Batman is displeased by this as it feels like he is a stray cat that has been adopted and shown off. He does not like this

Robin made an attempt to get Batman from the strange, rainbow haired man and is now in a devine grade kiddie harness (Ko'jin was delighted to find out his new favorite mortal has a child). He's still processing this

Wonder woman knows Ko'jin won't harm either vigilante, and this finds this whole situation amusing (also knows full well that Ko'jin blessing these two will help keep them safe)

I know we probably have talked about this extensively by now but I just really love how Lucius angrily talked back at fucking Blackbeard for being a dick to Stede in the treasure hunt, fully aware that he might kill him for it. I hope we get to see more of this side of Lucius in S2, I hope he comes back angry. I hope he's the one doing the Kubrick stare at Blackbeard this time.

I spend a disproportionate amount of time appreciating the addition of these four simple words to the "I really wanted to develop these myself…" line in the manga side scene with how much insight they provide the audience into Ray's mindset during this arc.

Greedy people don't pull off successful escapes. Greedy people risk getting their friends killed. Greedy people end up losing everything.

The way he looks at her when he says it, too; tries to make himself both nonthreatening to not invoke her ire or suspicion, yet aware enough to convey he can still competently complete his side of their agreement (along with a bit of pettiness, wanting to believe he has more control of the situation and not wanting to let it seem like she can pull a fast one on him. Knowing what's to come in less than 48 hours is heartbreaking), all while having the most subtle sad and tired tinge to his eyes and subdued grin to mask it.

(Because what if things were different for the two of them. For all of them.)

I get why people like the idea of Chuuya with corruption scars, but I find it so casually devastating that he canonically only has (1) the scars from intensely serious wounds that have reached him despite his ability, which would include Shirase's betrayal and N's torture, and (2) the graphite in his wrist that evidences he had the same spitfire as a child that he has as an adult, that he is who he's always been even without his memories.

Especially in the context of Kafka Asagiri's response to an interviewer asking about change as a theme:

Interviewer: I believe one of Bungo Stray Dogs' themes is that people can change....

Asagiri: I want to correct this a bit because one of the themes of Bungo Stray Dogs I want to stress is that there are things you cannot change about people.... Because of that, there are certainly other ways that character can really shine and stand out. The struggle that many humans have to overcome within themselves is something that is told over and over again in works of literature. I find that it's something that a lot of people can relate to.

I. KNOW. i just keep thinking about how things would be different if dorian had been able to stay or pop in or even just if the sending stones worked. i think there's going to be so much pain and frustration and anger from dorian not necessarily with orym but like. i keep thinking about "no debts between us". and how whether it's internal and how orym is built or because watching the hells lately has put so much weight and responsibility on his shoulders, he's gotten to feel so indebted or something like that so as to make a deal essentially signing away his future with a hag to make up for it. but then there's an empathy there that i don't know the rest of the hells will quite have because dorian made a deal with a betrayer god to keep the crown keepers safe. they're cut from such a similar cloth in that way that i just wonder what kind of... warnings? dorian might have been able to pick up on that have slipped through the cracks without him because orym's been written off as the most stable one of the hells. i just. need to know how dorian is going to react.

My Good Omens fanfictions are kicking off. Or, should I say, Lady Crowley is. In one of the stories, she was supposed to end up with Hastur. No, she decided she wants to be with Michael.

I guess, I'll need to come up with a seperate F!Crowley x Hastur storyline, because I'm not letting go of that ship.

Whatever, Calla Crowley can still end up an astronomy-obsessed, equestrian pastel goth, if General of the Heavenly Host is her stepmother.

I must say... In one story she's with Satan, in the other she'll be with Michael... Lady Crowley, honey, you keep pulling the Olympians. Good for you.

P.S. - I don't know how accurately to Good Omens I'll portray Michael, since I haven't seen season 2, and it doesn't matter. I have a very particular way I like to see the figure. Honestly, if she isn't the General, and the leader of angels in Good Omens, it's a crime. Because, if she is, why haven't I seen her in armour/uniform in any of the screencaps?.. Either way, her version I intend to paint is amazing.
