Justice Spell
This doll-spell represents a plea to the universe for justice and protection from one’s adversaries. Obviously, doll-magic may be taken in many directions: it is the plea for justice that prevents this spell from being considered a hex. If indeed, your plea for justice is undeserved, the spell will benefit the adversary instead. Adjust the spell as needed to suit your situation.
On the night prior to the court date, personalize a doll to represent your adversary. (A separate doll is required for each adversary you may have.)
Place the doll atop a clean white cloth.
Dress the doll with a series of condition oils: Command and Compel, Courtcase, Fiery Wall of Protection, and/or San Cipriano Oils. Theoretically at least, the more oils, the more powerful the spell.
Sprinkle crushed vervain over the doll.
Tie a white cotton thread or string around the doll’s waist.
Burn frankincense and myrrh.
Recite Psalm 7 nine times.
Wrap the doll up inside the cloth and hide it in the dark in a discreet and private place.
This is a popular spell. Sometimes reciting the psalm is omitted. Other options for disposing of the doll exist, too: for instance, bury the doll in the ground, far from your home, or bury the doll in the cemetery, or burn the doll and scatter the ashes in the wind.

Communing with Fire & The East Road In Appalachia: "Fire on the Mountain" Protection Oil
The arrival of the Spring Equinox in the Appalachian Mountains heralds a time of transition and renewal, where the earth awakens from its winter slumber and bursts forth with new life. As a traditional mountain practitioner, this shift in seasons brings a change in focus and direction along my crooked path.
Spring is aligned with the energies of the East Road, representing dawn, the rising sun, and the Red Spirits of Fire. It is a time of awakening and transformation, where the chthonic fire of the Red Serpent/Dragon ignites the landscape with its primal energy. The song "Fire on the Mountain" echoes through the hills, carrying the power and vitality of the season.
In the tradition of Old Mother Red-Cap, Spring is associated with power, protection, purification, and defensive magick. It is a time for working with candle magick, solar magick, and tapping into the potent energies of sexuality and desire. The inner flame of witch fire burns brightly, fueled by cunning and will.
The tools and regalia of Spring include the knife/athame (some say wands), symbolizing the cutting away of old patterns and the clearing of obstacles and protection; the broom, representing purification and the sweeping away of negative energies; and the lamp/lantern/candle, serving as a beacon of light and guidance along the path.
As I embrace the energies of Spring in the Appalachian Mountains, may I harness the power of the season to manifest all my desires, protect myself and my loved ones, and walk my crooked path with strength, courage, and cunning.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Fire on The Mountain" Protection Oil:
"Fire on the Mountain" is similar to a Fiery Wall of Protection Oil, which both have protective properties and folk magick associations. Both are rooted in the tradition of creating a shield of defense against negative energy, psychic attacks, curses, hexes, or jinxes.
Fire on The Mountain is designed to establish a barrier of protection around oneself or a space. It serves as a potent tool for defensive magick and is infused with fiery herbs and ingredients, helping to ward off harm and create a sense of safety and security.
As with many folk magick rituals, there are numerous variations of this type of protection oil, each with its own blend of ingredients and methods of preparation. These variations often reflect the unique practices and traditions of different cultural and regional groups. This blend is one from my own personal sources.
Readers Note:
If you decide to use the carrier oils/base oils listed... I suggest sticking to more of a Castor oil base with a few drops of Neem oil blended in for protective & fortifying properties. Neem oil plain stinks and is pricey! Personally, I also don't suggest rubbing this oil on any walls or surfaces that can easily stain...Castor oil is crazy thick and will leave a forever oil stain on any porous surface you apply it to...ask me how I know lol. A "Nailing Down" ritual or protective enchanting of a ward, or candle magick is great for this oil. As always, you are welcome to stick to a neutral base instead if you don't want to use the suggested oils. (Check my "Carrier Oils Post" below for other oils and their properties)
Make sure to ground your Dragon's Blood Resin well before blending. I know Dragon's Blood is wickedly expensive but I will say a little will go a long way. Plus, dragon's blood is one of those ingredients you just can't beat and it stores super well, and for a long time after... the more it's used, the more of a protective shield it creates... think the wall part of "fiery wall of protection". Personally, I like making this oil smell great... so I also include a few drops of Dragon's Blood Fragrance oil. When I sell this oil, the fragrance is one of its most complimented features.
Now for an optional 2-punch combo, you can add a pinch of Sulfur and Ash to your master jar or bottle... Literally just a pinch of each!!!! Too much and it will muddle your oil and the sulfur will have your oil smelling like an eggy fart lol. Also, make sure to use Brimstone Sulfur... you can get it on Amazon. Many gardeners use sulfur for their plants. Sulfur can be used as a baneful ingredient but it is also great protection and a hex-breaker. Ash is used in this oil for the suffocation of any malevolent energy being sent.
You can make this oil with whatever ritual you would like... On a Sunday in the hour of the Sun, On a Tuesday in the hour of Mars, Under a Full Moon in a fire sign, Under the noon Sun, during a fire ritual or ceremony, or just make it with no ritual at all. It's really up to you. The ingredients and herbs have their magick.

2024.07.27 Sorcerous Arts Society reportback 🔮😈🧿
i think we haaaad... about ten folks? several new faces (INCLUDING ANOTHER ROOTWORKER WHO DOES HOODOO FOR HIS JOB), some usual subjects. two attendees had just started estrogen within the past three weeks 😭 one 22-yr-old freshly graduated English major and one 39-yr-old genderqueer (as i understand). what a beautiful world.
in honor of Wrath Month, we set Baleful Magic, Curses, Hexes, and Using Magic to Play Offense as the subject of conversation. I pitched having folks propose a scenario and then different attendees describe a method of approaching it with hexing etc, but nobody really went for that. interestingly we talked a lot about magic as an equalizer against oppressive forces, and also, knowing that The Other Side has access to the same tools we do. Ronald Reagan had a court magician, and a lot of major politicians still cover their bases that way. (see also: Dark Star Rising.) so there's a need to take that sort of thing into account when considering the Hex Trump initiative and similar acts.
coming out of this conversation, we've decided that next month we will talk about Magical Community Defense, in preparation for whatever the fuck goes down in November. considering bringing ingredients for folks to make their own Fiery Wall of Protection oil or something similar. will continue to ponder.
after the discussion (a very lively 2 hours!), we broke official convening. some folks departed, others hung out to trade divination.
I gave two tarot readings and received one (from Rocket, later in the day).
our 22-year-old babytran got some very blunt analysis and suggestions from the Lubanko Tarot. 😬 lots of reversals, lots of stuck situations and not listening to her internal self, with a side of interpersonal conflict and needing to speak up about her pain. I felt bad but she did literally ask and it sounds like the reading was spot on. hung out and talked with her for a while after. she said she was attending out of intellectual curiosity about the occult, that's she's writing an essay. okay bb. 💖
new zoomer townie friend requested "a vibe check for Leo season" and got some guidance about where to put his energy and what to look out for. while giving his reading a starling (which the previous folks at the picnic table had been feeding) landed on me. when it tried it a second time i reflexively karate chopped it out of the air. 💀 sorry for punching a bird.
at home, got a DEEPLY bewildering reading from Rocket's Tarot of the Silicon Dawn, featuring the Queen of Wands, who I don't think I've ever seen before. eventually we determined that she was me in this reading, and after that we were able to make some sense of it, but the cards were not being straightforward! tl;dr there's a harmonious middle space between manic insanity where everything is synchronicity and magic becomes overwhelming, and locked down dead mundanity where magic does not exist. also something about leaning into disappearing into the woods when I want to, being open to leadership in collaborative efforts, and taking stock of what mastery I've gained in this stage of my life and career while contemplating my next move. so you know. crystal clear and focused. lol lots to think about!

Is it bad that I’ve downloaded pictures of premade magical oil bottles so I can use the pictures’ energy to charge my candle instead of buying the oil? Like I’ve downloaded a pic of the fiery wall of protection oil and now I’m pulling energy out of the picture to put inside my white candle.
I don’t usually do this, I mostly just buy the oils but I have too many oils right now that I need to use. Can it be called budget witchcraft or is this just magical oil piracy?

Traditional Red Brick Dust What's It's Used For & How To Make It.
This is an old Southern tradition that's been pass down through generations.
What Is Red Brick Dust? It is one of the most powerful and popular materials used for protecting ones home from spiris and people.
WHERE DOES IT COME FROM? Red brick dust come from the Bible. Exodus chapter 12 verse 11 through 12. Using the art of divadation speaking to the spirits is how they heard about the Angel Of Death was coming to Egypt and the children were told to take the blood from a new unblemish lamb and smear the blood on the door so that the angel of death would pass them and not harm them. But our ansestors in the south cound not get to 1yr old untarnish lambs to sacrifice, so they improvised by using that same scripture and came up with the red brick dust to use.
Now in the south if couldn't get red brick dust they would also use red clay from the earth it is already moist.
What Is It Used For? It is used for protection. But, it's not ment to be used all the time. When smeared on the ground the spirits would pass them by. Just like death did in the bible.
What Kind Of Bricks Should I Use?
The function of red brick dust doesn’t exist because the bricks are red it's how it's is used. So any red brick will do I would suggest a newer brick there easer to crush.
WHEN SHOULD I USE IT? It should be used when you know that you are going to be under spiritual attack. Through divadation (reading) if it it looks like something bad might happen to you or another that when you lay a track down.
How Do I Make It A Traditional Red Brick Dust?
It's very simple traditional there is only three things you will need.
1 A red brick (smashed)
2 Urine (Ammonia)
3 A protection prayer.
That's it. Lay the brick dust down then add some urine and take your broom and smear it and pray.
Your done.
(This is spirit working so you can ask your spirit Guides or Ancestors for guidance.) For me i like to ask for protection from the the Archangels.
Red bricks can be seen all over New Orleans, from the old brick streets to the brick graves in the Cities of the Dead. New Orleans have found a variety of uses for them-- they are the preferred writing implement for marking 3 cross marks on the grave of our infamous Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau.
Remember there are brick dust that practitioners use all over the world what I mentioned above is the traditional way that i was taught.
Here are a a non traditional way in which you can use red brick dust for a simple protection like I do in New Orleans Hoodoo.
Red Brick Dust Candle Spell: Fix Add a pinch of red brick dust to candles for protection, add a little Fiery Wall Of Protection Oil, call apon the archangels for Protection or Safe Travels.

My Digital Grimoire: Spellwork under the Beaver Moon
While I am keeping a physical journal where I'm writing everything down during the process of the spell, I also wanted to go ahead and make a digital copy in case anything happens to the journal. For posterity or whatever. So here we go, my first entry into my digital grimoire.
This spell has to do with my current situation at work: I am unhappy in my current work environment, and I am waiting to be relocated... but I decided to try my hand at giving the process a little boost and hopefully speed things up with some help from the Beaver Moon! I call this the "Get Me Out Of Here!" spell.
"Get Me Out Of Here!" Spell
Intention: Speed up my relocation process at work
Medium: A green candle I chose green as the color correspondence as it is the color most commonly associated with money and career magic in my culture.
Anointment: Peppermint oil Peppermint has many magical properties and correspondences, but in this working, I am specifically calling upon its ability to attract prosperity in matters of money as well as its calming nature to imbue myself with patience.
Ingredients:
Ginger: Strength and speed, self-confidence and success
Basil: Move forward with positivity, attract money and success
Cinnamon: Fiery energy to "light the fire" under the situation and speed things up
Cayenne pepper: Same function as cinnamon but turbo charged on the speed, also repels negativity (note to self: this will be a good ingredient for some Fiery Wall of Protection oil!)
Dried aloe leaf: Protecting myself from being "burned" by the fiery ingredients, create peace and patience in the situation, and also bring success
I wanted to incorporate ingredients that have correspondences to success-- especially in matters of money because this spell pertains to a job situation. I incorporated lunar timing as an "ingredient" of sorts for this spell. I performed it on the night of the Beaver Moon in Gemini (Nov 27 2023) in order to harness the energy of the beavers (hard work, diligence, and transformation) as well as the sign of Gemini (communication, adaptation, and versatility). I also imbued this spell with the element of fire-- not only in the choice of the candle magic medium but also in several of the ingredients-- in order to kickstart the momentum.
Energetic Amplifiers:
The Chariot: This is the tarot card to represent momentum, change, or relocation.
Green Aventurine: Very often used in money and job spells! Associated with prosperity and success.
Sigil Work: I crafted a chaos magic sigil to be charged and activated by being set aflame by the candle. (I won't be showing the sigil or divulging what the power phrase was because a sigil is highly personal and must be created by the practitioner themself. If you choose to use this spell, by all means create your own-- or forgo the sigil entirely if sigil work is not your jam!)
Methodology:
Cast a circle and ground yourself within your sacred space
Light incense and white tea light candles for protection while working
Create and prepare the sigil (I drew my prototypes in my journal before settling on the final design, then I drew the sigil on a small piece of paper to be burned in a later step)
Bless and dress the candle!
Light the candle while speaking aloud these affirmations: "I am happy at my new location. I am thriving in this new environment. I am happy at work. So mote it be."
Burn the sigil to charge & activate it with the candle's flame
Let the candle burn and work its magic! Visualize the desired outcome!
Perform some divination to check for any possible obstacles that might crop up (I used my Moonology oracle deck for this as well as evaluated the candle's flame while it was burning and the way the wax melted during the spell)
Cleanse yourself and your space, close your circle, thank the elements, etc.
???
Profit!
Divination:
I did a very simple 3 card pull for the divination aspect of this working. The first card represents the current status of the situation. The second card represents any potential obstacle I might face. The third card represents the outcome!
First Card: Void-of-Course Moon
The current status is stagnant. Nothing has happened yet, and the whole process is beholden to the red tape of policy. Nothing is moving... yet.
Second Card: New Moon in Scorpio
A phoenix rises from the ashes. Scorpio energy is all about death and rebirth, new beginnings, and reinventing oneself. It also endures hardship. The situation may actually get worse before it gets better or there may be a setback or some kind. However, the intention of this entire spell working is in part an attempt to counteract any setbacks.
Third Card: Third Quarter Moon
An attitude adjustment on my part is definitely needed. Admittedly, I have had quite a negative attitude about my job for some time now due to being in a toxic work environment. In order to get through this situation with grace and professionalism, I need to surrender the negativity and just try to have patience. The change is coming, and I have to do my part to ensure it is a positive change.
Candle Flame & Wax:
While the spell was burning, the candle's flame was tall and bright and burned extremely steady. The air in the room was still, so the flame stood proud and tall and burned without issue, indicating that the spell had a strong and pure energy. The wax was burning cleanly and evenly. However, at a certain point, my home's central air kicked on and created a strong current in the room that affected the candle for a short time and caused the flame to blow toward one side and melt the wax unevenly. I decided to incorporate that into the reading of the candle wax anyway, and this resulted in a large dripping pattern down one side of the candle. It gave me the impression that some kind of "unexpected side effect" may also come about during the course of this situation. Only hindsight may tell me if that was relevant or if it was just a result of some wind in the room, lol.
Closing Thoughts:
I am still a beginner witch, so it will be interesting to look back on this spell after my relocation is finalized and I've settled in to my new routine to reflect on the efforts I put in here! I'll be sure to update this once that comes to pass.
If anyone reading this is also in a toxic work environment and is waiting on a transfer, either to a new location or department within the same company or a transition to a completely new job, and you feel that the vibes of this spell resonates with you, please let me know if you give it a try yourself! Feel free to adapt any aspect of it to suit your own preferences and practice as well. :)
Blessed be!
#grimoire#spells#witchcraft#beginner witch#this is my first digital grimoire entry so please be gentle

The Guardian of Crimson Sights
The Guardian of Crimson Sights
Once upon a moonlit night in Sorenberg, a portrait of a man rested against an ancient dust-laden wall at the end of the cobblestoned alley. Precariously perched on a rusting iron bracket, the dim street lamp cast elongated shadows, breathing an ethereal substance into the painting.
The man in the image was different from your average citizen of Sorenberg. His face, captured in alabaster oils, seemed carved from gleaming white marble, reflecting an ethereal aura that countered the monochromatic landscape well. Yet, the most electrifying aspect was his eyes - a pair of glowing garnets set deep into the sockets, seeming to smolder with an inexplicable ember flame. They could draw any passerby into their captivating grip, asserting a terrifying and entrancing authority.
This was the image of Zephyr, the man with the white head and red eyes.
In Sorenberg, legends echoed through the gabled rooftops and whirled down the labyrinthine lanes. The tale of Zephyr was a bedtime story parents whispered to wide-eyed children, fraught with feverish visions. Zephyr was the whispered guardian, the figure who safeguarded the city from evil and harm. His fiery red eyes were believed to pierce through the darkest knights, peering at the wicked intent hidden in the abyss, and his alabaster skin was said to deflect even the deadliest curse.
However, as time passed, society evolved, and rational science slowly replaced folklore and fairy tales. The tale of Zephyr was now one remembered by few, a memory from a bygone era.
Yet, something about the image hummed with an unspoken reality. Each time the moonlight bathed the portrait, an unmistakable glimmer danced in Zephyr's crimson eyes, softening the surrounding darkness. Born from the artistry of forgotten folks and brought to life by an undying legend, the white-headed man stood as the silent sentinel of Sorenberg. Those red eyes burned fiercely, watching over the city as they had for centuries.
Unseen and unappreciated, they held a secret pledge—a promise of protection and vigilance. So even as the city slept, oblivious to the velvety darkness and hidden threats, one never closed his eyes - Zephyr, the Guardian of Crimson Sights, ever-watchful through the portrait in the cobblestoned alley.

Colour Therapy and Home Painting
Did you know that the colour shades that you select for your walls have therapeutic value? Yes, you can paint your walls not just to decorate your home but also to help you heal and provide a calm ambience. If you want to improve the health of your family members or maybe grab that amazing career opportunity that you have always wanted, then these home colour therapy tips below are the perfect fit for you, is here to not only fill your walls with the trending colours of the year but also provide their special healing touch to your home and your life.
From the colours perfect for the bedroom, the living room, the kitchen and even the bathroom, this article has just the information you will need to be trendy and rejuvenated at the same time.
How does colour therapy work?
Before we move on to the different spaces of your home and how to instil positive energy in them using wall colours, you need to know a bit about how colour therapy functions. Colour therapy provides extra attention to not just the shade of colour that you will use on your walls but also the sort of energies associated with them. For instance, the colour of the sky represents freedom while red signifies passion. Taking all the energies and the auras surrounding the space being coloured also into account, a colour therapy expert will determine which colour will be optimum for a particular home space.
Bedroom
The bedroom is mainly a place for relaxation, healing and sleep. It is also a space for passion and sexual discovery. This idea is crucial to the decision taken by several couples when they paint their master bedroom a shade of red. Do not make this mistake! According to colour therapy experts from around the globe, you should not use overtly bright colours, especially red, in your bedroom. Colours such as red and orange prevent you from having a comfortable sleep, cause arguments and also physically harm those who already have an abundance of the fire element in their auras. It is therefore advised that you go for earthy shades such as beige, pink, clay, peach, brown, sky blue and so on that would calm you down and lull you to sleep.
Living Room
The living space has to be the most attractive part of your home. You receive your guests here. So, it definitely demands a lot of attention. The living space should be able to provide your guests with a vibe of your home as well as reflect what kind of a person you are. So, go for something hybrid – shades of yellow, blue, or green because you might need some vibrant colours to make the space pop a little, mixed with a white backdrop, perfect for intimate discussions and some me-time. On one of the walls, go for wallpaper, wall murals, wall graffiti or maybe even wall doodles that portray what kind of a personality you possess as an individual. This will add a new dimension and incredible charm to your home decor.
Kitchen
As colour therapy experts, we usually tend to advise people to paint their kitchen walls with myriad shades of yellow, red and orange. This provides protection from the soot and oil as well as maintains a fiery element which is the major energy that must be a part of every kitchen. But, too many vibrant colours might not only be irritating for the eyes, but also cause fire hazards if overdone. If you have an open kitchen, it might even look too garish. So, mediate the shades with a mix of a pop of red or orange with some silver, peach, lemon yellow or other whitish tones. Remember that the key in maintaining vibrant energy lies in balance!
Bathroom
Soaking in the tub or taking a shower can wash away not only the grim from our bodies but also provide the rejuvenating energy we need. As a result, experts on colour theory suggest painting bathroom walls with soft shades like white or light blue or sea-green. All these colour suggestions feel soothing to the eyes and will make sure you exit your bathroom a brand new person. You might also consider having some minimalistic floral wallpaper or light-coloured tiles to add some extra oomph to your decor.
Last but not the least, remember a few key colour therapy tips that might come in handy if you plan on looking at a colour catalogue now to make up your mind when it comes to painting the walls of your own home. The rest you can leave to the wall painting experts at #Paintsutra (www.paintsutra.com).
● If you have a small space and want to make it look bigger, go for lighter colour shades. Dark colours constrict spaces.
● Avoid too much red as it excites temper and creates scuffles in the household.
● Orange might be a great colour to handle psychological turmoils.
● If you are healing and seeking therapy regularly, shades of green are the best for you.
● Go for more and more pastel colours in your living space as advised even by Vaastu.
Stay tuned to this space for more wall painting and lifestyle tips!

Norse Pagan "Fiery Wall of Protection" Spell
In Norse Pagan tradition, protection spells often draw upon the strength of runes, elements, and ancestral energies. Here’s a version inspired by these principles: #### Supplies Needed: – Red candle (for strength and protection) – Protection runes (such as Algiz, Tiwaz, or Thurisaz) – Salt (for purification and warding off negative energies) – Dragon’s blood resin or oil (for empowerment and…

Africanistan: The Ultimate War on Terror
Africanistan
“We love our country. But to love it you have to be alive. A corpse has no homeland.”
On an enslaved mass Europe drew cold lines. Millions tangled in exploitation’s cruel dance. The hope for a continent in Barbarian hands, A united, stable Alkebulan a utopian dream.
The General Act of Berlin announced in 1885, Only Ethiopia and Liberia would be spared. Foreign soldiers descend on coastal shores, The latest weaponry blots out Africa’s light.
If trading in its people weren’t brutal enough, Now minerals overflowed in Europe’s dockyards. The conniving aggressors greedy for more, Almost wipe out each other in two world wars.
Post-1945 nations clamor for independence, Communists subverting old colonial rules. America and the Soviets in devilish mode, Instilling their doctrines lit a hellish fuse.
Carnage in Africa, the frontiers unclear, Instability, ethnic conflict and terror ushered in. Popular movements had freedom in sight, Extinguished by a cold war decadence.
The Berlin Wall tumbled and a flicker of hope, Now Africa is courted like a beautiful bride. China’s approach is different from the west Understanding Africa’s worth, they invest.
Excess supply meets unlimited demand, Building roads, schools, bridges and ports. Russia still supply 50% of its arms: Africa seeking fresh prospects anew.
Twelve years ago, Clinton’s emails revealed, Whispers behind closed doors unveiled. Muammar Gaddafi’s vast hidden wealth, Treasure trove of aurum and silver’s stealth.
Nearly one hundred and fifty tons of gold, Knowledge of this secret stash WikiLeaks told. A plan was conceived in the Colonel’s heart, A pan-African currency, a project to impart.
Franco British intrigue craft a motive strong: Oil, boosted influence and reputations to uphold. In Tripoli the embattled streets run red, No-fly-zone, armed clashes and countless dead.
Islamists and Tuareg separatists in Mali, An excess of arms has primed the north grizzly. Thousands have perished, a million displaced, In an endless conflict Mali’s fate defaced.
4,000 of Timbuktu’s manuscripts plundered, Ansar Dyne’s destruction leaves culture sundered. Pick-axed and hammered saintly shrines and tombs, Protecting faith’s purity, the extremists fumed.
Burkina Faso ravaged by relentless perdition. Executions, looting and arson the story. Civilians in the crossfire recruited for militia: Volontaires pour la défense de la patrie.
A coup thwarts another coup’s dark intent, President Captain Traoré standing firm. Jihadist activity distresses the land, Neighbouring countries offer a united hand.
As in Niger, skating on alert’s icy brink, Deposed President Bazoum a bargaining chip. Charged with treason, he’s already condemned, ECOWAS threaten war but their plan is insane.
Twenty-nine dead soldiers in the south ignite, A counter-offensive killing terrorists overnight. Niger taking measures to neutralize the threat, France’s withdrawal cast conspiracies of doubt.
Boko Haram and Jama’at Ahl al-Sunna, Spread fiery rhetoric stoking angst in Nigeria. In the troubled north their dominant sphere, 3.6 million have been displaced.
In Zamfara state the usual tale of woe, Gunmen agitate and lawlessness flows. Many lives lost; sixty villagers snatched, And students wheeled off in pick-up trucks.
In Cameroon, lingering tensions of old, The struggle for language, a tale unfolds, Torturing, killings and arson explodes, Amnesty International raises its voice.
Rebel groups rise, in the bushes they hide, A decade of turmoil, divisions collide. Factories halt and roads broken wide, This anglophone crisis the violence divides.
In Central Africa, where hunger takes toll, Half the population in an arduous hole. To be born and survive is a fragile goal, 8% don’t see their first year of life.
Wagner’s entry and the Rwandans fight, Purged Séléka rebels from the country’s towns. The first in a decade, a calm before a storm, In a region still marred by conflict’s blight.
Congo-Kinshasa remains insecure, Six million displaced as suffering obscured. UN’s future shaky, talks aim to repair, Gender violence haunts, survivors in despair.
Poison of greed smeared diamonds with blood, Minerals fueling war, displacement and hunger. Political solutions urged as elections draw near, UN peacekeepers targeted; challenges severe.
Chad, with oil wealth, yet so impoverished, Bearing the weight of war-torn refugees. 300,000 and counting fled from Sudan, A fragile security, a nation in unease.
Under guise of wiping people’s tears away, The UAE covertly aids with brazen lies. In a remote town of Chad an operation thrives, Weapons and drones for the RSF side.
Hemedti and Burhan, once brothers share, A conflict spurring chaos in Khartoum and Darfur. Bullets, rockets, and the fighter jet’s snare, The devil on horseback returned with flair.
Sudanese Armed Force’s strafing strews panic; Home invasions, bombed hospitals, people can’t go out. The pillaging and the killing systematic – As night fell, death lingers, ready to pounce.
In Ethiopia it seems the madness rages on, Sexual violence and other crimes scarring the soul. Terror in Tigray and now fighting in Amhara, A nation’s recurring agony takes a heavy toll.
Government battle with their former kin, Allied forces turned foes in a war so grim. Abiy Ahmed planned to unite within, But too many militias disagree with him.
Somalian troops have engaged for years, Hide and seek with Al Shabab, left a brutal scar. Thousands have fallen but does anybody hear? Screams and blood sacrifice an endless affair.
A truck bomb in Beledweyne’s town square, Killed 21 innocents sprouting anguish over here. Buildings razed, plenty wounded on the ground, Never-ending turmoil like Black Hawk Down.
Mozambique is a land in flux and dread, An insurgency’s deadly shadow looms overhead. A million displaced in Cabo Delgado’s fright, Another nation struggling as violence excites.
Loved ones beheaded, homes razed to ashes, Men and boys compelled to join armed groups. Livelihoods vanished, education’s lost ground, Healthcare and food scarcity in critical loop.
South Africa’s parliament hall burned down, Tensions with the U.S. begin to install. Naval drills in the Indian Ocean enthralled, South Africa, Russia and China allied.
ANC has past links with these erstwhile friends, USA frustrated and controversy found. Accused of arms smuggling aim to undermine, South Africa’s neutrality in the war in Ukraine.
Changing alliances and strategic coalitions, South Africa chooses in this dangerous game. Africanistan unfurling amid proxy’s friction, Ever-evolving struggles in a global campaign.
Djibouti is a gathering of strange hosts. Military bases for France, Spain and Germany, The United States, United Kingdom, and Italy, Japan and Saudi Arabia: if there’s revolts?
Russia and India seek a presence to be, Thugs guard the continent by land and by sea. On African territory set long-term plans, Colonial frontiers drifting in the sands.
African nations in the Arab League’s clique? Non-Arab lands in a union they sit. A paradoxical blend of conquest and culture, Arabs enslaved blacks so lest not forget that.
What does America bring, a weak dollar’s sway? Backed by the military they print dollars every day. What does Britain bring but a duplicitous role? Preaching democracy, education, and birth control.
The sordid past of Françafrique’s grim view, A fierce dawn breaks and the policy renews. Africa’s roar is a force to be reckoned, Winds of change, chains strained and broken.
For too long held in their pernicious stay, Imposing notions that affect us today. White supremacy’s harshness, Arabian superiority, The darker skinned hue lambasted with no pity.
A narrative marred by such horrible stains, Yet within our hearts, resilience remains. Awakening from this long and troubled sleep, No longer inferior, our dignity we’ll keep.
For we are equal, capable with open eyes, Our brilliance shining as our spirits arise. From depths of subjugation, we’ll break free, A proud united people and strong, we’ll be.
Youth and time is aligned on terrain, The West grows decrepit and demographics wane. Empires decline as the past conveys. Like a sphinx we’ll rise even a millennium away.
So, bear the turmoil Alkebulan my land, Relay this on the hills and shout up to the sky – Proclaim to those seeking to seize our hand, AFRICA RISING, we shall cry again.
