Final Fantasy Record Keeper Labyrinth Dungeons Clears Part 2
In the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game, there are still a lot of fights in the Labyrinth Dungeons that I have yet to clear.
After hearing the news that Final Fantasy Record Keeper was gonna end its service on September 29, 2022 (I talk more about that in another post), I wanted to finish as much of FFRK’s content as I can.
I know it doesn’t really matter, but still. For now, I don’t want to say goodbye to Final Fantasy Record Keeper yet. Heck, I wish this game didn’t have to end, at least not anytime soon.
Anyway, so I started going through the Labyrinth Dungeons, checking each quest and looking to see which ones I’ve already cleared. Will try to do the ones that I haven’t cleared yet. Also trying to see if I can sub-30 these fights.
Labyrinth Dungeons Info
The Labyrinth Nexus fights in the Labyrinth Dungeons come in 2 quest levels - 580 and 650.
There are fights that require you to bring a Final Fantasy realm team and fights that require either physical or magical elemental teams.
Labyrinth Nexus S4, Part 3 Info
The boss of this fight is called Taharka. Final Fantasy 9 chars get Record Synergy for these fights.
Depending on the number of chars with Record Synergy in your party, your chars will be able to deal more damage and the damage that Taharka deals will be lessened.
If you bring a char with no Record Synergy (a.k.a an off-realm char), their damage will be reduced. Having at least 4 FF9 chars is recommended for this fight.
Quest Level 650 Taharka Fight
The first time I tried clearing the quest level 650 Final Fantasy IX Taharka fight was a long time ago.
And the only reason I bothered to take on this quest back then was because we got a Labyrinth Dungeons campaign. This included time-limited missions that required players to clear some of the Labyrinth Dungeons quests in order to get some rewards.
For this fight, my team was:
Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy IX
Kuja from Final Fantasy IX
Eiko Carol from Final Fantasy IX
Vivi Ornitier from Final Fantasy IX
Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII (#ad)
Zidane, Kuja, and Vivi served as my DPS. Eiko was my healer. Cait Sith was my support and buffer. He can heal too. He’s the premier support for mages and mind-based attackers.
Kuja and Vivi deal magical damage while Zidane deals physical damage. Kuja’s element is dark, Vivi’s is lightning and ice, and Zidane’s is wind.
It’s been a long time since I did this fight so don’t remember all the exact details about how it went anymore. But IIRC, when I took on Taharka, only had 1 Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB) for Zidane. Now I have 2.
For Vivi, had his ice and lightning AASB and his ice and lightning Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB). Now, IIRC, I also have his fire AASB.
For Kuja, only had one of his AASB. Now I also have his Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB).
For Eiko, IIRC, had her Sync and now also have her AASB. For Cait Sith, have all of his most relevant relics, including his Sync and AASB. Honed his AASB to the max so it can be used twice per fight instead of just once.
Since my Final Fantasy IX realm team was so lacking, wasn’t really surprised that I failed to win against Taharka. At least I actually managed to get pretty far. Was able to get Taharka down to 54.1% HP before all my chars died.
IIRC, this was enough to get me some of the time limited rewards associated with this quest. You get all the rewards if you beat Taharka.
If you’re able to deal at least 30% or more damage to Taharka, then you get 1 Realm/Elemental x11 ticket. If you’re able to deal at least 60% or more damage to Taharka, then you get 1 mythril.
After that, my plan was to wait until I can get more and better relics before trying this fight again. Unfortunately, never got ‘round to taking on Taharka again. And now I’ll never be able to because it’s all over now.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper just ended its service. Was hoping to be able to try the Taharka fight again before the end but unfortunately, wasn’t able to.
Labyrinth Nexus S3, Part 5 Info
The boss of this fight is called Hell House. Final Fantasy VII chars get Record Synergy for these fights.
Quest Level 580 Hell House Fight
I’ve already cleared the quest level 580 version of the Final Fantasy VII Hell House fight before. I talk more about that in another post.
Then we got another Labyrinth Dungeons campaign. This happened way before FFRK gave its end of service announcement. And this was different from the campaign mentioned above with the Taharka fight.
Anyway, one of the time-limited missions for this particular campaign wanted us to master 2 Labyrinth Nexus fights with a difficulty of 580 in order to get 1 mythril.
Since I’d already cleared the quest level 580 Hell House fight, I would have preferred to try a different Labyrinth Nexus quest but - well, it’s been a while so don’t remember anymore exactly what happened.
Maybe I didn’t have enough time to try out a different fight. Maybe I just felt like doing the Hell House fight again. Whatever the reason, I ended up taking on the quest level 580 version of Hell House again.
My team was:
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII
Vincent Valentine from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Genesis served as my main DPS. Sephiroth and Vincent were my secondary ones. Barret was my support and buffer although he can deal a bit of damage as well.
He and Vincent were also in chage of lowering the enemy’s resistance to the fire element so my DPS can deal more damage.
Aerith served as my healer. She can also speed up the party and reduce the delay of their physical attacks.
Genesis, Sephiroth, Barret, and Vincent deal physical fire elemental damage. Well, Sephi has dark relics too but I’m using him as a fire DPS for this fight. My plan is to only use his dark-type Soul Breaks once I’ve already used up all of his fire BDL relics.
Vincent is a hybrid DPS so he can deal either physical or magical damage depending on how he’s geared and which stat is currently higher.
Have multiple BDL relics for the aforementioned chars. And my Final Fantasy VII Historia Crystal is at the max level of 120.
Since this fight is only quest level 580 and since my FF7 realm team is pretty stacked, this battle was pretty easy. Was able to get the win in 26.75 seconds.
Don’t remember anymore what other Labyrinth Nexus I did but I was able to get the mythril reward for mastering 2 quest level 580 fights.
Labyrinth Nexus S2, Part 1 Info
The boss of this fight is called Snow Giant. He is weak to the fire element. There are 2 versions of him, one that’s weak to physical fire and another that’s weak to magical fire. Well, there are 4 versions of him if you’re also counting the 2 quest levels.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 580 Snow Giant Fight
Decided to take on the physical-weak, quest level 580 version of Snow Giant with the following team:
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Balthier (Ffamran mied Bunansa) from Final Fantasy XII
Balthier served as my fire Chain Soul Break (CSB) holder. Didn’t need him for the Hell House fight since we can just use the Final Fantasy VII Roaming Warrior realm Chain. Also have Barret’s FF7 Chain if needed.
Balthier deals physical fire damage and he can help imperil the fire element. Aside from his Chain, also have a few of his Soul Breaks, including one of his Awakenings.
Did this fight a few days or so before the end of Final Fantasy Record Keeper. By then was really rushing and trying to finish as much of FFRK’s content as possible.
I really wish we had more time so I’d have been able to do more. As it was, unfortunately wasn’t able to finish everything in FFRK. I talk more about that in another post.
Anyway, was able to clear the quest level 580 Snow Giant fight in 25.80 seconds. Just like the quest level 580 Hell House fight, the quest level 580 version of Snow Giant was pretty easy.
And my physical fire elemental team is really good. By now, also have new relics for some of the chars on my fire team. And they all have their Hero Equipment and Hero Abilities and such.
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Relics and Stats List
Currently, Genesis is my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy VII char. He’s the reason why I started playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper. Have all of his relics and he’s as fully built as possible.
True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), LOVELESS
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF), Light of Doom
Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB), Purgatorial Wave
Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB), Genesis Rhapsody
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB), SOLDIER’s Epic
Ultra Soul Break (USB), Apocalypse Genesis
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Epic of Creation
Glint+ Soul Break 2 (G+2), Epic of Heroism
Glint Soul Break (G), Epic of Destruction
Default Soul Break, Laceration
Legend Materia 1, Rhapsodic Recitation
Legend Materia 2, Project G Creation
Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Fierce Opposition
Since the game was about to end already anyway, went ahead and fully honed all of Genesis’s Soul Breaks that can be honed instead of waiting until I get more dupes. I talk more about that in another post.
Other than that, Genesis is already fully maxed out in every way. Well, except with regards to his Magia Crystals. But that’s always been a slow-going process.
I thought that I’d always have time and that I’ll eventually be able to max out all of Genesis’s Magia Crystals but unfortunately, now that FFRK is ending soon, that’ll never happen anymore.
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII Relics List
Have the following relics for Sephiroth:
Limit Break Chain (LBC), Woven Bond: Sephiroth - Dark
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF), Dark Illumination
True Arcane Soul Break 1 (TASB1) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break 1 (ADSB1), Super Nova or Sunburst
TASB2, Jenova
Synchro Arcane Soul Break 1 (SASB1), Demonic Lord
SASB2, Crimson Octaslash
SASB3, Dark Carmine Blade
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Stigma
AASB2, Underworld Guardian
AASB3, Flames of Nibelheim
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break 1 (AOSB1), Setting Sun
AOSB2, Purgatorial Flames
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Heartless Angel
USB2, Zanshin
USB3, Crimson Lotus
Overstrike Soul Break (OSB), Heaven’s Light
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Shimmer Flash
G+2, Fervent Shadow
Glint Soul Break (G), Jenova’s Might
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), Reunion
BSB2, Octaslash
Super Soul Break 1 (SSB1), Black Materia
SSB2, Transience
Unique Soul Break, Nibelheim Nightmare
Unique Soul Break, Hell’s Gate
Unique Soul Break, Shadow Flare
Default Soul Break, Oblivion
Legend Materia 1, Fallen Hero
Legend Materia 2, Jenova’s Echo
Legend Materia Relic 1 (LMR1), Fateful Secret
LMR2, Apocalyptic Hero
LMR3, Cruelest Cut
LMR+, Refinement (Sephiroth)
Yeah, I have basically all of Sephi’s relics. The only one I’m missing for him is his Dual Awakening Soul Break 1 (DASB1), Awoken Octaslash. I really hate that I wasn’t able to get this.
And it’s definitely not for lack of trying. When Sephiroth’s Dual first showed up in Final Fantasy Record Keeper, I tried pulling for it.
I talk more about that in this post, but the main point is that, sadly, no matter how many times I pulled on the banner said Dual was featured in, was never able to get it.
Went 10 pulls deep on that banner, spending hundreds of mythril, until I was all out, and yet I couldn’t even manage to get all the relics featured there.
Was really frustrated and annoyed about that. Still am, really. Eff the crappy, trashy rates on this game. And now that FFRK is ending, I’ll never be able to get Sephiroth’s Dual. Sigh.
Aerith Gainsborough Relics List
Have the following relics for Aerith:
Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB), Awoken White Materia
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Star Pulse
AASB2, Planetary Pulse
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Hidden Bloom
USB2, Innocent Cure
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Refreshing Breeze
G+2, Star Whisper
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), White Materia
BSB2, Prayer of Salvation
Super Soul Break (SSB), Pulse of Life
Unique Soul Break, Planet Protector
Unique Soul Break, Fury Brand
Unique Soul Break, Dragon Force
Unique Soul Break, Healing Wind (VII)
Default Soul Break, Seal Evil
Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Flower of the Slums
Legend Materia 1, Daughter of the Ancients
Legend Materia 2, Motherly Protector
Was able to get all of Aerith’s relics, all except for her Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB), Blue-Eyed Sentinel. Too bad I was never able to get this before. And now I’ll never be able to because the game is ending already. Sigh.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 650 Snow Giant Fight
After taking on the quest level 580 version of Snow Giant, decided to try his quest level 650 version next.
I’d already tried this fight before. It was a long time ago, and IIRC, also only did so because there was another Labyrinth Dungeons campaign. This one included time-limited missions that required players to clear the Snow Giant quest.
Wasn’t able to get the win back then though. Only managed to deal 80.3% damage to Snow Giant before the fight ended. IIRC, my team was Genesis, Sephiroth, Barret, Balthier and Aerith.
Unsurprisingly, that was also my team when I revisited this quest. This time was able to get the win. My clear time was 42.15 seconds.
Too bad I missed out on the sub-30. Unfortunately, never got the chance to try this fight again before FFRK ended.
Anyway, one of the rewards that I got for clearing this quest was some Record Board tiles for some chars being unlocked. Too bad Genesis isn’t one of those chars.
Sephiroth is one of those chars though. And, IIRC, Vincent and Barret are included as well.
For Sephi, 2 Record Board tiles got unlocked. One is called Fire Harmony - Physical. Its effect is:
Increases physical fire damage by up to 5% based on the number of allies infused with the power of fire.
The second tile is called Dark Harmony - Physical. Its effect is:
Increases physical dark damage by up to 5% based on the number of allies infused with the power of the dark.
So I spent the resources needed to unlock these tiles for Sephiroth, Vincent, and Barret. I think Balthier got this too.
Can’t remember for sure anymore. Since Final Fantasy Record Keeper just ended, can’t double-check this info on my account anymore.
The only thing I know for sure is that Genesis doesn’t have these new tiles but Sephiroth does.
Genesis was supposed to eventually get these new tiles too but now that FFRK is all over, that will never happen. Sigh. It’s really unfortunate that a lot of things will never happen now. Really wish the game didn’t have to end.
Conclusion
So what about you? Have you done any of the quests in the Labyrinth Dungeons? What do you think about these fights? What do you think about the fact that Final Fantasy Record Keeper is all over now? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Labyrinth Dungeons Clears Part 3
Labyrinth Nexus S1, Part 1 Info
The boss of this fight is called Kalavinka Striker (Labyrinth). He is weak to the earth element.
There are 2 versions of him, one that’s weak to physical earth and another that’s weak to magical earth. Well, there are 4 versions of him if you’re also counting the 2 quest levels.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 580 Kalavinka Striker Fight
Decided to take on the physical-weak, quest level 580 version of Kalavinka Striker (Labyrinth) with the following team:
Galuf Halm Baldesion from Final Fantasy V
Tyro from Final Fantasy Record Keeper
Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII (#ad)
Gladiolus Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Tifa and Gladio served as my main DPS since I have multiple BDL relics for them. They did really well on this fight.
Have the following relics for Tifa Lockhart:
Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB), Awoken Meteor Arts
Synchro Arcane Soul Break 1 (SASB1), Zangan’s Infinitude
SASB2, Limit Combo
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Meteor Arts
AASB2, Chain Somersault
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB), Platinum Strike
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Meteodrive
Overstrike Soul Break (OSB), Meteor Strike
Glint+ Soul Break 2 (G+2), Rockcrusher Grasp
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), Meteor Crusher
Default Soul Break, Beat Rush
Legend Materia 1, Heroic Devotion
Legend Materia 2, Fighter’s Instinct
Legend Materia Relic 1 (LMR1), Brawling Barkeep
LMR3, First-Class Fighter
And I might or might not have Tifa’s LMR2, Friendly Fighter, but can’t remember for sure anymore. I talk more about this in another post.
Anyway, although I have both of Tifa’s Syncs, I could only bring 1 to this fight since each char can only equip 1 SASB at a time. Tifa’s Sync 2 is way better than her Sync 1 so the former was what I brought to this quest.
For Gladiolus, I have his Dual, Awakening, Sync and a few of his other relics. I also have his physical earth Chain Soul Break althought IIRC, didn’t have him use this since Galuf served as my Chain holder for this fight.
I have Galuf’s Chain, 2 of his Awakenings, and his Sync. As aforementioned, he served as my Chain holder. Galuf deals decent enough damage but he doesn’t hit as hard as Gladio or Tifa. Still, he did very well as my secondary DPS and Chain holder.
Aerith and Tyro served as my buffers and supports. Aerith was also my healer.
Have the following relics for Aerith Gainsborough:
Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB), Awoken White Materia
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Star Pulse
AASB2, Planetary Pulse
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Hidden Bloom
USB2, Innocent Cure
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Refreshing Breeze
G+2, Star Whisper
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), White Materia
BSB2, Prayer of Salvation
Super Soul Break (SSB), Pulse of Life
Unique Soul Break, Planet Protector
Unique Soul Break, Fury Brand
Unique Soul Break, Dragon Force
Unique Soul Break, Healing Wind (VII)
Default Soul Break, Seal Evil
Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Flower of the Slums
Legend Materia 1, Daughter of the Ancients
Legend Materia 2, Motherly Protector
I’ve even max honed one of Aerith’s Awakenings so it can be used twice per fight instead of just once. I talk more about that in this post.
Aside from keeping everyone alive and providing Last Stand, Aerith can also speed up the physical attacks of her allies.
Tyro can increase the party’s critical hit chance. He can also Entrust his gauges to his allies.
Have a few of Tyro’s Soul Breaks, including his Awakening and Ultra Soul Breaks.
I have 1 copy of a Level 99 Neo Bahamut (Ultra Attack) Magicite and 1 copy of a Level 99 Neo Bahamut (Ultra Magic) Magicite thanks to being able to clear the Neo Bahamut quest level 600 fight. I talk more about this in another post.
So for this Labyrinth quest, I brought Neo Bahamut (Ultra Attack) as my main Magicite. Having him really helped to increase the damage output of my chars.
This fight was only quest level 580 so it really wasn’t that hard, especially since my physical earth elemental team was pretty stacked and I even have a Neo Bahamut Magicite already.
So I was able to get the win in 25.45 seconds. Yay for being able to sub-30 this fight.
Labyrinth Nexus S3, Part 1 Info
The boss of this fight is called Alexander (Labyrinth). He is weak to the dark element.
There are 2 versions of him, one that’s weak to physical dark and another that’s weak to magical dark. Well, there are 4 versions of him if you’re also counting the 2 quest levels.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 580 Alexander Fight
Decided to take on the physical-weak, quest level 580 version of Alexander with the following team:
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
Shadow from Final Fantasy VI
Ravus Nox Fleuret from Final Fantasy XV
Tyro from Final Fantasy Record Keeper
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Have the following relics for Sephiroth:
Limit Break Chain (LBC), Woven Bond: Sephiroth - Dark
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF), Dark Illumination
True Arcane Soul Break 1 (TASB1) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break 1 (ADSB1), Super Nova or Sunburst
TASB2, Jenova
Synchro Arcane Soul Break 1 (SASB1), Demonic Lord
SASB2, Crimson Octaslash
SASB3, Dark Carmine Blade
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Stigma
AASB2, Underworld Guardian
AASB3, Flames of Nibelheim
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break 1 (AOSB1), Setting Sun
AOSB2, Purgatorial Flames
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Heartless Angel
USB2, Zanshin
USB3, Crimson Lotus
Overstrike Soul Break (OSB), Heaven’s Light
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Shimmer Flash
G+2, Fervent Shadow
Glint Soul Break (G), Jenova’s Might
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), Reunion
BSB2, Octaslash
Super Soul Break 1 (SSB1), Black Materia
SSB2, Transience
Unique Soul Break, Nibelheim Nightmare
Unique Soul Break, Hell’s Gate
Unique Soul Break, Shadow Flare
Default Soul Break, Oblivion
Legend Materia 1, Fallen Hero
Legend Materia 2, Jenova’s Echo
Legend Materia Relic 1 (LMR1), Fateful Secret
LMR2, Apocalyptic Hero
LMR3, Cruelest Cut
LMR+, Refinement (Sephiroth)
Yeah, I have basically all of Sephi’s relics. The only one I’m missing for him is his Dual Awakening Soul Break 1 (DASB1), Awoken Octaslash. I really hate that I wasn’t able to get this.
And it’s definitely not for lack of trying. When Sephiroth’s Dual first showed up in Final Fantasy Record Keeper, I tried pulling for it.
I talk more about that in this post, but the main point is that, sadly, no matter how many times I pulled on the banner said Dual was featured in, was never able to get it.
Went 10 pulls deep on that banner, spending hundreds of mythril, until I was all out, and yet I couldn’t even manage to get all the relics featured there.
Was really frustrated and annoyed about that. Still am, really. Eff the crappy, trashy rates on this game. And now that FFRK is ending, I’ll never be able to get Sephiroth’s Dual. Sigh.
Anyway, Sephiroth served as one of my DPS for this fight. He’s a really good physical dark elemental attacker although he also dabbles in the fire element.
Shadow served as my physical dark Chain holder. IIRC, also have his Awakening and Sync plus a few of his other relics.
Can’t remember for sure anymore and unfortunately, the game is over by now, so can’t check the relics list of my chars anymore.
Tyro and Aerith served as my supports again. And, as usual, they both did very well in buffing and supporting the party.
Ravus served as my main DPS since I have most of his relics, including his Dual, Awakening, Sync, and TASB.
My physical dark elemental team is pretty stacked and this was only quest level 580 so found this fight pretty easy.
Was able to get the win but was really, really annoyed that my clear time was 30.30 seconds. Argh! Was so close to being able to sub-30 this quest. It really sucks that I wasn’t able to.
I know I can just try again and see if I can lower my clear time somehow but decided to just move on to a different quest for now. FFRK is ending really soon, so I’m running out of time.
Would like to clear as many Labyrinth Dungeons quests as I can before the end. If I get more time, I’ll try this fight again.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 650 Alexander Fight
Took on the physical-weak quest level 650 Alexander fight with Sephiroth, Aerith, Shadow, Ravus, and Tyro. This fight turned out to be much, much harder when compared to the quest level 580 version.
It took 42.35 seconds before I was able to get Alexander down to 9.8% HP. By then things were looking kinda dire because the effects of my Chain just ran out and I had yet to get it back up.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Aerith somehow ended up getting afflicted with the stone debuff so she couldn’t move or do anything anymore.
But since the rest of my chars were all still alive and well and the fight seemed to be nearly over already, decided to keep going.
Well, the good news was that my DPS were able to get Alexander’s HP down to 4.9%. The bad news was that they were all nearly dead now.
As can be seen in the screenshot below, the Last Stand for Sephiroth, Ravus, and Tyro just got triggered. With Aerith out of commission, it was gonna be near impossible to get my chars back to full health.
Tyro does have Soul Breaks that can restore the party’s HP but he can’t provide Last Stand and he’s not really a healer like Aerith.
At least it looked like my chars still had Aerith’s HP Regen buff active on them but I still needed to get them back to full health ASAP before Alexander attacks again.
Was able to get Shadow to cast his Chain again. Ravus and Sephiroth managed to get Alexander’s HP down to 2.3%.
Unfortunately, my chars were still at low HP. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Shadow and Ravus also got paralyzed.
Tyro has a Soul Break that can remove debuffs but before I could cast that, Alexander managed to kill the rest of my party.
Argh! Was so close already. Alexander was already at 2.3%. My chars had been able to deal 97.7% damag to him already. Just a little bit more, and I would have been able to win. Ugh. Eff this fight. So frustrating.
Since I was so close to winning this fight already, decided to try it again. Thankfully, this time, was able to get the win. Hell, yes! My team managed to beat Alexander in 42.10 seconds.
Missed out on the sub-30 but it’s fine. I’ll just see about trying this fight again later on.
Anyway, clearing or mastering this fight for the first time also gave me a bunch of rewards, including a Realm/Elemental x11 ticket and unlocking more tiles from the Record Boards of select chars.
Labyrinth Nexus S3, Part 4 Info
The boss of this fight is called Earth Guardian (Labyrinth). He is weak to the wind element.
There are 2 versions of him, one that’s weak to physical wind and another that’s weak to magical wind. Well, there are 4 versions of him if you’re also counting the 2 quest levels.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 580 Earth Guardian Fight
Decided to take on the physical-weak, quest level 580 version of Earth Guardian with the following team:
Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Bartz Klauser from Final Fantasy V
Vaan from Final Fantasy XII
Tyro from Final Fantasy Record Keeper
Have the following relics for Cloud Strife:
Limit Break Chain (LBC), Woven Bond: Cloud
Limit Break Guardian Soul Break (LBGS), Guardian Choco-Mog
Dual Awakening Soul Break 1 (DASB1), Awoken Finishing Touch
DASB2, Awoken Darkpetal Bloom
Chain Soul Break+ (CSB+), Bond (Cloud)
True Arcane Soul Break 1 (TASB1) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break 1 (ADSB1), Omnislash
TASB2, Apex Hazardous Darkness
Synchro Arcane Soul Break 1 (SASB1), Apex Slash
SASB3, Mako Strike
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Angelic Synergy
AASB3, Dark Side Braver
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break 2 (AOSB2), Eye of Darkness
AOSB1, Sonic Braver
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Ultra Cross Slash
USB2, Climirage
USB3, Darkpetal Bloom
Overstrike Soul Break 1 (OSB1), Finishing Touch
OSB2, Cherry Blossom (FFT)
Burst Soul Break 2 (BSB2), Cloud Cycle
BSB1, Fenrir Overdrive
Super Soul Break (SSB), Blade Beam
Unique Soul Break, Climhazzard
Unique Soul Break, Cross Slash
Unique Soul Break, Braver
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Aerial Fang
G+2, Jenova Cell Power
G+3, Truth and Illusion
G+4, Triple Slash
Glint Soul Break 1 (G1), Mako Power
G2, Mako Abyss
Default Soul Break, Sonic Break
Legend Materia Relic 1 (LMR1), Sprinting Wolf
LMR2, Truth Surmounted
LMR4, Broken Illusions
LMR5, Borrowed Blade
LMR6, Self Forgiveness
Legend Materia 1, Lone Wolf
Legend Materia 2, Mantle Bearer
Have most of Cloud’s relics. The only relics I’m missing for Cloud are his LBO, Sync 2, AASB2, BSB3, and LMR3. Too bad I was never able to get any of these before. And now I’ll never be able to because the game is ending already. Sigh.
Anyway, Cloud is a really good physical DPS. He has Soul Breaks that deal either wind or dark elemental damage. He’s better as a wind DPS though. In fact, he’s one of the best wind DPS in this game.
Cloud’s Ultra Cross Slash USB gives him BDL9. IIRC, he and Sephiroth are the only ones in FFRK who can get up to BDL9. For Sephi, his Zanshin USB is the one that gives him BDL9.
So for this fight, Cloud served as my DPS alongside Bartz. Like with Cloud, also have a lot of Bartz’s relics. Unlike with Cloud though, I’m missing a lot of Bartz’s Soul Breaks.
Bartz dabbles in multiple elements. IIRC, I have 2 of his Awakenings and a few of his Syncs, including his wind one. Also have his wind DASB.
Vaan served as my physical wind Chain holder. Aside from his CSB, also have 2 of his Awakenings. So he was also able to help deal damage to the enemy.
As usual, I brought Tyro and Aerith to support the rest of my chars. And as usual, the 2 of them did a really good job. Everyone else did really well too.
This fight was pretty easy. Was able to get the win in exactly 33.00 seconds. It sucks that I missed out on the sub-30 by 3 seconds though.
Ah, well. Will just have to see about trying this again later on. Anyway, as part of the mastery rewards for clearing this quest, I got another Realm/Elemental x11 ticket and was able to unlock more tiles from the Record Boards of some chars.
End of Final Fantasy Record Keeper Mobile Game
And that’s it. It’s all over now. At the time I’m writing this part of this post, it’s way past September 29, 2022 so FFRK has just ended its service. Ahh, I still wish that this didn’t have to happen now or anytime soon.
I tried but sadly, wasn’t able to finish all the content in Final Fantasy Record Keeper before the end. I talk more about that in another post.
Couldn’t even finish clearing all of the Labyrinth Dungeons quests. Yeah, there are lots of things that I’m just never gonna be able to do now that FFRK is over. Sigh.
Another thing that’s really upsetting is the way Final Fantasy Record Keeper ended. Its end feels so anticlimactic. Truly a letdown of epic proportions. The game could have tried to do more before everything ended.
But instead, even before the end, FFRK felt dead already. We stopped getting any new events long before the end.
We got a special banner and some tickets that we could use to pull on said banner. I talk more about that in another post, but we’d get like 1 ticket per day as part of some login bonus campaign or something.
That only lasted for like 30 days or so though. But why couldn’t they have made it last until the end? Why couldn’t they have given us more free pulls?
Why couldn’t they have adjusted the rates or something? Why couldn’t they have made it so that these daily free 10-draws would give us at least 1 6-star or 7-star Soul Break or something?
They didn’t even refresh the Realm and Elemental banners or given us more mythril and Realm/Elemental x11 tickets.
The game could have gone out with a bang but it feels like it all just ended in disappointment.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Labyrinth Dungeons Clears Part 1
Labyrinth Nexus S4, Part 1 Info
The boss of this fight is Shiva (Labyrinth). She is weak to the fire element. There are 2 versions of her, one that’s weak to physical fire and another that’s weak to magical fire.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 580 Shiva Fight
The first time I cleared the physical-weak quest level 580 version of Shiva was a long time ago.
And the only reason I bothered to take on this quest back then was because we got a Labyrinth Dungeons campaign. This included time-limited missions that required players to clear some of the Labyrinth Dungeons quests in order to get some rewards.
Was able to clear the physical-weak quest level 580 version of Shiva with the following chars:
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Balthier (Ffamran mied Bunansa) from Final Fantasy XII
Got the win in exactly 43.00 seconds.
Genesis was my main DPS. Sephiroth was my secondary DPS. Barret was my support and buffer although he was also able to help deal a bit of damage.
Balthier was my Chain holder. He and Barret were also in charge of lowering the boss’s resistance to the fire element. Aerith served as my healer. She can also speed up the party and reduce the delay of their physical attacks.
Too bad I wasn’t able to sub-30 this fight but at least I was able to get the time-limited rewards (which includes at least 2 mythril) associated with clearing this quest.
After the first time I cleared the aforementioned fight, didn’t bother trying to do it again. It was permanent content anyway, so didn’t feel the need to rush and try to sub-30 it as soon as possible.
I thought that I’d always have time and that I could do this quest whenever I wanted. That was true then but since the game is ending soon, everything now has a time limit.
So decided to try this fight again and see if I can get the sub-30 now. Brought the same team that I did before but now I have new relics for them.
Currently, Genesis is my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy VII (#ad) char. He’s the reason why I started playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper. Have all of his relics and he’s as fully built as possible.
Anyway, have multiple BDL relics for Sephiroth and Barret. Have Balthier’s fire Chain which is really good.
Have most of Aerith’s relics, including her Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB) and both of her Awakenings. I’ve honed her Awakened Arcane Soul Break 2 (AASB2) to the max so it can now be used twice per fight instead of just once.
Also just got a new Magicite called Neo Bahamut (I talk more about this in another post) so I made some adjustments and such to my Magicite deck before trying this fight again.
The new Neo Bahamut Magicite is really powerful. My new and improved Magicite deck helped to further boost the damage of my physical fire elemental team so this time I was able to sub-30 this quest. Got the win in 28.50 seconds.
Physical-Weak Quest Level 650 Shiva Fight
The first time I tried the physical-weak, quest level 650 version of the Shiva Labyrinth fight was right after I beat the quest level 580 version for the first time.
There were also time limited missions associated with clearing this fight. You can get all the rewards by beating Shiva.
If you’re able to deal at least 30% or more damage to Shiva, then you get 1 Realm/Elemental x11 ticket. If you’re able to deal at least 60% or more damage to Shiva, then you get 1 mythril.
For this fight, I brought the same team that I used to beat the quest level 580 version of Shiva. Unfortunately, failed to defeat Shiva. Only managed to get her down to 32.6% HP before she killed everyone in my party.
Was annoyed but at least I was able to get some of the time limited rewards for this quest.
After that, my plan was to wait until I can get more and better relics before trying this fight again. But even after getting some new Soul Breaks, wasn’t really in a rush to take on Shiva again.
As mentioned, I thought that I’d always have time to do this whenever I wanted and what was the point of rushing anyway, right?
Now that everything was gonna end soon though, decided to try this fight again and see if I can finally get the win and possibly even the sub-30 this time.
My team was once again Genesis, Sephiroth, Barret, Balthier, and Aerith. This time, was able to get the win in 37.10 seconds.
Missed out on the sub-30 which sucks, but it’s fine. Just glad I was finally able to get the win this time.
Really super pleased with this team. Everyone did so well. And I’m really loving the new Neo Bahamut Magicite.
One of the rewards that I got for clearing this quest was some Record Board tiles for some chars being unlocked. Too bad Genesis isn’t one of those chars.
These tiles will further improve the chars who get them such as by further boosting their damage output.
Magical-Weak Quest Level 580 Shiva Fight
After clearing the physical-weak, quest level 650 version of Shiva, decided to try the magical-weak quest level 580 version of Shiva next.
My team was:
Ace from Final Fantasy Type-0
Vincent Valentine from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII
Papalymo Totolymo from Final Fantasy XIV
Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII
Lenna Charlotte Tycoon from Final Fantasy V
Ace, Vincent, and Papalymo served as my DPS. Vincent was also my Chain holder and he also helped imperil the fire element.
Lenna was my healer. Cait Sith was my support, healer, and buffer. He’s the premier support for mages and mind-based attackers.
Have multiple BDL relics for Ace, Vincent, and Papalymo, and all of them are really good, especially when supported and buffed by Cait Sith. So was able to get the win in 25.25 seconds.
Magical-Weak Quest Level 650 Shiva Fight
After beating the magical-weak, quest level 580 version of Shiva, decided to take on the magical-weak, quest level 650 version of Shiva next.
My team was still Ace, Vincent, Papalymo, Cait Sith, and Lenna. Things seemed to be going well enough at first, but then Lenna ended up dying. Shiva still had 61.6% HP when that happened.
Since everyone else was still alive, decided to keep going. At least Cait Sith can also heal. Too bad he doesn’t have a way to resurrect the party.
Lenna’s Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1) can do that though. If she hadn’t been the one to die, if it had been anyone else other than her, I’d have been able to bring the fallen back using Lenna’s AASB1.
At least even with Lenna gone, the rest of my team still seemed to be doing well. Cait Sith kept everyone alive while also buffing and supporting them while my DPS focused on taking down Shiva.
Just when I thought that I’d actually be able to get the win, Vincent and Papalymo died. By then Shiva was down to 3.8% HP.
Ace and Cait Sith were still alive so I thought that I still had a chance to win, especially since Shiva was nearly dead already.
The problem was that the duration of my currently-active fire Chain Soul Break was basically nearly over. With Vincent dead, I no longer had a way to refresh or recast said Chain.
Chains help to further boost the damage of my chars. The moment my fire Chain ended, Ace’s damage went down.
Kept going anyway and actually managed to get Shiva down to 2.9% HP but unfortunately, wasn’t able to get the win.
Cait Sith couldn’t keep up with the incoming damage anymore. Was all out of gauges, so couldn’t use one of his Soul Breaks to heal him and Ace.
IIRC, was also out of uses of all of Ace’s BDL relics like his Awakening and Sync so couldn’t deal much damage anymore.
Shiva also started doing a countdown. If she isn’t defeated soon, the party will automatically be ejected from the fight.
Then Cait SIth ended up being paralyzed so couldn’t heal anyone anymore. He and Ace still had Last Stand thanks to being able to use Cait Sith’s Ultra Soul Break earlier.
But that didn’t last for long since Last Stand soon got triggered. Shiva was left with 2.7% HP by the time she finished off Ace and Cait Sith.
Argh! So close! Really annoyed that I couldn’t get the win now. If Lenna hadn’t died so early, I think I might have been able to make it to the end.
Was gonna try again but for now, decided to take on a different Labyrinth Nexus fight first.
Update: Unfortunately, never got to try the Shiva fight again. Ran out of time. Because yeah, that’s right. Sadly, the Final Fantasy Record Keeper mobile game is all over now. I talk more about that in another post.
I really wish that I had more time to try the Shiva fight again. Didn’t even get the chance to do all the Labyrinth Nexus fights.
Conclusion
So what about you? Have you done any of the quests in the Labyrinth Dungeons? What do you think about these fights? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Tifa Lockhart Updated Relics and Stats List
In the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game, Final Fantasy VII is the realm where I have the most relics. That’s because FF7 is my fave realm in this game.
If there’s a Final Fantasy VII banner or if a Final Fantasy VII char is featured on a banner, I almost always pull on said banner.
This post is all about Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII and all the Soul Breaks I currently have for her as well as her current stats and such.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper End of Service Announcement
Unfortunately, Final Fantasy Record Keeper just recently announced that it was gonna end its service on September 29, 2022. I talk more about that in another post.
I really wish this didn’t have to happen. I don’t want FFRK to end, at least not anytime soon.
Anyway, I’m hoping to be able to finish as much of FFRK’s content as I can before everything ends on September 29, 2022. I talk more about that in another post.
I also want to take screenshots of a couple of stuff in the game before the end.
Tifa Lockhart Relics List
Here’s a list of all the relics that I have for Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII (#ad):
Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB), Awoken Meteor Arts
Synchro Arcane Soul Break 1 (SASB1), Zangan's Infinitude
SASB2, Limit Combo
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Meteor Arts
AASB2, Chain Somersault
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB), Platinum Strike
Ultra Soul Break 1 (USB1), Meteodrive
Overstrike Soul Break (OSB), Meteor Strike
Glint+ Soul Break 2 (G+2), Rockcrusher Grasp
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), Meteor Crusher
Default Soul Break, Beat Rush
Legend Materia 1, Heroic Devotion
Legend Materia 2, Fighter's Instinct
Legend Materia Relic 1 (LMR1), Brawling Barkeep
LMR3, First-Class Fighter
Missing 11 or 12 of Tifa’s Soul Breaks:
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO), Crushing Palm
True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), Final Heaven
USB2, Meteor Combo
G+1, Eruption Garb
Glint Soul Break 1 (G1), Zangan Awakening
G2, Rock Render
BSB2, Rolling Blaze
Super Soul Break (SSB), Dolphin Blow
Unique Soul Break, Burning Arrow
Unique Soul Break, Waterkick
Unique Soul Break, Sommersault
LMR2, Friendly Fighter
Unfortunately, FFRK ended before I had the chance to take more screenshots of Tifa’s relics, stats, character profiles, and such.
Wasn’t able to take a screenshot of the Materia tab of her relics list, and now I can’t remember for sure if I have all of her Legend Materia Relics or not.
I know for sure that I have Tifa’s LMR1. Got it from a daily free draw a long, long time ago. I talk more about that in another post.
Tifa’s LMR3 gives her a chance to dualcast Monk-type abilities. I also know for sure that I have this. Even have it currently equipped to her based on the above screenshot.
Just can’t remember if I got this from a draw, or if I used Anima Lenses to buy it from the The Record Lab.
Also can’t remember if I have Tifa’s LMR2. This one temporarily infuses her with the power of earth on battle start. This isn’t really a good LMR since it only lasts for 25 seconds so I’m pretty sure I didn’t bother Lensing this.
I remember getting Tifa’s Dual from the Final Fantasy VII Summer Sun Festival 2022 Luck of the Realms banner. I talk more about that in this post, but this was a very pleasant surprise.
I remember getting Tifa’s AASB2 from one of the Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon banners.
When I got my first copy of this Soul Break, I was super pleased because this gives me another BDL relic for Tifa.
But I got annoyed and even mad when I kept on getting dupes of this Awakening. I talk more about that in this post.
Looks like I got Tifa’s Sync 1 from a free draw. I talk more about that in another post.
Was really pleased when I got my first copy of Tifa’s Sync 1. But then, much, much later, I ended up getting a dupe of this from a Final Fantasy VII Luck of the Realms banner. Was really annoyed when that happened. I talk more about that in another post.
I got Tifa’s Sync 2 via the Final Fantasy VII Crystal Dungeons Stamp Sheet Select Relic List B pick. I talk more about that in another post.
Anyway, of the relics that I know for sure that I’m missing for Tifa, the only ones I can’t Lens are her LBO and TASB.
Although I could have Lensed the other Soul Breaks that I’m missing for Tifa, I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to do so before the game ended.
Tifa Lockhart Info
In Final Fantasy Record Keeper, Tifa Lockhart is a really good physical earth elemental DPS.
Ever since I got Tifa’s Sync 1 and AASB1, she became part of my physical earth elemental team as my main DPS.
Tifa was part of my team when I took on Ramuh, the 6-star physical and earth-weak Magicite boss. This is quest level 550. I talk more about this fight in this post.
Tifa was also part of my team when I took on the physical and earth-weak version of the Argent Odin Magicite fight. This is quest level 600. I talk more about this fight in this post.
Glad I was able to use Tifa for a lot of fights but I still wish I’d been able to use her more.
I only just recently got her Sync 2 which is way better than her Sync 1 so I wish that I got the chance to use this Soul Break more.
Actually, now that I’m thinking about this some more, can’t remember for sure now if I was able to try out this relic. By the time I acquired Tifa’s Sync 2, the game was super close to ending already.
Can’t remember for sure now if I'd gotten the chance to bring Tifa to another physical and earth-weak fight to try out her Sync 2.
I also only just recently got her DASB but pretty sure I was able to use this a few times since I got this before her Sync 2. Can’t remember the exact dates anymore though.
Tifa Lockhart Hero Artifacts and Hero Ability
My Tifa is currently equipped with her Hero Artifacts:
Level 99 of 99 Premium Heart (VII)
Level 99 of 99 Tifa’s Gloves (VII)
Level 1 of 1 Tifa’s Earrings (VII)
Unfortunately, wasn’t able to double-check if I’d been able to get the best passives for all of Tifa’s Hero Artifacts.
I did try to farm for Tifa but didn’t get to spend that much time on it so I don’t think I was able to get the perfect passives for all of her Artifacts.
IIRC, Tifa’s Artifacts did return to the Labyrinth Dungeons once or twice after their initial appearance so I got to try farming for them again.
I think I was able to get the perfect passives for Tifa’s accessory and armor. Can’t remember for sure anymore though. And now I can’t check the game since FFRK’s all over now. Sigh.
Anyway, Tifa has 2 Hero Abilities - a Monk-type ability called Beat Rush and a Monk-type ability called Somersault. Created and fully maxed out both so they each have 10 uses per fight.
Tifa Lockhart Stats
Tifa currently has the following stats:
ATK - 1104
MAG - 149
ACC - 120
DEF - 439
RES - 404
EVA - 135
MND - 149
SPD - 189
Tifa Lockhart Magia Crystals
Currently, Tifa has 135 Magia points. Unfortunately, wasn’t able to take a screenshot of her Magia Crystals list before the game ended.
But I’m positive that I gave my Tifa’s Attack Magia Crystal 100 points since that’s always what I do for physical DPS the moment I get 100 points for them.
Then Tifa must have 35 points in the attack section of her Earth Magia Crystal.
Tifa Lockhart Crystal Water Points
Wasn’t able to take a screenshot but I’m pretty sure that my Tifa has max Crystal Waters for the following stats: ATK, HP, DEF, and RES.
Tifa Lockhart Character Profile
Each char in Final Fantasy Record Keeper has a Character Profile. This has 2 tabs - Overview and Hero Record.
Unfortunately, wasn’t able to take screenshots of Tifa’s Overview and Hero Record.
But here’s some of what is listed under the Overview tab of Tifa’s Character Profile:
Tifa’s Role is listed as Physical Attack.
Under the Special Traits heading is the following text:
Wields daggers and fist weapons. Can use rare combat abilities, buffing her Attack to deal heavy damage.
The Hero Record tab of Tifa’s Character Profile has the following text:
A member of AVALANCHE and Cloud's childhood friend, Tifa is a skilled martial artist. Though shy, she harbors feelings for Cloud.
Below that is information about Tifa’s Wardrobe Records. She has 2 costumes. Unfortunately, wasn’t able to take screenshots of any of these either. But at least I was able to find some info about these.
Tifa’s first costume is called Leather Suit. This is the leather outfit that she wore in the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie. IIRC, we got this costume for free just by doing some easy quest or other.
The info page about Tifa’s Leather Suit Wardrobe Record has the following text:
The outfit worn by Tifa in Advent Children. She oversaw the new Seventh Heaven, looking after Marlene and Denzel on her own after Cloud disappeared.
Tifa’s second costume is called Glamorous Tifa. This is the purple dress that Tifa wore in Final Fantasy VII.
This costume is one of the rewards that players will get upon beating the Final Fantasy VII Dreambreaker Dungeon quest in the Cardia Dungeons. This fight is quest level 580.
The info page about Tifa’s Glamorous Tifa Wardrobe Record has the following text:
The dress Tifa wore during the infiltration of Corneo Hall.
Ever since I got Tifa’s Leather Suit costume, I have her wearing it.
As for her Glamorous Tifa Wardrobe Record, I was able to get this costume since I was able to clear the Final Fantasy VII Dreambreaker fight. I talk more about that fight in this post.
Had Tifa equipped with this purple dress a few times and even her default outfit but I found that I prefer her Leather Suit so went back to having her wear said costume.
Anyway, I’m really annoyed that I wasn’t able to take more Tifa-related screenshots before Final Fantasy Record Keeper ended. Wish I’d been able to take more notes and info and such about all of this. Sigh.
It really sucks that the game is all over now. I really wish we could have gotten more time to play FFRK.
Conclusion
So what about you? What do you think about Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII? Do you have a lot of Soul Breaks for her? What do you think about the fact that Final Fantasy Record Keeper is all over now? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Final Fantasy 7 Labyrinth Dungeon
There are 2 Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon fights in the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game, one that's quest level 580 and one that's quest level 650. The boss for these battles is called Hell House (Labyrinth).
Final Fantasy 7 (#ad) chars get Record Synergy for these fights. Depending on the number of chars with Record Synergy in your party, your chars will be able to deal more damage and the damage that Hell House deals will be lessened.
If you bring a char with no Record Synergy (a.k.a an off-realm char), their damage will be reduced. Having at least 4 FF7 chars is recommended for this fight.
These battles are permanent, including all the rewards associated with them so had no plans of doing any of these any time soon.
Labyrinth Dungeon Campaign
But then the Labyrinth Dungeon Campaign happened. This came with several time-limited missions for 3 Labyrinth Dungeon bosses. The ones for Hell House are as follows:
Complete the Hell House (Labyrinth) in the Labyrinth Nexus S3, Part 5 Labyrinth Dungeon with a difficulty of 650 and 30% or more damage dealt - reward is 1 Realm/Elemental x11 ticket
Defeat the quest level 580 Hell House boss - reward is 1 mythril
Defeat the quest level 650 Hell House boss - reward is 1 Scroll of Honing
Final Fantasy 7 is my most stacked realm in this game. Have lots of relics from this realm so I thought that I might actually be able to beat Hell House. At the very least, I wanted to try getting the ticket and mythril.
Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon Team and Soul Breaks Relics List
Decided to try the Hell House (Labyrinth) quest level 580 fight first. My team and the Soul Breaks that I have for them are as follows:
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), LOVELESS
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF), Light of Doom
Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB), Purgatorial Wave
Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB), Genesis Rhapsody
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB), SOLDIER’s Epic
Ultra Soul Break (USB), Apocalypse Genesis
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Epic of Creation
Glint+ Soul Break 2 (G+2), Epic of Heroism
Glint Soul Break (G), Epic of Destruction
Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Fierce Opposition
Currently, Genesis is my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy char. He’s the reason why I’m playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
And so, unsurprisingly, I have all of his currently available relics and he has max Crystal Waters for all the stats - HP, Attack, Defense, Magic, Resistance, and Mind.
Yeah, as a physical DPS, he doesn’t need magic and mind, but I don’t care. I want to give him all the stats anyway.
Currently, Genesis has 1254 Magia points. He has 100 Magia points in the following Magia Crystals:
fire elemental attack
ice elemental defense
lightning elemental defense
dark elemental defense
physical attack
defense
resistance
HP
Then he has 75 Magia points in the following Magia Crystals:
fire elemental defense
earth elemental defense
wind elemental defense
water elemental defense
holy elemental defense
poison elemental defense
Genesis’s Record Board was the first one that I ever completed. His Hero Ability (HA), Genesis Slash or Creation Laceration, was the first one I ever made.
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII

Currently have most of Sephiroth’s relics. He’s a physical DPS who dabbles in 2 elements. Dark is his main element while fire is his secondary one.
Seph has max Crystal Waters for ATK, DEF, and RES. He has Waters for HP too though it’s not at max.
Completed his Record Board. Also made both of his Hero Abilities, Heartless Angel for the dark element, and Scintilla for the fire element.

The only non-Lensable relic that I don’t have for Aerith is her SASB, Blue-Eyed Sentinel. The other relics that I’m missing for her are all Lensable.
She has max Crystal Waters for HP, DEF, RES, and MND. Apparently, I also accidentally gave her some Waters for magic although she doesn’t need that stat at all. Whoops. Her Record Board’s complete. Also made her HA, Healing Wind.
Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII
Dual Awakening Soul Break (DASB), Awoken Ungarmax
TASB, Catastrophe
AASB2, Uncontrolled Beam
USB, Height of Anger
G+, Avenging Flames
G, Angry Mind

Currently have most of Vincent’s relics. He’s a hybrid DPS, meaning he can be a physical or magical attacker, depending on which stat of his is currently higher.
So aside from giving him max Crystal Waters for HP, DEF, and RES, I also gave him the ones for ATK and MAG. His Record Board’s complete and he has his HA, Beast Flare.
Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon Team Info
I’ve got a max leveled (Level 120 of 120) Final Fantasy VII Historia Crystal with max (500%) Link Synergy.
Everyone has their Hero Equipment and Hero Abilities. Genesis has perfect passives and max levels for his Hero Equipment and max augment for his weapon and armor.
Sephiroth, Aerith, Vincent, and Barret’s Hero Equipments are also all at max level. Some of them have perfect passives already. And some have a few augment levels.
Genesis is a physical DPS and his element is fire. I want him to be my main DPS for this fight so I tried to build a team around him, one that's primarily focused on dealing fire damage.
Sephiroth served as my secondary DPS. He's a physical DPS and his primary element is dark although he does have fire-based relics. I brought some of his dark relics in case I need more firepower but I focused on using his fire Soul Breaks first.
Vincent served as my third DPS while also helping to support and buff the team with his fire imperils. Had him geared for physical damage since the rest of my team was all physical.
Barret served as my support and buffer with his Soul Breaks. He can also deal some damage although wasn't really relying on him for that.
Aerith served as my healer and support. With her Soul Breaks, she can speed up her allies by providing physical hi fastcast.
Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon Hell House Quest Level 580 Fight
Didn't bother looking up Hell House’s. I just know that in phase 2 of this fight, there's gonna be a Full Break debuff that's similar to the one in the Final Fantasy VII Dragonking Dungeon quest.
So my plan was to save Barret's AASB2 (one of the effects of this Soul Break is being able to counter the Full Break debuff by buffing the party) for that.
Also glanced briefly at the info in-game about Hell House and that's where I saw that he has some lightning-based attacks so made sure to max out Genesis’s lightning elemental defense Magia Crystal.
Now that I'm taking a closer look at the in-game info as I'm writing this post, I see that it actually has a lot more pretty useful information about this fight.
Anyway, to my surprise, the quest level 580 fight was pretty easy. I was bracing myself for a really hard fight because I was remembering how hard the FF7 Dragonking fight against Bahamut was.
But Hell House seemed like a joke when compared to Bahamut. Didn't have any issues at all. All my DPS were doing really good damage throughout the fight.
I know Bahamut has a really high quest level but couldn't remember it at the moment. Looked it up just now and saw that it was quest level 630. No wonder the 580 Hell House fight seemed so easy in comparison.
Unsurprisingly was able to get the win. Even managed to sub-30 this quest. My clear time was 22.33 seconds.
Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon Hell House Quest Level 650 Fight
In contrast to the quest level 580 Hell House fight, the quest level 650 one was way harder although it didn’t seem too bad at first. Brought in the same team that I used to beat the 580 quest.
At first, things seemed to be going really well. Like with the level 580 fight, didn’t bother looking up the move set for this quest. I just knew that it was going to be similar to the 580 version except that it was going to be much harder, of course.
So for this fight, here’s what my chars did or what I remember having them do:
Aerith - had her use her Glint+1 for the party-wide Protect, Shell, and Haste. Activated her AASB2 as soon as I could then spammed her Hero Ability for the party-wide healing.
IIRC, her AASB2 lasted until near the end of phase 2. Used her AASB1 when the effects of her AASB2 ended. And IIRC, the effects of her AASB1 were still active when phase 3 of this fight started.
Barret - just spammed his HA all throughout phase 1. Just before phase 2 was set to start, used his TASB. Right after the Full Break debuff happened on phase 2, had him use his AASB2 then went back to spamming his HA. Saved his DASB for phase 3.
Barret doesn’t always deal good damage, especially because I gave him the Ace Striker Record Materia. Its effect is: “Soul Break gauge fills much more when using attack or abilities.”
In retrospect, shouldn’t have given Barret this Materia so he could have dealt more damage. The reason why I gave him this Materia though was because I was thinking that he could Entrust his Soul Break bars to Aerith.
But it turned out that that wasn’t really necessary. Aerith didn’t really need the extra gauges. She did a really good job as my healer. Having a lot of her Soul Breaks plus her Hero Ability really helped.
Sometimes, Barret was able to break the damage cap while under the effects of any of his BDL relics. His HA deals a lot of hits so it’s great for building up the Chain count.
Barret also provides decent enough buffs for the party. He can even imperil the fire element so between him and Vincent, Hell House was basically permanently at the max level of the fire resist down debuff. IIRC, that’s level 6.
Vincent - used his Glint+ that instantly gives him 2 Soul Break bars. Then I cast his Sync 2. Used his Sync Command 2 once then proceeded to spam his Sync Command 1 which I had linked to his Hero Ability.
When the effects of Vincent’s Sync 2 ended, had him use his AASB2 then spammed his HA. When that was over, had him use his his AASB1 then spammed his HA again.
Sephiroth - had him use his fire TASB then spammed his fire HA until he had enough bars to cast his Sync 2. After casting his Sync 2, had him use his Sync Command 2 once then spammed his Sync Command 1 which was linked to his fire HA.
When the effects of Sephiroth’s Sync 2 ended, had him use his AASB3 then resumed spamming his fire HA. IIRC, this lasted until phase 3.
In phase 3, after the effects of his AASB3 ended, had Sephi use his Zanshin USB for the BDL9. Needed more damage for phase 3 but using Seph’s Zanshin didn’t really work out.
Genesis - had him use his G+1 to activate his Trance mode then used his G+2 for the BDL+1. Spammed his HA until I had enough bars to cast his Sync.
In retrospect, maybe I should have cast his AASB first but I guess it didn’t really matter since both worked very well.
Had Genesis use his Sync Command 2 once then Sync Command 1 twice then Sync Command 2 once again. His Sync Command 1 was linked to his HA. Just followed the aforementioned rotation until the effects of his Sync ran out.
After that, had Genesis use his TASB then his AASB then spammed his HA. Sometime during phase 3, also tried to use his LBO. I think this was right after phase 3 began.
Made a bit of a mistake though. Shouldn’t have cast Genesis’s LBO yet. Because when I cast it, it didn’t deal the full 99999x5 damage that I was expecting to see.
Anyway, phase 1 and phase 2 of this fight went pretty well. Phase 3 was where things started to go wrong.
I’m not sure if there was also a Full Break debuff in this phase but when said phase started, the damage of my DPS started tanking.
Used Barret’s DASB to buff my chars but that didn’t seem to help much at all. My chars weren’t always able to break the damage cap anymore which was really frustrating.
Was taking so long to get through this phase. Couldn’t seem to do more than chip away at Hell House’s HP.
Then my chars ended up being hit with this attack that paralyzed them. No one could move, not even Aerith, so I couldn’t get her to cure herself and her allies.
Then, shortly after that happened, my entire party was hit with Labyrinth Maze End which instantly ejected everyone from the battle because the fight was taking too long.
This was so, so, so frustrating because I wa so close to winning already. At this point, Hell House was down to 2.2% HP. If I had just gotten a little bit more time, maybe I’d have been able to get the win.
Ugh. If only my chars had been able to consistently break the damage cap in phase 3. If only they didn’t get paralyzed. If only this fight wasn’t so freaking fast-paced.
Sigh. This is really frustrating and annoying. But at least I was able to get the important rewards from the campaign.
Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon Hell House Quest Level 650 Fight Take 2
Tried this fight again. This time my plan was to use Barret’s AASB2 in phase 3 and his DASB in phase 2.
Unfortunately, this try was a compete failure. Couldn’t even get past phase 2. Looks like Barret’s DASB wasn’t enough to deal with the Full Break debuff. Was taking too long in phase 2 so eventually got ejected from the fight.
Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon Hell House Quest Level 650 Fight Take 3
A bit later on, finally got the chance to look up Hell House’s move set. That was when I found out that there’s a damage reduction barrier of sorts that happens at the start of phase 3. This lasts for like 5 seconds and it looks like there’s no way to counter this.
Anyway, so the next time I tried this fight, had Barret use his TASB right away for the buffs. Then I spammed his HA to build up the Chain count.
Had Aerith use her USB2 first for phase 1. Without being under the effects of either of her Awakenings, it felt like she was moving so slowly.
It doesn’t help that her HA has a slow cast time. Using her Awakenings helped offset that because one of the effects of her AASBs is giving her fast cast.
Thankfully, Aerith’s USB2 provides party-wide Last Stand and my team was bulky enough that no one died even though I stuck to using Aerith’s Ultra for phase 1.
Used Vincent’s Sync 2, Sephiroth’s Sync 2, and Genesis’s Sync for phase 1. They were all able break the damage cap and deal a lot of damage. And between Barret and Vincent, Hell House was nearly always at max fire imperil.
The effects of Vincent’s, Sephiroth’s, and Genesis’s Syncs were still active when phase 2 started.
Messed up the timing a bit though. The plan was to cast Barret’s AASB2 right after Hell House uses the Full Break debuff.
So I should have skipped Barret’s turn when the boss was nearing the 70% HP percentage threshold (this will mark the start of phase 2). This way, I’ll be ready to tap on his Awakening Soul Break the moment the Full Break debuff hits my team.
But like I said, ended up messing the timing a bit so wasn’t able to use Barret’s Awakening right away. Because of that, Genesis’s, Sephiroth’s, and Vincent’s damage tanked a bit until I was finally able to get Barret to use his Awakening to deal with the Full Break debuff.
In phase 2, had Aerith use her AASB1 already then just spammed her HA.
Forgot to change Barret’s Record Materia to one that would let him deal more damage so he wasn’t able to help my DPS as much as he could have. His damage was really meh but at least his HA can help increase the Chain count a lot.
Speaking of the Chain, should have reactivated it when the boss was nearing the HP threshold for phase 3. This way, I could have started building up the Chain count again. Chars deal more and better damage the higher the Chain count.
But what happened was that the Chain was nearly over before I managed to recast it.
In phase 3, Used Barret’s DASB and Aerith’s AASB2. The effects of Sephiroth’s AASB3 were still up so just kept on spamming his fire HA . The effects of Vincent’s AASB1 were also still up but I opted to just activate his AASB2 already.
The effects of Genesis’s Sync ran out just as phase 2 was ending. Used his TASB a bit before phase 3 started. On his next turn, used his AASB. This activated while the damage reduction barrier in phase 3 was currently up.
After that, started spamming Genesis’s HA. Thanks to the damage reduction barrier, his damage was crappy at first. But soon he was able to break the damage cap with his attacks.
Vincent and Sephiroth were also able to break the damage cap now so I thought that the damage reduction barrier was finally gone.
Really needed to hurry and end this fight already though otherwise my party was gonna get ejected again. So I started using everyone’s finishers.
The effects of Genesis’s Awakening were still up but I opted to cast his LBO already. The limit break gauge was at the max of 3 bars.
Was super pleased when Genesis’s LBO was able to deal the max of 99999x5 damage. Hell, yes! This really helped to take off a huge chunk of the boss’s HP.
Vincent was currently under the effects of both of his Awakenings so just continued to spam his HA. His HA was able to deal around 20k+.
Used Barret’s TASB finisher which didn’t do much damage at all but every little bit helps.
The effects of Sephiroth’s Awakening were still up but I opted to just use his TASB2 finisher already anyway.
That’s what I should have done in my very first run of this fight. Should have had everyone use their finishers instead of just continuing to spam their HAs.
Yes, they were all currently either under the effects of their Syncs or Awakenings but I still should have just activated their finishers already anyway.
Because these finishers can deal a lot of damage and take off huge chunks of the enemy’s HP at once which really helps speed things up so the fight can end already and so my chars can avoid being ejected for taking too long.
The battle ended at exactly 40.00 seconds. Wasn’t able to sub-30 this quest but it’s fine. Still super happy that I was able to get the win already. And that I was able to do so before the time limited missions for this quest were set to end.
I can just try to sub-30 this fight when I get more and better fire relics in the future. Definitely looking forward to the time wherein Genesis will get his Dual Awakening Soul Break.
Final Fantasy VII Record Board Skills
One of the rewards for clearing the level 650 Hell House Labyrinth fight was the FF VII Camaraderie III Record Board skill being unlocked in the Record Boards of all Final Fantasy 7 chars.
The effect of the FF VII Camaraderie III Record Board skill is as follows:
Increases damage by up to 5% based on the number of FF VII heroes in the party.
Readily spent the materials needed to unlock this skill for Genesis. Also did the same for the other Final Fantasy VII chars that I use most often like Vincent, Sephiroth, and Barret.
Conclusion
So what about you? Have you done the Final Fantasy VII Labyrinth Dungeon fight yet? How did it go? What team did you use? What do you think about these quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Genesis Rhapsodos Hero Artifacts
Ever since I heard that Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII finally got his Hero Artifacts in the Japanese version of the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game, I was really looking forward to the day when these would show up in the Global or English version of FFRK. Now that time has finally come.
The reason why I've been waiting for this is because Genesis is currently my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy char. He's the reason why I'm playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
Aside from Genesis, Hero Artifacts for the following Final Fantasy VII (#ad) chars are also in the Labyrinth Dungeons as part of its Season 3 - Lineup E:
Yuffie Kisaragi
Cait Sith
Barret Wallace
Tifa Lockhart
Sephiroth
Elena
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough
Rufus Shinra
Genesis Rhapsodos Hero Artifacts Information
Each char in Final Fantasy Record Keeper gets 3 Hero Artifacts, one for the weapon slot, one for the armor slot, and one for the accessory slot. Genesis has the following Artifacts:
Red Rapier (VII-CC)
Genesis's Guise (VII-CC)
LOVELESS (VII)
Each Hero Artifact comes with several different passives. These passives also come with different percentages. You can farm for the perfect passives for these Artifacts in the Labyrinth Dungeons.
The following passives are the best for Genesis's Hero Artifacts:
Red Rapier (VII-CC) - Increase fire damage by 5%
Genesis's Guise (VII-CC) - Increase fire ability damage by 5%
LOVELESS (VII) - Reduce delay of the user's actions by 8%
Genesis Rhapsodos Hero Artifacts in Kite's Treasure Trove Shop
With the arrival of the Labyrinth Dungeons Season 3 - Lineup E, Kite's Treasure Trove was updated to include the Hero Artifacts of all the aforementioned FF7 chars.
You can buy multiple copies of any of these Artifacts for 5 Treasure Maps each. You need 4 copies of a char's weapon and armor Hero Artifact in order to fully max limit break them and increase their level cap to 99. Accessories are maxed at Level 1 of 1 so you only need 1 copy.
The Hero Artifacts sold in Kite's Treasure Trove shop don't come with perfect passives so you still need to farm the Labyrinth Dungeons if you want the absolute best stats for your chars.
Before, I didn’t really bother to farm the Labyrinth Dungeons. When I had the time, I did a few manual runs here and there.
But most of the time, I just used the Quick Explore feature to auto a Labyrinth Dungeon once a day since doing this was part of the daily missions.
Managed to get a few perfect Artifacts here and there, which is great but, for the most part, I didn’t really pay much attention to any of this.
I did buy some Hero Artifacts from Kite’s shop but this was only for chars who I’m using. If I don’t even have a single BDL for a char, then I don’t bother buying any of their Hero Artifacts since it’s not like I’ll be able to use them anyway.
But for Genesis, I want to get the perfect passives for his Hero Artifacts. So first, I went to Kite’s shop to buy copies of his Hero Artifacts.
Spent the resources needed to get both of his Red Rapier and armor to Level 99 of 99. Then I equipped him with all of his Hero Artifacts.
Labyrinth Dungeon Quick Explore Feature
Afterwards, went to the Labyrinth Dungeons, specifically to the Corridor of the Dragon King S3. This place has the chance to drop either Genesis’s, Cait Sith’s, and/or Elena’s Hero Artifacts.
Proceeded to use all of my Record Markers to auto this node via the Quick Explore feature. This requires some stamina so every time I run out, I just used potions for a refill.
The Quick Explore feature guarantees at least 1 Hero Artifact and a bunch of other resources and such. It’s really quick and easy to do but the catch is that you can only ever get 1 Artifact per run.
And there’s no guarantee that the Artifact will have a perfect passive, or that it will belong to Genesis.
Had a lot of Record Markers saved thanks to usually only doing one Labyrinth Dungeon Quick Explore run per day. Had the max amount of potions stored in my inventory too (IIRC, it’s 50) since I don’t really bother to farm or grind too much here.
Now I used up all my potions and a lot of my Record Markers, trying to get the perfect passives for Genesis’s Hero Artifacts. Would have used up all my Record Markers but I couldn’t anymore since I ran out of potions so I could no longer refill my stamina.
Managed to get a lot of Artifacts for Genesis, Cait Sith, and Elena. Was able to get perfect passives for Genesis’s armor and accessory.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to get the perfect passive for his Red Rapier. The best I was able to get was “Increase fire damage by 4%".
As for Cait Sith and Elena, IIRC, was able to get perfect passives for their Artifacts too although I wasn’t really paying much attention to them since my focus was on Genesis.
Labyrinth Dungeon Manual Runs
Had to wait for my stamina to regen a bit before I could start a manual run of the Corridor of the Dragon King S3 node.
Doing a manual run of the Labyrinth Dungeon meant having to do multiple quests. Not all of these quests will drop Artifacts.
And although I can easily auto these quests with my fire team (starring Genesis, of course), this is still really tedious and boring, not to mention really grindy. There’s a lot of tapping involved too.
Because inside the Labyrinth Dungeon, you have to explore multiple floors. IIRC, the Corridor of the Dragon King S3 has like 12 floors.
Each floor has multiple paintings. There will be 3 paintings in each row. Picking 1 painting will cause the other 2 to disappear then you’ll move on to the next row of paintings until you get through all the paintings on that floor and move on to the next.
Depending on what kind of painting you choose, different things can happen. Sometimes, you won’t need to fight and you’ll just be given some resources and such before being able to move on to the next painting.
Sometimes, you can get a message saying something like “the enemy is upon you” and then you’ll have to fight said enemy before being able to move on to the next painting.
Sometimes, you get a treasure painting. This is my favorite kind of painting because it comes with 3 treasure chests. One of these chests is guaranteed to have a Hero Artifact.
You can open 1 of these chests for free. But to open the other 2 chests, you need to spend a couple of Magic Keys.
Sometimes, one of the enemies you’re fighting will drop a char’s Hero Artifact as loot.
At the end of a manual Labyrinth Dungeon run, you could end up with several Hero Artifacts.
Augmenting Genesis's Hero Artifacts
Been doing multiple manual runs of the Labyrinth Dungeon, hoping to get 1 copy of Genesis’s Red Rapier with a perfect passive.
Thanks to these runs, was able to get a lot of Artifacts so I started to augment my Level 99 copies of Genesis’s sword and armor. Augmenting adds more stats to your artifacts. The max augment is Level 99 of 99.
After max augmenting Genesis’s sword and armor, I started leveling up my other Hero Artifacts since I got so many extras from doing manual Labyrinth Dungeon runs.
Labyrinth Dungeon Manual Runs
Unfortunately, even after doing so many manual Labyrinth Dungeon runs, I still haven’t been able to get the perfect passive for Genesis’s Red Rapier. It feels like I’ve done hundreds of runs by now but still no dice.
It’s really freaking frustrating and disheartening. Eff the crappy rates on this game. Getting really sick and tired of this boring grind.
It really sucks to finish a manual Labyrinth Dungeon run only to end up with 0 copies of Genesis’s sword.
Like there was 1 time where I managed to get 5 copies of Elena’s Magnum (VII) weapon and even 1 copy each of various Hero Artifacts except for Genesis’s Red Rapier.
Getting copies of Genesis’s sword is only half the battle though. Because there’s no guarantee that the copy or copies I just got will have the perfect passive I’m looking for.
I’ve been able to get multiple copies of Genesis’s Red Rapier but so far, not a single one of them has given me the perfect 5% fire damage up I’ve been looking for.
Instead, I just keep getting crap like “Reduce delay of the user’s action by 4%" or “Briefly raise the user’s Attack a small amount at the start of battle”.
Also managed to get multiple copies of Genesis’s LOVELESS accessory and Crisis Core light armor outfit.
The same could be said for Elena’s and Cait Sith’s Hero Artifacts. Too bad I don’t need anymore of these.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, I’d even sometimes get perfect passives for these Hero Artifacts that I no longer need.
I just want the perfect passive for Genesis’s sword and yet it refuses to show up and I keep getting all these other things that I don’t need or want. It’s so frustrating.
I’ve even started opening all the treasure chests whenever I come across a treasure painting. Normally, as in before Genesis’s Hero Artifacts showed up, I just open the first chest then move on since it costs a lot of Magic Keys to open the last 2 chests.
Now I don’t care if I end up using all of my Magic Keys. I’ve taken to opening all the treasure chests I come across in the hopes of finally acquiring the perfect passive for Genesis’s Red Rapier.
But so far it feels like I’m just wasting my Magic Keys. I just end up being disappointed whenever I open all the treasure chests and it turns out that none of them contain Genesis’s sword.
Or his sword does show up but I get to the end of the Labyrinth Dungeon run only to find out that I just got yet another crappy passive.
By now I’ve lost track of how many manual Labyrinth Dungeon runs I’ve done. It feels like I’ve been farming for forever already. Starting to get really angry and pissed off with how grindy this is and with how I’ve yet to get anything. It’s so disheartening.
I’m starting to lose hope of ever seeing that seemingly mythical 5% fire damage up passive. I know in the long run that it doesn’t really matter. I mean, really, how much of an upgrade is 5% over 4% anyway?
I know that. But still. I want to do this for Genesis. As long as his Hero Artifacts are available in the Lanyrinth Dungeon, I want to keep trying to farm for them but I’m really losing hope and feeling like I should just give up already.
I kept going though. It’s been a while since I did this so don’t remember the exact details anymore, but finally, after what felt like forever, I actually somehow managed to get a copy of Genesis’s Red Rapier with the perfect passive.
Could hardly believe this but I’m so, so, so freaking happy to see this. Hell, yes! Finally, this seemingly endless grinding and farming can end. I’m so sick of the Labyrinth Dungeon. Definitely don’t want to do anymore manual farming anytime soon.
Genesis Rhapsodos Hero Artifacts
Anyway, the moment I saw that I had finally managed to acquire the perfect passive for Genesis’s sword, I immediately fused this to my main copy. Now my Genesis has perfect Hero Artifacts. Hell, yes!
Conclusion
So, what about you? What do you think about the Labyrinth Dungeons? Did you farm for anyone’s Hero Artifacts? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Defeat Tiamat (Labyrinth) with a difficulty of 650 - reward is 1 Scroll of Honing
Labyrinth Nexus Season 3, Part 5 Labyrinth Dungeon Fight
I talk more about this in another post but I was able to beat quest level 580 and quest level 650 of the Hell House Labyrinth fight.
My team for both fights was:
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII
Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII
Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII and Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
Labyrinth Nexus Season 3, Part 2 Labyrinth Dungeon Info
The boss of the Labyrinth Nexus Season 3, Part 2 Labyrinth Dungeon fight is Tiamat (Labyrinth). Tiamat is weak to all elements.
Final Fantasy 12 (#ad) chars get Record Synergy for these fights. Depending on the number of chars with Record Synergy in your party, your chars will be able to deal more damage and the damage that Tiamat deals will be lessened.
If you bring a char with no Record Synergy (a.k.a an off-realm char), their damage will be reduced. Having at least 4 FF12 chars is recommended for this fight.
Final Fantasy XII Labyrinth Dungeon Tiamat Quest Level 580 Fight
It’s been a long while since I did this fight so don’t remember all the details anymore but this quest was pretty easy.
Was able to get the win in 29.43 seconds although 2 of my chars did end up dying.
My team for this fight was:
Vaan from Final Fantasy XII
Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII
Vayne Carudas Solidor from Final Fantasy XII
Balthier (Ffamran mied Bunansa) from Final Fantasy XII
Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII
Ashe served as my main DPS. She deals magical lightning damage. Vaan, Balthier, and Vayne were my secondary DPS.
Vaan deals physical wind damage while Balthier deals physical fire damage. Vayne deals dark damage. Depending on his stats, he can be made to deal either physical or magical damage.
Cait Sith served as my healer, buffer, and support. He’s the premier support for mages. Since Ashe was my best FF12 DPS, brought Cait Sith to this fight to help boost her damage.
Final Fantasy XII Labyrinth Dungeon Tiamat Quest Level 650 Fight
The quest level 650 version of Tiamat is way harder than the 580 version. Don’t have a lot of Final Fantasy XII relics so didn’t think I’d actually be able to beat level 650 Tiamat.
Still tried the fight anyway since I was hoping to be able to deal at least 30% damage to Tiamat so I can get the Realm/Elemental x11 ticket reward.
Brought the same team that I used to take on the quest level 580 version of Tiamat.
IIRC, have 3 BDL relics for Ashe - her Synchro Arcane Soul Break 2 (SASB2), her True Arcane Soul Break (TASB), and her Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB). Only have 1 of Vayne’s BDL relics. Have 2 BDL relics for Vaan and 1 for Balthier.
When the fight began, focused on having everyone build up their Soul Break gauges. As soon as they could, had them activate their best Soul Breaks already.
My goal was to deal as much damage as possible before Tiamat killed my team. Was really pleased when I somehow managed to deal at least 30% damage to Tiamat.
Since my chars weren’t dead yet, decided to keep going. Eventually, Tiamat was indeed able to kill all my chars. But surprisingly, was able to get him down to 32.8% HP before that happened.
Gonna wait until I can get more Final Fantasy XII relics before trying this quest again unless we get another time-limited campaign or something.
Labyrinth Nexus Season 3, Part 1 Labyrinth Dungeon Info
The boss of the Labyrinth Nexus Season 3, Part 1 Labyrinth Dungeon fight is Alexander (Labyrinth). Alexander is only weak to the dark element.
There are 2 versions of Alexander, one that’s weak to physical attacks and another that’s weak to magical attacks.
Labyrinth Dungeon Alexander Quest Level 580 Fight
Since I have Cait Sith, decided to take on the magical and dark-weak version of the quest level 580 Alexander Labyrinth Dungeon fight.
It’s been a while since I did this fight so don’t remember all the details anymore but also found this quest pretty easy. Was able to get the win in 32.62 seconds.
My team was:
Ultimecia from Final Fantasy VIII
Cloud of Darkness from Final Fantasy III
Cid Raines from Final Fantasy XIII
Deuce from Final Fantasy Type-0
Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII
Labyrinth Dungeon Alexander Quest Level 650 Fight
Also chose to take on the magical and dark-weak version of the quest level 650 Alexander Labyrinth Dungeon fight. Brought the same team that I used to take on the quest level 580 version of Alexander.
The quest level 650 version of Alexander was way harder than the 580 version.
My magical dark elemental team is pretty good. It’s definitely better than my Final Fantasy 12 realm team.
Ultimecia and Cid Raines served as my main DPS since I have multiple BDL relics for them.
Only have 1 BDL relic for the Cloud of Darkness so they served as my secondary DPS. They were also my Chain holder. And they were in charge of lowering Alexander’s resistance to the dark element.
As usual, Cait Sith did a really good job in supporting and buffing my magical DPS. He couldn’t be my sole healer for this fight though since Alexander deals a lot of damage.
Also needed an actual healer who can resurrect the party if needed. So that’s why I brought in Deuce.
My magical dark elemental team did really well in this fight. In fact, they did so well that I actually thought that I’ll be able to get the win. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
Alexander was down to 8.4% HP when things started going wrong. Ultimecia died then the Cloud of Darkness, Cait Sith and Deuce got hit with the stone debuff.
Cid Raines was still alive and free to move although he did end up being afflicted with the doom debuff.
Raines was at full HP and he was still under the protection of Deuce’s barrier. He has a full Soul Break bar but, IIRC, by now, I’d already used up all of his BDL relics.
Kept going since Raines was still alive but the fight didn’t last much longer. Cid was able to get Alexander down to 7.0% HP before he got hit with the paralyze debuff.
Argh! Was so freaking close already. I really thought that I was gonna be able to get the win. Too bad that wasn’t the case at all.
Labyrinth Dungeon Alexander Quest Level 650 Fight Take 2
Already got the Realm/Elemental x11 ticket reward and while it’d be nice to get the Scroll of Honing as well, I didn’t really mind missing out on it.
I was already prepared to miss out on it since I didn’t think that I’d be able to clear all of these quest level 650 fights anyway.
So after getting the tickets, was gonna just walk away from these fights then revisit them again later on when I get new relics that can help me deal with these quests.
But since I was able to get so close to beating the quest level 650 version of magical-weak Alexander, decided to try this fight again.
Brought the same team as before but this time I dropped Deuce and replaced her with Lenna Charlotte Tycoon from Final Fantasy V. Have more of Lenna’s Soul Breaks and I thought she might do better than Deuce here.
It’s been a while since I did this fight so don’t remember all the details anymore but this time got even closer to being able to beat Alexander.
Was able to get him down to 1.5% HP. Unfortunately, my chars got hit with the stone debuff again. This time, all of them except for Ultimecia got petrified. Kept going, but it wasn’t long before Alexander finished off Ultimecia.
Argh! This was really frustrating. Was so close already. If dual cast had procced for a few of my DPS or something, might have been able to get the win. Sigh.
Maybe I could and should have tried again but I didn’t feel like it anymore. Was just getting really pissed off and annoyed with this fight. Decided to just try again later when I get new dark tech.
Conclusion
So what about you? Have you done any of these Labyrinth Nexus fights yet? How did it go? What team did you use? What do you think about these quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Labyrinth Nexus Campaign
The Labyrinth Nexus campaign just started in the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game.
This campaign gives a set of time-limited missions that requires you to clear 3 Labyrinth Nexus fights in order to get all the rewards.
The Labyrinth Nexus fights are in the Labyrinth Dungeons. They’re quest level 650. The fights and their corresponding rewards are as follows:
deal at least 10% damage to Salamander - 1 mythril
deal at least 30% damage to Salamander - 1 Realm/Elemental x11 ticket
defeat Salamander - 1 Scroll of Honing
deal at least 10% damage to Kraken - 1 mythril
deal at least 30% damage to Kraken - 1 Realm/Elemental x11 ticket
defeat Kraken - 1 Scroll of Honing
deal at least 10% damage to Snow Giant - 1 mythril
deal at least 30% damage to Snow Giant - 1 Realm/Elemental x11 ticket
defeat Snow Giant - 1 Scroll of Honing
These enemies have 2 versions, 1 that’s weak to physical attacks and another that’s weak to magical attacks.
Snow Giant is weak to the fire element. Salamander is weak to the water element. Kraken is weak to the thunder element.
When these fights first showed up, I just ignored them since they were permanent content and I didn’t think I had enough firepower to defeat the aforementioned bosses.
Then this Labyrinth Nexus Campaign happened. At the very least, I wanted to get the mythril and tickets before the time-limited missions ended.
Since I only needed to deal at least 30% damage to these enemies for the tickets and mythril, I thought I should be able to manage this with my elemental teams. Well, hopefully anyway.
Of course, it’d be nice to get the Scrolls of Honing too. These can be used to hone certain Soul Breaks.
For instance, if you max hone an Awakened Arcane Soul Break, you’ll be able to use it twice per fight instead of just once. It takes a lot of resources to hone these Soul Breaks though.
While I’d love to get the Scrolls of Honing, really didn’t think I’d be able to beat these bosses, at least not yet. Would need a lot more top-tier relics to power up my teams and make these battles as easy as possible.
Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 3 Dungeon
Kraken is the boss of the Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 3 dungeon. Decided to try fighting the magical-weak version of Kraken since it felt like my magical thunder team was stronger than my physical one.
My team and their Soul Breaks were as follows:
Shantotto from Final Fantasy XI
True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), Salvation Scythe
Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB), Chain Thunder Play
Awakened Arcane Soul Break 1 (AASB1), Federation Demon
Ultra Soul Break (USB), A Thousand Suns
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF), Ancient Magic Burst II
Chain Soul Break 1 (CSB1), Frightening Lightning
Legend Materia Relic 1 (LMR1), Master Caster
Desch from Final Fantasy III
USB, Roar of Duty
CSB, Lightning Embodied
Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII
TASB, Apex Heaven’s Wrath
SASB2, Channeling Bolt
AASB, Northswain’s Bolt
USB1, Empyrean’s Edict
LMR2, Chosen Future
Cait Sith from Final Fantasy VII
Glint+ Soul Break (G+), Planetary Protector
AASB, Hit the Jackpot
SASB, Miraculous Luck
USB1, Danger Dice
USB2, Random Summon?
Super Soul Break 1 (SSB1), Moogle Dance
LMR, Divided Loyalties
LMR+, Hastening (Cait Sith)
Lenna Charlotte Tycoon from Final Fantasy V
SASB1, White Magic Mastery
AASB1, Champion of Life
AASB2, Spreading One’s Wings
G+1, Tycoon’s Protection
USB1, Moogle Boost
USB3, Essence of Water
USB4, Princesses’ Prayer
Burst Soul Break 1 (BSB1), Phoenix of Tycoon
Shantotto and Ashe were my main DPS. Lenna was my healer. Cait Sith was my support. Desch was my Chain holder. He was also responsible for lowering Kraken’s resistance to thunder.
Everyone was wearing White-Armored Echoes, an accessory that adds 500 additional HP and moderate resistance to all elements. Have everyone’s Hero Abilities except for Desch.
Have an Odin (Ultra Magic) as my main Magicite with the following passives: Blade Ward, Spell Ward, Lord’s Seal: Ice, Lord’s Seal: Earth, and Lord’s Seal: Lightning.
My sub Magicites were Ramuh with 2 Empower Lightnings, Leviathan with Health Boon and Healing Boon, Madeen with 2 Magic Boon, and Madeen with Health Boon and Fast Act.
I hate this fight. Kraken is so freaking tanky. He’s also really fast and he hits very hard and deals way too much damage.
The battle had barely begun when I had to restart because Kraken just kept on attacking without giving me the chance to set up and heal.
Already playing on speed 1 and yet it still feels way too fast. Can’t wait for the Wait Mode feature to be added to the Labyrinth Dungeons. Might make this fight more bearable.
As it was, had to restart multiple times before I finally managed to get past the first few turns without dying.
Really needed to be quick when it came to tapping on Soul Breaks and abilities and such otherwise Kraken was gonna end up killing everyone before I could cast a healing Soul Break.
Since my main goal was just to take off 30% of Kraken’s health, didn’t bother to be conservative with my abilities and Soul Breaks uses. Just used everything right away and tried to deal as much damage as possible.
At first, had my chars (except for Lenna who had Mako Might (lets a char begin a fight with 2 Soul Break bars) so I could use her AASB2 right away for the healing and buffs) build up their gauges.
As soon as they had 2, started casting Soul Breaks. Had Desch use his Chain then he was back to spamming Plasma Shock, an ability that has a chance to imperil lightning.
When Desch had enough bars and I didn’t need to recast the Chain, had him use his USB for more imperils.
Had Ashe and Shantotto use their TASBs then cast either their Awakenings or Syncs. Then I just had them spam their abilities.
Lenna focused on keeping everyone at max HP. She can also lower the Attack, Magic, Defense, and Resistance of all enemies via the Passionate Salsa ability. Some of her Soul Breaks can also reduce the delay of the actions of her allies.
Cait Sith is one of the top supports for magical-based teams. He enabled Ashe and Shantotto to deal even more damage. He can also heal so he helped Lenna keep everyone at full health.
His Hero Ability lowers the Defense and Resistance of all enemies aside from restoring a bit of the party’s HP. Also had Cait equipped with Allegro con Moto, an ability that reduces the offensive magic casting time of all allies for 3 turns. This helped my DPS move even faster.
Can’t remember for sure now exactly what happened, and I forgot to take a screenshot, but I actually managed to deal a total of 40.2% damage to Kraken. Wasn’t able to beat him but it’s fine.
At least I got the ticket and mythril. Don’t really want to do this fight again right now. Maybe I’ll revisit Kraken when they implement the Wait Mode feature here and if I can get more lightning relics that will make my team stronger.
Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 1 Dungeon
Snow Giant is the boss of the Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 1 dungeon. Fire is my strongest element. Both my physical and magical fire teams seem viable and stacked enough for this fight.
Decided to go against the physical-weak version of Snow Giant because I want to use Genesis Rhapsodos.
Currently, Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (#ad) is my absolute, most favorite Final Fantasy char. He’s the reason why I’m playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
Genesis is a physical fire DPS, and I have all of his relics so, of course, he was gonna be my main damage dealer for this Labyrinth Nexus quest.
Here’s a list of my team and their relics:
Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), LOVELESS
Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF), Light of Doom
Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB), Purgatorial Wave
Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB), Genesis Rhapsody
Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB), SOLDIER’s Epic
Ultra Soul Break (USB), Apocalypse Genesis
Glint+ Soul Break 1 (G+1), Epic of Creation
Glint+ Soul Break 2 (G+2), Epic of Heroism
Glint Soul Break (G), Epic of Destruction
Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Fierce Opposition
Maxed Gen’s Crystal Waters. Completed his Record Board. Created his Hero Ability, Genesis Slash or Creation Laceration.
Gave him the best equipment and accessories and such that I have and that he could equip.
Currently, he has 931 Magia Points. So far, he has 100 points in fire attack, ice defense, dark defense, attack, defense, resistance, and HP.
Then he has 33 points in all the other elemental defenses. Someday, I hope for him to have 100 in all the stats. Getting Magia Points takes time though.
Not exactly farming for it but since I almost always use Gen for basically everything in this game, he’s always getting some Magia.
It’s just that you need to do several battles before you can even get 1 Magia point so, yeah, it’s pretty slow-going.
Tyro from Final Fantasy Record Keeper
AASB1, Fantasy Grimoire Vol. I
AOSB3, Triple Phase
AOSB1, Link of Light
USB4, Arbiter’s Tome
USB3, Divine Veil Grimoire
USB1, Warder’s Apocrypha
Overstrike Soul Break (OSB), Arbiter’s Apocrypha
G, Purifying Grimoire
BSB, Keeper’s Tome
Unique Soul Break, Sentinel’s Grimoire
LMR1, Archival Secrets
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
TASB1, Sunburst or Supernova
TASB2, Jenova
LBO, Dark Illumination
SASB1, Demonic Lord
SASB2, Crimson Octaslash
AASB1, Stigma
AASB3, Flames of Nibelheim
AOSB1, Setting Sun
USB1, Heartless Angel
USB2, Zanshin
USB3, Crimson Lotus
G+1 Shimmer Flash
G+2, Fervent Shadow
BSB2, Octaslash
BSB1, Reunion
Super Soul Break (SSB), Transience
Unique Soul Break, Nibelheim Nightmare
Unique Soul Break, Hell’s Gate
LMR1, Fateful Secret
LMR2, Apocalyptic Hero
LMR3, Cruelest Cut
I’m only missing 6 of Sephiroth’s relics:
AOSB2, Purgatorial Flames
G, Jenova’s Might
OSB, Heaven’s Light
SSB1, Black Materia
Unique Soul Break, Shadow Flare
AASB2, Underworld Guardian
Five of those relics can be acquired from the The Record Lab using Anima Lenses. The only one that isn’t Lensable is his AASB2.
I hope someday Sephi’s second Awakening will also be added to the The Record Lab. It’s basically the only relic I’m missing for him so I’d like to have it even if it isn’t that good. Besides, more BDL options is always welcome.
If I can get Sephi’s AASB2, then I’ll probably buy the rest of his Lensable relics. Most, if not all, of those are outdated now which is why I haven’t bothered to buy them.
But if I could fully complete Seph, then I’ll get those relics even if I’ll never end up using them.
Sephiroth is primarily a physical dark elemental DPS but he recently got some fire tech.
Since obtaining most of his fire relics, I started adding him to my fire team as my secondary DPS. Naturally, Genesis is my main and primary DPS.
Most of the time, I run a mostly FF7-team consisting of Genesis, Sephiroth, Vincent Valentine (from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII), Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough (from Final Fantasy VII), and Balthier.
Aerith’s a healer and Vincent is another fire DPS with some utility. Depending on how he’s geared, he can deal either physical or magical damage.
I have his Chain Soul Break but I can’t use it for this team because it boosts magical DPS. Would have wanted to run Vincent for this fight as well but I couldn’t bring him since I needed to bring a support, not yet another DPS.
Balthier (Ffamran mied Bunansa) from Final Fantasy XII
Chain Soul Break 2 (CSB2), Incendiary Trap
AASB1, Untouchable Hellfire
AOSB, Tales of the Past
USB2, Edge of Treachery
G+2, Scarlet Sky Fluke
BSB2, Spark of Change
BSB1, Gatling Gun
LMR1, Leading Man
LMR2, A Pirate’s Life
Lenna Charlotte Tycoon from Final Fantasy V
SASB1, White Magic Mastery
AASB1, Champion of Life
AASB2, Spreading One’s Wings
G+1, Tycoon’s Protection
USB1, Moogle Boost
USB3, Essence of Water
USB4, Princesses’ Prayer
BSB1, Phoenix of Tycoon
Genesis and Sephiroth were my DPS. Lenna was my healer. Balthier was my Chain holder. He was also in charge of lowering the enemy’s resistance to the fire element. Tyro was my support.
Aside from Genesis, both Lenna and Seph have their Hero Abilities as well. Sephi also has his Hero Equipment. Too bad Gen’s Hero Equipment isn’t available yet. Balthier’s, Lenna’s, and Tyro’s aren’t available yet either.
My Odin (Ultra Attack) has the same passives as my Odin (Ultra Magic). My sub Magicites were Ifrit with 2 Empower Fire, Madeen with 2 Deadly Strikes, Madeen with Health Boon and Fast Act, and Shiva with Health Boon and Healing Boon.
It’s really too bad that I don’t have a Lord’s Seal: Fire yet. This would have further increased the fire damage of my chars. Also would have wanted a Lord’s Gauntlet: Physical Fire for Genesis, at least until his Hero Equipment shows up.
Unfortunately, to get those 2, I need to beat the physical-weak and water-weak version of Argent Odin (AOdin) or White Odin (WOdin).
I’ve already beaten a few WOdins which was how I got the Seals that I’ve already inherited on my main Odin Magicites but am in dire need of more water firepower so can’t do this particular AOdin fight yet.
Anyway, Snow Giant seems to be as fast as Kraken in that I needed to restart the quest multiple times before I could finally get past the first few turns without anyone or all my chars dying before I could heal them.
Had everyone except Lenna (who was once again equipped with Mako Might) build up their gauges first. Balthier used his Chain then spammed Burnt Offering (similar to Plasma Shock, excetp it imperils fire). If he had the gauges to spare, had him use his USB2 for more fire imperil.
Lenna focused on keeping everyone alive as usual. Tyro boosted the damage of my physical DPS with his AASB1 and USB4. Had him Entrust his spare gauges to Lenna so she can keep using her Soul Breaks to heal and speed up the party.
Tyro isn’t the best physical support out there but he’s the only one I have so have to make do with him. He does work well enough although I do wish I have some of the other top-tier physical supports so I can further boost Genesis’s damage output.
Had Genesis and Sephiroth use their BDL relics then just spammed their Hero Abilities, or Sync commands if I was using their Sync. IIRC, had them use their TASBs first then their Syncs. When that ran out, used their Awakenings. Also had Genesis use his Glint+1 and Glint+2.
Was very pleased when I managed to deal 30% damage to Snow Giant. Yay for another mythril and ticket.
My fire team did so well even without a better physical support, a Lord’s Seal: Fire and a Lord’s Gauntlet: Physical Fire.
In fact, they did so well that the fight wasn’t over yet. Since everyone was still alive, kept going.
Genesis and Sephiroth dealt so much damage that I actually started thinking that it might be possible for me to win my first Labyrinth Dungeon fight.
Alas, it wasn’t meant to be. A couple of mistakes combined with Snow Giant being annoying with his crappy mechanics and such cost me the win.
First, these Crystals showed up. IIRC, this happened a bit after I dealt 30% damage to Snow Giant.
Didn’t bother reading more details about Snow Giant and exactly what he does since my main goal was just to get the ticket and mythril but I did glance at the in-game description a little.
Apparently, multiple of these Crystals will show up then you need to deal at least 10k damage by using a Soul Break or Historia Crystal or Magicite. Then all the Crystals will detonate and will deal damage to Snow Giant.
However, Snow Giant can also get these Crystals to detonate. If he does, then a lot of damage will be dealt to your chars.
Got lucky in that when the first batch of Crystals showed up, was somehow able to get them to detonate by dealing the required 10k damage.
I think it was because I just summoned my Odin Magicite again or maybe it was because either Sephi or Gen had used one of their Soul Breaks.
Can’t remember for sure now but it was a very pleasant surprise when those Crystals suddenly exploded and dealt quite a bit of damage to Snow Giant. But then the Crystals spawned again soon afterwards.
Unfortunately, this time, I failed to deal the required 10k damage so it was Snow Giant who detonated the Crystals. My chars nearly died. Was able to heal them but things kinda started going downhill after that.
One mistake I can distinctly recall was accidentally tapping on Sephiroth’s LBO. This wouldn’t have been so bad if it actually dealt damage except it didn’t. It activated and did a grand total of 0 damage for all 5 of its hits.
Sephi’s LBO deals pure dark damage. Apparently, Snow Giant nulls everything except fire elemental damage.
If I was gonna use a Limit Break Overstrike, it should have been Genesis’s instead since that one deals pure fire damage and would have most likely hit for the max of 99999x5.
Ugh. Shouldn’t have bothered equipping some of Seph’s dark tech. After equipping all of the fire tech I have for him, he still had a few slots left so I added some of his dark Soul Breaks.
I thought I could use some of these as back up in case I needed more damage. If only I’d known Snow Giant was resistant to everything except fire. Sigh.
Was able to drop Snow Giant down to 19.7% HP before everyone in my party died. Argh! Feels so close to winning. Just a bit more and maybe I’d have been able to make it. Ah, well. It’s fine. At least I got the ticket and mythril.
Also, this really wasn’t bad at all considering I’m stuck using Tyro as my physical support and I’ve yet to beat water-weak Argent Odin for more buffs for my fire team. Maybe a couple more tries might get me the win.
But I don’t really feel like revisiting this fight again right now. It’s too annoying and frustrating. I could just try again once the Wait Mode feature gets added here and after I beat water-weak White Odin.
Heck, I could even just wait until Genesis’s Hero Equipment gets added to the game, and/or I get more fire tech and a better physical support than Tyro.
There’s no rush anyway unless we get another time-limited campaign or something.
Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 2 Dungeon
Salamander is the boss of the Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 2 dungeon. I was really dreading having to do this fight because, as aforementioned, my water teams really need more firepower.
I worried I might not even be able to deal the required 30% damage to get the mythril and ticket reward.
My physical water team seems way better than its magical counterpart so decided to take on the physical-weak version of Salamander.
My team and their relics were as follows:
Bartz Klauser from Final Fantasy V
Dual Awakening Soul Break 1 (DASB1), Awoken Rousing Winds
TASB2, Master of Wind
TASB3, Master of Fire
SASB3, Aqueous Bond
SASB2, Earthen Bond
SASB1, Ethereal Bond
AASB5, Flame Awakening
OSB, Hand of the Crystals
G+4, Blazing Power
G+3, Fluid Power
G+1, Quest of the Four
G2, Tetrad Beam
LMR1, Fragments of Grace
My physical water team is so bad that I had to resort to using Bartz. I have a lot of his BDL relics but the only water BDL relic that I have for him is his Sync 3. The rest all deal damage in a variety of other elements.
So have to go through a few hoops just to get him to work on this fight. Having his Hero Ability, which deals fire, water, wind, and earth damage, and the wording on some of his Soul Breaks makes this possible.
So first is I use his TASB3 (his TASB2 would work as well. It doesn’t really matter which one I use for this fight since neither will give him a water elemental infusion anyway). Then I cast his DASB1.
Bartz’s TASB3 will infuse him with fire. His DASB1 will overwrite that and infuse him with wind. So I have to use his G+3 to infuse him with water and overwrite the wind infusion.
Although his DASB1 infuses him with wind, it gives him Dual Awoken Spellblade Mode instead of Dual Awoken Wind Mode. This lets him use any Spellblade ability regardless of its element.
So with his Hero Ability, which is a Spellblade-type of ability, and with his G+3, he can deal water damage even after using his DASB1.
Once the effects of Bartz’s DASB1 run out, I can use his Sync 3 which will automatically infuse him with water.
If the effects of that run out and the fight is still going, then I have to resort to using his AASB5. This infuses him with fire but, similar to his DASB1, gives him Awoken Spellblade Mode so I just need to overwrite the fire infusion again.
Unfortunately, Glint+ Soul Breaks can only be used once so now I have to resort to using Bartz’s G2 to infuse him with water.
Glints need 1 Soul Break bar before they can be cast though so in order to use Bartz’s Awakening then Glint right away, he needs 3 bars.
Tyro from Final Fantasy Record Keeper
AASB1, Fantasy Grimoire Vol. I
AOSB3, Triple Phase
AOSB1, Link of Light
USB4, Arbiter’s Tome
USB3, Divine Veil Grimoire
USB1, Warder’s Apocrypha
Overstrike Soul Break (OSB), Arbiter’s Apocrypha
G, Purifying Grimoire
BSB, Keeper’s Tome
Unique Soul Break, Sentinel’s Grimoire
LMR1, Archival Secrets
Lenna Charlotte Tycoon from Final Fantasy V
SASB1, White Magic Mastery
AASB1, Champion of Life
AASB2, Spreading One’s Wings
G+1, Tycoon’s Protection
USB1, Moogle Boost
USB3, Essence of Water
USB4, Princesses’ Prayer
BSB1, Phoenix of Tycoon
Yuffie Kisaragi from Final Fantasy VII
CSB, Smoke Shell
AASB1, Sublime Doom
AOSB1, Freewheeling Bloodfest
USB2, Freewheeling Gauntlet
G+1, Ebb and Flow
G2, Stillwater Crag
G1, Freewheeling Reflection
LMR, Finders Keepers
Yuffie served as my Chain holder. She also imperiled water via the Aquatic Weakness ability. Too bad her USB2 doesn’t imperil water as well.
She also had to act as my third DPS with her Awakening since my water team is just that lacking.
Tidus from Final Fantasy X
CSB, A Fleeting Dream
TASB, Apex Blitz Ace
AASB1, Rising Dream
USB2, Quick Rush
USB1, Day to Remember
G+, Sphere Form
G, Ace Form
Yuffie’s Chain is way better than Tidus’s so opted to use hers over his. Tidus was better as a DPS anyway.
The only problem was that I’m missing another BDL relic for Tidus. If only I had even just one of his Syncs and/or his second Awakening.
For my main Magicite, used Odin (Ultra Attack) and for my sub Magicites, I used Leviathan with 2 Empower Water, Ifrit with Healing Boon and Health Boon, Madeen with Health Boon and Fast Act, and Madeen with 2 Deadly Strikes.
Water Elemental Banner
Since my water team was so bad, decided I’d better use the Realm/Elemental x11 tickets that I just got on the Water Elemental banner. Hopefully, I can get something that can help me deal even just 30% damage to Salamander.
Of course, what I really wanted was more of Bartz’s water tech and Tidus’s Sync 2 (he has 2 Syncs and the second is way better than the first) and/or AASB2. I’ll gladly take a second BDL Soul Break for a char I already have a BDL relic for though.
Would also love to be able to power up my magical water team. If I can just get more magical water BDL relics, I should be able to run a magical water team then I can use Cait Sith as my support instead of being stuck with Tyro.
Yeah, I know. None of the above is gonna happen. I’m more likely to get trash than anything good considering how bloated the pool is for this banner. Can only hope to somehow get lucky or for there to be a miracle or something. LOL.
Anyway, to my surprise and relief (was really dreading seeing only 1 gold and having that be nothing more than a useless 5-star item), I got 3 golds.
Then Dr. Mog actually showed up and turned 1 of them into a 7-star item. Hell, yes! Now just need to hope that this is a Sync.
Please be a Sync. And please be a Sync for a char whose Awakening I already have or whose Awakening I can buy from the The Record Lab.
The 7-star item I got was this ball. When I saw this, I was so totally sure that I just got something that belongs to Wakka (from Final Fantasy X), which is unfortunate because I don’t have anything for him.
Hopefully, this is at least his Sync so maybe I can make him work somehow. If his Awakening is in the The Record Lab, then that’ll definitely make him usable.
The first gold I got was Tidus’s 5-star LMR2, Blitz Basics. It gives a chance to “reduce delay of the user’s actions for one turn when a water ability triggers”.
It’s new, it’s for Tidus, and he’s on my water team, but this doesn’t seem good compared to the ones that I already have equipped to him.
Right now, he’s got one that increases his water damage a bit and another that gives a chance to dualcast water abilities. Those seem way better than Blitz Basics so meh. Not gonna bother equipping this to Tidus.
The second gold I got was a dupe 6-star Ultra Soul Break that belongs to Kimahri Ronso (from Final Fantasy X). Ahh, if only this had been something new instead. Don’t even have a single BDL relic for Kimahri so can’t use him.
As for the 7-star item - well, like I said, I was so sure that this belongs to Wakka but when I got to the draw results screen, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that I was wrong. But I’m so happy to be wrong because guess who actually owns this ball.
Yeah, that’s right. Just got Tidus’s SASB1, Blitz Yell. Hell, yes! So freaking happy to see this. Yes, his Sync 2’s better but having 1 of his Syncs is better than having none at all.
At least I finally have another BDL relic for Tidus. My chances of being able to deal 30% damage to Salamander have just gone up.
This was such an awesome pull that I should have stopped here. I could try the Salamander fight now and see how it goes.
But since I do need more water tech, decided to throw my 2 (the third ticket was the one you get every 15 days you log on to the game) remaining tickets here.
Unfortunately, those tickets didn’t give me anything as good or as useful as the one that gave me Tidus’s Sync.
The second ticket gave me 2 golds - Edge Geraldine’s (from Final Fantasy IV) 5-star BSB and Famed Mimic Gogo’s (from Final Fantasy V) 6-star LMR+. Both are new but meh.
Don’t have a single BDL relic for Edge and BSB’s are outdated by now so this isn’t getting used at all.
Gogo’s LMR+ is useful for the water imperil and, IIRC, I do have one of his Awakenings, but I can’t deny being disappointed at not seeing an Awakening or Sync on this pull.
The third ticket gave me 2 golds - Gogo’s 5-star LMR and Wakka’s 6-star Limit Break Glint (LBG), Water Flash (Wakka). Both are new but also meh.
Ahh, if only I could get Gogo’s Sync to go with all these LMRs I keep getting for him. Sigh. As for Wakka, he’s useless until I can get a BDL relic for him.
What a waste of tickets. Ah, well. At least I got Tidus’s Sync.
Labyrinth Nexus Season 2, Part 2 Dungeon
So after equipping Tidus’s Sync, it was now time to try the Salamander fight. Just like Snow Giant and Kraken, Salamander is really freaking fast so had to restart a couple of times before I could get past the first few turns.
A few turns or so after I started dealing damage, Tidus, who was on slot 3 ended up getting hit with the Berserk debuff.
This prevented me from using any of his abilities or Soul Breaks so he just automatically used his regular attack which sucks and barely deals damage.
Had to restart the fight. IIRC, moved Yuffie to this slot so Tidus could keep on dealing damage alongside Bartz without being interrupted.
Had to restart the fight multiple times before I could get past this part. Yuffie getting Berserked for a bit was fine but couldn’t have her in this state forever since she needs to recast her Chain when the first one ends.
Also still needed her to keep on imperiling water. So I was trying to get Tyro to use Purifying Grimoire to remove the debuff. Also tried to time his USB1, which allows the party to avoid 1 debuff. Even equipped Ultra Cure (heals and esunas its target) on Lenna.
After finally being able to get past that annoying Berserk debuff, was able to keep going. Just when I was close to dealing 30% damage to the boss, my chars were suddenly hit with this attack that apparently paralyzed all of them.
No one could move, and I could do nothing but watch as Salamander kept on attacking and attacking until everyone died. Eff! Also, WTF just happened?
Tried again and again but the same thing kept happening. Since even Lenna couldn’t move, there was no way to Ultra Cure the status effect away.
Couldn’t use Tyro’s Purifying Grimoire either. Even his USB1 didn’t seem to be working, or maybe I just couldn’t get the timing right.
Was getting really annoyed and frustrated because I was so close to 30% already. Just needed to deal a little bit more damage to get the time-limited rewards.
So I decided to check out the AI for this battle. That was when I found out that on Phase 1, Turn 9, Salamander would inflict the Berserk debuff on whoever is on slot 3.
In order to instantly shrug off Berserk, a char needs to have at least 900 MND. Healers naturally have high MND since their healing output is based on said stat.
My Lenna has 1k+ MND so I put her on slot 3. Now I don’t need to worry about the Berserk debuff on that turn anymore.
On Phase 1, Turn 14, Salamander uses Labyrinth Maze Gate. Looks like this is the one that’s been hitting all my chars and preventing them from moving. Apparently, there’s no way to block this attack.
It deals damage and Interrupts, Paralyzes, and Slows everyone. It seems like the only way to deal with this is to get to Phase 2 of the fight before Salamander can use this attack. Phase 2 happens as soon as Salamander drops down to 70% HP.
Getting to Phase 2 was easier said than done though. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried and tried this fight, only to be hit with Labyrinth Maze Gate.
I’m so close to getting Salamander down to 70% HP but just can’t seem to make it happen before that blasted Labyrinth Maze Gate hits my party. It’s so frustrating and annoying.
Just need a bit more damage. Just need a few more dualcasts of Bartz’s and Tidus’s offensive abilities to proc.
Kept on trying because I was so close to the required theshold that I didn’t want to just give up now, especially after I’ve already spent so much time on this.
After what felt like forever, I finally somehow managed to get past Phase 1 before being hit with Labyrinth Maze Gate. Hell, yes!
Ended up dying a few turns or so later. Only managed to get Salamander down to 60.3% HP. But I don’t care. I’m just glad I’m finally done with this fight.
Don’t want to do this again anytime soon. Will probably just wait for more powercreep before going back to this. At the very least, I could at least wait until I can get a Lord’s Seal: Water plus a bit lot more water tech.
Water Elemental Banner
Decided to throw the ticket I just got from dealing 39.7% damage to Salamander on the Water Elemental banner.
Was thinking to myself, this ticket better be worth it after the amount of trouble I had to go through just to get it. Considering my last 2 pulls though, was doubtful that I’d get anything good.
This draw gave me 2 golds. Was very pleased when Dr. Mog actually showed up and turned 1 of them into a 7-star item. Yay! Hopefully, this one will be new, good, and useful.
Ended up with this sword but I don’t recognize it. At least no Rank Up screen showed up so this should be new.
Got to the draw results screen and - OMFG! I did get something new, and it belongs to Tidus.
That’s right. I could hardly believe this but I just got his SASB2, Blitz Ace. Hell, yes! So freaking happy to see this.
I think I might actually have a shot at defeating physical and water-weak Argent Odin now. We’ll see, I guess.
Anyway, the other gold I got was nothing more than a dupe of Trey’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) 5-star Glint Soul Break. Meh.
But it’s fine. The presence of Tidus’s Sync on this pull more than makes up for this useless dupe.
Conclusion
So what about you? Have you done any of these Labyrinth Nexus fights yet? How did it go? What team did you use? What do you think about these quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Japan Current Progress Part 9
Here’s a list of my current progress in the Japanese version of the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (#ad) (FFRK) mobile game.
Before that, let me start by saying the reason why I started playing the Japanese version of FFRK. It’s the same reason why I’m also playing the English version. The answer is Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Currently, he’s my absolute, most favorite Final Fantasy character. He’s in Final Fantasy Record Keeper, so that’s why I’m also here.
Labyrinth Dungeon Season 2 Group F Water Banners 1 and 2 Relics List
The Labyrinth Dungeon Season 2 Group F Water Banner 1 contains the following relics:
Bartz Klauser’s (from Final Fantasy V) Coral Blade True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB)
Paine's (from Final Fantasy X) Full Throttle Edge+ TASB
Paine's Sword of Dark Knight Paine Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB)
Aria Benett’s (from Final Fantasy III) Ballad Crown SASB
Leila's (from Final Fantasy II) Danjuro SASB
Serah Farron’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) Guardian Amulet SASB
Bartz's Lohengrin SASB
Leila's Blue Armlet Chain Soul Break+ (CSB+)
Serah's Crown of Splendor Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB)
Tidus's Nightbringer AASB
Paine's Shock Shield Glint+ Soul Break (G+)
Aria's Luminous Robe G+
The second banner contains the following relics:
Meia's (from Final Fantasy I) Diablada TASB
Meia's Avalon Breath SASB
Tidus's Mirage Sword SASB
Famed Mimic Gogo's (from Final Fantasy V) El Dorado SASB
Meia's Lune Noire AASB
Famed Mimic Gogo's Polymorph Rod AASB
Arc's (from Final Fantasy III) Staff of the Devout AASB
Meia's Cornucopia Chain Soul Break (CSB)
Meia's Witch's Origin G+
Arc's Lambent Hat G+
Famed Mimic Gogo's Mythril Knife Legend Materia+ (LMR+)
Arc's Laurel Crown LMR+
Characters with Water Soul Breaks
My only dupe is Bartz’s Sync on banner 1. I considered pulling on these banners to shore up my water team since it’s severely lacking. My only water Sync is Bartz. My water AASBs are Paine for physical and Rydia (from Final Fantasy IV) for magical. I also have Tidus’s TASB and his physical Chain. My magic water Chains are Gogo’s and Strago Magus’s (from Final Fantasy VI).
Got a few other water relics but nothing all that remarkable or of use like, AFAIK, I have Arc’s G+, but what use is that to me if I have nothing else for him? I may have Gogo’s and Strago’s Chains but I don’t have a single BDL relic for either of them and my magic water DPS is basically just Rydia with her AASB so what good does that do me? How could I form a magic water team with only these relics?
Physical water seems a bit more promising with Tidus, Bartz, and Paine but it doesn’t seem to be enough. For Bartz, I have a few of his Glints but I don’t even know if one of those is for his water tech (he has relics for lots of elements). Having his water Sync is nice and all, but SASBs can only be used once per battle, so what’s he gonna do once the effects of his Sync have run out? He’ll be useless if I don’t have other BDL relics for him or even just an Ultra Soul Break (USB) or 2.
To my surprise, I actually have quite a bit of Paine’s and Tidus’s relics. I was under the impression the only decent thing I have for Paine was her AASB while for Tidus it was his TASB and his Chain. Apparently though, I also have one of Paine’s USBs and her AOSB and possibly a few more that I can’t remember right now. Too bad I don’t have any other BDL relic for her though.
For Tidus, I have one of his USBs, his Limit Break Overstrike (LBO) or Limit Break Over Flow (LBOF) and possibly a few more that I also can’t remember right now. Don’t have any of his Syncs or AASB though which sucks.
So when these water banners dropped, I eyed them with interest, especially after hearing how good the featured relics were. Banner 1 has mostly newly released stuff while banner 2 contains rerun items but since I only really pull on banners with Final Fantasy VII chars (especially if they include my fave Genesis), there was the potential to get something good from both banners.
Pull on Water Banners?
Was feeling reluctant about pulling though because:
The rates are so horrible here on Final Fantasy Record Keeper that I always dread pulling. More often than not, I end up with 1/11 that’s either a dupe or a relic that’s useless to me even if it might be new. I still remember that time I spent 500 mythril pulling for Cloud Strife’s (from Final Fantasy VII) TASB and Zack Fair’s (from Final Fantasy VII and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII) SASB and failed to get either.
All that mythril down the drain for nothing. It was such a horrible experience that I don’t think I’m ever gonna forget anytime soon. It was so freaking frustrating and depressing because there was no pity system for that banner unlike in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game.
In DFFOO, it’s fine even if I happen to get unlucky since at least I can pity the featured weapons. So it doesn’t feel like a waste even if I end up spending lots of gems. At least I can still get what I want.
I couldn’t do that for the Cloud and Zack banner though. Even if I kept on throwing mythril on that banner, there was no guarantee that their relics would ever drop.
These water banners have a sort-of pity system although I don’t know how to feel about that. On one hand, it’s great to finally have a pity system. On the other hand, this could have been implemented better. Behold the stamp sheet for these banners:
1 Stamp: 5000 Gysahl Greens
2 Stamps: 50 of each 4-star Mote
3 Stamps: Paine's Psychic Dress Record
4 Stamps: 50 of each 5-star Mote
5 Stamps: 3 Daily Draw Tickets
6 Stamps: 5000 Gysahl Greens
7 Stamps: 10 of each Crystal
8 Stamps: 100 of each 5-star Mote
9 Stamps: 10 of each Crystal
10 Stamps: 1 free pick from Selection A
11 Stamps: 5000 Gyashl Greens
12 Stamps: 7500 Gyashl Greens
13 Stamps: 50 of each 5-star Mote
14 Stamps: 60 Rainbow Crystals
15 Stamps: 1 free pick from Selection B
16 Stamps: 30 of each 6-star Mote
17 Stamps: 90 Rainbow Crystals
18 Stamps: 30 of each 6-star Mote
19 Stamps: 90 Rainbow Crystals
20 Stamps: 1 Soul Break Honing Scroll
You get 1 stamp every time you pull on either one of the water banners. You then get the reward associated with that stamp.
Selection A includes the AASBs on banner 2 as well as the G+ and LMRs. Selection B has the new stuff on banner 1 as well as the Syncs and TASB from banner 2.
In short, you need 500 mythril to pick an item from Selection A and you need 750 mythril to pick an item from Selection B. 500-750 mythril for 1-2 banners is way too much considering FFRK isn’t generous at all when it comes to giving pulling currency. You’d need to skip a lot of events and banners to be able to “pity” a banner or 2. And you can only pick 1 relic from each Selection. What if you miss out on a lot of relics? IIRC, the stamp sheet doesn’t reset.
In contrast to that, on DFFOO, it costs 75k gems to pity an Ex, 75k to pity an LD and 125k to pity a Burst. There’s no limit as to how many times you can pity. 75k and 125k might seem like way too much but it’s really not that bad when you take into consideration just how generous DFFOO is. Seriously, the game practically showers us players with tickets and gems. The rates are pretty good too. Yeah, I’ve had to pity a few times but I’ve also gotten lucky a number of times. It all balances out.
And I never dread pulling on DFFOO. I might be miffed if I end up with a series of crappy draw results or if I have to pity a weapon, but it’s never for long, and I find that I can never really hate this game. Heck, all I need to do is remember how bad FFRK is when compared to DFFOO, and any rage I feel soon goes away. Besides, it usually doesn’t take long before I get something good on DFFOO after a bout of bad luck so it feels like it all evens out in the end.
Also, did I mention how generous DFFOO is? We get lots of celebrations and campaigns that give us multiple first free multi-draws across several banners. They’re so generous that I can pull regularly and still have a stash of resources. Ah, if only FFRK was more like DFFOO. If only Genesis was in DFFOO. Seriously, Genesis in DFFOO when? Genesis being in FFRK and not in DFFOO is pretty much the only thing that Final Fantasy Record Keeper has going for it and why I still play it even though there’s lots of things I hate about it.
Ahem. Sorry, got distracted. Anyway, where was I? Right, was reluctant to pull on these water banners because of the trashy rates. Another thing that made me think twice about pulling was the fact that there wasn’t even a single char from FF7 on this banner. I prefer to pull on banners with FFVII chars, especially if said banner features my fave Genesis.
That’s another thing too. Wouldn’t I be better off just saving my mythril in case a new banner featuring something new for my fave shows up? Genesis just got his TASB though so I was fairly sure he wasn’t gonna get anything new anytime soon although I certainly wouldn’t say no if the game decides to surprise me. I doubt it though.
I mean, if we were talking about the likes of Cloud, I could definitely believe it. Heck, it just happened actually. On the same banner that featured Genesis’s TASB, Cloud got new relics. He got his third Sync and his third Awakening and a brand new Chain Soul Break. Who cares if there are still plenty of chars who don’t even have a single AASB or SASB, right? Just give all the new tech to Cloud and all the other super popular chars, right? LOL.
I get it. Cloud’s a protag and he’s popular so of course, he’s the one who often gets relics even if he doesn’t need them because his old ones are still really good. I like Cloud too. Heck, that’s why I tried to pull for his TASB, remember? Nevertheless, can’t help feeling rather miffed about him always getting new stuff anyway. Can’t help but wish that Genesis could get more relics too. Give him a new SASB or AASB, please. How ‘bout giving him one of those new Limit Break Guardian Summon Soul Breaks (LBGS)?
So I ended up going back and forth on whether to pull on the water banners or not. Couldn’t seem to make up my mind. I was like, I don’t need these chars. Yeah, my water tech sucks, but so what? Maybe I’ll get more via free pulls (at least this game gives a few free pulls sometimes although sometimes, it also only guarantees that you’ll get at least 1 5-star relic which sucks because all the good Soul Breaks are 6-star or higher) or whenever I pull on a banner with an FF7 char and which also features these other chars.
Then I also thought about how I actually need good water tech if I wanted to take on 6-star fire Magicite Ifrit as well as water-weak Argent Odin (also known as White Odin). I need an Ifrit with 2 Empower Fire Passives and an Argent Odin with the Fire Seal to power up my fire team. There was no way I could do any of these fights without a decent water team though.
After thinking about it some more, I eventually decided to go for it. It took me so long to decide though that, by now, there were only like 2 days left before the water banners would go away. I almost wish I missed them. In retrospect, I do wish I had ended up being too late to pull on them.
Water Banner 1 Multi-Draw Results 1
I started with banner 1. Was hoping to get Paine’s tech, particularly her SASB and TASB to go with her AASB. Then I could make her Hero Ability (HA) or Unique Ability (UA). Tidus’s AASB was also welcome to go with his TASB.
Bartz’s TASB was fine although I wouldn’t mind missing it. Too bad his AASB wasn’t here. Hoping I don’t end up duping his Sync. Aria’s SASB seems nice but I don’t have anything else for her and I don’t think she’s gonna be all that useful with only her Sync so I’d rather get other relics than this.
Leila’s water Chain buffs physical attack and it’s better than Tidus’s so I’d love to get it. Then she can be my physical water Chain holder. With her Sync, she can join in the DPS after casting her Chain. Have nothing for Serah but being able to get both her AASB and SASB would automatically make her my primary magical water DPS.
Okay, so I basically want everything on this banner except the dupe Bartz Sync. Could do without the bottom half too. Like I said though, the rates here are so trashy that it seems impossible to get some, much less all my wants on this banner.
Currently, I have 456 mythril on hand. My first draw gave me 1 disco orb. Welp, looks like we’re already off to a bad start. This is gonna be dupe Bartz Sync, isn’t it? Or maybe Dr. Mog won’t even show up and I’ll just end up with one of the G+.
Thankfully, Dr. Mog showed up, turning the 6-star item into a 7-star one. He actually gave me something new. Just got Paine’s TASB. Nice.
Getting just 1 item sucks though. Wish I could have gotten more. It really feels bad to see just 1 6-star after spending 50 mythril, especially since acquiring that 50 mythril didn’t come easy at all.
And if I didn’t already have a few of Paine’s relics, including her AASB, this would have been a really lousy draw. I mean, I have Tidus’s TASB and no other BDL relic for him, so he’s not exactly usable. So, yeah, this draw could have been a lot better. Then again, it could have been worse as well so I guess this wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
Water Banner 1 Multi-Draw Results 2
You know, my plan was to only do 1 pull on this banner and possibly 1 as well on banner 2. After that, I was supposed to just walk away and ignore these banners already. But how could I walk away with just Paine’s TASB? At least give me her Sync too, right?
I shouldn’t have done it. I really shouldn’t have done it. But I ended up doing it anyway. Yeah, that’s right. Just did another multi-draw on banner 1. I regret this. I really do.
Because once again only 1 disco orb showed up. WTF is up with this? Seriously? 1/11 again? Why? Ugh. How frustrating. Even more so since Dr. Mog didn’t even have the decency to show up.
Was afraid I’d end up with one of the Glints here. Thankfully, I got one of the Awakenings instead. Tidus’s AASB2 showed up. Hell, yes! Finally, I have something to go with his TASB. The 1/11 still feels bad though.
Water Banner 2 Multi-Draw Results 1
Since I just got Tidus’s new AASB, I was like, let’s try for his Sync on banner 2. His SASB2, which was the one that’s featured on banner 2 was said to be one of the best Syncs in the game. His AASB2, which was the one that I just got, was said to be much better than his AASB1.
Good Sync or not though, I was interested in acquiring it either way so I could have another BDL relic for Tidus. Then I’d have no qualms making his HA. See, I want to have at least 2 BDL relics for a char before I make their HA. And I’m not counting a TASB for that because it’s basically just an improved version of an Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB) right down to costing 3 bars to cast the finisher (unless you max hone them, in which case they’ll only cost 2). So I’d want either 2 AASBs or 1 SASB and 1 AASB for a char before making their HA.
And so that’s how I found myself on the water banner 2 even though I should be long done with this pulling session by now. I pull and get yet another 1/11. WTF? This is the third time already. Is this some kind of joke? Argh! So freaking annoying. What’s with all the 1/11, damn it?
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Dr. Mog didn’t even appear. But wait, there’s more. Because this draw wasn’t horrid enough, of course I didn’t even get an Awakening. Nah, instead all I got was Gogo’s LMR+. Eff this game.
Water Banner 2 Multi-Draw Results 2
I was angry and disappointed and frustrated and - man, I just freaking hate this game. Why? Why? Why? Argh! In my rage, I decided to do another draw on this banner. Yeah, I’m writing this post after the end of this disastrous ordeal and I regret everything and wish these banners had disappeared before I made up my mind to pull for them. Still filled with such rage. This is like the worst freaking game ever. Sigh.
Anyway, guess what I got on this draw. If you say 1/11 again, then you’d be right because eff this game. Of-freaking-course it was 1/11 again. This is like the normal thing now, isn’t it? I hate all my pulls on these banners. Eff all these 1/11. Could I just get out of here already, please? I want to quit this goddess-forsaken game but Genesis. Someone add him to DFFOO already, please.
Oh, hey, look, Dr. Mog just showed up. Small mercy, that. I think this game really just wants me to hate it though or something.
Why? Because I just got Meia’s TASB. Did I mention that I have nothing else for her? How in the world am I supposed to use her with just this? TASBs can only be used once. The initial 15 seconds of BDL costs 0 gauges but the finisher costs 3. And then that’s it. What’s Meia supposed to do after using her TASB?
Argh! This is so freaking frustrating. Why did this have to happen? Why couldn’t this have been Tidus’s Sync instead? Heck, I’d even take Meia’s Sync or AASB. At least those 2 have effects other than just the BDL.
Water Banner 1 Multi-Draw Results 3
So I went back to the water banner 1 even though the right thing to do was to just walk away. Should have done that a few pulls ago. I guess I kept hoping that things would get better, that I’d stop getting 1/11. But that’s all I kept getting and it didn’t seem like that was gonna change anytime soon.
Was only 1 draw away from getting the 3 Daily Draw Tickets from the Stamp Sheet though so I thought I might as well go for it. In retrospect, I still regret everything.
This draw actually gave me 3 disco orbs. Was surprised, to say the least. It felt like forever since I’d seen more than 1 disco orb. Then Dr. Mog appeared and turned one of them into a 7-star item.
And I get to the draw results screen and see that quantity doesn’t always equal quality. Was hoping for Paine’s Sync so of course that didn’t show up at all.
Instead I got Serah’s AASB, Bartz’s TASB and Aria’s G+. Well at least Bartz now has another BDL relic. Now if I can just get his water AASB. Serah can go join my very few water mages. Ah, if only her Sync had shown up instead of Bartz’s TASB. That would have been really helpful in shoring up my water magic team.
Have nothing else for Aria so her G+ is basically useless. Would have been better off with her Sync. Also, it looks like I forgot to take a screenshot of the draw results screen for this pull. Must have been too disappointed. Still, it was really nice to see 3/11. Here’s to hoping I can see more. Just don’t want any more 1/11.
Daily Draw Tickets
That last pull just gave me 3 Daily Draw Tickets via the Stamp Sheet. These tickets are used on the Daily Draw banner.
These tickets are a 10-draw but it looks like you aren’t guaranteed to get anything, or maybe you’re only guaranteed at least 1 5-star. Not sure. Either way, was pretty disappointed with the results of these pulls.
The only seemingly good thing I got was an Awakening from a char in Final Fantasy IV. I think it’s Fusoya. Still too pissed by how horrid all these draws are that I can’t even be bothered to look up what Fusoya’s AASB does though. Pretty sure I have nothing else for him anyway. At least I remembered to take screenshots. Here they are:
Daily Draw Ticket 1 Pulls Results:
Daily Draw Ticket 2 Pulls Results:
Daily Draw Ticket 3 Pulls Results:
Water Banner 2 Multi-Draw Results 3
I’m down to 217 mythril now. So much for only doing 1 or 2 pulls on these banners, huh? I really should be done by now. Haven’t I been disappointed enough already? Yet here I am, about to do another multi-draw. Argh!
Couldn’t seem to help myself. I kept thinking how the relics that I just got weren’t completely enough to really shore up my water team. Just look at Meia and Serah. All I have is Meia’s TASB and Serah’s AASB. Need more BDL relics for them, especially Meia. And I’d really like to have either Tidus’s Sync or Paine’s Sync, preferably both.
So against my better judgment, I did another pull, this time on banner 2, hoping for something good. It wasn’t meant to be. Eff this game. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating - I really freaking regret everything. Curse these goddess-forsaken banners and these game and its trashy rates.
Once again, got 1/11. Dr. Mog didn’t show up and the game couldn’t even give me something new. Nah, to add insult to injury, I got Gogo’s LMR+. Again. Ugh. Yeah, I freaking hate this game. Why is this happening?
Water Banner 1 Multi-Draw Results 4
So I went back to banner 1 instead of just stopping. Yeah, I don’t know what I was thinking back then anymore. I think I was just so angry about how horrible all these pulls were. I just wanted to get something good. Which was apparently the game’s cue to give me another dupe. It was Tidus’s AASB this time. Eff this game.
Water Banner 2 Multi-Draw Results 4
By now, I’m 7 draws deep across both banners. It feels too late to stop. It’d be even more of a waste if I stop now. So I kept going. Back to banner 2 this time. Seeing the 1/11 disco orb didn’t even surprise me anymore. Was expecting it. Still disappointed anyway.
Dr. Mog showed up, which was nice, but even this could turn out to be bad. Might just end up with another dupe.
Allowed myself to be cautiously hopeful when the “Congratulations” screen showed up and it wasn’t immediately followed by a rank up screen. At least I’m getting something new. The question is if this could be of use to me.
The good news is that yes, I was able to get something of use. Tidus’s SASB2 just came home. Hell, yes! Now I can finally make his Hero Ability. And he just became my primary physical water DPS.
Was relieved to get something good but, argh! Again with the 1/11. Why is it always like that? Sigh.
Water Banner 1 Multi-Draw Results 5
I’m 2 pulls away from the Selection A pick from the Stamp Sheet so I decided I might as well go for broke. It really was too late to stop now.
This draw gave me yet another 1/11. This time I got Paine’s G+. At least it’s new. But why couldn’t this be her Sync instead?
Water Banner 1 Multi-Draw Results 6
I’m definitely broke now though. Started out with 456 mythril. After multiple disastrous pulls, I’m now down to 18 mythril with only a few good relics to show for the loss. Don’t even have enough anymore to do another multi-draw.
Have to grind some quests to get more mythril for my last multi-draw. Just need one more pull to get the Selection A pick. Would have preferred the relics from Selection B but there was no way I could get to that now. The banners are ending. AFAIK, I’ve less than 24 hours to scrounge up enough mythril to get to 50. Getting more than that seems impossible since I simply don’t have enough time.
Don’t think it’s worth it either. Honestly, I don’t think this entire pulling session was worth it. I regret ever looking at either of these banners. Wish I could go back. Should never have pulled even once.
After what felt like forever, finally have the 50 mythril I needed for my last pull. As usual, got 1/11 because eff this game. You’d think Dr. Mog showing up could make up for that but nah.
Looks like he appeared just to give me a dupe because eff this game. Clearly, I needed another copy of Bartz’s TASB. Did I mention that I hate this game?
Water Banner 1 Missing Relics
After that horrible pulling session, I’m missing the following relics from the water banner 1:
Paine SASB
Aria SASB
Leila SASB
Serah SASB
Leila CSB
Water Banner 2 Missing Relics
From banner 2, I’m missing the following relics:
Meia SASB
Gogo SASB
Gogo AASB
Arc AASB
Meia CSB
Arc G+
Meia G+
Arc LMR+
Water Banner 1 Pulls Results List

1/11 Bartz TASB dupe
Water Banner 2 Pulls Results List

1/11 Gogo LMR+ dupe
1/11 Tidus AASB dupe
1/11 Tidus SASB
1/11 Paine G+
1/11 Bartz TASB dupe
Looking at it like this, it’s really easy to see just how bad all these pulls were. They were all 1/11 except for the lone 3/11. What were the odds of that happening? Even ended up with 3 dupes. How utterly disappointing, depressing, frustrating, infuriating - eh, you get the point. Sigh. Eff this game.
Selection A Pick
10 pulls equals 500 mythril = Stamp Sheet 1 complete.
Now I can pick a relic from Selection A. Too bad this doesn’t include any of the Syncs. The best relics from the list are the Awakenings.
Decided to get Meia’s AASB to go with her TASB. Maybe someday I can get her SASB too as well as her other relics.
In conclusion, eff this game and these banners. Fest is coming soon and I’m at 0 mythril. Looks like I’ve no choice but to skip it. At the moment, don’t really feel like doing anything on this game anyway. Just feel so disappointed and frustrated. It’s maddening. Unless Genesis gets a new relic during fest, not gonna bother. Doubt that’d happen anyway. He just got his TASB, after all. So I guess I have nothing to worry about. Still furious though.

Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII Banner 2
Have no plans of pulling on this banner because I already have most of the relics featured here. I'm missing Yuffie's Sync, Shelke's Sync, Shelke's Awakening, Yuffie's Glint+, and Shelke's LMR+.
Yuffie's relics here are for the earth element but I don't even have her earth AASB, so even if I get her earth Sync, I won't be able to use her on my physical earth team. Shelke's stuff here is for the lightning element but my physical lightning team is already pretty good so she has no place there unless I can get multiple BDL relics for her.
Honestly, the only reason why I even bothered to mention this banner is because some of Genesis's relics is on it. Currently, he's my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy char and he's the reason why I'm playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper. Every time I see him and his stuff featured in the game, I just have to take screenshots.
If he has anything new, I'd definitely pull for it, whatever it may be. Unfortunately, it's been a while since he got anything new. The last Soul Break that Genesis got was his TASB, LOVELESS. I really wish he would get something new soon.
Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII Banner 1
This banner features mostly new relics but there are still some old ones here. Only have 2 dupes here - Barret's TASB and Angeal's Sync. I'm kinda, sorta interested in this banner but I'm not sure if I should pull or not. If Genesis had something new here, I wouldn't have to think about it. I'd just pull right away. But he's not even on this banner, and I'm not sure I really need the relics featured here.
I mean, of course, it'd be great if I could get my hands on them, but is it worth it to spend the mythril needed to pull here? Maybe I should just save and wait for a better banner. Hmm. Okay, let's take a closer look at the relics here.
Tifa Lockhart's DASB, AASB2, and G+2
Already have a few relics for Tifa, including her AASB1 and SASB1. She's on my physical earth team as one of my DPS. Getting her DASB and AASB2 would give me more BDL relics for her and really cement her place on my physical earth team. I might even try using her on my FF7 realm team.
Cloud Strife's CSB+
The Cloud CSB+ here could and should have been some other relic instead, like maybe Tifa's Sync 2 or something. Or this banner could have featured another one of Cloud's Soul Breaks alongside this one. As it is, this CSB+ seems out of place since this is the only Cloud item here.
I do already have a lot of Cloud's relics, including 2 of his Awakenings, his wind TASB and his wind Sync so it'd be nice to have this Chain as well. Cloud's on my physical wind team. He's sometimes on my FF7 realm team too. I remember he was one of the chars I used the first time I managed to clear the Final Fantasy VII Dragonking fight against Bahamut. Naturally, Genesis was on that team. Their allies were Aerith, Barret, and Zack Fair (from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII).
But ever since I was able to obtain a lot of Sephiroth's (from Final Fantasy VII) fire tech, I'm now running a mostly FF7 fire team, consisting of Genesis (fire's his main element), Balthier (Ffamran mied Bunansa from Final Fantasy XII), Aerith, Sephi, and Vincent Valentine (from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII). When I got Barret’s FF7 realm Chain Soul Break, he would sometimes take Balthier’s (have his fire Chain Soul Break) place.
Barret's DASB, SASB, and LMR+
Barret's a support who can also deal a bit of damage. Well, if I had more of his BDL relics, he might be able to do more damage. But aside from his TASB, the only other BDL relic I have for him is his AASB2.
Arguably, Barret’s AASB2 is his most important relic, at least when it comes to FF7 realm content. This Soul Break can buff the stats of Barret and his allies. It can counter Bahamut's Full Break debuffing move in the FF7 Dragonking fight. This is why I had Barret on my FF7 Dragonking team.
The other relics I have for Barret include his Glint Soul Break (G), Glint+, Ultra Soul Break (USB), and FF7 realm Chain Soul Break. He has several ways of lowering an enemy's resistance to the fire element, including spamming the Burnt Offering Machinist ability.
His DASB and Sync both have some pretty good effects that benefit his allies. Even his LMR+ can be useful although, of course, if I pull on a banner, I prefer to get a BDL relic. Barret's already on my FF7 realm team so getting more stuff for him will just make him better.
Angeal's DASB and TASB
Sadly, Angeal’s not that good in this game. He dabbles in 2 elements - wind and holy - but he's not the best option for either. Currently, I only have his LBO, AASB2, Sync, and G+. I've used him a bit before but wasn't really impressed. He can be made to work but there are better options out there.
I remember trying to use him, Genesis, and Sephiroth together so I could have a SOLDIER Firsts team. This can work on easy fights but harder ones will be more difficult to get through. There's also the fact that, sadly, Angeal doesn't have much synergy with the relics of his friends. As mentioned, his elements are wind and holy. Genesis's element is fire. Sephiroth's is dark and fire.
Actually, that's one of the things that really annoys me. I wish Angeal had more synergy with Genesis and Sephiroth so it'd be easier to run the 3 of them together on the same team. You know who has synergy with Angeal? Zack and Cloud. Angeal has a lot of relics that specifically mention those 2 and you get special effects and buffs and such if either are in the party with him.
Heck, he even has Soul Breaks with animations that feature Zack and Cloud. I wish Angeal had Soul Breaks that feature Genesis and Sephiroth too. Well, his AASB2 does have Genesis on it but I'd like to see more.
Aside from wanting Angeal to have more synergy with the elements and tech of his friends, I also wish that Genesis would get a secondary element. Maybe he can dabble in dark too then I can also run him on my dark elemental team. It might be a stretch for him to dabble in holy, but if he gets wind as a secondary element, then he can have some synergy with Angeal.
Anyway, so the point is that while I like Angeal well enough, I don't really want to see his relics if I do end up pulling on this banner. I'm not sure getting his TASB and DASB will make him viable enough to run on my FF7 realm team alongside Genesis and Sephiroth. There's no place for him on my physical wind team. He's got a spot on my physical holy team but that's only because I barely have any physical holy tech. That's also why I haven't really done any endgame fight that requires a physical holy team.
Aerith's AASB2
Have a few of Aerith's relics, including her AASB1 and USBs. Actually, just checked and, other than her AASB2, the only relic I'm missing for her that can't be Lensed is her Sync.
Aerith's a great healer. With her AASB1 and USB2, she can also reduce the delay of her allies' physical attacks for 3 turns. She's my healer for my FF7 realm team. Sometimes, I have her on some of my physical elemental teams as well although she's not my preferred healer due to her lack of utility when compared to other healers.
Yeah, she can reduce the delay of all physical attacks, which is great, but she can only do this whenever she casts her AASB1 and USB2 and those require 2 gauges. Even with an Entruster, she won't be able to cast her USB2 that often (Awakenings can only be cast once per fight unless they've been max honed in which case they can be used twice).
In contrast to that, I've got healers like Lenna Charlotte Tycoon (from Final Fantasy V) who can dance the Salsa to debuff enemies while also healing her allies. She even has a USB that can reduce the delay of their actions for 2 turns.
Nevertheless, I am interested in getting Aerith's AASB2. After all, she is on my FF7 realm team and having more of her stuff will make it easier for me to keep my party alive whenever I have to fights enemies that require my FF7 team.
Also, I'm in desperate need for a physical support. Aerith can't exactly fill that role on her own but she can certainly help.
Because of Aerith's AASB2, I've found myself seriously considering pulling on the Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII banner 1. Looking at a list of upcoming banners, I noted that the next ones I'm interested in pulling on are those that would come with the next FFRK Festival. It'll be a while before that fest will happen though so I was thinking maybe I could do at least 1 pull on this current banner. I should be able to get more mythril before the next fest starts.
I'm worried about possibly getting crappy draw results though like getting dupes of Barret's TASB and Angeal's Sync. So I kept on going back and forth on what to do, considering the pros and cons of pulling and thinking about my options.
In the end, I decided to go for it. Well, why not, right? Currently, have 427 mythril. My plan is to only do 1 multi-draw on this banner. Here's to hoping I get something useful. Wish me luck.
Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII Banner 1 Multi-Draws Results 1
My first multi-draw gave me 3 disco orbs. Was really pleased to see this but then Dr. Mog didn't even show up and things just went downhill from there.
The first relic I got was Barret's LMR+. This lets him start fights with Haste and removes the delay from his actions for 3 turns so it's pretty good but I still would have preferred to get either his DASB or Sync over this.
The second item I got was Tifa's AASB2. Nice! Now I have 3 BDL relics for her.
Unfortunately, the third item I got was also Tifa's AASB2. So I was soon greeted by the Soul Break Rank Up! screen and Tifa's Chain Somersault promptly went from Rank 1 of 15 to Rank 3 of 15.
Argh! Why'd this have to happen? How utterly disappointing. This third item could and should have been Aerith's AASB2 instead.
Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII Banner 1 Multi-Draws Results 2
If I'd gotten Aerith's AASB2 from my first pull, maybe I could have just walked away from this banner already. But my first draw really disappointed and pissed me off. It wasn't that useful at all. Getting that dupe was really disheartening.
And I would have preferred to get Aerith's Awakening over Tifa's since I use the former way more often than the latter. I only really use my physical earth team when I need to tackle content that requires them. Otherwise, I stick to using my physical fire team or my FF7 fire team, both of which feature my fave Genesis as my main and primary DPS. Aerith can easily slot into those teams so she sees more use than Tifa.
Barret's LMR+ is of use but, like I said, I would have preferred to get his DASB or his Sync. And so, although I really should have just cut my losses short and walked away already, I found myself thinking about pulling again.
My second multi-draw gave me 2 disco orbs but at least Dr. Mog actually showed up and turned one of them into a 7-star item.
I was really hoping the disco orb would turn into Aerith's AASB2 but, unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. Instead, I got trolled yet again by Tifa's AASB2. Now it's at Rank 5 of 15. Ugh, I'm really starting to hate this blasted relic. How many times do I have to see this? Why does this keep showing up? At this point, even Tifa's Glint+2 would be better than this since at least it'd be new.
As for the 7-star item - well, it turned into this bracer. Not sure who owns this though.
It was only when I got to the draw results screen that I found out that what I just got was Barret's DASB. Nice! He's already on my FF7 fire team so this makes him better. Maybe I can even see about trying him on my physical fire team as a DPS slash support.
This pull would have been better if I didn't get trolled by Tifa's Awakening 2. Ahh, why couldn't I have gotten Aerith's Awakening 2 instead?
Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII Banner 1 Multi-Draws Results 3
I really, really should stop pulling now. The best thing to do is walk away from this banner already before I end up running out of mythril. It's not like I really need Aerith or even any of the other chars featured here. I can make do without them. I can also just wait until I can get better tech before tackling more endgame content.
But I couldn't seem to help myself. Decided to do 1 more pull on this banner. This time, only got 1 disco orb and Dr. Mog didn't bother to show up. Sigh. Was ready to be utterly disappointed yet again when the disco orb revealed itself to be this cloak or robe. I'm pretty sure this belongs to Aerith. At least, I'm really hoping it does.
Got to the draw results screen and - hell, yes! This Cleric's Robes does belong to Aerith. Just got her AASB2, Planetary Pulse. Yay!
I'm really happy to see Aerith's Awakening 2 but I can't deny that I'm also kinda disappointed with this pull. I wish I could have gotten more than 1 disco orb and that Dr. Mog had also shown up on this draw.
End of Labyrinth Dungeon Final Fantasy VII Banners Pulling Spree
I'm now down to 277 mythril so definitely done with this banner. Spent way more than I wanted to. Was only supposed to do 1 pull. Somehow, that turned into 3 pulls. Spent 150 mythril and yet I only got like 4 new relics so it doesn't seem that worth it. Wish I could have gotten more new Soul Breaks from that 150.
Hero Abilities for Aerith Gainsborough and Barret Wallace
After thinking about it a bit, decided to go ahead and create Aerith's and Barret's Hero Abilities (HA). Aerith's HA is called Healing Wind. It restores a small amount of HP to the party but it triggers after a long delay. That delay is troublesome but Aerith's AASBs will reduce the delay of her white magic abilities. Barret's HA is called Ungarmax. It deals 7 ranged physical fire attacks to one enemy.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Did you pull on these banners? What do you think about the relics featured here? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.
