Sometimes it takes FAITH

When things get tough, sometimes we do shut down. Shutting down on ourselves, the people we love and to others who have no clue whats going on. I tend to do that, and I will admit to that -Iam hella guilty of it.

But why does it seem so hard to do so? I have tried so hard to have everything according to plan but i guess nothing will go my way or ought to be better in this life time. Can anyone understand this? The feeling of being lost. Going by the moment. Going by the feeling of thinking the feeling must go or you should go far away?

Im at that point to say that it might happen soon. That id run away to a far away place. With a plot twist. Maybe someone who needs a layout to talk about her feelings, emotions and everything all in one.

Advice please is all I ask. Because I have no where to go.

still refusing to render sprites because my brain only cares abt full illustrations now - but either way, here's Venison! finally got around to doing their garments and chibis properly

Venison is the former leader of Spina Venatores - a mercenary group working under Manus Vindictae that are tasked with erasing people from history through any methods possible, ensuring that their name is TRULY gone from everyone's minds and mouths to continue causing "Storms" by fucking with history

it also doubles as the one place for Arcana to send all the Manus members that are MUCH too troublesome and volatile to keep close, but much too useful to get rid of. Venison and the rest of Spina Venatores are introduced in their own event, "Underbelly of the Unforgiven" where all main characters are related in one way or another to arcanists Vertin has met, to really drive home how she can't save everyone and how some people, instead of being sifted out by the storm, will fall victim to Manus Vindictae

I imagine Venison later shows up on the main story to try and make up for their failures during the event, but Arcana abandons them to their luck on account of now being useless to her - so they go a little deranged about it and attempt to side with the Foundation instead, but Vertin shows up like HEY. HEY DONT DO THAT, CONSIDER ENTERING MY SUITCASE INSTEAD

so the Venison in the pictures above is the much, much, much more calm version since they're actually getting some good exposure therapy to healthy mindsets in that suitcase <3

Being a filipino who lives in the province is crazy. Because what do you mean I encountered random snakes inside my house in different situations... 😭😭😭

1. A snake fell on me when I entered the bathroom.

2. A snake was found in our electric fuse and turned off the switch lmao. I thought it was just me.

maybe it's to maintain a sense of tension & turmoil that would eventually reach an explosive peak, a sense of tug-of-war, a back-and-forth to hammer home the ideals they want to deliver and for the viewers to chew on, but although these arguments regarding hiroshi & his stance as a man torn between his loyalty for his country & the loyalty for his Filipino friends and lover is of course important, how they write these scenes & the points they present from this week alone is getting too repetitive...? literally the argument scenes from last night & tonight between adelina & hiroshi is basically the same; the ideas were the same, the dynamics were the same: the aggressive, radical adelina, bristling rage and fear over the injustices she's seen thus far, and the cautious, inspiriting hiroshi, all hopefulness and reassurance one moment as a lover, defensiveness and sternness as a japanese soldier in another. this debate will be ever-present ofc, it is one of the series' biggest conflicts, but it is unfortunately so easy to tell when it is a.) being pulled up as a main topic to move the plot along / be a necessary conflict for character development/introspection / be the conflict to deliver the morals & messages the writers want to send to their viewers, or b.) when it is being pulled up only for the drama and filler to pass the time. like watching the characters sit down to argue for 10 minutes, do other things for the plot for 2 minutes, then sit down again to argue for the next 20 minutes. lol.
