You were trying to keep it to yourself - the intrigue, the hint of hesitation, the drop of sweat beading down your face. Your bitter tone hid it well; the curiosity under the abhorrence, but you knew it was there. He might’ve been horribly frustrating to be around for more than just his ability to piss you off, the cowboy shtick was annoying but it wasn’t unattractive.

Though the undesirable attraction was becoming more of a nuisance than tyler himself, you still tried to keep your distance. Sighing whenever you’d see that notorious truck drive up past you, scoffing at the grin even while he was turned away from you. Scolding yourself for thinking about what it’d be like under him, on top of him, in his truck ���etc.

You could yell at him all day, point your finger at him and tell him about how stupid and careless he was being, and get even more pissed off when he subsequently finds it amusing.

Curiosity, attraction, hatred, whatever the fuck you were feeling - probably closer to a combination of each of them - you found yourself sweaty and lying on his bed, still trying to argue with him all while your nails scratched into the sides of his arms, keeping him as close as possible.

“That’s right baby, I knew that little prissy attitude shit was just a cover.” He was breathing quick, practically panting over you while you mumbled all about being better than him.

“You’re the worst- you can’t even do your job right, safety should be-“ You continued your rant through his rough thrusts into you, keeping your eyes shut when your thighs squeezed around his hips tighter.

“I know, I know, you hate me.” He cut you off by cupping your mouth with his hand, you would’ve bitten his hand if your mouth wasn’t stuck open, suddenly aware and grateful for the thin line of drool dripping out of your mouth.

“Now why don’t you shut up and let me take care’a this attitude of yours.”

He has no right to look that hot when he was fighting Adam and when he lost against Adam. And when he was losing his mind. GODDD! On the mind 24/7.

LOOK AT THIS MAN! This fight scene was everything for me. HONESTLY SUCH A FIRE FIGHT SCENE! The gasp I had when Adam absolutely slapped Alastor out of the air was so loud XD

I'm so happy he survived. He's too great of a character. Also he's too hot to die. I do love Adam too though. I pretty much love all of the characters in Hazbin Hotel. Both Adam's and Alastor's songs were both bangers.

Look the Transatlantic accent, the morally grey tendencies, the wit, the charm, the radio filter, the suit, the politeness/gentleman ideals and the general tumblr sexyman vibe IS EVERYTHING! I LOVE ALASTOR!

"Friends of Dorothy" by Dee Michel has no business being as good as it is.

For those who don't know, it's a non-fiction book, written by a gay man, that goes in-depth into why so many Wizard of Oz fans are gay men, particularly older gay men. I'm reading it right now and it has a lot of really interesting insights into the "Oz-gay connection" and why the themes in Oz media appeal to LGBTQ people.

While the book is specifically about gay men's appreciation of Oz, I think a lot of Michel's points apply to queer people in general, as well as other groups who feel like they aren't accepted by society. A lot of it is also about the MGM film, but there's some good analysis of the books too. I definitely recommend it.
