knight

knights are easily the most creative pieces on the board, able to move in unique ways and get to places no other pieces can go. they’re complex, fiddly, cocky little shits who leap over any obstacles in their path and laugh while doing so. knights are useful for creating difficult situations, or tangling players up in problems of their own causing. they’re incredibly difficult to pin down, and are just as likely to get you in the shit than out of it. knights as individuals are unique and creative thinkers, able to think up solutions and ideas that would escape others. witty and charismatic, they are the light of every social gathering, the one friend who always has a ridiculous story to tell. forever going boldly where none have gone before, they do so at their own risk – for overconfidence is the peril of the knight, and though they’re constantly overleaping, they should be wary of jumping too high.

It does fit with Kell, perhaps a bit too much considering the normally rigid association with the knight.

My answers!

Midlanders: Oddly enough, the race she is primarily most comfortable with outside of certain pockets of her own. She tends to gravitate more towards midlander men when it comes to attraction. Highlanders: She feels safe around them. They're straightfoward --much more straightforward than she is. She doesn't really understand all this drama surrounding Ala Mhigo -- and why some care and others don't? Either way, she's yet to meet a Highlander that isn't strong. 

 Lalafell: Honestly? She wishes there were more around. One of the first encounters she ever had outside of her clan was with a lalafell. They're really sharp-witted and always keep her on her toes. She finds she's better off for having them in her life. Woe to those who don't take them seriously. 

Roegadyn: It's been quite some time since she's kept the company of a roegadyn. While some are frequently in good humour, there is always a tempest bubbling beneath, and she takes care not to set them off. She can't help but notice that they often keep to their own sorts -- and it makes her wonder why. She does tend to let her hair down more readily around roegadyn - they know how to have a good time. 

Miqo'te: Buckle up. Framboise loves miqo'te women. In spite of her avoidance of her own family, she has a natural inclination to gravitate towards miqo'te women and offer them her immediate and unequivocal support. She's had more positive interactions with Seeker women -- often falling into a comfortable big sister/little sister role of mentee with those in her past, whereas with Keeper women she tends to take a more caregiving/doting role. Miqo'te men, on the other hand -- she tends to take Keeper men on a case-by-case basis. She's had the occasional romance with a Keeper man here and there (though she tends to get involved with much older Keeper men) but has had nothing but unwelcome advances from Seeker men - and thusly holds a bit of a distaste for them. 

Elezen: Either especially friendly and unintimidating, or Ishgardian. They are a very proud people, she finds -- and sometimes that pride is merited, but other times, she feels they're simply putting on airs. 

Au'ra: The RBF of au'ra men, in particular, scares Framboise. She's had two almost-relationships with raen in her past, but both were especially transient, particularly after she was able to finally get past their hard outer shell. Au'ra women, on the other hand, are considerably easier to interact with. They tend to fall into some manner of extreme with their personality - extremely cold and snobby, extremely silly, or extremely incompetent. 

Viera: So very mysterious~she's only run into a few, and their immediate kinship with each other tends to make her more curious than self-conscious--but they are certainly the exotic 'other' in her eyes and the admiration she holds for them is almost entirely superficial. She considers them 'too cool for her' and seldom makes attempts to get closer to them, as she imposes upon herself an immediate inferiority complex. 

Hrothgar: The few experiences she's had with them have been extremely positive. She's found that in all her business dealings, they often make for the best engineers and tinkerers. Why? Do you know one looking for work? She'll pay premium!

Does your OC often reflect upon their own mortality? Is it something which they fear?

I picked a bad day to stop drinking hi-ethers.

She came in to my office, 8 foot of Roegae-dame with legs for days. Said she had a job for me: Her husband had gone missing.

I knew the job smelled funny from the start but I wasn't in a place to turn down work. It was my first case in weeks, honest or otherwise, and I was deep in debt with a lalafell mobster name'a Robobbin Dabanks. In fact he just darkened my door 3 hours earlier with a handful of his best goons, MCHs all of them, packing enough heat to burn down Orbonne Monastery in a hail of gonnefire. If I didn't pay him soon, I'd be taking in the fresh air at the bottom of the waters of The Source in Lakeland.

Turns out the Dame's man was also in deep. Seems he'd fallen in with a bad crowd: The Aliapoh family. You've never met a more ruthless gang of rum runners and extortionists.

Time was running out, but the only question was whose: his or mine?
