IT IS FINISHED !!!!!! Character splashes for the Main 7 and a bonus 2 from the side squad (Gemmini and Malta)

These were a lot of fun (and work, but less hard once I had the base template set up) and I think I managed to nail down their vibe without a bunch of letters ;v;'

Also; all the images here were taken by me! With the exception of Tangy, who uses the Mother Crystal image from the Wiki, Mochiie, who uses an HD image of the Eorzean world map, and Ishi’li, who uses a background from The World Ends With You. I even got my own job icon transparencies by taking pictures of the stickers on a black background and cutting them out

Ishi was prattling on about something in their inn room, more than used to filling the silence and knowing Kizuna preferred it and was always listening. His presence was elsewhere, until it suddenly wasn't- heat radiating against her back like a low fire as she jumped at the touch. His forehead pressed against her shoulder, hands reaching before they twitched back to hover uncertainly around her. Ishi could feel the hotness of his breath as he exhaled a frustrated-sounding huff. "Kizuna....? What's wrong?" She asks, voice soft as she reaches back to pet his hair, soft and fluffy and still free from their recent visit to the hot spring. She can hear-feel the way his teeth grind together before another hot sigh seeps into her sweater, fluffy white ears pinning back in the corners of her vision. Ishi waits- ears swiveled back to listen while her eyes watched his hands. It took a while, Kizuna's hands moving wordlessly before they both synced up. His middle fingers come forward, hands flicking in her direction and back again before he clenched his hands (More uncertainty- not a sign-). Ishi can feel him lean against her a little further, the next sign more shy as he crooked one pointer finger a couple times.

Kizuna has lots of trouble initiating touch himself, even well into their official relationship when Ishi touches him freely.

I actually really like writing sign, as difficult as it is sometimes. Kizuna is so expressive in his body language it's a much more accurate way for him to communicate as well as being more comfortable for him.

He also asks questions like this a lot, especially ones he's anxious about. It reads as rather "cute/shy" to me, since he just signs one word [TOUCH] and then indicates that he's [ASK]ing a question, the second sign always very small.

I do use brackets to indicate that [Kizuna is signing,] but its just in replacement of "someone is speaking," and I write it out as it would be translated as opposed to what he's actually signing. It's mostly for rp purposes to keep my thoughts organized, and to know if someone is using sign immediately rather than typing X signs, every time.

What are you WEARING?" "Primal protection! Can't get tempered through this helmet, it's certified allagan steel- or so the merchant told me. I can help you guys fight Primals now!"

Anyways remember aaaages ago when I said Tangy wears a helmet to prevent tempering? (she has the echo, she just doesn't think so, don't try this at home)

There's a braincell but Keathan's the only one with it, and they're tired. Everyone's split up to go find more people, though! Wonder who they'll find....

I DID IT! Group shot with the squad. :3 Closeups and sillies under the cut! Posing so many actors is always a challenge especially all touching/close together but I think I nailed it with all the little details and everything ^u^

From left to right it's- Chuu, Levraut (in red), Colette, Tangy, Ishi'li (Miqo'te), Mochiie, and Tuesday

Lev I think has gotten more comfortable- maybe too comfortable? Tangy thinks it's a riot and he's just trying to make sure Chuu doesn't isolate herself too much. and. Also laying across Colettes lap is a bonus...

The fellas are having some sorta group reading! I have no idea what book this is- maybe it's something Lev wrote about the WoL's? Or maybe it's a story from back in Thavnair that Mochiie read growing up- either way I think they're having a good time :3

So for ISHI, because somehow I know how Kizuna felt better than how Ishi felt- (oops, the reason this took so long as that I was having to pin down the my side of things, haha!) - they didn’t start really catchin’ proper feelings until, like. Heavensward. And they didn’t talk about it! Shit was happening- there was a war, and Kizuna has this whole, personal business, they’ve kept each other at vague length and then they’re sharing a room together (in the Fortemp’s Manor) and there was only one bed

There wasn’t really any particular ‘Oh’ moment that I can think of, despite having racked my brain- it’s a lot of small things, I think? He’s strong and capable, they fight well together, Ishi picks up Astromancy to cover their healing blind spot because they can’t Scholar (their aether too thin to summon, haha. 😳)

Speculatively 😉 Ishi tries to ask Kizuna out first officially, in Shadowbringers. After Kizuna’s taken on His Majesties Light… when the night floods Il Mheg and it’s so beautiful.. there’s dancing, and celebrating, and. Kizuna asks, in sign, for them to wait. Until he can say it back and mean it. (Every word, but the Light Aether is corrupting his body, slowly, slowly. His face a solemn immobile mask, his fingers smooth, cold marble, his emotions blotted out. He keeps going on Devotion To The Cause and his own commitment to what he thinks his old self would do.) :’) So

When everyone is safe! When the Crystarium is celebrating! When the night is back for good, and there’s drinks late into the night, these two idiots sneak off to one of the towers where it’s quieter and have a real proper confession there ;v; ……… speculatively ;)

Well of COURSE Ishi's fave pair of kicks are the ones they paid [loud coughing obscuring an obscene number] for ! They're street fresh, Garlean synthetics at their finest, and best of all, his socks somehow never get wet in them. His other favorite shoes are... uh....
