the country. Because whatever Japanifornia has going on with its legal system is fucking dystopian.
(Not like the level of corruption is unrealistic or anything but that train of thought is just depressing)
I also do think that he at least considered, you know, doing the deed for real. He wouldn't have left a note this ambiguous if he hadn't actually meant it, like Edgeworth is dramatic but come on now. When he has built his entire identity around being a prosecutor, the only plausible way of killing it was by, well, killing it. Literally. I think you can realize by the way he talks about and to Adrian Andrews and her own issues (even if he's an asshole about it), I don't think I'm reaching too much when I say this. His wording is very specific. But whatever he saw in his journey of self discovery (perhaps he went to a place where the systems are better) made him regain hope that maybe change is possible. That things don't have to be this way, actually.
I think that really makes the message the game is trying to push all the more impactful and I'm a little sad about this not being the way it was implemented but oh well. A man can have his headcanons.
----------------------------------------------------------
Sorry to have copypasted all of this (why am I apologizing? This is my own damn blog) but there were a few things that maybe were valuable there that I didn't realize were worth saying at the time but now that I saw someone agree I felt like recovering it.
I know it goes against Rise from the Ashes canon but I like to think that Miles Edgeworth really did fake all that evidence and he just got away with it for years until it was no longer convinient for the higher-ups. The moment Edgeworth actually tries to implement such thing as "morals" the system punishes him for it.
Because let's be real, that infamous "updated autopsy report?" He absolutely bribed the forensics team to get it done. He pulled that thing out of his ass I'm not naïve.
Personally I think this is a much more interesting reading than "he never presented forged evidence knowingly" because it really goes to show how hard it is to thrive in a corrupt system without using dirty tricks.
This to me doesn't make him any less sympathetic. On the contrary: it is a reflection of how little agency he truly had over himself. He knew that what he did was fucked up and he did it anyways because he thought that was the only way things could be.
El que no transa no avanza, as the saying goes. He who does not cheat does not succeed.
The moment you stop cheating, the moment you stop playing by those busted unwritten rules, the entire world turns on you.
This is what ultimately happens to Edgeworth. Just as he's trying to be a good person, to see things from a new point of view, to reform himself and be better... he gets a punch to the gut.
The whole thing is rotten. Rotten to its core.
I could probably elaborate a lot further, but this is where I'm leaving it for now. Just know that I'm absolutely revisiting this train of thought in the future because it is one of my favourite parts of the first Ace Attorney game and I can't stop thinking about it.
Or maybe I'm just from latam idk.
