Nero and Cid best friends rivals under the sea and two retired soldiers resting on the volcanic rocks because toasty warmth is nice for old wounds.

require consuming a human heart to transform and the change itself is very painful

cannot speak while in this form

can keep the form as long as she goes back to the ocean every night i.e. “you only get one night upon the shore”

thus if she stays on land overnight and doesn’t return to the sea before dawn she (dies? Gets stuck as a human?)

being on a ship kind of rules-lawyers this part since she’s not really on land
