For me personally the worst thing about shows getting cancelled is that each time I loose another bit of hope that things will ever get better in the industry. There were strikes, and I remember thinking 'oh so things will get better after all'. And then they fuckin didn't. I remember when Olan Rogers managed to save Final Space and it made me all emotional and hopeful because if he could do it, maybe everyone else could too, and maybe not everything is lost after all. And then. Nothing fuckin changed, at all. (thank god for olan rogers really, but still.) I just feel so burned out and hopeless in all of this, and it sucks because positive attitude is usually the way to go for me

R.I.P. Cartoon Network

As you all know Cartoon Network Studios shut down, and they're removing their own shows from their own streaming service and digital purchase.

Including other successful animation studios, shows that are or was rejecting good shows after one or two seasons, or before they even aired the pilot. This also includes a lot animation workers & creators unemployed or disappointed they won't finish their series. During COVID19 their shows carried the industry and made a lot of people happy or excited. (And being able to watch something else besides TTG.)

Unfortunately the company decides to pay them back by canceling their shows after the first or second season, or before the pilot of their show even aired. (Reblog & comment for shows that should have a continuation, like Samurai Jack did ^^.)

They're doing this because of greed and believing it'll make their finances look better by minimizing and cutting their employees. The CEOs and executives are removing everything just for money.

(In my opinion these are my top that I think should have another season or continue the series in Adult Swim.)

(I mostly want them to bring back Infinity Train & make these 2 a mini series.)

Please reblog, ❤, and comment that they should stop rejecting exciting and interesting shows, and which animated series should have more seasons, a movie, a mini series, or a graphic novel & comic series.

Final Space fans of Tumblr! There's a new campaign going on to save the show! One of the projects written off by Zaslav, Coyote vs. ACME, has been saved by being bought by a distributor! The same can be done for Final Space! Series creator Olan Rogers posted that a Netflix exec expressed interest in the show! Every fan who can watch the series on Netflix, let's get that view count up! And spread the tag #FinalSpaceNetflix to let them know we want them to buy the show! We can do it, Fantrexians!

These are my favourite 10 shows, including, Arcane, Gravity Falls, Invincible, Hilda, Final Space, Young Justice, Jentry Chau Vs The Underworld, Adventure Time, Regular Show and The Amazing world of Gumball. With some extras being, Outer Banks, Scavengers Reign, The Office US, Stranger Things and Cyberpunk Edge Runners. I will post my breakdowns for each show in another post.

I could go on for hours how I wish that there was more lore shown for Quinn herself, I love Gary’s goofball self too but I needed to see her being more solo too! OG screenshot is under the cut !!

Seriously though Quinn’s so underrated for no reason, she deserved more screen time along with a genuine storyline that would’ve shown us how she felt being trapped in final space itself. I hope there’ll be more about her in the upcoming novel 🤲💜

When will these companies realise what a dedicated audience they have with good animation? Sure the audience might not be the largest ever but we’re a constant - you can always count on us being there and consuming the media fed to us.

When these companies cancel shows that have such a pull of a wide range of audience members regardless of age they’re not just disappointing us but they’re fucking themselves over.

I can’t wait for the day where these companies have this all blow up in their face after cancelling numerous amazing shows just because animation isn’t as highly respected.

I salivate over their demise.
