Ok y'all, this is my lovely dinner, chamomile tea, with lemon, honey, almond milk and some cinnamon. I have some bone broth too. I have been missing for awhile because I've been ill. It started with a bout of diverticulitis, so liquid diet...followed by what feels like pancreatitis....more liquid diet....I need to get to a point where I can digest anything other than liquids. The worse thing is, occasionally I still get really hungry, but if I try to eat I end up in a world of hurt. I have been watching and reading everything I can about gut health and for now I'm just gonna do what I can. I have some keto shake meal replacements, and lots of soups...not many of them are keto but at this point I will go for just being able to eat. I'm trying not to stray too far, but since all of my blood tests show nothing really wrong, my lipase is very very low so they say it's not pancreatitis no one has any clue what to do with me. I HATE tea, but if it will help heal me...I will force myself to drink it one way or another. All while trying to balance keeping my sugar levels low, which as of now hasn't been very easy since I got sick. I had to reevaluate my wants, my goals and what's realistic for me...it's not fun.
