All right so I haven't been active in the Julie and the Phantoms fandom in a long time, and although I know there are definitely still people creating and reblogging in the fandom it tends to be a much smaller handful of people than it used to, which for me felt disheartening and was part of why I've backed off from it. I'd love to see new stuff more regularly and start recirculating older things just to remind myself and anyone else who needs it how much I love this silly little show.

All this to say, I am putting out feelers to see if anyone is interested in a blog that runs consistent, casual event-type things for the fandom to try and revitalize interest in jatp fanworks, like featured weeks for individual characters here, fic rec events, etc. I'm toying with ideas to inspire people to pick up their wips, spark new stories, and highlight older content that didn’t get much attention or would just be nice to see again. I’d like to create a community space to liven the fandom back up for people who miss the show or got into the fandom after the hype died down. Does that seem interesting to anyone?

Phone charms would probably be smaller than keychains (maybe around 1-1.5 inches tall) and keychains would be 2-2.5 inches maybe?

I want the Papyrus one personally, so even if theres not too much interest I'll probably make a few, but if there IS more interest, I'd be more inclined to make more characters (let me know what other characters yall would be interested in seeing 👀??) or maybe alternate designs for characters (alt poses/outfits maybe...)

Concept I thought of recently and I really like: the relic fragment as a protective ward.

Originating from the hidden land (somewhere we've seen contains lots of paintings and imagery of a lot of different legendaries) and having some kind of canon magical properties to it (it chooses who it deems worthy and seems to present itself to them as seen with Partner), I think it'd be neat if it also had ways of protecting its chosen bearer, to guarantee them the best possible chance of achieving their mission.

Therefore: the relic fragment working as a protective charm against the powers of most legendaries.

This could work as a good excuse for why Uxie's Groudon illusion is so easy to beat despite being hyped up, and why it seems to fizzle out so quickly on defeat.

More importantly though, it could be used as a fun justification for why Darkrai doesn't intervene until the post-game (and potentially how Palkia was able to break in so easily around the same time) - the partner has given up the relic fragment by this point, with it taking its place in the rainbow stoneship. Hero's proximity to the partner (and therefore the relic fragment) meant Darkrai couldn't do anything before now unless he wanted to show his face and act directly - which he's very averse to doing.

It doesn't work against primal dialga tracking them for one of two reasons - either its power is useless in the future because the hidden land is in ruins, or because the protection isn't designed to protect from Dialga. After all, what happens if the owner of the fragment goes rogue? Dialga needs a way to put a stop to that, of course.

I really liked the first 2 seasons of Dr Stone - it wasn’t what I was expecting and it didn’t go as far as I would have liked with some aspects but it’s a fun show with cute characters. In terms of fandom I was kind of hoping for more digging into a slightly more emotionally deep/realistic look at how the events of the first season might affect the characters, or more in depth elaboration on Senku’s character tho :0

I do think sengen and senkasa(?) are fun ships & I also like aroace Senku but I need MORE I need more MEAT on these bones.

Senuk was alone and awake in the stone world for 6 months - not to even get into being partially conscious in complete sensory deprivation for 3700 years - and I want to GET INTO how that would affect him and how the hell he survived and how he kept it together because that would mess with anyones head. I want them to worry about dying from exposure and infection and care for each other through that. I want the old world humans to talk about the things they miss and their fears about living without modern technology and losing the people they love even if it’s temporary. AND THAT SENKU LOSING HIS DAD IS PERMANENT UNLIKE EVERYONE ELSE. I want to pick out the emotional and the survival aspects of the show and push them further!!!! That’s what I really like about fandoms for these kinds of shows n I feel like I’m just not seeing it :( Also I know that part of Senku’s character is that he acts detached, but it is an act, and I want to explore why he acts that way and what’s under that act. )

This is not a criticism of the fandom or other fans btw it’s just my onion 🧅 I like the fandom, I’m just kind of interested in different aspects than most people seem to be.
