This one was fun, though I had to redo the wings digitally bc I didn't like how the original ones came out argh🥲 but I really dig the final results, I added some shine to the sparkle in the middle of their face and some other little bits and I'm satisfied with the end result haha✨️

Think I'm going to do one more and then put them out as prints, also wondering if posters are something people would be interested in? Posters in general actually, bc I noticed ppl like to buy the one listing I made for a piece I did at the beginning of last year in that format🤔 feel free to let me know!!

눈에 포진이 생겨서 그 쪽으로 눕지더도 못하고 하루 세번 바르는 약에 의지해서 포진 이틀째. 그나마 요녀석은 쉬이 가라앉아줄 것 같아서 한숨 내려놓았습니다. 연필로 그리면 붓으로 페인팅할 때보다 내 선이 하나하나 모두 닿는 느낌이라 좋아요 두 가지 모두 다 하고 싶은데 어떤 방법이 잘 맞을까 고심하는 나날들이었습니다. 그리고 인물드로잉 연습은 매일 하고 있어요. 이제 드로잉북을 펼치는게 제 일상의 시작을 알리는 행동이 되버렸네요. 성실하고 낮은 자세로 하되 그림 앞에 설 때는 굽혔던 허리를 일으켜 세워야겠습니다. 꾸준히 배워갈 거예요. 계단을 올라가는대 평지만 만나는 것은 성장을 경험하고 있지 않은 것의 반증이라는 어느 선생님의 말씀을 마음에 새기고 답답하고 목이 갑갑해지는 순간순간들이 오면 초연.....해져야하는데 제가 그럴 수 있을까요😂 모두 좋은 주말 보내세요🙃🙃 3.7~8 양일간 DDP 에서 하는 #nftkoreafestival 도 꼭 구경와보시구요:) 1년에 한번 열리는 행사라 이번을 놓치시면 내년까지 기다리셔야 한답니다 저는 7일에 있을 예정입니다. 많이 놀러오셔서 그동안 못봤던 얼굴도 보고 이야기도 나눠요🐰🐰🐰 #pencildrawing #drawings #pencils #연필그림 #sketch #figuredrawings #figurestudy #그림 #손그림 #스케치 #드로잉(Seoul, South Korea에서) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpVRROErJZ-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

When I made the decision to start offering art lessons, honestly, I choked. It never happened for me either. I really felt my knowledge was limited and there was no way I could make an appropriate offer… maybe it’s imposter syndrome because I’ve been making art since before I can remember, under my mother’s guidance, and she’s truly on of the best… but that didn’t keep me from feeling inadequate and inferior to teach any sort fundamentals and THAT has me holding back. That was probably two years ago now, and even though I put myself through my own artist boot camp, I am in a much happier and more confident place with my art now… …and I’m pretty sure I’ve finally removed all of the hurtles holding me back. Now, I can say under various mentorships and intense practice and drilling, I’ve studied classical realism and atelier to expand my previous more illustrative experience. Moving forward I have scrapped everything I know about art, and since then, I’ve made a full circle and remember back to all the teachings my mother instilled more than ever. “Draw lots of hands.”, “Look at yourself in the mirror to draw your characters”. “Use more than one color beside each other”, “don’t draw individual teeth, but teeth as a shape”, “put some purple in the shadows”. “Remember interesting composition”, “Never leave out good storytelling”. Everything I’m still hearing again, and again, from the all masters.
