i have been so indecisive lately it's so grating and frustrating. and it's probably because im stressed out and not good at managing it. but even small, innocuous decisions are overwhelming. i can barely get dressed in the morning bc nothing feels right. and im constantly telling myself, "come on Kayla it's not that hard!!! this isn't life or death here. it won't make or break you!!" but it still feels that way nfkjenslkfe,m

tbh i've never understood the desire to closely map out the timeline on succession. like, the time being out of joint fits thematically.
my interest in 1:1 shakespeare:succession comparisons is kind of nil but, also—for instance, hamlet does not track at ALL time-wise and that hasn't affected its popularity. and in both cases i think you can argue for the individual character psychologies physically shaping the form of the work. we as an audience are so steeped in hamlet's grief/indecision/mental distress that time literally stretches out in the early acts.
same's true for succession i think except in their case it's more Cycle Repeats Faster. Cycle Repeats Faster. Cycle Repeats Faster. and so does time along with it, even if from a purely realist perspective it doesn't quite track lol. zero shade to people who get their kicks by tracking how long season 2 passes etc, but i'm more interested in the thematic temporal distortions
