I don't get why Stefan expressed disapproval at 1 of the compelled women in 3x6 offered her right instead of left hand and made her offer her left. There are hand fetisists in real life so I guess it would be expected for Stefan to have that fetish. I thought it was weird how Stefan was the one spinning the wheel for which sexual positions he wanted the girls to do when playing Twister and how he appeared to get off to it, even asking Damon if he wanted to join in on spinning with him which he didn't accept. Stefan seemed like one of those guys who fetishize being with women who are sexually attracted to other women in that scene. Even his scene with Rebekah and another compelled woman in the 20s seemed sexually charged with them kissing and biting her neck and it cut to the two of them making out in the middle. Rebekah is also known to be bi. That's probably why his scenes abusing women usually involve multiple at once. What is your opinion?

I think all of their vampires have a sexual appetite, and because they're in current timeline, one's sexuality is more accepted. They can express their desires without having to go vampire on someone lol. Damon actually makes comments about it. When Elena tries to kill Caroline in season 4, Damon says, "I admit, under any other circumstances, this would be a major turn-on." He's the one becoming a Rebekah and Sage sandwhich like Matt with Rebekan and Nadia. They also make gender comments. Klaus has one in 3x21. "But just between us girls, who would you have picked?" Damon makes his gender comment in 3x4. "Bummer. I love a good girl fight." Damon and Klaus have that in common. They're total girls. That's why I say Damon is gorgeous af, but he's not Stefan. Genitals, genital obsession, and genital “preference”

Misconception: It is a common misconception that supersexuality is simply attraction to a certain genetalia set. Of course, if this were true, supersexuals would be open to relationships with transgender individuals, but this is not the case. Supers are, like anyone else, attracted to people. As previously stated, gender AND sex are integral to super orientations. 

The Fallacy: Once superphobes assert that supersexuality is a preference, they can go on to attack the strawman by calling them transphobic or genital fetisists. They can argue that this “preference” can be unlearned- which eventually leads to the rape rhetoric that plagues superphobic spaces. The fallacy therefore must be stopped from the beginning, as meaningful conversation cannot take place with someone who appeals to this “preference” assumption.

What Does It Mean To Be Sex AND Gender Attracted? This is where much of the confusion starts. Unlike other sexualities, here gender expression is just 1/2 of the equation. Most supers are attracted to either a masculine or feminine gender identity (this does not necessarily mean their partner will openly express the stereotypes of their gender identity). But this attraction is directly linked to their sex-based attraction, hence why supersexuals are exclusively attracted to cisgender people. 

But Isn’t Sex Just Genetalia? No, which is the main problem with the reactionary argument that supers are simply “genetalia fetishists”. Biological sex is physically expressed in everything from bone structure, height, vocal range, body hair, limb size, and muscle composition, among other things including genetalia. The lack of coehesion which may lead to sexual dysphoria can occur when ANY of these factors (often without the conscious knowledge of the super) are not present to a reasonable degree. To expect a super to participate in sex based on the genetalia  involved alone is to deeply misunderstand and invalidate their sexuality. The same can be said for expecting them to particapate based on the gender of the partner alone. 

What Should I Do When I See Superphobic Rhetoric? 

Always educate. When you see a superphobe saying “supersexuality is a genital preference/obsession/fetish” stop before they can escalate into rape or conversion rhetoric. Teach them that supers aren’t soley attracted to genitals, but gender as well as biological sex. Teach them that this is a fixed sexuality and NOT a preference. And teach them that Super Love Is Love!

It’s interesting you say “homophobes don’t interact” and yet are all buddy buddy with a certain fandom homophobe.

I would 't say I'm buddy buddy and if it's who I think it is they're litterally a Bi person and I have had conversations with them in which we clash a few times because I don't like the things that they say.

But if it's someone else I may not be aware of what they do because I try to keep out if fandom drama a lot of the time

But I assure you, I'm not one to stand by and allow shit to slide. I speak out against fandom homophobia when I see it and if someone says shit like 'Kakashi is obviously straight' I call it out cuz there's no proof those words hold any weight (and the same with Naruto, Sasuke and really any character. Being married doesn't make a character straight and I loath seeing things like 'oh this fandom is just full of fetisists' because it really ignores the fact that there are LGBTQ people in all MLM and FLF ships.)

But I mean, sure. I guess you could act like I do 't take those words seriously and I won't block someone over blatent homophobia

Lukewarm at best take: Diamond is Unbreakable has a handful of characters that are so fun and enjoyable (Josuke, Okuyasu, Kira) but for the most part is not great.

Half of the episodes are Koichi's Bizarre Adventure, he and so many other characters are grating, and I'm halfway through the series and the plot is only just now kind of starting to pick up.
