isle of enchantment was pretty good. i didnt have high hopes for it but it was alright. im mainly surprised because of how much detail is put into Serena and Billie, since I'm so used to these games barley giving an ounce of attention to the fem romance options.

my main issue is how Rogue's character interaction (for romance) is basically locked behind a pay wall.

its kind of a good thing ig, bc I just speed through the masc romanceable characters to get the game over with, but with him being close to untouchable I was able to spend more time with Billie and Serena. and Chapter 7, when Rogue said he wants to go back home with us I just :/

where did that even come from? was that decision something only behind star options? what chemistry did the MC have with him behind those options that lead to that decision? I'm convinced that anyone who chose that option is swimming in stars, since they obviously got to see a side of him past the flirty shit

im not sure if I was already biased towards Billie and Serena to choose their options more, or if the game literally just kept Rogue interactions away from me bc of my lack of stars, but either way he's just such a meh character because of the lack of quality time the MC had with him

Dorian.live and NixHydra please please please consider making Billie Smee and Scarlett Blackwood from Fictif's Isle of Enchantment a route or consider them being a love interest. If you have the time, please consider it. I can see or sense that these two characters have a story to them as the other characters but we want to know more specifically about these two. I hope you can take it to consideration.

Spoilers for Into The Mist-

Okay so, I read the first chapter for that new story. I stand by my statement of being worried for this story and also thinking Fictif should stick to one story at one time, ect.

BUT!!

This was really cute. And it has sooo much potential. I really hope they don’t screw this up. It is also very reminiscent of IOE, I know they both have the same artist, but the writing style seems similar so they might have the same writer too. I’ll have to check.

The main guy, Fin…I like him. His design is pretty. Though he has that adorable dorkiness that Rouge has. I also love Lou!!! She’s so pretty. And cute, and adorable, and I think you get the point. Though she has the same white strip in her hair that Rouge and Scarlett have in IOE.🤔🤔

And that head elf is…..sus. That’s all I’m saying. He sus. I don’t trust him.

But I love that WE’ER AN ELF. I love that for once the Mc isn’t some misplaced traveler or something. And I’m liking that there seems to be a lot of history between the Elf’s and the Fae which hopefully means LORE!! I love lore.

I really hoping they don’t shove this story into like 6 chapters. Coz like, we don’t really know what’s happening yet. How can you resolve it in 6 chapters if we don’t even know what we’re supposed to be doing, ya know?

Though I really hope, that 1) they give us more than one LI 2) I hope they give us a female LI 3) I hope that they don’t shove all of the LI into one story and don’t give us specific routes unless… 4) they make this a poly story.

And side note: once again, according to the little character boxes featured above the chapter selection, there is more male than female characters (so far). Surprise Surprise

Comme nous l'avons fait pour Sex and the City ou bien Gossip Girl, nous nous sommes clairement prises d'affection pour les 3 héroïnes de The Bold Type, la nouvelle série signée Freeform qui n'a pas lésiné sur les touches girly, connectées et humoristiques. Jane, Kat et Sutton sont trois belles jeunes femmes travaillant pour le magazine Scarlett, l'équivalent fictif du Cosmopolitan US. Il n'aura suffit que de 10 épisodes pour une première saison pour faire battre nos coeurs, nous faire rêver et nous donner envie de les suivre toujours plus loin dans leurs aventures.Seul petit hic, le temps semble déjà bien long pour les série-additcs que nous sommes et Freeform n'a toujours pas annoncé le renouvellement d'une seconde saison. Bon, en même temps, il faut avouer que l'épisode final n'a été diffusé que le 5 septembre dernier. Mais devant le succès international de cette nouvelle série jonglant habilement entre Sex and the City et les codes du Diable s'habille en Prada, on pensait que peut-être... Mais non. Frustration, quand tu tiens.Seulement voilà, en fans assidues et connectées que nous sommes, nous n'avons pas pu passer à côté d'un récent post Instagram sur le compte officiel de la série. On y voit une photo groupée des trois actrices principales. Canon ? Elles le sont mais ce n'est pas ce qui a retenu notre attention. I always replay chapters several times to check all the choices and you know what? When I tried being a coward Carly chose to be a bitch! 😅😅😅

(Honestly irl I'd never take the situation as funny, no matter if it was ab using my blood or someone else's. Nobody deserves to be forsed. I'd probably try to negociate if I happened to be in Scarlett's place)

And damn! I wish I could share my blood easyly like MC did here! This winter I had that damn covid and I knew they were looking for convalescents' blood in the hospital. And when I called them I even wasn't invited for the test, got disqualified after answering questions. I learned the meds I have to use in everyday life make me useless as blood donor. Forever probably. Still feel pretty shitty about it 😷

My thoughts on the newest IOE chapter:

(SPOILERS FOR ISLE OF ENCHANTMENT)

First off, SHE’S SO PRETTY!!!😭🥺 And I’m so annoyed I can’t romance her.

Hi Ruby from once upon a time, nice to see you again. I’m kidding! But I’m also not. First Rouge showing us his wolverine cospay and impression, and now this? Not very original of you fictif.

I kinda saw that coming. I think it’s kinda cliche but it’s too early for me to really make much of a comment on it I think. I’m interested to see where they’re going to go with this.

Also, I’m actually kinda happy that they mentioned periods?? Like none of the other stories have, and it’s very rare to have it mentioned unless it’s to put menstruating individuals down. But I like that they mentioned and didn’t make it weird.

With Scarlett and Rouge’s wolf forms….wth? They’re so boring! If I think of a person who transforms into a wolf, I think of an actual wolf! Not some person with anger issues, pointy teeth, and bone claws. Seriously. I wanna see full on wolf or beast like the wolf in once upon a time, or even the beast from beauty and the beast. Not whatever this is.

Now this! I would like to say: THANK YOU BILLIE FOR CARING! So many times it happens in stories (including in places by fictif/the arcana) where something will happen to the mc, usually traumatic, and it’s not even mentioned? Like everyone (mc included) just magically gets over it? It’s not dealt with or brought up ever again? I’m glad they’re allowing the characters to question things and check in with the mc and offer to let them go home.💕

There was another scene with Hook, but my silly butt didn’t screenshot it (and I was not replaying it just for that). But I am also liking showing the realness of how the mc would react after being attacked, by Rouge no doubt. I have unfortunately experienced my own severe trauma and I know how this sorta thing plays out afterwards and, it’s actually a pretty good representation of that. I hope to see more of that sort of writing, where they actually write mc, as well as other characters, feeling and acting in ways they ACTUALLY would act after a traumatic experience. Now obviously there are areas where the writing could of been better but, it’s a start. Especially as not many books actually draw attention to trauma characters would have, and when they do , they do not write it properly.

Female characters I can actually romance and for more than 5 seconds.🥲😒

I mean I was at first, but now? Not really. It was very anticlimactic & ngl you look and sound pretty boring. I like your ears tho.

I’m still beyond mad at fictif, and I’m mad that there are like 4 women I could be romancing but only 1 of them I can, and I have a feeling I’m gonna be mad at how this ends, but!! I’m actually seeing a bit of promise with this story. Not saying it’s the greatest , but it has a few things about it that are nice and promising. I just hope they don’t fuck it up like they usually do. And this doesn’t make up for anything they’ve pulled coz at this point even an apology isn’t gonna cut it. But either way, I’m actually enjoying it.
