Will there be variations with mc's personality?

Yes!

We will likely have the same general idea as what we did with It Lives Within (gentle, sarcastic, aggressive), but altered a little to fit an IF and a dark academia setting. It’ll likely be a little more detailed, and function as opposing stat bars

Ex:

70% gentle v 30% aggressive

Our goal is to once again make the MC extremely customizable, both in personality and appearance

LOL he’s kind of a lazy dresser… tee shirts, denim on denim, sometimes he layers flannel on a good day… he wears like button downs and nice dress pants to work but now that he’s on the ranch he insists on very ridiculous flashy clothes at inopportune moments

he’s the younger brother of my OH mc, elliot!! he was supposed to be in boston for when elliot finished med school so they could live together while he taught 7th grade us history but then he went rogue and became a full time ranch hand, which… was not great when he essentially left his sister homeless in boston

morning person ! he likes to be up early and is a pretty chipper morning person hehe

he fucking loves dogs ok but ofc can’t have a dog in his apartment ever so he just parents cacti

he wants to say no but also he gets smitten so easily by a charming smile and laugh uwu

cows but he had to get over that very quickly……. does not like elevators and WILL always opt to take the stairs

he’s a hopeless romantic ok….. super into cheesy romantic shit like secret picnics and sending flowers….. only asha knows this because he tries to send bouquets to the general store with goofy cards that have goofy punny pick up lines whenever he can…….. there is no guilt in this btw he just would die if anyone brought it up in front of him cuz he doesn’t want ppl to make a big deal out of it (he is easily embarrassed by everything)

he always wanted to be a teacher actually!! so it was very exciting for him to go and be a teacher in boston but then. he. you know. horse

no but he has faked it to avoid running the mile in gym class. it did not work

no but he like smoked weed in college once and thought the cops would find out and was very afraid of being arrested for this for like three months

So... what exactly happened in villanous?

so basically a new Villainous short got uploaded to Cartoon Network Latin America’s YouTube, third in the series of Black Hat critiquing other CN villains (first he did Lemongrab from Adventure Time then a villain from Mighty Magiswords). this one was Black Hat Vs. Lord Boxman from OK K.O. and was just reuploaded with English subtitles here.

something weird of note about the original upload on CNLA’s YouTube was the video didn’t really have a title, it was just called “Villainos | Cartoon Network LA” which is what the video containing all the first wave shorts is called

supposedly Black Hat himself is the one who took it down, according to a strange video message left on Alan Ituriel’s Twitter. there was a secret website that we found links to in the first 2 videos (which is also gone now) that suggested somebody was spying on him, so it looks like he finally noticed.

I have no idea what’s going on now but I’m excited nonetheless!

i think river (ame), nicky (bsc), and thalia (ilitw) are dumbasses and that’s bc river & nicky both got that sweet enthusiastic puppy personality except river’s bad at playing reality show games because she thinks the best of people 100% always and nicky’s never done manual labor a day in his life so this whole farm thing? whack

thalia’s stupid because ilitw mc is a reckless impulsive teen and i love that rebellious teen stupidity

&& roe mc/Katie was dumb but disclaimer i genuinely adore her. because she’s a hopeless romantic! it was her greatest strength and her greatest weakness! right up to when the rose-colored lenses got shattered. her unconditional love of love was... simultaneously beautifully optimistic AND truly foolish and i LOVE THAT

ofc tho i’m interjecting my own thots and headcanons cuz the mcs in choices run a fine line of ambiguous/likeable/set personalities but also give us a lot of room to write our own ideas and flesh out mc however we’d like. i’m absolutely off on a tangent now but anyways. i’m always calling every mc a dumbass because at least once mc exhibits some version of dumbass behavior. stupid bitch energy. straight up tomfoolery. it’s not a defining trait but it’s absolutely there haha

u didnt specify which character so i’ll assume u meant all 3 (david, carrie and ben) haha

all 3 of them live in a 3 bedroom apartment provided and paid for by a mysterious benefactor, all with none of their family’s there hmmmm. so after they’ve all warmed up to each other and became friends:

ben & carrie - ben thinks carrie is a pretty lazy person at but after he sees her put her mind into something she really cares about then he realizes that she is the smartest person in the world also maybe the craziest, he puts a lot of faith in carrie because he knows she’s always doing what best for them. Carrie likes ben, he was the first person to actually listen to her crazy theories, while he often tries to poke holes in her theories she appreciates him reason, it also likes watching him sigh in frustration when her crazy theory is right and she gets to give this really smug grin that he hates, she puts a lot of trust in ben and ben despite her usually untrusting nature, she will also make a face whenever ben makes a really bad pun but if it looks like ben was really proud of it shes gonna pretend to laugh at least.

carrie & david - David sometimes gets annoyed with carrie because she doesnt want to be popular nor does she care about her public image, which is a big problem since her him and david r usually together so that negatively impacts him, he cant deny how fun she is when she gets into one of her crazy theory moods though so he goes along with it especially when it involves stuff like planning to catch the jersey devil in an elaborate trap. For Carrie she likes having a partner in crime during her little stints so thats a plus for her, she does think david is way too loud especially when she’s just trying to chill and nap.

ben & david - Ben gets annoyed with david and thinks he’s a showboat and a loudmouth, still david is one of his friends and he knows david genuinely cares no matter how many times david says he’s waiting to trade carrie and ben for the popular kids, they never actually fight but david is always saying things like “fight me ben” but ben just like looks at the camera. David gets annoyed at bens nagging about cleaning up after himself, he likes it when he’s able to convince ben to help him with some of his plans to get with the popular kids cuz it reminds david that ben no matter how angsty he looks is still a normal kid, will often insult ben but with no real malice behind the words but he will groan in pain when ben makes a really bad pun.
