I don't know much about Angelic layer , only a few things, but I would like to ask;

Does Nora has an Anansi angel? If not anybody else, she totaly seems like someone who's into figting stuff🥊🥊🥊🥊!

Nora doesn't have an angel, despite Alya's pestering. She sees herself as "too mature" for a kids game like Angelic Layer, but since she kick boxes under the name "Anansi", Alya has basically designed her an Anansi angel and all Nora has to say is "go" lol.

This is a post for @just-allovertheplace because they brought up a point on one of my Phin posts and I wish to elaborate

So when I say some of Phin's actions should've been a result of her own ignorance, I dont mean like, all. The attacks against Roxxon should absolutely be done from a place of hate, those fuckees killed her brother and are selling off nuform as a clean energy thing despite Knowing it's harmful. Everything against Roxxon is fine to have been malicious intent

What I mean with that post is I feel there should've been an emphasis on Phin not really thinking about the damage her attacks may cause to innocent people until after the fact. She's not putting civilians in harm's way just for shits and giggles, Roxxon is her first priority and her grief sort of blinds her to how she may be hurting others in the process. The reason I like to add her warning the people at the rally to run is that the fandom Loves using that scene to call Phin a horrible person for putting Rio in danger. And in my honest opinion, some of that can be equated to bad writing, since Phin is sort of all over the place in terms of her actions. I can definitely word this better when I finish my replay of the game but like, there's moments where the narrative villainizes her a bit Too much and it leads to people hating her more than sympathizing with her, which really doesn't work when the point of her arc was to make the player feel bad for her by the end, not cheer for her death.

This is why it works better for me if she's going into these attacks clouded by her own rage and not entirely understanding the consequences until after it has been done. She doesn't want to hurt innocent people, she wants to hurt Roxxon. She just doesn't realize innocent people Did get hurt until the action is already done. And one could say I'm watering her down and making her less evil or some shit, but I also do this because I don't really like how her or the Underground are handled in the game. You have to tread carefully when playing with the "character figting worse character is Doing It Wrong and is therefore just as bad" trope, especially in the context of the 'worse character' being a corrupt rich asshole in charge of a corrupt company who is knowingly making people extremely sick with his product just so he can sell it. And the game uses this trope pretty poorly, with how horrible Phin and the Underground are portrayed. The Underground is a literal terrorist organization and Phin herself shows no care for the people she hurts in the process of taking down Roxxon. She doesn't even care that the Underground is getting sick from handling the nuform, and that's a scene that really Icks me because there are Connotations behind saying the black girl trying to fight a huge corrupt organization that killed her brother has become no better than the white man who owns said organization and just about takes Pleasure in what he's doing. I really hope this is not a hot take and I am not the only one who thinks this.

Anyway, that's largely why in my rewrite, I tone down both Phin and the Underground a bit. If they were the only villains in the game and weren't fighting any sort of higher power, I'd probably be fine with them the way they are. It's the fact that their goal is to stop a large organization from harming the city with their product, and are written as terrorists who don't care about the innocent people they hurt that makes me look at them and go Hm. This was not handled well. At all. It's why in my opinion, Phin works best if her attacks are never meant to hurt innocent people, rather she's sort of in over her head and didn't think about the damage she'd be causing until it was too late. And like this also checks out when you remember she is an 18 year old girl, yeah she's gonna fuck up. Girliepop never even made it to her 20s /ref

I'm bored at work and obsessed with Necrons so I was thinking of what different Necrons would be like in a figting game.

Trazyn - Tricky gimick character. Can summon his soilders to different points on the stage to either attack when the enemy gets close or swap places with him. Also can summon random bullshit from his collection like Faust from guilty gear. Has unique taunts when fighting Orakin.

Orikan - Slippery mage character with teleports and counters like JP from SF6. Works best at full range zoning or geting up in your face in the corner for tricky mix ups and pressure. Has an install to go energy being mode like the end of infinite and the divine. Needs to meditate(taunt) a number of times through out the match to get access to it.

Imotekh - Straight forward rushdown like Sol Badguy. The agro shoto of the game. Strong agressive allrounder.

Szarekh - The boss character. Has huge full screen atracks and screen polution with minons and projectiles. You must fight your way to him if you want to beat him. Thinking Justice from Guilty Gear.

Anrakyr - Fast paced rushdown with mix ups. Can call in vehicals and artilery to fire at the opponent from off screen similar to Jin calling in his mech in MvC. Keeps opponents locked down with artilery to keep mixing them up.

Szeras - This is a weird one but I think Seraz would be the big body grappler of the game. Hes bigger than most the other necrons and I think he'd want to get close to "examine" you. He'd have command grabs where he uses his disection tools to dismember oppnents and a supper where he operates on you like Faust.

Phillias - The big brusier of the game. Big scyth big super armor. Will bully you into the corner in neutral and lay down huge damage. The Marisa or Vaseraga of the game.

Oltyx - I'm thinking a "stance swap" character but like Aba from guilty gear. He can swap between his different sub routines giving him new moves but the sub routines that take over are random and he can build up to a big super mode like Aba's Raoh which would be his anger sub routine.

Yenekh - He would be a master of close range combat and dominate neutral but suffer on defence. Solid normals that are good for wiff punishing and a counter move. A master swordsman who is good in the hands of someone that can read thier opponent well.

Zandrekh - He's a puppet character who cant fight well alone but relies on his loyal "friend"(lover) Oboryn to fight for him following Zandrehk's master tactical skills in battle. Zandrehk would have a mechanic where he "gets tired" because still thinks he's flesh and blood and Oboryn would need to help him get back on his feet.

Zoltanehk - He's just having a good time. Most of his moves feel like hes just dicking round. Has a move where he puts his hands out to his side giant dad style and walks forward. He can absorb one move, in this stance, taking reduced damage and negating hitstun then use one of a few different follow up moves. His normals he can be charged slightly to delay them and fuck with the opponent. Somewhere between Belial from GBVS and Slayer.

Neth - Janky "robot" character think Robo Ky. Seems bad on thier face but if you learn how to use his weird gimicks he can put in work. Constantly malfunctioning in ways that hurt him but also his opponent.

Lysikor - tricky set play/trap character constanly weave you more and more into thier trap. Testament from the old Guilty Gear/Byakuga from Undernight. Uses canoptek constructs for traps.

I was so good at God of War until I tried on Lies of P

Last time on GOW Ragnarok I beat Gna, the Valkyrie Queen on the hardest mode (Give me God of War) then I was so confident that I could destroy LOP and here is my first try on figting Parade Master lool This game humbled me for good. xD

Lies of P was my first SoulsLike game but at least the closest thing I played was GOW on the hardest mode. Btw, as you can see it was another story 🤣 And it's not that I've got good at it now I'm just the same. Perfect Guard in LOP is quite hard for dodging player like me.

Some of him beeing a Explorer, some of him beeing a hero

I like to belive that he is very smart and that he had various (useless) things abaut AUs memorized, and thats why he is very forgetfull. His head is very filled with a bunch of interesting (but useless) facts and he thinks that will be usefull some day

To me he is an Explorer, he will explore up and down the New word that has been created, and maybe use some of his magic to get away from dangers (one of the dreams that i had were him doing magestous cartweels in the air while he was figting something invisible and using weird golden spells to get away, also he was floating and flying and making some cool stuff in the air... probably i'll make am Au abaut it)

But he is also a hero, i look up to him, yea he has his flaws and there are some histories abaur him beeing souless in the fandom, but thats not who i belive that he is, to me he is very positive, resilient and determined. He can also be very forgetfull and selfish in his actions (in some works) but to be honest it is all because of trauma. Or thats what i like to think (other of the dreams i had is were he was playing cards with error and then he asked him why he isn’t destroying anything again, and then Error explaines that the creators were in danger and that they reality was beeing destried by itself anyways, so ink goes into varios words and tryes to save everyting that he culd when he entero a card game were he can be there to make the comunity not die. Will probably make an AU abaut it too)

And i like to see him try his Best to make the multiverse a vetter place, he is there for the comunity aswell
