So I’ve been wanting to do some FFXV art and figured a silly lil pic like this would be a good way to kick of my blog expansion. Tried to make something kinda cartoony and im thinking about coming back to color it when i have more time in the day.

also i did recently play most of the game in step, so i did most of this plan and it really changed how i experienced the story, i dont know if id recommend this for a first play but this really brought ffxvs story out chronologically, so for my ref and also if ur curious:

all trailers -> play game until insomnia falls -> platinum demo cutscenes -> brotherhood anime (with added luna scenes) -> parting ways prologue audio drama -> kingsglaive movie -> game until duscae -> episode duscae cutscenes -> moogle festival -> assassins creed festival -> game until gladio leaves -> gladios dlc -> game until altissia -> ignis dlc first route -> game until prompto leaves -> promptos dlc -> game until chap 13 noctis route main save -> reload save and play gladio and ignis’ route on another save -> main save game until crystal -> episode ardyn -> game until ending and credits -> ignis dlc second route -> then come back to ffxv postgame content (the best gameplay in the game) -> and then dawn of the future novel (in english soon). theres also a game about regis telling noctis bedtime stories (a kings tale) and goes into the first journey regis and his crew take but its not that great. cute though

okay yeah actual reply: legit i fucking love this game i could talk about it for literally hours and days on end. I LOVE THAT U LOVE IT!!! its very endearing to me and whenever i play it makes me smile like a loon its very funny and sweet and always cheers me up. and then it literally clobbers you just when youre not taking it all that seriously and ive been obsessed with it ive been thinking about it so much for literally a year. I KNOW IM SAYING THE SAME THINGS XKJFDXFJG its just how i feel omg i just hope you have so much fun with it!!! its a game thats great to sink hours into and if youre at all invested in the story there is a richness there if you wanna go hunting for it (which i do unfortunately i love it)

This started as a way to test this model set as I worked on texturing it without having to deal with putting it in the game. Then the idea evolved, and, well, here we are. Libertus at dawn. I had a few ideas for the backstory to this, and was meaning to settle on just one, but in the end decided it was better to leave open-ended. Which dawn is this? Might be the dawn right after the movie, once he got out of the city and into Leide. Or it might be Dawn. The new Captain of the Kingsglaive with no King left to fight for, reflecting on what the last ten years brought and changed and how to move forward. How do you move forward after something like this? And what good is Dawn when it brings none of the lost friends back? I'm an absolute sucker for Libby, can you tell? Started drafting out my first ever charms for the FFXV Chocobros.  Of course they will still need some adjustments as I work through it.  Tonight we’re going to be screen grabbing better refs of their outfits to make sure they are accurate.

Meet Pryce

This is complied from conversations with @lattehappy making HC and information for mt Lovely FFXV OC

Tldr lore: family got him and his little sister out of crown city. They didnt make it out during the day light so daemons attacked them, little sister died to the daemons to save her brother so he could get to the camp sight.

He has like a very country accent. So when he mocks ignis it sounds even more silly cause hes trying to sound sophisticated

Like he exaggerates every syllable and ignis is just dying internally ike “ please stop” Taking turns imitating eachother I REPEATING TAKING TURNS IMITATING EACHOTHER

I know atleast with noctis  Pryce sort of idolized him. More so his family taught him to do so. So its kinda awkward between them for a while before Pryce gets over the royalty thing

Oh so like at the beginning with noct he’s always calling him “your grace” “my prince” etc while noct is like “dude stop were bros were cool” xD

Pryce tries hard to prove himself to gladio to stick around with them, that he wont be dead weight. So hes kinda like a rival. After he earns his trust they become more teacher student Oh so with gladio Pryce is his  grasshoppa (karate kid ref xD) and Gladio is like “meh” and after awhile of making him do hard work he makes Pryce do pointless exercises to leave him alone when he goes overboard xD

Way 1 is the romantic one. Prompto was the one who found him and immidiently accepted him. He slowly starts to fall for him but hes good at hidinf it, and hes fully aware of his crush on cindy. So he suffers in silence while indirectly doing things above and beyond for prompto cause he wants him to be happy

Way 2) goes mostly the same but Pryce dosent fall in love and they become the 3 musketeers with noctis. Always breaking away from ignis and gladio to have some vanilla fun out in the neighboring towns or rest stops near camp

Pryce and Prompto chillin under the stars with the chocobos and prompto starts to spill his heart. Ofcourse Pryce would do everything in his power to make his crush happy even if it took all night.

NOCTIS QUESTIONS WHY PRYCE IS SO TIRED  AND PRYCE IS LIKE “oh nothing, just woke up on the wrong side of the chocobed” TRYING TO PLAY IT OFF LIKE A JOKE. TO KEEP PROMPTO INSECURITIES SAFE WITH HIM HE CAN TELL THEM WHEN HES READY. GOOD FRIEND GOOD FRIEND

Technice: Okay so like Pryce fires three or five shots and after every arrow lands, noctis follows each one in succession, each hit becoming a little more powerful until he lands the final blows that also affects those around the target Okay! I got an idea for a link-strike for noct w/ sword! :D So like noctis has the enemy pinned with his blade, looks to Pryce and Pryce runs up quickly on nocts back and shoots the target while in midair and lands opposite of noct and throws his fist up like “yeah!”

Oh I got another idea for a link strike: so like noct is about to smash the enemies but Pryce comes in, throws his hand it front of noctis and deals the blow while noct looks at him “like dude I could’ve done that” and Pryce just laughs

Can also attack with just his arrows like melee.

Choice color of chocobo: soft pink

Keepz his hands to himself when they first meet, but gets as dorky and touchy feely as the others as time goes by.

Favorite food: (so simple) rice balls

Nickname: pretty boy, princess

I have an idea for getting out of the car banter like when they get out noct says “hey Pryce maybe they got your beauty products here” all teasingly and Pryce is like “oh haha.” In a really annoyed voice xD

Aerial Blitz Okay so Pryce shoots 3 like arrows in the air and noctis uses his warp to get to them and slam them down on the enemies kinda like lances ! And its really powerful against demons

Okay okay so the first night you spend with Pryce he sleeps outside and when they wake up and see hes outside resting theyre all questioning him why he didnt go in.

The 2nd time ignis urges him to come in and he dosent budge. So ignis gives up cause he dosent need to deal with this

The 3rd time noctis more or less drags him inside the tent. More for his well being then anything cause its cool out and getting a cold is bad.

4th time prompto flat out tells him to come on in cause kingsknight and they fall asleep inside the tent when they get tired.

Lastly when Pryce tries to sleep outside again. Pryce gets picked up in gladios arms (prompto takes a picture of it) and throws him in the air to wake him up (takes a pic of that too) and tosses him in the tent and they all proceed to laugh at Pryces dismay and expression before hes indirectly forbidden from sleeping outside.

Pryce: alright ya’ll. I have your outfits done come and get them

Noctis: chuckling.

Gladio: talk about a thick accent

Prompto: i thought ignis was out there.

Ignis: there is nothing wrong with our accents.. - Gladio: hey Pryce

Pryce: whats up?

Gladio:  could you mend something on my shirt

Noctis: what shirt?

Ignis: what shirt indeed. - Ignis: noctis i see you finally sew that button

Pryce: i actually did that…

Noctis: i asked him to do it.. politely. -
