adhd train of thought I'm subjecting u to: i love me me a komaeda with nailpolish as much as the next guy but i think. any of the survivors ESPECIALLY komaeda would be VERY hesitant to paint their nails considering yknow. last time he had painted nails was on a dead girls hand

oh i think about this a lot actually!!! in my own postgame headcanons, i think the girls warm up faster to komaeda than a lot of the boys, and he eventually gets invited to girls’ nights and such (i also like this for my transfem/bigender hc but that’s a diff story, his egg is far from cracking atp), and eventually he’s comfortable enough with them to let them paint his nails. it’s nerve-wracking for him at first, and i think he starts with black, but eventually it becomes something he treasures because he can look down at his hand and remember that there are people who care about him. he reclaims it, basically. i think he eventually warms up to other colors, but you will never see anyone wearing pink or red nails. it’s just… too close
