Remember, Our Lady has conquered the underworld and smashed the gates of hell. There is no place into which Her light does not shine. No matter the depths of darkness, pain, and despair you find yourself in, know that She can and will find you to take your hands and lead you into the world of light. You are not lost, She has found you.

Post-election prayer
O Déa, Divine Mother and Guide of All Souls,
In this time of uncertainty, we come to You with hearts open yet troubled.
Though the path ahead feels difficult, and the future unknown,
we place our trust in Your wisdom and grace to see us through.
Help us to hold compassion and understanding,
to stay true to our values, and to work for the good of all,
regardless of who leads or who follows.
Remind us that Your light is within each of us,
and that we are called to be a source of hope and peace.
Grant us courage to stand firm in what is right,
wisdom to find common ground,
and patience to see beyond the present challenges.
Let us remember that all things are held in Your love
and that even in darkness, Your light endures.
O Divine Mother, strengthen our hearts and minds,
that we may work toward a brighter world,
trusting that with You, all things are possible.
So may it be.
Amadéa

The Tranquility Prayer
I am Your child, Dea, now and always. Let me dwell within Your Light and Love. I am in command of myself. I am in charge of my thoughts and my emotions. I am a peaceful soul, my soul loves tranquility. There is no need to be anxious, I have no fear because Madria Dea, the Great Mother, is watching lovingly over me. -The Clear Recital

Rosary
This morning as I got up, I felt called to pray the rosary not just for one round but for about three. I prayed an Anglican style rosary that I had altered and dedicated to Déa and throughout the entire prayer session I couldn’t help but vividly picture angels praying with me, particularly my guardian angel.
It was a beautiful experience and probably the first time in a while that praying the rosary didn’t feel like I was performing an empty ritual.

This is also the key to making a devotional practice work for people who have mental health concerns. I have been depressed and anxious so often that I would almost never practice my religion, Filianism, if I waited for a day when I had full energy and no anxiety and no depression. Sometimes all you can do is say a good “dear Dea [your deity], thank you, Amadea [prayer ending].” before bed or whenever you can fit it in and that’s ok and great because you are still actively worshipping and thinking of Dea [your deity].
One thing that I have to keep reminding myself, is that it’s still okay to worship even if you can only put in minimal effort on a given day. Consistency in worship, even on days when the first item on your to-do list is faceplanting into your mattress is important. The gods will see you making the choice to say a prayer, or light a candle, or leave an offering no matter how small or brief or unplanned.
And it can be hard- so often our connection to others in our faith communities is online, and many of us post our more impressive offerings, our polished prayers, our cleaned and organized altars- anything else feels unfinished or unworthy, but in my experience one of the most important parts of worship is showing up in the first place. Making the effort, no matter how little effort you have left to give can expand your relationship with a deity. A thirty second but heartfelt prayer, lighting a candle for them while doing something else, leaving them a piece of a chocolate bar that you’re eating as a pick me up because your day’s just been that bad.
Some of the most refreshing and meaningful connections I’ve made with the gods have come in moments where I thought I had nothing meaningful to contribute to my worship of them but chose to worship anyway. I’m not here to tell you how to worship, or what’s the least amount of effort you can put in, I’m just here to tell you, that it’s okay to worship even when you feel like you don’t have enough of yourself to offer- the gods decide what is enough, it’s not our place to determine what they will accept.

Offerings to Lady Sophia
I've had a few people ask me, when worshipping Sophia as a Pagan or Witch, what kind of offerings they could give to Her.
Just wanna preface this by saying this is totally based on my own personal experience as a Sophian devotee for the last twenty years, someone else might have a totally different relationship with Her. Because Sophia is known throughout so many different cultures as Divine Wisdom, I do believe that everyone's own UPG of Her is valid for them. But I just wanted to share my own workings with Her.
When I first got asked this question, my initial answer was that Sophia is not the kind of goddess who demands offerings. She always gives Her gifts freely as any loving mother does without expecting anything in return. This was how I tended to think other deities and spirits worked outside of the Jewish and Christian "pantheon" as it were. But delving back into my Pagan practices has given me a new perspective on why we give offerings to deities and it's not because the gods are necessarily self-serving or demanding etc.
Offerings to Sophia are not obligatory. But, She is Our Mother. And it's nice to do things for Her the same way it's nice to give our earthly mothers Mother's Day gifts or just treats and favours to show our appreciation.
I feel the exact same way with my patron god Cernonnus. I don't think he's there tapping his hooves waiting for me to give something back to him in return for his help, but he is my father/brother/friend and so I like to give him something as thanks. However because Cernonnus is so heavily connected to the earth and to agriculture etc, my offerings to him tend to be things like burnt herbs, seeds, grain, twigs and other things I've picked up usually when I'm out on walks. They're usually things that I give to him because they reminded me of him and they were little signs of him being near me or just something I thought stood out and looked cool and I wanted to share with him.
Now Sophia is quite different. Sophia for me is much more to do with the spirit, the mind, with the metaphysical and mystery of the Universe rather than the physical. So my offerings to Her tend not to be objects but rather that which stirs the divine spark inside of me.
These can be:
- Praying. Very simple. Whether it's a short prayer or a rosary. I use a slightly tweaked version of the Filianic Rosary but there is also the Gnostic rosary or those who have tweaks of the Catholic Marian rosary for Sophia. What's important with using these as offerings however is truly meditate while reciting, don't just go through the motions. Truly connect to the Daughter, Zoe Sophia, within and let your soul rise with Her.
- Singing. Doesn't matter how tonedeaf you are, if singing is something you enjoy and helps you release a lot of energy than Sophia loves to listen. Doesn't have to be a religious or devotional song, it can be Taylor Swift or whoever, so long as it makes that spark inside burn bright.
- Dancing. Same as singing, when I dance I find my ability to visualise is so strong and imagination is something Sophia adores because it's us opening our eyes to more than just the material world and to the potential of more, of everything that is contained in the Pleroma.
- Read aloud page or passage. Again, doesn't have to be any type of scripture, doesn't have to be fiction or non-fiction, just share with Her something that has hit deep inside you. Doesn't have to be anything smart, remember that Wisdom =/= Knowledge, it can just be something that gave you a new perspective or just hit you in the feels as it were.
- Meditation. If you don't feel like speaking or dancing, the most simple of offerings can also be the most meaningful. Sit quietly, put on some soft music or light candles if it helps, and just close your eyes. Meditating to connect with Sophia is as meaningful as picking up the phone to have a chat with Mum. Feel her both within and outside yourself, connect to both the Mother and Daughter. Sophia loves most just for Her children to want to be close to Her and come to Her.
Now this isn't to say don't offer physical objects to Sophia, you absolutely still can and I often do. The Daughter Zoe is Life, She exists within everything The Mother lovingly created. Look at the correspondents of crystals and herbs and whatever you feel connects you to Sophia you can always place on an altar for Her - on a little statue I have representing Her I've placed little lapis lazuli shards. I also found an owl feather in my flat the other day from where I'd left the window open - owls are connected to Athena, who I see as an aspect of Sophia, so I placed that close to Her statue too.
I should also mention that one Christo-Pagan friend I once had used to bake little honey cakes as offerings for Sophia, who she believed was also Asherah and obviously this is a reference to the forbidden worship of Her in the Bible:
"and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven."

Where are the Aristasian secular holidays?
In my Aristasia deep dive, I became curious of how Aristasians celebrated holidays and have been disappointed to find relatively little chatter about holidays. They celebrate Christmas, by a different name, in a relatively normal way, and there's a little bit of chatter in the Chelouranya days about a kawaiier version of Halloween, but other than that it's mostly just Filianic Holy Days, which seem to mostly consist of prayer, reflection, and some specific suggestions for fussing about your altar. There is an immense amount of world building in Aristasia, and certainly during their heydays there was a lot of real-world interaction between Aristasians with the founding of embassies and households, and parties and gatherings were frequently thrown. But there's a surprising lack of secular holiday celebrations. There seems to be no such thing as a Cuivanya traditional throwing of the wheat wreath, no Florimaia picnics celebrated with purple cakes, no traditional Lady Day tree planting, or any other number of silly traditions that tend to pop up naturally over the course of the years from celebrating holidays. If they were creating any sort of annual traditions, they were not talking about them. For world building in a game that is largely inspired by the wonderment of childhood, there is a surprising lack of games and play in Aristasia
