Introducing Miss Marjorie Masie Krampus. She is a little wild, a little fae, a little bit scary, and a lot magical. She is a nature spirit who comes from places found between, wild and tame, forest and farm, dusk and dawn. Winter is her favourite season, and she can often be found wandering through snow covered wild places, with ravens as companions. She enjoys, a warm cup of juniper tea, with a dash of honey, good company, and engaging conversations on a variety of topics. Plant magic, spirits and forest lore being some of her favourite. Miss Marjorie like all in her family does not suffer, wilfully ignorant, greedy, unkind or selfish people or spirits, and when pushed will put them in their place, with a spell or word, and remove them from her space if needs be. She is protective of those who have been othered by an unkind society. This lovely Fetch will be going to a the @ thecollaborationnz gallery in Janurary 2021 . Today we have cut out most of the clothing for this lovely Hare Fetchfolk Mr John S Hedge-rider. Fabric Auditioning for Mr Daniel Jonathan Krampus’s clothing. . I have narrowed it down to two options a dark brown pinstripe suiting fabric with a nevermore fabric waistcoat and a orange keys on white fabric shirt, which to my mind is very debonair, and very city smarts magician. think men of letters re Supernatural, which I am currently watching *coughs*.. still wild and can sometimes be found in the more wild parts of town, but he is just as at home at a museum of the occult arts, as he is the dark wild alleyways… . The second selection is dark grey woollen trousers, with a blue small hounds tooth, sometimes called puppy tooth, sports jacket, a brown on red background paisley waistcoat, and a light faun and white striped shirt. This gives of a very country feel, still quite dapper and a gentleman, but perhaps someone who works more with their hands and is a little more down to earth, and can be found wandering the wild places As they say clothes market the man.. or in this case the Krampus. I do have a second Krampus waiting to be stuffed and stitched, so I could make both outfits and see which one ends up on who, so to speak . Introducing Lady Kathryn Regina Bastet, of the Levin Bastet’s a very renown family from Levin, it is said that the Bastet’s can trace their family line back to the Egyptian Goddesses. She is of course a gorgeous cat fetch made from black velvet. Lady Kathryn is a staunch supporter and advocate for women’s rights, be that women’s votes for all women, black and white, Transwomen’s’ rights, and the right for all women to be heard and believed. She is an active in her local community where ever she lives at the time. She loves to help women achieve their goal in both business and the home. she is fiercely protective of her family, a lover of cats and collects fine Egyptian curios. She is also SOLD. . Totally found the perfect shell to creat pirate sea chests for Piratey themed Fetchfolks. I have been squirreling away pieces. I have swords, pirate guns, fabulous boots and now treasure chests. Mr Anubis's chair coming along quite nicely. Once the posca paint pens arrived I will add the finishing touches and then give it a couple of coats of varnish. . This Morning, actually probably all day, I am going to be attempting to gold leaf these Egyptian style details on to this chair for Mr Anubis. I am not yet decided if it is just going to be the outline or the silhouettes you see here. So it will and adventurous morning no? . We interrupt your scrolling to bring you and update picture of the lovely Mr Renarde, and Fox Fetchfolk who is now sporing a lovely long jacket, with Shoulder pads I tell you, shoulder pads. His Zoot Suite is nearly finished. This one has fancy tailoring .. or at least my attempt at tailoring so that it sits nicely on the body. I suspect that I will be altering the suit jacket pattern that I usually use to so that future jackets fit well. Aanndd I have pattern that I can use when I create the Dr who Hare Fetchfolk. hooray . Mr Renarde has such a wonderful shirt… look at it, it’s wonderful. I am so loving on this shirt. I will be making an orange silk tie for this and suspenders. wheee…. . [Image description. A bad month used to be when I didn't sell anything.. but that has change and a bad month is now when i don't reach my goal of $1000 turnover... <-- that before the bills are paid Sooo by my business is growing at a steady pace, not fast, slow and steady is actually better cause it is easier to handle and I can pivot more easily and I can adjust and make better choices (if somewhat scary) so despite a slow couple of months, I have learnt new things, created a new plan, and celebrate that my business has and continues to grow. and I celebrate all of you out there who liked, shared, and brought artworks and those who are waiting patiently for theirs I am super thankful to you as well. Mr Anubis, the first of his family. I am unsure of all of his name just yet. I have cut out all of his clothing and he is going to be a very handsome fellow. He is from along line of Funeral directors, some say the family lines goes far back to ancient Egyptian times. . I am going to enjoy stitching up his wonderful outfit though. .
