The final whistle blew, signaling the end of the match and the season for Fermín Lopez. The crowd roared as the team celebrated their victory on the field, but Fermín's mind was already elsewhere. He high-fived his teammates, a wide grin on his face, but his heart was set on the upcoming reunion he had been longing for.
As he made his way through the tunnel towards the locker room, a wave of exhaustion hit him. The season had been grueling, filled with highs and lows, but now it was over. And that meant only one thing—he could finally see Y/n again.
After a quick shower and a change of clothes, Fermín stepped out to the press area, where the media eagerly awaited. He was greeted by a barrage of camera flashes and microphones, but he was used to this. He spotted a familiar face in the crowd, the team's usual reporter, and gave a nod in her direction.
"Fermín! Over here!" she called, and he made his way towards her. "Great game out there, Fermín, also an incredible goal. How does it feel to end the season on such a high note?" The microphone leaned towards him. "It feels amazing." He replied, his smile broadening. "The team worked really hard, and it’s great to finish strong." The reporter nodded. "So, what are your plans for the summer?" She asked, leaning in with interest. Fermín’s eyes sparkled as he answered. "I’m heading to Monaco to visit my girlfriend, Y/n. She has just raced there, and I can’t wait to see her. We’ve been apart for a month because of my games and her races, and it’s been tough. But I’m really excited to be there to support her."
The reporter's eyes widened with curiosity. "That sounds wonderful! How do you manage the long-distance relationship with both of your busy schedules?" Fermín sighed. "It’s not easy, but we both understand each other’s passions and commitments. We talk every day, and we support each other from afar. Now that the season’s over, I’m just looking forward to spending time with her and cheering her on."
"That’s great to hear. Best of luck to Y/n in her race, and enjoy your summer, Fermín." Fermín smiled."Thank you." He said, giving her a polite nod before moving on to the driver car park. As he walked away, Fermín couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement. In just a few days, he’d be in Monaco, the picturesque city by the sea, watching Y/n race. He could already picture her, focused and determined, the way she always was when behind the wheel. For now, though, he had to wrap up his duties here. He answered a few more questions, signed some autographs, and finally, with a sense of fulfillment and anticipation, made his way out of the stadium. The warm evening air greeted him as he stepped outside, and he took a deep breath, savoring the moment. In a few short days, he’d be with Y/n. And that thought alone made everything worth it.
------
The flight to Monaco felt like it took forever, even though it was only a few hours. Fermín spent most of it restless, unable to sleep despite his exhaustion. His mind was consumed with thoughts of Y/n and how it would feel to hold her again. As the plane descended, his excitement grew, making him almost giddy with anticipation.
Finally, the plane touched down, and Fermín quickly grabbed his bag and made his way through the airport. His heart pounded with each step closer to the arrivals hall. As the automatic doors slid open, he scanned the crowd, his eyes darting back and forth. And then he saw her. Y/n stood there, looking as beautiful as ever, her eyes searching for him in the sea of faces. The moment their eyes met, her face lit up with a radiant smile, and she broke into a run.
Fermín dropped his bag and opened his arms wide just as Y/n leaped into them, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. He held her tightly, spinning around slightly as the world seemed to disappear around them. "I missed you so much," Y/n whispered into his ear, her voice filled with emotion. "I missed you too." Fermín replied, his voice thick with the same feeling. He pulled back slightly to look at her, their faces inches apart. "I can't believe I'm finally here with you." She smiled, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Me neither. It feels like forever."
They shared a soft, tender kiss, the kind that spoke volumes about their time apart and their joy in being together again. After a moment, Fermín gently set her down but kept an arm around her waist, unwilling to let her go completely. "How was the flight?" She asked, her hand resting on his chest. "Boring." He said with a chuckle. "But worth every minute now that I'm here with you." Y/n kissed his cheek. "Come on, let's get out of here," Y/n said, grabbing his hand and leading him towards the exit. "I've got so much to show you and so little time before the race."
"So, where to first?" He asked, a playful grin on his face. "Well-" Y/n said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "There's this gorgeous hotel room with a seaside view if you'd like a tour." Fermín bit his lower lip, in an attempt to hide his grin. "Lead the way." He whispered, kissing her hand before she practically hauled him and his luggage out towards the exit of the airport.
-------
The couple walked through the bustling streets of Monaco. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the beautiful city, as the tourists and racing enthusiasts filled the streets, their conversations blending into a lively hum.
As they turned a corner near the harbor, a group of fans spotted Y/n and hurried over, their faces lighting up with excitement. "Y/n! Y/n! Can we get a photo with you?" One of them called out. Y/n laughed and nodded. "Of course!" Fermín watched as the fans gathered around Y/n, their admiration for her evident. One of the fans handed Fermín a phone, asking, "Could you take the photo for us?" Y/n looked over to Fermín, expecting a lighthearted joke about him not being asked for a photo but his reaction was the complete opposite. Fermín's heart swelled with pride. "Absolutely." He said, taking the phone. He backed up a few steps to get a good angle, making sure to capture the picturesque background of Monaco along with the smiling faces of Y/n and her fans.
"Alright, everyone say cheese!" Fermín called out, snapping a few photos. The group giggled and struck different poses, and Fermín happily obliged, capturing each moment. After taking several photos, Fermín handed the phone back to the fan. "Here you go. I hope they turned out okay." The fans checked the photos and thanked him enthusiastically. "They're perfect! Thank you so much!" Y/n turned to Fermín with a grateful smile as the fans walked away, chatting excitedly among themselves. "Thank you babe. You're the best."
Fermín shrugged modestly, but his eyes shone with happiness. "I'm just living my life as a Formula One wag. This is the way." He chuckled. "Easily the best wag." She smiled, taking his hand in hers again as they continued on their walk.

Fermín stepped out of the sleek black sports car, the warm Mediterranean breeze tousling his hair. The stars sparkled against the inky sky, casting a gentle glow over gorgeous city . He rounded the car to the passenger side, a smile playing on his lips as he reached for the door handle. Inside, Y/n watched him through the window. Fermín was always the gentleman, a trait that never failed to make her feel cherished. As he opened the door, he held his hand for her to take and of course, she did. As she gracefully stepped out, her elegant dress shimmering under the streetlights. As the young driver steadied herself, her fingers interwined with her boyfriend's. His eyes sparkled as he looked at her, admiration evident in his gaze. "You look stunning." He murmured, his voice soft and sincere.
"Thank you." She replied, her cheeks warming. "You don't look so bad yourself." As they stood there, sharing a quiet moment, a few onlookers gathered at a respectful distance. The romantic gesture did not go unnoticed, and soon, cameras were clicking, capturing the sweet scene. Fans who recognized both Fermín and Y/n couldn't help but smile at the adorable couple. They smiled and waved, interacting with the fans who stayed respectful towards them, something that the couple found they would only have in Monaco. "Ready for dinner?" Fermín asked, leaning in. "Absolutely." Y/n replied, her excitement matching his.
Hand in hand, they made their way towards the entrance of the restaurant. The ambient lighting and chic decor promised a cozy, intimate evening. They were greeted by the maître d', who led them to a secluded table by the window, offering a breathtaking view of the shimmering harbor. As they settled into their seats, Fermín reached across the table, his hand finding hers once more. "I've been looking forward to this all week." He said, his thumb gently caressing her knuckles.
"Me too." Y/n agreed, her smile brightening the room. "It's nice to have some time just for us." Their conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter punctuating their words as they enjoyed a delicious meal. The world outside seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in their perfect little bubble. After ordering, they took a moment to appreciate the view. The lights from the yachts reflected off the dark water, creating a magical atmosphere. "I was thinking today-" Fermín began, breaking the comfortable silence. "About how far we've come." Y/n tilted her head, curiosity shining in her eyes. "Oh? What brought that on?" Fermín shrugged, a fond smile playing on his lips. "I guess it's just being here with you. Monaco has always been a dream destination for me, and now I'm sharing it with the person I love. It feels like I'm in a movie or something."
Y/n squeezed his hand. "I wouldn't be mad if you proposed right now." Y/n joked as Fermín smiled lovingly, almost considering proposing, yet he nodded, his gaze locking with hers. "Do you remember our first trip together? We got lost in that tiny village, and you insisted we try to find our way without a map." She laughed, the sound like music to his ears. "In my defense, I had been in that town many times before. I didnt think I needed a map." Fermín bit his lip to hide his smile. "And how did that go for us?" Y/n shrugged as she sipped her wine. "Well, we made it out of that town, didn't we?"
Their meals arrived, and they took a moment to savour the delicious flavors. Between bites, they continued to reminisce, sharing stories and laughter. "Amor?" Fermín said, setting down his fork. Y/n across to him. "The whole point of this thinking is that the one thing I've found is that it doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing, as long as I'm with you." Y/n's eyes softened. "Babe, you're going to make me cry and this mascara was very expensive."
Fermín leaned closer, his expression turning serious. "I want to promise you something, Y/n." She felt a lump grow in her throat as she looked between his eyes and down to his lips. "No matter where life takes us, I'll always be by your side. Through every high and low, every twist and turn." He squeezed her hand yet again, reinstating his promise to her. "And I promise the same, Fermín. All that and more." Fermín brought Y/n's hand to his lips and placed a gentle kiss onto it. "Now, let's eat." He smiled, lifting his fork once more and beginning to eat as the couple indulged in new topics of conversation.

Inside their apartment, the ambiance was peaceful and inviting. Soft lighting created a warm glow, and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore provided a soothing background. Y/n slipped off her heels by the door, sighing in relief as she wiggled her toes. "Want some tea before bed?” Fermín asked, heading towards the kitchen. “That sounds lovely.” Y/n replied, getting up off of the sofa to follow him. She watched as he expertly prepared their favourite herbal tea, the familiar routine bringing a sense of calm and comfort.
"Now, amor. It's hot so be carefu-" Y/n gasped as the hot tea touched her tongue. Fermín began laughing, setting the two cups aside. "I just told you to be careful." He said, his hands now holding both sides of her face. Y/n's hands found his. "You should've been quicker." She retaliated playfully. "Or maybe you should slow down." They stood there for a moment, the quiet music Fermín had put on earlier in the background as they found themselves swaying along. "Today was wonderful." Y/n said softly. "Thank you for making it so special." Fermín moved a strand of hair from her face. "And thank you for being so unbelievably perfect for me."
Finishing their tea, they made their way to the bedroom. Fermín started to unbutton his shirt, while Y/n slipped into the bathroom to change. When she returned, wearing a comfortable pair of pyjamas, Fermín had already laid out her side of the bed and was brushing his teeth. She joined him at the sink, playfully nudging him with her elbow. “Scoot over, I need some space too.” He chuckled, making room for her. They brushed their teeth side by side, occasionally bumping shoulders and sharing amused glances in the mirror. When they finished, Fermín wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close.
“Ready for bed?” He asked, his voice low and tender, his lips pressing gentle kisses onto her neck, trying to tempt her back to bed with him. “Mmh, almost.” Y/n hummed, her head falling back slightly as she watched him through the mirror. “I just need to wash my face.” Fermín nodded, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Take your time." He grinned before cheekily slapping her ass. "Fermín Lopez Marín!" She squealed as he headed to the bedroom to wait for her.
Shortly after, Y/n entered the bedroom, she saw him staring at her, hungrily. He was propped up on his elbows as his gaze swiftly moved from her face down to the shirt she was wearing; his shirt. She leaned against the door, an amused smile tugging ag her lips. "Are you going to just undress me with your eyes, or are you actually going to do something?" She asked innocently. "Come here then." He replied. Y/n walked slowly towards him, their eyes not daring to dart away from one another. She stopped at the end of the bed before crawling up towards Fermín. His breath caught in his throat as she climbed on top of him, her hands exploring his bare chest as he looked up to her in complete awe that someone could be this beautiful. His lips needed to taste hers. And so, he bridged the gap between them. Y/n's fingers tangled in his her as Fermín's hands roamed Y/n's body. Their kisses became deeper and deeper. Y/n found herself moving her hips, desperately trying to find some form of friction.
She felt him smile into their kiss. "Please, let me." He whispered into her lips. Y/n hummed. Fermín reached down to undo the string of her shorts as Y/n promptly helped him to take them off. As Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck, Fermín had managed to flip them both over so he was now on top. His lips trailed away from hers, peppering a gentle trail of kisses down her body. A smile tugged at her lips as he kissed both of her thighs, looking up at her just as he always did. "Ready?" He asked. Y/n nodded. He always asked, it was his way. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. He was completely and utterly obsessed.
His tongue licked up her slit sending a shiver down her spine. She arched her back with the sudden pleasure she was receiving and the gorgeous sounds leaving her mouth was all Fermín needed to know she was doing alright. His tongue slid in and out of her, his nose rubbing off her clit every so often. Her head fell back as she felt her core tightening. "Fermín." Y/n whimpered. "You're doing good so far, amor." Y/n sighed, smiling and caressing the strands on hair on his head. Her mouth fell open as she felt herself coming closer and closer to her high. "Ferm- Fermín." She moaned. He kept at his pace, lifting his eyes up to look at her as she came undone. She grabbed the bed sheets, her knuckles turning white as she crumbled, moans tumbling from her as Fermín kissed back up her body until he reached her lips once again. "Are you okay?" He asked gently. Y/n ran her fingers through her hair, nodding. "I'm okay, but I need more of you."
Fermín reached down to his boxer shorts, quickly taking them off and aligning himself with Y/n. His lips licked with her's as he pushed in, muffling her moans. "Good girl." He muttered into her lips. He waited until she adjusted to him, her arm hooking around his shoulders. She nodded, Fermín began to roll his hips against hers as their forehead leaned onto one another. Her hand reached up behind his neck, pulling him in for a kiss.
Her eyes rolled shut as Fermín started slowly. He remembers their first time together, Y/n got hurt and since then, he's always started slowly until she says she wanted more. He watched her face carefully as he focused on giving her as much pleasure as she gave him. "Fermín, you can go faster." She whispered. Fermín's head fell to the crook of her neck, his hips jolting forward that bit faster and deeper, hitting a different spot than before. She planted kisses on his cheek, a form of reassurance that she was okay. Fermín however felt himself coming close. He didn't want to finish before she did but Y/n could feel him inside of her. She could tell how his hip movements grew irregular and needy and how his pants turned to groans. "Are you close, love?" Y/n purred in his ear. He groaned upon hearing her voice, not being able to give any answer other than a hum. "Come on, love. You're doing so well." That was more or less all he needed for him to climax.
"Mierda. I-"
"That's okay." She smiled, her fingers caressing the side of his face. He looked down at her confused. "Inside you? With no protection?" Y/n shrugged. "You're my boyfriend. I don't mind." Fermín smiled, pecking the tip of her nose. "How about we get you to finish then, yes?"
"I already did."
"No, no. I mean together. I want to feel you." Y/n looked between his eyes, chuckling. "You don't think you being in me already is you feeling me?" Fermín and Y/n burst into a small fit of giggles. "Okay, okay. We can go another round." Fermín's smile faded as he took one of her legs and placed them over his shoulder. Y/n's brows raised. He had never done this position before, but she trusted him completely. His hips rolled forward once again, hitting a spot in her that had never been hit before. "Oh my god." The two of them let out a synchronised sigh. Y/n's hands flung to Fermín biceps, gripping and leaving behind white scratch marks on his tanned skin. He once again sped up, drilling into her like he never usually did, but in her current state, Y/n couldn't complain; she enjoyed it too much. "Fermín, I'm close!" She nearly screamed. Fermín gripped her hips, pulling her down to meet him. She felt her core tightening as she grew closer and closer to her orgasm. "Fermín, oh my god!" She screamed. "Hold on for me, princesa." He murmured. "I'm close too." Y/n winced. "I don't know if I can."
"I know you can. You're already doing so well for me." It took everything in her to not cum, waiting and waiting for Fermín to tell her he was about to finish. She grew more and more sensitive, eager to reach her orgasm and then finally, Fermín could feel himself twitching. "Coño. Tan bonita cuándo dentro de ti." While she only understood a little Spanish, it always pit her over the edge and this time was no different. She finally let go and let herself come crumbling beneath him as he held her in his arms doing the exact same thing. Their sweaty foreheads rested against eachother as they rode out their orgasms, panting and catching their breath.
He pulled out gently and headed for the bathroom to grab a towel. "Im sorry if it was too much." He whispered as he helped to clean her up. "Sorry? I enjoyed it." She smiled back. He pecled her lips lovingly before chucking the towel into a small wash basket. He walked back to the bed and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her onto his chest.
"So, you enjoyed it?" Fermín chuckled. Y/n looked up. "Yup. Best sex of my life." She replied. "Ah so I'm doing better." Y/n giggled. "You could say that." He grinned, looking down towards her, pure adoration in his eyes like always. "I was writing my wedding vows in my head that whole time." Y/n burst out laughing at the joke. "You're such an idiot!"
"Yeah, but you love me." Y/n shrugged. "That's true. And I assume you love me?" Fermín nodded. "Of course I do."

Ahhh okay okay okay so inspired by Fermin having a gf now ( sad hours ) but anyway !! What if y/n has feeling for Fermin and she gets the courage to tell him about her feelings buuut she finds out that he has a gf and she starts to move on with Charles or Arthur 🤭 and Fermin finds out about her feelings but it’s already to late !
too late / Arthur Leclerc
Summary: Arthur x female!reader - When you find out your crush has a girlfriend, you start to move onto someone else. But when you're old crush, Fermín, finds out you once had feelings for him, though he's not sure anything would have changed, he still, for some reason, wished he would have known.
Warnings: a bit of anxiety/nervous energy, vertigo, swear
Requested?: Yes.
You sit on a bench outside a cute little coffee shop, listening as the person talking to you on the other side of the phone finishes, "...so yeah, anyways, it's super cool I got to meet you!"
"Yeah," you smile broadly. "You'll have to introduce me to your brother, too."
"Oh, of course. You know, I think we could be fri-"
"Oh, one second! Looks like my friend is here! Sorry, I got to go!" you respond quickly, your face lighting up to see none other than Fermín López sauntering down the street towards you, the biggest, cutest smile radiating off his handsome face.
"Oh, right, sorry- Nice talking to you!" the man on the phone says quickly with a little laugh.
And you hang up on Arthur Leclerc, popping up off the park bench to meet Fermín, slipping your cellphone into your gold purse. You beam at Fermín, exclaiming, "Hey! Ready to get some coffee?"
"Sure..." he says, a slight hint of confusion in his voice, perhaps at your overly energetic excitement this morning.
Well, that's because he has no idea what you're planning on doing this morning. Naturally.
"Well, you seem like you're in a good mood," the Spanish man says with a little smile, holding the door for you.
"I am! Actually, I'm in a great mood!" you exclaim, beaming.
"Right," he chuckles, eyes sparkling a bit.
Just as you order the coffee, rethinking for the one hundredth time what you're about to do, butterflies well up in your chest, so that the moment you're sitting across from him at the coffee table, you immediately say excitedly, "So, uh, Fermín! I've got... uhm, kind of, I guess, to admit, but also to ask you..."
He smiles a bit, nodding. "Is this why you seem to have all this nervous pent-up energy this morning? Sure, you can tell me anything."
You gulp, your high emotions very suddenly sinking at the thought that Fermín is exactly right.
You're only feeling this nervous because you're a nervous wreck, Y/n! your brain snaps at yourself.
All the sudden, you deflate like a short-lived balloon, releasing a long sigh as your hands immediately reach for a napkin to absently begin anxiously curling. "Um... yeah, so..."
Come on, Y/n. Just say it. A few moments ago, you were so excited...!
You sigh shakily before suddenly blurting, looking up to meet the 21-year-old's brown eyes, "Fermín, I guess I just wanted to say I like you. You're cute, and I... I've kind of had feelings for you for a while now, so..." you falter, feeling so embarrassed and warm, before pushing out the rest: "So, would you like to, like, date me or something? Like, do you feel the same way, I guess?"
"Oh, uhm-" Fermín begins, biting his lip. "Well, uh, thank you so much, Y/n, but..." he trails off as your heart begins to sink in dread.
You feel all the blood rush from your head, feeling a little dizzy. "But what?" you manage.
"But, well..." he smiles nervously, before finishing carefully, "Y/n, I guess you didn't hear, but I have a girlfriend now..."
Immediately, you feel a terrible, crushing, embarrassing shame crash over you, and you lean back, your hands shaking. "Oh- I-" you begin, but decide nothing you're going to say is going to make this situation better for either of you.
So you get up and run out of the coffee shop, leaving your nearly full coffee across the table from Fermín, to get cold and eventually be dumped down the sink.
For the next week, you kind of go into a state of depressed hermitage, out of the pure embarrassment and heartbreak of the single guy who you've been crushing on for over a year getting a girlfriend right before you decide to admit your emotions, basically making you feel like absolute crap. And making you look like a total fool.
You sigh, getting home from work one day and flopping on your couch, about to put on some stupid mindless television show to redirect your thoughts, when suddenly your phone begins ringing on the coffee table. You sigh and pick it up, and just stare at the screen for a few seconds when you see it's none other than Arthur Leclerc.
About a week before the incident with Fermín, so about two weeks ago now, you had the experience of your life, getting to go to a Formula 1 Grand Prix. You happened to, by sheer luck, to run into Arthur Leclerc, who was immediately extremely friendly and seemed to take a specific liking to you. You had a good conversation together, before he said he had to get going, but quickly wrote down his phone number for you, telling you to stay in touch, because he'd love to get to know you more.
So here you are, a heartbroken mess about Fermín López, staring at your phone as Arthur Leclerc tries to call you.
What's up with me and all these famous athlete sports boys?
You sigh, and though you really don't want to- in fact, it's kind of the last thing you feel like doing right now- you answer the call and press the phone to your ear, saying tentatively, "Hello...?"
"Hey, Y/n!" comes the cheery accented voice of the Monégasque. "Just calling, seeing how you're doing, and what you're up to!"
"Oh..." you sigh, not really sure what to say.
But Arthur immediately picks up on your lack of excitement. "Is something wrong?"
You're silent for a few moments, before figuring, Ah, what the heck? Might as well just tell him. The Leclerc's seem like they could be a relatively emotionally intelligent family, anyway, and saying simply, "Well, I haven't been doing so great, because a guy I really have been liking for a while kind of... rejected me. You see, he has a girlfriend, and I didn't know that..." You're still not sure why you're telling Arthur this, but regardless, it feels good to.
"Oh, shit. I'm sorry about that... That sucks... Well..." He's silent for a few seconds, before continuing, "Maybe I have some news that might cheer you up?"
"What?" you ask, not quite sure if anything could cheer you up about Fermín, until you finally just get over him yourself.
But then, just like that, Arthur Leclerc drops, "Would you like to come to the Monaco Grand Prix? I'll be there, and you said you wanted to meet my brother!"
You sit, stunned silent for a few seconds, before finally the rational side of your brain wins over and you say, "Oh, Arthur, I'd love to, but I just don't think I'll be able to. I live in Barcelona; that's not exactly a stroll away from Monte Carlo. And besides that, travelling, food, ticket, and lodging expenses would be through the roof. I'm so incredibly sorry to say this, but I just don't think something like that can work."
"Well, I do think it can work," Arthur suddenly chimes.
You sit in confused silence for a few more seconds, before saying, kind of annoyed at the rich Monaco-dweller, "How can you even say that?"
"Because," he begins, and somehow you can just tell he's smirking, "It's a short flight, and I can pay for your plane ticket, as well as your race ticket, paddock pass, you know, the works. And as for food and lodging, you can stay with me, of course!"
You sit, gaping and completely stunned silent this time, so much so that Arthur has to ask, "Uh... Are you still there, Y/n?"
"I- Y- Yeah, I am... I'm here... I just... Arthur-! Why on earth would you do all that for me?! We only met once! We're basically strangers! This is, like, our fourth conversation ever! You're crazy!"
"Call me crazy, but I've taken a liking to you, I guess. And you're pretty, and have got a heart of gold, and I think it would be cool to make a dream of yours come true. Or- a couple of your dreams come true, even. If that's okay with you!"
"What do you mean, if it's okay with me? Of course it's okay with me, but- it's just-"
"Alright, good, then! It's okay with you! I'll arrange everything for you, then, and I'll see you for the Monaco Grand Prix weekend?"
"I- I mean, I-"
"I'll see you then; au revoir!"
You sit on your couch, slowly taking the phone down away from your ear, just staring at it, your mouth still slightly hanging open, sort of frozen from whatever just happened.
What did just happen?!
"Hey!" Arthur Leclerc beams, swiftly walking up to you and taking your bags straight out of your hands, before teasing, "What, do you never fly? You look thoroughly lost!" He laughs a little.
"No, no," you laugh, snapping out of it, beaming to see the Monégasque man in front of you. "Just... yeah, anyways, great to see you again! And I still can't thank you enough for everything you're doing for m-"
"Oh, just wait to say one big 'thank you' at the end of the weekend, and let yourself enjoy the moment now. Come on, let's get to my house to drop off your stuff, and then, I'll bring you to dinner with my family."
"Wait, sorry, what?!" you ask in shock, following after him. "Did you just say dinner with your family?!"
"Yes, I sure did!" the 23-year-old beams as you catch up to him. "Just you wait and see- you'll love them!"
"This still doesn't feel right... We hardly know each other, and you're bringing me to meet your family?"
"Yeah, of course," Arthur says as he gets out of his car and comes around to open the door for you, before finishing, "I mean, Alexandra is going to be there!"
"Isn't she Charles's girlfriend," you deadpan.
"M-hm," Arthur responds with a little smile. "But it doesn't matter. Besides, if we get to know each other more, maybe one day you will be my girlfriend."
You stop walking up to the house and just stand there, gaping at him. "You're- You're so forward, my God!"
"What?" the older individual teases. "You don't like that?"
"I mean- I don't know- I guess I just wasn't expecting that..."
"Oh," he grins. "Well, it's funny when you gape at me like that. Either way, so far at least, you sure seem like my type." He grabs your wrist and says, pulling you toward the house, "Anyways, on we go!"
"Right..." you breathe, your head swirling from those words said by him.
Dinner is great with Arthur's family, and it's a dream come true to meet the Charles Leclerc (you're a huge fan), but it doesn't, surprisingly enough, get interesting until you make it make to Arthur's home, when he says, upon seeing you yawn, "Want to come to my room, and we can go to bed? I'm sleepy myself; it's been a long day for me, too."
You blink at him hesitantly, saying, "You're saying this in a way suggesting we're both sleeping in your room."
He's silent for a few seconds, before he nervously smiles and says, "Yeah... if that's okay with you."
You stare at him before a few seconds, before saying tentatively, "Okay... I guess."
So later, though you would've never, ever imagined this happening a week ago, you're all in your comfy pajamas, crawling into bed next to none other than Arthur Leclerc.
"You don't think this is... wrong, or anything?" you venture as you lay down.
He snorts, putting his arm around you. "No. Why would it be? We're just cuddling."
"Exactly!"
"And I want to get to know you more. So what's on your mind?"
You sigh. "What's on my mind is that it feels weird to be cuddling with someone the fifth time I've met them."
Suddenly Arthur has a cheeky smile on his face as he jokes, "Have you ever heard of one-night-stands? It means on the first time people meet-"
"Arthur!" you groan, rolling your eyes in slight amusement.
He just pats your shoulder, before a moment of silence follows, that for some reason doesn't feel awkward at all, though you would expect it to.
No, not at all. It's almost comfortable. Nearly comforting.
And when Arthur finally does start talking again, it's nice. He starts a conversation, and now, all the sudden, you feel willing to engage in it with him.
As the night goes further on, your voices become even more hushed, until, after hours of just laying and chatting together, Arthur's arm around you and rubbing your shoulder gently, when he's gently whispering, mid-sentence, you begin to doze.
There's a few seconds of silence from Arthur, until he whispers, "You asleep, Y/n?"
When he gets no response but your gentle, warm, steady breathing, he smiles and cuddles in closer, before closing his eyes and letting himself drift off into peaceful slumber as well.
For the rest of the whole weekend, you have a blast with Arthur in Monaco, every minute spent with him becoming more and more enjoyable. All you can think is that he may have been onto something with all his cuddling and silly flirting.
And now you stand in the Ferrari garage, your whole face lit up, adrenaline pumping through your body as you watch Charles Leclerc cross the finish line before any other driver.
In Monaco.
You feel Arthur's strong arm throw itself around your shoulders, pulling you to his side as he says near your ear, "Oh my God, Y/n... Charles won..."
You laugh a bit before looking up to meet Arthur's sparkling eyes. He's got a huge grin on his face, pure joy radiating off his being, and you squint, seeing a wet glistening on his cheeks, before suddenly realising and exclaiming, "Are you crying?!"
He grins even wider, if that's even possible, and says, his eyes searching yours and finding whatever they were looking for, "Yeah, and so what?"
You breathe shakily and suddenly, though you would've never pictured yourself doing this ever, throw your arms around Arthur Leclerc in a tight embrace. "I'm so happy for you!" you squeal, pressing your cheek into his chest.
"You should be happy for Charles!" he beams, laughing, snatching your hand. "And, anyways, let's go meet him by the finish line and watch him lift his trophy!" And just like that, the two of you are off running to see the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix race winner.
At the beginning of the weekend, you barely knew Arthur Leclerc. He was a nice guy who had shown a bit of interest in you who just so happened to be a rich racer boy from Monaco with a heart of gold. But by the end of the weekend, it almost feels natural to hug him, or pat his shoulder, or hold his hand.
Before the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, your heart and head still ached and pounded every single living moment, second of your time, reminding you of the loss and the jealousy you were feeling concerning Fermín López. Now, it all feels washed away with the affection and friendship that's been shown to you by Arthur Leclerc.
All of the sudden, you don't feel a desperation for Fermín anymore. You're content with having Arthur's contact in your phone, and knowing he's just as interested in you as you are in him.
It feels good when emotions are mutual.
So going back to Barcelona, it's different than when you left for Monaco.
There's a warmth in your chest and an excitement for what's to come, rather than the cold dread and regret you felt in such unbearable amounts when you left.
For days, you can't get Arthur out of your spinning head, and all the things about him you accidentally fell in love with.
But with Fermín, I never really did have a chance... But Arthur? Arthur started this whole thing. Clearly, he likes me.
And just as you're laying in bed in the morning, grinning about that instead of getting up to get dressed, your phone buzzes on your nightstand. You look over and snatch it up, excited that it may be a message from Arthur, but just stare when you open your phone and see it is instead from Fermín.
You don't know how to feel.
You quickly look to see what he's texted you.
Fermín: Hey I saw from your socials you went to the Monaco grand prix. I hope it was fun. want to meet up sometime?
You sigh, staring at that. Before, without a shadow of a doubt, no hesitation, you would have immediately said 'yes,' and been thoroughly excited about it.
But now, something has changed.
You sigh and decide, sort of on a whim, to just call him, instead.
He pick ups after only a few rings with, "Hello?"
"Hi, Fermín... What's up?"
"I'd like to know what's up with you! You went to the Monaco Grand Prix! How was it? Who'd you go with?"
"Oh," you smile a little. "Actually, I went with Charles Leclerc's little brother, Arthur Leclerc. I got to meet Charles and a bunch of the other drivers, but Arthur is famous in his own right, too."
"Oh, wow... Well, cool! So have you known Arthur Leclerc for a while, or...?"
You chuckle. "Actually, no. But he had a great time. I really like him, to be honest. He's really sweet; his whole family is."
"Ah..." Fermín says, kind of trailing off, before picking up and saying, "Oh, I looked up Arthur's Instagram. They're from Monaco, right?"
"Yeah, and Charles won! It was awesome!"
"Oh..." More silence, before Fermín finally says, "There's a picture of you and him on one of his posts... Are you guys dating or something?"
"Huh? No, why?"
"He's kissing your cheek in the picture."
You immediately blush and groan, "Arthur! Why did he post that one?!" You sigh. "No, we're not dating, but we both like each other a lot."
"Oh. You do?"
"Yeah, he's really super sweet. I'm so glad I met him; we really just clicked right away..."
"Oh... that's good to hear..." Fermín responds, not exactly feeling it was, for some reason.
After he gets off the phone with you, as he drives to training, he's deep in thought.
He knows you liked him, and probably did for a while. And asked him on a date soon after he started dating his girlfriend. But there was something about knowing you liked him, and knowing you're so sweet, that...
Perhaps a small little idea in the back of his head said, Well if this doesn't work out, I always know Y/n will be there.
And besides that, he's always valued your friendship so much. It feels weird to hear you moved on so fast to this race car driver dude.
As Fermín pulls into the parking lot, all he can think is a grave, I wish I would've known. I don't know if it would've changed anything, but either way, it's too late now...

Part 4
A/N: things are getting more interesting from now on 🤭
Summary: Fermin is sick, so you’re taking care of him and also meet his best mate.
You can find the other parts here
"Hey"
His voice was groggy on the phone when he picked up. "Hey. Are you coming today?" You asked. "Sorry I completely forgot to tell you. I'm not feeling very well" he groaned, probably frustrated he forgot. "It's okay... if you want I can pass by, bring you the new stuff" you suggested. "Yeah, if you have time" he coughed. "Sure. Can I come now? Or is it too late?" You asked, looking at the clock. 4 pm. "No, it's okay" he replied. "Okay I'll be there in an hour".
Before packing your books, you made a list with what to buy. He wasn't very specific with what was not well with him, but you supposed he got the flu, so you typed some things on your phone and left your apartment.
While you were decided which sweets to buy, Fermin was freaking out. His place was a mess, he didn't even unpack his bag from the National camp, he didn't wash the dishes and he didn't change his clothes for two days. The fever he got made him not leave the bed that much. So he put the dishes into the dishwasher, threw his clothes from the bag into the washing machine and put on a fresh pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. Then he cleaned the living room and kitchen for a bit, and turned the tv on. Now he knew how you felt when he came into your place.
"Hi?" Fermin asked, picking up his phone. "Hey Fermin, it's me. I forgot to ask you where you live" you chuckled. Damn, having a crush on you made him look stupid. "Yeah I'll share the location" he replied. You were both two idiots (in love).
"Hey" he said, opening the door for you. "Nice neighbourhood" you said, passing by him. "You didn't have to" he said, helping you with the bags in your hands. "Well, I remember someone bringing me coffee and breakfast, so it felt just right to do this. Especially since you said you're not feeling well" you blushed, taking your shoes off. "Well thanks, but this is not really food? Like they're ingredients" he asked confused. "Well yeah, I thought I could cook my secret recipe for when I'm not feeling well" you said, following him to the kitchen. "You don't have to" he said. "I know, but I want to" you shrugged. "And here are the notes I made. And we have to do a presentation for next time" you said, placing your books on the kitchen island. "Me and you?" He asked. "I don't know yet. Professor M. said he'll think about it. But you need to come to the class to present it together" you explained. "Well I can come, but I'm a bit sick" he chuckled. "That's okay. I bet you're not in for a project" you said, getting the ingredients out. "Not even for keeping my eyes opened" he said. "So what are you making?" He asked. "Chicken soup. And a dessert, I hope you can eat it" you said. "Usually maybe not, but coach told me to do anything to be fully recovered in a week, so..." he shrugged, sitting on the bar stool, watching how easily you made your way through his kitchen. Like you actually lived here. It felt so domestic being like this with you.
He browsed through your notes, groaning when a sharp pain went through his head. "You okay?" You asked worried. "Yeah, I have a headache" he replied. "Maybe you should lay down" you suggested. "But the courses—". "Go on the sofa" you said. "So bossy" he smirked, but you were right. No point in forcing his brain to do anything if it was in pain. He laid down, still having a view of you in the kitchen. "Here. It's for headaches and fever. And put a blanket on" you sighed. "Food is almost ready, so don't fall asleep" you said, noticing how his eyes got drowsier. You went back into the kitchen, finishing the last things when the door bell rang. "You stay right there" you warned him. "I'll take it".
"Hola?" The guy you opened the door to said. "Is Fermin home?" He asked. "Yeah hi. He is a bit sick. Come in" you said politely. "Gracias" he smiled, coming in and discarding his shoes. "Fermin cabron..." he said, sitting near Fermin on the sofa and started talking in Spanish. You went to put the food into the dishes while you heard them talking and caught some words novia, muy guapa. "Food's ready" you announced and the boys came to sit at the kitchen island.
"Fermin didn't tell us he had a girlfriend" the guy said smirking. "Y/N, this is Gavi and Gavi this is Y/N, a colleague from university" Fermin introduced the two of you. "Nice to meet you" you smiled, taking a bite of your food. "She's a fan actually. Has a t-shirt of you" Fermin said casually and you choked on your food. "That so? Maybe I can sign in for you some time" he offered. "Yeah that would be great thanks" you said, kicking Fermin under the table. "It's good that there is someone to take care of him, poor guy. He really wanted to train today" Gavi said with puppy eyes. "If he rests, he'll be back in no time" you said. "But he has to study right?" He asked and you nodded. "Yeah actually we have a project together, so tell me when it's okay to come" you said to Fermin. "Well I'm already a bit better thanks to you, so maybe in 2 days? That okay?" Fermin asked and you nodded.
"You walked here?" Fermin asked as you washed the dishes, even though he told you to just leave them, you couldn't. "Yeah". "It's pretty late. I can ask Gavi to drive you home" he suggested. "If he doesn't mind me" you shrugged. "He won't. Thank you for today. You didn't have to—". "I wanted to. And I'll see you in 2 days" you said, taking your things. "Yeah see y'a. And goodnight" Fermin smiled.
"So... you're together?" Gavi broke the ice. You burst into laughing and so did he. "That was so lame" you said. "I know I know, sorry. But he's very focused on football, so I didn't know if he had someone" he explained. "But I forgot about university and pretty girls" he added. "It's just this year that we started talking more. His friends dropped out and I'm the only one who's actually going to classes so" you shrugged. "And I like helping people and he needs help with all this. Wouldn't want him not scoring goals" you grinned. "You're a fan, that's amazing. And I don't feel weird" he said. "Most of the girls are like omg Gavi, let's take a picture, they try to kiss me and so on. I don't like it and neither Fermin likes it" he said when you have him a confused look. "I wouldn't like it either" you said. "Thanks for the ride. Goodnight" you said as you arrived in front of your building. "No problem. And maybe we'll meet again. Maybe at a game" he said. "That would be nice. Bye" you smiled, waving at him.
Gavi ⚽️
She's a keeper ;)
Gavi's text startled Fermin as he was stalking your Instagram. Of course Fermin knew you were one to keep, but he wasn't sure you two were on the same page. You were a neat smart girl who knew what she wanted and he was a football player, travelling a lot. He remembered hearing you talk with a girl about what you want in a future relationship: I want stability. He could be that, but travelling a lot wouldn't be it. You needed someone who was there with you, not away playing football. With this sad thought, he went to sleep, knowing he had to forget that stupid crush.
Hope you like it 🥰

La Roja - Fermín Lopez

You sit on the edge of the sofa, phone clutched tightly in your hand, eyes flicking from the muted television to the closed door of your shared apartment. Your heart races with a mixture of anticipation and hope. Fermín, your boyfriend, has been waiting for this moment his entire life, and you’ve been waiting right alongside him.
The past weeks have been a whirlwind of tension and excitement. Every time the phone rang, both of you would jump, hoping it was the call from de la Fuente himself. You’ve seen Fermín play his heart out on the field, every match an audition, every goal and assist a plea to be noticed.
Today, though, feels different. There’s a buzz in the air, a kind of electricity that makes the hairs on your arms stand up. Fermín left for training this morning with a determined look in his eyes, more focused than usual, if that’s even possible.
As you glance at the clock, you realize he’s due back any minute now. You stand, unable to sit still, pacing the room. The TV, still on mute, shows highlights from last night’s games. You spot Fermín in one of the clips, effortlessly dodging defenders and setting up the winning goal. A smile spreads across your face, pride swelling in your chest.
The sound of keys jangling in the lock snaps you back to the present. The door swings open, and there he is—Fermín, your Fermín. His usually confident stride is hesitant, and his expression unreadable. Your heart skips a beat as he steps inside.
“Hey,” you say softly, trying to gauge his mood. He looks up at you, and for a moment, you can’t read his eyes.
Then, slowly, a smile breaks across his face, growing wider until he’s grinning from ear to ear. “I got the call,” he says, voice trembling with excitement and disbelief.
You let out a scream of joy, launching yourself into his arms. He catches you, laughing, spinning you around in a jubilant dance. “You did it! You really did it!”
“I can’t believe it,” he murmurs into your hair, holding you close. “I’m going to play for Spain.”
You pull back to look at him, tears of happiness in your eyes. “I knew you would. I’ve always known.”
The two of you collapse onto the sofa, still holding each other tightly. He tells you about the call, about how the coach praised his performance and dedication. You listen, hanging on every word, your heart soaring with pride.
As Fermín talks, your mind drifts back to when you first saw him play. He was just a teenager then, full of raw talent and unrefined skill. You remember the muddy fields and cold mornings, the way he would practice for hours, driven by a dream. You stood by him, cheering at every match, nursing his bruises, and celebrating his victories. Each step he took, you were there, his biggest fan and unwavering support.
“We should celebrate,” you say, jumping up. You decide to cook his favorite meal, filling the apartment with the rich, comforting scents of home-cooked food. Fermín calls his parents, his voice animated as he shares the news. Later, you both head out to your favorite spot in the city, a little ice cream parlour with a view of the sea, to toast to his success under the starlit sky.
The conversation naturally drifts to what comes next. The training camps, the matches, the possibility of playing in the Eurocopa. You discuss the logistics, the travel, and the new routines you’ll both need to adapt to. There’s excitement in the uncertainty, a sense of adventure in the new chapter unfolding before you. Fermín squeezes your hand, promising that no matter how busy things get, you’ll always come first.
Back at home, you give him a small, wrapped box. Inside is a bracelet with a simple charm—a small football and a heart intertwined. “For luck,” you say, fastening it around his wrist. He pulls you close, his eyes soft with gratitude. “I couldn’t have done this without you,” he whispers, and you know he means it.
As the evening fades into night, you talk about the future, your dreams intertwined. Through it all, Fermín keeps one arm around you, as if he can’t bear to let you go.

Hi!!! I see you write for majority of fc barca and was wondering if you could throw in a little Fermin? They’re at the beach and he wants to actually go out and swim and whatnot and reader was set on watching him (that being the agreement) but him being him, he persuades her and it’s just fluff. Love your writing!! 🥰🥰
Sun to me — Fermín Lopez.
Pairing: Fermín Lopez x Fem!Reader (could be gn)
Summary: You had agreed to go to the beach with your boyfriend on one simple condition, he didn’t make you go in the water. But of course, Fermín being Fermín, had somehow managed to convince you anyways.
Disclaimer/s: Playful threats! nothing actually serious though! Reader has a case of Thalassophobia …
A/N: guys you don’t understand how insane that thread of his made me. idk if i want him or berta more.
Waves lapped at the sandy beach’s shore, providing a calming background noise as you laid on your beach towel. The sun beat down against your skin and sweat glistened across you. Everything was perfect, until it wasn’t.
Constant shuffling and barely audible huffs of breath from your boyfriend made it so you couldn’t fully relax. Eventually, after it kept going on for well over twenty minutes, you pick your head up. “May I help you?”
Fermín hums, facing you with an innocent smile. “What?” Seriously.
“Fer, what do you want.” You ask, forehead creasing. You knew exactly what he wanted, but you’d be damned before you ever agreed to it.
“Well,” he ventures, “I was thinking.. you look really hot—not like hot-hot, but—well you are hot.” Now he’s stumbling over his words, eye’s narrowing as he tried to correct himself. Suppressing a laugh, you motion for him to just keep going.
“Okay, I meant you’re sweating, so.. let’s go swim.” He finishes, eyes sparkling with mischief. “There’s no scary dolphins to eat you this close to shore!”
“And you know that how?” You question, “because last time I checked, you weren’t an ocean expert. You kick balls for a living, hon. And also! What was my one condition for coming today?”
Fermín groans, head tipping back against the back of his beach chair. “Baby, please. I’m overheating.”
“So go on your own.” You reply sternly, laying your head back on your shirt that acted as a head rest.
Another whine from Fermín has your eyes opening again. “No stupid shit. Just getting in and if I see a dolphin, or some sea creature, i’m sacrificing you. I will not hesitate.” You cave, slowly sitting up.
A wide, vibrant smile spreads across Fermín’s lips. “Really?! I mean—not excited to be sacrificed, but you’ll come?” If you didn’t love him so much, you’d never be doing this. He looked so happy, so excited, you figured you’d get over your anxieties.
Nodding, you stand, reaching out your arms for him to take. Fermín take’s your hands gratefully, laughing as you struggle to pull him up.
As you walk the few yards toward the water, Fermín wraps an arm around your shoulders, placing a kiss to the top of your hairline. Something he did when he felt bad, so at least you knew he felt slightly guilty for making you get over your biggest fear for his sake.
The second the water reach past your ankles, panic consumed you. “Fer—I’m not sure this is a good idea..” You trail off, eyes wide as you stare out at the large body of water.
“Come’re.” He sighs, pulling you closer before bending down and scooping you up bridle style. You yelp, arms wrapping tightly around his neck, burying your head in his shoulder.
“You’re fineee.” He assures, letting out a breathy laugh as he treads further into the water.
You don’t open your eyes until you feel the water at your shoulders. Prying them open, you refuse to look at the water, instead relishing in how the waters temperature cooled you off instantly.
Fermín is watching you closely, a soft smile on his lips. “How’re you feeling? Can I set you down now?”
Be brave. Not too hard, you’ll be fine! Right? Right?
Nodding with much hesitance, you breathe deeply as your body is lowered, feet eventually touching the wet sand. No icky creatures touching you.. you’re fine!
Fermín takes his new found freedom and before swimming around, never straying further than an arms length away. “Come on, come swim.”
You lick your lips, contemplating the risks of swimming with him. While you’re distracted in your internal debate, Fermín grows impatient. Using his hand, he swipes at the water, effectively drenching you.
Your body stills, eyes squeezing shut. With pursed lips, you open your eyes to find him swimming away quickly, and you were not about to let him get away with that.
Jumping into action, you dive into the water, speeding after him. You hadn’t even thought about the fact that you were swimming further away from shore, you were simply just hell bent on getting revenge.
Fermín glances behind him, seeing you growing closer and closer. His lip tugs into a triumphant smirk as he stops. Treading water, he waits for you to get closer before ducking under the water.
When you come up for air, your heart stops. He was nowhere in sight. “Fermín.” You snap, “this isn’t fucking funny—AGGHH.”
The sound that left your throat made it seem like your leg had just been grazed my a shark’s fin, when in all reality it was your childish boyfriend’s hand grazing your thigh as it came up to rest on your waist.
His laughter fills your ears as he rests his head on your shoulder. Your anger subsides at the sound, head tipping back onto his shoulder with a simple eye roll. “You’re such a dick.” You giggle out, taking a few moments to catch your breath.
“Sorry.” He says through choked laughter. “I couldn’t resist.”
Pulling away, you swivel around in the water, arms coming up to wrap loosely around his neck. “Now i’m really never going to swim with you again.” The threat was weak since you knew Fermín always had a way of convincing you to do things.
The blondes head cocks to the side, “you say that now..”
“Shut up, you dork.” You huff, pressing your lips to his in a salty kiss.

Heyy can you pls do Fermin x jealous!reader?? Like she gets jealous about little things (When Fermin talks to a girl etc) But he gets confused at first but then reassures her. Sorry if it is too complicated!! Btw I love you for writing for Fermin honestly
Jealous Streak | Fermín Lopez
Hiii, thank you for my first request <33 Glad to write for this amazing young player :)
Genre: fermin x jealous!reader / slightly angst / fluff
———————————————————————
It was late afternoon when you decided to go meet Fermín earlier, at the Ciutat Esportiva. You were supposed to see each other at the end of his training session so the both of you go straightly at the restaurant to celebrate you 2 months of relationship. But since you finished your homeworks and you didn’t have anything to do, you wanted to surprise your boyfriend.
It has been 4 months since you first met each other, during the USA tour thanks to Pedri, that you know since you were 12. Fermín and you talked for awhile when he finally decided to confess you his feelings (and without stuttering).
-
You told your name at the entrance before coming inside of the building, reaching the stands of the stadium. The excitement that you felt seconds ago, quickly disappeared when you saw Fermín chatting and laughing with a beautiful brunette girl. You assumed they knew each other for awhile since the girl was enough confortable to touch his left arms while talking.
You stood there, staring at the scene in front of you for at least 5 minutes. He didn’t even notice you.
But Araujo did, when he was about to grab a drink and saw you, he elbowed your boyfriend, pointing his finger at you.
Fermín raised his head in your direction, confused, before smiling at you and running towards where you were standing.
“Holà cariña, how was your afternoon?”, he said while bending over to kiss your cheek.
“Great…”, you simply responded before hearing another voice a little further.
“Fermín! You have to come now we didn’t finish!”
“I’m coming Jasmine!” “I see you at the end. Te quiero!” he said placing delicately his lips on yours, before jogging back to that supposed Jasmine
-
You were currently waiting for Fermín in front of the changing rooms, being exausted by the behavior of Jasmine. Since you arrived until the end of training, she was always near your lover, finding any excuses to talk to him.
You came out of your thoughts when you heard a throat shrinking. You raised your head to meet Gavi in front of you.
“Hi.” he said to you, offering you a simple smile.
“Hi Gavi, you did really great last match, congrats!”
“Thank you, I really appreciate it. Training wasn’t too boring to watch?”
“Not at all, especially when I see you fall so many times because of your laces.”, you responded laughing.
“Eh, I don’t allow you to laugh at me!”, he said while pushing you a bit.
“Sorry, sorry. It is not my fault if you can’t tie your shoes correctly”, you stated, still laughing and raising your hands in surrender.
Gavi was about to say something but he was stopped by Fermín’s cough.
“What did I miss?”, asked your boyfriend, sneaking his hand around your waist.
“Nothing much. We were just talking.”, you mumbled.
“Are you ready? We should go.”
“Yeah sure. Goodnight Gavi.”
“Goodnight y/n, bye Fermín, see you tomorrow!”, the boy exclaimed, before going to his car.
-
You were about to enter the parking lot when you heard some people shouting Fermín’s name.
“Can I go? It’s just for 5 minutes.” he asked you, facing you.
“Yeah sure, don’t worry…” you murmured.
“Sorry, thank you! You’re the best!” he smiled hugging you and excusing himself.
You decided to go inside of the car, waiting for Fermín to finish.
You were staring at Fermín taking picture with some kids, you smiled finding him cute when a blond girl around your age come to Fermín.
You were not going to deny that she was gorgeous, pretty doe eyes and a perfect smile. She asked your lover for a picture. Of course he gladly accepted, moving to her side.
The girl placed her hand around his waist, posing her head on his shoulder.
You were fuming.
How could he let this happen and do nothing about it?
But things get worse when she hugged him a bit too longer than necessary. You couldn’t stand it.
At this point you were on the verge of tears.
You were trying to calm yourself when you saw Fermín coming back to the car.
When he entered he stopped for a second, looking at you.
“Is everything okay?”, he asked.
“Yes everything is okay Fermín. Why wouldn’t I be? Can we go now please?”, you growled.
He didn’t add anything, just driving to the restaurant, sometimes glancing at you.
-
You were now sitting at your table in the restaurant. The riding was completely silent.
“You’re looking so good tonight hermosa…”, Fermín said softly.
“Oh great, only tonight. Thank you really much Lopez”, you spat.
“Wait it wasn’t how I meant-” he retorcated.
“Yeah sure.” you responded strenly.
“Okay what’s wrong? Did I do something? Please tell me cariña” he questioned while advancing his chair to have all his attention on you.
“I don’t know, maybe because you are flirting with girls in front of me?”
“What? What do you mean?”
“Oh please Fermín! I saw you with Jasmine all the fucking session. Always drooling over her, laughing at everything she is saying. You didn’t even noticed me! Araujo had to tell you that I was here. And-fuck, I want to go home.” You snapped before taking your purse because you didn’t want to cry in front of him.
Fermín stood up as fast as he could and grabbed you hand.
“Wait, y/n, don’t leave! Please. There is nothing with Jasmine, she was just working! She is in charge of the barça’s social medias and they asked her to focus on me during training. I was so nervous she just tried to make me comfortable so I wouldn’t freak out and make a foul of myself. Joder, y/n I love you so much I can’t even focus on anything else than you. You are consuming my thoughts from the beginning of the day until I go to sleep!”
He was now the one on verge of crying. Your expression softened and you took his hand, kissing his ankles before hugging him.
He then placed his hands on your cheeks and kiss your lips with so much tender that you could feel everything he said before.
When you moved away from his embrace, you just took his arms and said softly:
“Let’s go, we will better at home amor.”

Can request one where y/n is the sister of a f1 driver ( u can choose) and they find out she is dating either Fermin, pedri,or gavi because she appears at one of the games?!
found us out / Fermín López
Summary: Fermín x Sainz!girlfriend!singer!reader - Things don't blow over well with Carlo Sainz when you're caught dating a Barcelona player.
Warnings: censored cussing, a little bit of Spanish, reader being a singer isn't really important at all- i just made it a fact in order for things to tie in together and made more sense, mention of nausea, this ended up being pretty long
Requested?: Yes.
Author's Note: Boy, what a crossover! As I was reading this request I literally started giggling in excitement to write this because I knew how fun this would be. I think it's clear that this has to be the sister of Carlos, though. Always good when there's a little bit of drama.
You exhale, fiddling with your fingers under the table as you listen to your father and your brother discuss plans.
You wish that exhaling would release not only the carbon dioxide from your body, but also all the unnecessary stress building up in your chest.
The plans they're discussing are for a small party. Of course, it's a little party that you're expected to go to. It is an entire family event. Or so you've heard...
On the surface, having a family gathering surrounded around Real Madrid playing a literal fourth-tier team (Arandina) in the Copa del Rey sounds really lame. And secretly, you do think it's really lame. But the point is looking forward to watching them slaughter the underdogs. Which is fair enough.
Suddenly you interrupt: "Isn't El Derbi next week? Wouldn't that be better for a family get together?" You're sure they've already thought of that, but if there's any possible way you could get out of this, you'd love to find it.
"Haven't you been listening?" your father questions. "Carlos has plans already. He needs to leave Monday morning, and won't be back until Friday. That won't work."
You clench your jaw. No, you weren't listening, because you were stressing out about your plans for that weekend.
You figure if you're going to tell your brother and father, right now is just as good a time as any other time. You sigh and say, "Well, I'm busy on Sunday, actually..."
Both pairs of brown eyes snap to you, and Carlos says, "What do you have going on? And the Madrid game is on Saturday, anyway- shouldn't it be fine?"
Really, why shouldn't it be fine? What lie will you come up with? Because you can't really say what you're busy with on that day. You manage out, "Some friends... we planned weeks ago to go out that day. Have some fun, you know... Sorry. I guess... Would it be fine if... Surely I wouldn't be missed...? The, uh, thing he have planned is... for Sunday night...."
Carlos sighs, leaning back. "Come on, Y/n. You can't cancel? Family over friends, right?"
But you shake your head as you finish your meal. You stand up with your plate, knowing that if you stay any longer, you'll be guilt tripped into doing what they want you to do, despite what you want to do. So you say, "What's done is done. You can still have the party without me." And you walk out of the room.
Hours later, you're laying in bed. You should be sleeping, but instead you're staring up at the ceiling and thinking.
'Family over friends, right?'- Carlos' words from earlier play through your head in the exact tone he had said it. Yeah, family over friends, Carlos. You've been seeing him and the rest of your family on and off frequently for the past month. But the one you really want to see? You haven't seen him in over a month, and you miss him, dearly. You just want to be able to see him. To surprise him.
And you know he misses you, too, by the constant text messages he sends you.
And, with perfect timing, your phone buzzes on your bedside stand next to you. You pick it up right away and smile to yourself when you see it's him. Telling you he can't sleep. Asking if you want to face time.
You don't even respond, and just call him first.
A smile immediately sneaks up on you when you see your boyfriend. His golden brown hair is all messed up, as he's leaning on a soft pillow, and he has a blanket pulled up all the way to his chin. His brown eyes look even deeper in the dim lighting, but they light up when they view you across the phone. "¡Hola, mi corazón!"
Immediately you feel butterflies fly up in your stomach at his little pet name. "Hey, Fermín," you say, much more casually. "How are you doing?"
He shrugs, and his eyes flutter down a little. "I can't sleep... I wanted to hear your pretty voice. And see your pretty face."
You smile softly, but ask in concern, "Why can't you sleep?"
But a cute little grin appears in his face, and he laughs a little. "Because I'm thinking about you."
"Oh!" you chuckle. "I see..."
You continue chatting together softly for who knows how long. But this is what you do. One of you calls and you can't help but just chat for minutes or hours or however long.
You just love the sounds of each other's voices and the sparkle in each other's eyes.
Saturday evening, just as family member are starting to arrive at the house, you walk to the door, pulling your hair into a ponytail, about to walk out. Your brother stops you, saying, "So you are really going?"
You turn, meeting his eyes as you grab your black long coat. "Yeah, I am. I'm sorry, Carlos..." you add when you see the disappointment in his big brown eyes.
He shrugs, and says what he always does: "Alright. Well, just be careful. And have fun. When will you be back?"
You hesitate. This is the very question you didn't want him to ask. "Uh... Probably Monday morning... I'll text you, though."
His eyebrows knit together even further. "Monday morning? I thought you were just having a night with your friends."
"One of them suggested we could stay at her house and spend the following day doing something else," you lie, nearly effortlessly now."
"Why not just come home?"
You sigh at the question. The truth is, you booked a hotel so you could catch Fermín as soon as possible in the morning and spend more time with him, since you'll have to get to Madrid right away again afterwards. You just want to get going. But you know Carlos only asks questions because he cares. Being nine years older than you, he's always been very protective of you. Too protective. But you know it's just because he cares.
He just cares too much, and it makes you angry. It's hard to keep secrets from his honest eyes.
"Because I was invited to hang out more and I haven't seen this friend in a while!" This one is only half a lie.
"Oh..." he slowly nods. "Well... where does this friend live, then? Far enough for you to just stay there, or... I mean, you haven't seen this friend in a while, so I'm assuming they don't live in Madrid?"
"Nothing- er, yeah, we, uh... she lives in, uh, Sigüenza! Yeah, Sigüenza! And, well, you know, she just moved there and there's uh, you know, it's Sigüenza! The cool stuff there, in... Sigüenza..." You've lost it. You're literally pulling sh*t out of thin air now.
And Carlos can tell. "You're lying. Where are you really going?"
"No, no! I am going there! My friend just moved there! There's castles and sh*t she thinks is cool and she wants to show me! And like go around like I think there's a restaurant she likes and... yeah! And then we'd probably just maybe go to a club for an hour or two or something tonight and then go back and hang out at her house!"
Carlos looks thoroughly unsure. "Is it good for you to go to a club...? Be careful..."
"Oh, come on!" You're speaking too quickly. "There'll be a few of us, and we're not stupid! You know that, Carlos! Don't worry about it, we'll be fine! I'm an adult, for God's sake!"
"Well..." he murmurs, "I hope you're not lying to me. I hope you wouldn't do that."
You swallow, but nod, and feel terrible as you say, "Of course I wouldn't. Why would I lie about something like this?"
"I can think of lots of reasons, but I won't get into it." Carlos says with that look of concern still in his eyes. "Well, be careful. I can see you're impatient to go, so I'll let you. Have fun. Te amo, Y/n."
"M-hm!" you say, and rush out the door. You didn't want to be leaving this late, but you figure you'll just have to hope you get there at a reasonable time.
Fermín nods as João (Félix) discussing the upcoming game with him, watching the Portguese man's eyes as he speaks his thoughts. So he catches it when João raises his eyes, looking over Fermín's shoulder.
You grin, bringing your finger to your lips as you walk down the hall towards the two, behind Fermín's back, making eye contact with João. João subtly nods, makes eye contact with Fermín and says, "Nothing. I was just seeing things."
You thoroughly appreciate João's playing along. And his good acting.
"Seeing things?" your sweet boyfriend asks his teammate. You reach Fermín just as he's turning around to look anyway. He he lets out a confused, "Uh- oh!?" noise when you pull him into a hug, before (pretty much) yelling, "Wait, Y/n?!"
You giggle, and nod your thanks to João, who's smiling and practically chuckling himself. He nods and gives a small wave, before turning to saunter away, a smile on his lips. "So, how's my Fermín?" you ask softly.
Your boyfriend hugs you so tight, it slightly hurts, but you don't complain. You're probably hugging him tighter. He's giggling, and starts showering your cheeks with kisses, before exclaiming softly, "Very good, now that you're here! But why are you here, huh? ¡Mi corazón!" He's so adorable about your little surprise arrival. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
"So it could be a surprise! And so I could see you acting all cute and surprised like this!" You grin up at him, your hand on his chest.
"Stop that!" he laughs, touching his nose to yours, holding you close. But then he gets a little more serious. "How long of a drive was it? I'm assuming you were in Madrid?"
"Madrid to Barbastro? It wasn't so bad. I would drive any difference to get to you, though..."
This makes him chuckle and give you those soft little lovey-dovey eyes that you love to see. He strokes your hair as you rub his back a little, before murmuring, "You were staying with your brother? What did you tell him?"
You smile at this question. Fermín- he always thinks deeply about a situation- especially if it's involving you. He always worries and makes sure everything went well with you. He really cares. "Just told him I'm staying with a friend," you chuckle and add, "In Sigüenza!"
"Sigüenza? Have you ever even been there?" He smiles, clearly amused.
"Uh, maybe, like, once. Not sure if he completely believed me, but I got out of there. So that I could come here and see you! Figured a game like this would be better for me to come to. You know, maybe since it'll be such a small stadium, it'll be actually easier for me to just get in and hide in the crowd."
Fermín nods, gently stroking your cheek, looking into your eyes and says, "If you think so." He's just so focused on taking in your presence.
He leans in and kisses your cheek again, when (of course) Ferran Torres turns the corner, slaps Fermín on his back, and says in a teasing voice with a chuckle, "Got to get going, Fermín. Glad you're having a good time with your girlfriend, but-"
"Oh, Ferran!" you snap, pulling away from your boyfriend to glare at the older man. "Would you shut up?! We haven't seen each other in forever. But I guess you wouldn't get how it feels, since clearly you could never pull-"
"Hey, hey!" Fermín laughs, putting a hand on your shoulder. But he's grinning. He loves your spunk. "Leave the poor guy alone. He's right, corazón. I do have to get going now."
Ferran just waves as he walks off, giggling mischievously. You roll your eyes and turn back to Fermín. "So annoying." But you're grinning. You hug him a last time, peck his lips, and murmur, "I'll go to my seat now. I'm excited to watch you do great out there, mi chico guapo."
He grins and says as he starts to turn to walk the way Ferran walked a minute earlier, "You just watch. I'm going to go out there and score a goal. For you. Okay?"
You grin back and nod as you pull on your mask, hat, and sunglasses- hopefully enough to hide your face from cameras. "I'll be watching for it."
He nods, that lovely adorable little smile on his face, waves to you, blows a kiss, and walks away from you.
Adrenaline fills every cell of your body as the ball hits the back of the net. A goal. But not just any goal.
Your Fermín's goal!
Your muscles send you to your feet, and you cheer, clapping your hands together, watching your boyfriend. You're sitting in a seat very close to the pitch, and you know that if he wanted to, Fermín could come over and hug you right now. But he knows he can't. He understands and respects that you can't be being pointed out. It has to stay a secret.
So, instead, he eyes you, with all the joy in the world.
You grin back, nodding at him. You can't help but giggle.
After the game, you return to Fermín's arms immediately, as if there's a magnetic force between you and him. "Hola, mi prícipe azul," you mutter softly with a little chuckle, before squealing and saying, "You did so good! What a goal! You're amazing!"
"Stop..." he murmurs back, but is clearly loving your praise.
You smile and lean up, about to kiss him, when suddenly your phone starts buzzing and ringing in your back pocket. You hesitate, eyes locked with your boyfriend's, before sighing and leaning away. You slip your phone out of your pocket. "Oh..." you stare at the screen. "It's Carlos."
Fermín nods understandingly and leans away. "I'll keep quiet. I know you have to answer it."
You nod, sending him a grateful smile, before leaning against the wall and answering the phone with a bubbly, "¡Eh, Carlos! ¿Cómo te va?" You hope you don't sound so cheery that is sounds like you're faking it. Well, it's not like you're not happy. You are!
Carlos completely ignores your question, cutting right to the chase. "Where are you?"
"Uh...? I'm at my friend's house. In Sigüenza. Why?"
"Really?" Carlos asks slowly. "How far of a drive is it from Barbastro to Sigüenza? Because I doubt it's under fifteen minutes."
You feel your heart drop to your stomach, and you lean more heavily on the wall behind you as your knees start to shake. Fermín sees this and takes a step toward you. He opens his mouth to say something, but you prevent that with simply a shake of your head. You swallow and put on a confused voice as you respond to your brother, "Sorry...?"
"You heard me. Y/n, what the hell? Why the hell did you lie to me? Why the hell are you in Barbastro? Why the hell are you at a Barcelona game, instead of on the sofa next to me right now?"
"Listen-" you cough, nervousness pounding in your head. Your eyes sprout tears, but you wipe them. Fermín- bless his heart- puts a hand on your shoulder, and gives you the eyes that seem to say, Just say the word, and I'll stand up for you.
You give your boyfriend another quick nod before responding into the phone, lies coming to your brain naturally, on the spot, "Listen, Carlos. I'm sorry for not telling you. My friend in Sigüenza I guess is a fan, and she thought it'd be so fun for us to all go to the game together. So, you know, there wasn't much I could argue with when someone buys you a ticket to a football game. You... You know? I'm sorry for lying. I really am. I just didn't tell you because I knew you'd be upset. You know, about me going to FC Barcelona's game instead of staying home with my family and watching Real Madrid's the night before. I really am sorry, Carlos. I hope you'll... forgive me. But... How did you even know I was at the game... Carlos?" You swallow, waiting for the answer. Fermín takes your hand and give it a gentle squeeze.
"The television showed you. Over and over. The commentators were pretty fascinated to see Y/n Sainz at a Barcelona game. Especially the one in Barbastro."
"Oh, f*ck that!" you snap. "My f*cking disguise didn't even work! Why don't they get their stupid cameras out of my life for once! Ugh!" you say angrily. Fermín gently rubs your shoulder, which is at least some ounce of comfort. "So, what? How did you see it, anyway? Have you just been caught red-handed watching a Barcelona game, too?"
"No. I was flipping channels, and there you were. But there's still something that's not making sense." Your eyebrows scrunch together as your grip on Fermín's hand tightens. Was there a hole in your lies that you missed...? Then Carlos asks, "Where were your friends?"
The lump in your throat grows larger. "What do you mean?"
"You were sitting next to some fat old man with a jersey from twenty years ago and a bunch of snotty kids on the other side-" Carlos has never been one to go out of his way to compliment anything associating with football club Barcelona. "-so where were your friend sitting, then?"
It feels as if all the muscles in your body flex at this one. Your mind goes blank, desperately searching for yet another lie to save yourself from telling your older brother the truth. It's like you've dug yourself in a hole that you're desperately trying to climb out of. It feels like you've nearly reached the top-
but your hand just slipped, plummeting you straight back down to the bottom, where you started.
And you break.
Tears stream down your face, and Fermín immediately tries to grab the phone from you, but you pull it away, swallowing as you blubber into the phone, "I don't know, Carlos... Okay... I don't know..."
There's a second or two of silence on the other end, before Carlos says, now in a more tender, less interrogating voice, "Y/n, all I asked is where your friend are. Is everything okay? Are you alright? Y/n, you're worrying me..."
"Please, Carlos... I'm fine... Just... Please..."
"Can you please just tell me the truth?"
"No..." you sniff, leaning into Fermín more and more. "I can't, because you'll be mad at me... It will ruin our relationship..." You don't know if you're talking about your relationship with Carlos or your relationship with Fermín.
"This is ruining our relationship! You keeping stuff from me! Y/n, you're my little sister! I don't want anything bad to happen to you! Just tell me what's wrong, and I can help!"
"You're the one making it all wrong. If you'd just leave me alone-"
"No. Y/n, you need to be honest with me right now, okay?"
"No, I don't. I don't, and I f*cking won't." At this, you hang up and fall into Fermín's arms.
He holds you there, close to his chest, before whispering, "I'm sorry..."
You look up slowly, sniffing, and wipe your eyes. It doesn't do much, since your tears are still coming. "For what?" you whisper. "You've done nothing wrong... It's just... Everything is messed up. Nothing went how I wanted it to... Fermín, I'm scared."
His eyes are tender, and he strokes your cheek. "My Y/n... I hate to see you cry. There's nothing to be scared of." He puts his arm around your back and starts leading you down the hall. "If Carlos finds out, Carlos finds out. He loves you, and you know that. I know you've spent all your energy hiding this, but mistakes happen, okay? I'll be by your side, but what's done is done." You nod, wiping up your soaked face with your hands, and let him lead you, until you get to the street. He sighs and murmurs, "F*ck. Missed the bus back to the hotel..."
"Oh..." a wave of guilt washes over you. "Fermín, I'm sorry... Isn't your team worried about you?"
"No, no. Don't worry about it. Either they completely missed my absence, or they got the memo that my girlfriend has just arrived and I might have other plans. Let's hope it's the second one, because that would be just a tad bit too silly if they just flat out forgot about me." There's a teasing tone in his voice, in an attempt to lighten the mood. Make you feel better. "You drove here? Where is your car?"
"Oh... yeah, right..." you sigh. After all the rush and emotions, you completely forgot you had your car here. You glance to Fermín, and catch in his expectant eyes a glint of excitement, too. You smile softly, understanding completely what this is from. You roll your eyes. "And no, Fermín. I didn't pull up in a Ferrari. That would draw too much attention." You can't blame him for being excited. You have driven a Ferrari before, (and many other super sick vehicles) and you know Fermín would love to go for a spin in one (or another of the insane sports cars you've driven.)
Fermín thinks they're cool, and as the daughter of Carlos Sainz Sr. and the sister of Carlos Sainz Jr., you tend to be able to get your hands on some pretty luxurious cars, it just so happens. And it's not like your family (especially your brother) won't jump at the drop of a hat to lend you something like that. You're Carlos's baby sister, and he'd do anything to treat you. So when you take advantage of that, every so often Fermín gets to go for a ride.
And you suppose Carlos has no idea of that.
Yet.
And just like that, you feel nauseous again.
When you arrive at Fermín's hotel room, you immediately both put on pajamas and get into bed. All night, he holds you close, never letting go. You lean your head against his chest, basking in the comfort. He knows it's hard. He understands what you're going through.
"Te amo," he whispers, just as you're drifting off to sleep. You never get a chance to say it back, because you're asleep before you can.
"I'm coming back to Barcelona with you."
"Lo siento, ¿qué?" Fermín asks, his head whipping up from tying the drawstrings of his sweatpants as he exits the hotel bathroom. His light pink lips are slightly parted as he stares at you, eyebrows raised.
"You heard me. I'm coming back to Barcelona with you," you repeat, locking eyes with him.
Fermín crosses the room and slips onto the hotel bed next to you, gently placing his hand on your thigh. "Mi corazón..." he mutters. "Of course I would never complain- I would love it if you came back to Barcelona with me. But don't you think that's not the best idea? Don't you have things to deal with back home in Madrid?"
You hesitate and mutter. "Sure I do. But I'd rather come with you back to Barcelona."
He frowns, nodding. "When are you going to go back to Madrid? And what will you tell your brother?"
Suddenly you snap, slipping out of bed, "I don't care, Fermín! And I don't plan to tell my brother anything! I know he'll call, but he can't make me pick up. I'm sick of him pretending like he's in charge of my life!"
"Y/n, come on. We both know he just cares about you. You know how worried sick he'll be if you randomly cut off communications and don't even tell him what happened to you. You can't do that to him. I know if my sibling did that to me, I'd be worried sick, too, and you and Carlos are very close. And he's much older than you. You know how he thinks of you. You can't do that to your brother," he tries, looking for eye contact. But you continue looking down.
"Fermín, no." You speak quietly, but firmly. "I won't. I'm scared, and I don't want to deal with him right now. And I know you said you'd be by my side, but I know you can't be. You can't possibly come to Madrid with me, and then get back to Barcelona."
Fermín sighs, and takes your chin, forcing you to look him in his eyes. "I understand you want to avoid your brother, but you can't have him worrying like that. It's just not right. He's only so concerned and protective because he cares, Y/n."
Your jaw clenches. You try to look away, but he doesn't let you. You swallow, looking at him, and murmur, realizing there's not much you can do, "Alright. Can we compromise?"
Fermín looks a little surprised at your sudden giving in, but nods. "Maybe. What are you thinking?"
You sigh. "I come back to Barcelona with you, but I still text Carlos. But I tell him I won't call, and if he wants to talk to me, he has to come to Barcelona himself and do it."
Fermín's immediate reaction is to protest with, "You expect him to drive from Madrid to Barcelona? You know how long of a trip that is!"
"Well, too bad, Fermín!" you snap. "It's what I'm willing to do! If he cares enough, he'll drive up. And trust me- he does."
Your boyfriend frowns, considering this, and finally nods. "Okay, then... I guess it's fair enough." And that's that.
You sit between Fermín's legs on the couch, watching the television as you munch on buttered popcorn and Fermín plays with/braids your hair. It's been three weeks since when Barcelona faced off with Barbastro, and since then all you've communicated with your brother is that if he wants to discuss anything with you, he's got to come to Barcelona and do it himself.
Do you miss your older brother? Yes. Yes, you one hundred percent do. Are you scared of your brother's attitude and reaction? Yes. Yes, you one hundred percent are.
As Fermín leans close, now stroking your arm with one hand, your phone buzzes in your lap. You give the bowl of popcorn to your boyfriend and pick up your phone.
You stare in shock at what you read on your phone. Fermín leans over and reads the text from Carlos along with you:
Carlos: I just arrived in Barcelona. I'm hoping we can meet somewhere in the morning, if you're not busy? I've been worrying lots
Fermín's hand gently moves to your waist, and after a few seconds, he whispers, "What will you do, my Y/n?"
"I don't know..." you sigh in hesitation.
"Can I make a suggestion?"
You look up at him from behind, meeting his eyes. You can't help but giggle at each other. He sighs, before turning serious again and saying, "Just send him my address and tell him to be around at 9:00 A.M."
"Fermín!" you snap, as though he's a complete lunatic. "You think we can just do it, just like that?!"
"Sure," he nods, cool headed. "I'm not scared of him, just because he drives cars fast and he's got big muscles. I run fast and... have slightly less big muscles than him." He grins, and you can't help but smile, too, at this. Fermín has a way of making serious things light-hearted. "Anyway, if you do it this way, I'll be there with you. Maybe it'd be easier to show him rather than tell. And I'll do the talking that you're still nervous to do. I will." He looks at you with sincere eyes.
You stare ahead, considering this for a while as Fermín slowly and absentmindedly rubs your thigh. Finally you sigh and mutter, "I guess that's the best thing... It's a shame it has come to this."
Fermín laughs softly, shaking his head, but you don't mind it. "You knew that at some point it would come to this. Y/n, you know this will be fine. It will be. I promise. Your brother loves you too much to do any of the stupid things you're scared of happening."
You frown, but then turn around hug him tightly. "Okay... Fermín." You look him in the eyes. "Okay. I know. It's still nerve-racking, though."
"I know, I know," he responds.
You sigh, take out your phone, and, despite yourself, text him.
Fermín gives your upper thigh a little pat.
You look up and study his handsome, lovely face for a few seconds, before kissing him all over. He lets you, chuckling a little. He always seems to laugh when you show him lots of affection, and you love it.
And before long, the two of you are fast asleep there.
When the doorbell rings at 9:01 A.M., your heart drops to your stomach. You knew it would happen. You prepared yourself. But you still can't help but shiver with nervous.
Fermín is trying making breakfast, and you're sitting at the island in the kitchen. He looks up from the food and is about to speak, but you say before he can, in a hurried tone, "I'll get it. You just stay here and keep making breakfast."
He hesitates for a moment, but then nods. "Alright... Call if you need me. And he's welcome to come in, too."
You nod and then head to the door. You exhale slowly, before opening the door.
Immediately, you're wrapped in a huge bear hug from your strong older brother, and he snaps, "What the hell? Why have you been avoiding me like this?! Are you embarrassed? It's fine! I've thought about it, and if you're dating a Barcelona fan that's fine... As long as he's a good guy, it shouldn't matter that much, right?"
You blink in surprise, leaning back, away from him, and meet his eyes, which are very similar to your own in shape and color. He's not stupid. Clearly he's tried to figure it out. But the concept of me dating an actual player for the club is so ridiculous, he just expects it's some random culer dude? Just this concept makes your heart (which was already in your stomach) seem to fall down to your knees. You swallow and awkwardly smile. If you could speak, you would, but no words whatsoever come to mind, and your mouth feels much too dry to form any words.
"So... I'm assuming this is his flat? Is he here? Can I meet him? What's his name?"
You allow yourself to breathe a little, and swallow. "Yes, this is his flat... And he's here... In the kitchen... You- You can meet him..." You open the door wide for him, and have to try a few times, before your voice finally allows you to call, "Fer- Fermín!"
"Fer...mín? That's his name?" your older brother asks. You nod slowly meeting his eyes again. You can't imagine that Carlos would know who Fermín is... right? It's not like a gives really any of his attention to any football club other than Real Madrid... Perhaps just the name sounds familiar? Well, it's not like Fermín has a super uncommon name or anything...
Your head is starting to hurt from all this overthinking. You swallow. "Yeah, yeah... That's his name."
You watch with dread (which you never though you'd feel at the sight of him) as your boyfriend enters the room. He has a smile on his face, but he's eyebrows are knitted together.
For a moment, the two stand there.
It's strange, for you. Here are (probably) the two people you care about most. The two people you spend the most time with, the two's whose opinions you value the most. Here they are, together. Two who you care about so much, but have always been separate. And you've always kept it that way.
It feels off, to have the two in the same room, right here, in front of you.
Their heights don't differ much, but Fermín's younger, gentler features contrast with Carlos. Fermín has lighter, nicer kept hair, while your brother of course has the same shock of dark hair you have, and right now, it's grown out a bit, curling at his ears.
You stare at the two.
You swallow as something like very vague recognition is reflected on Carlos's face. He says slowly, holding his hand out to shake Fermín's, "Hola... Have we met before...?"
You can't help but shake your head a little. Carlos, not recognizing a first team Barcelona player when he's right in front of him.
Or, pretty much first team, anyway.
A (cute) little nervous crooked smile appears on your boyfriend's face. He sends you a brief little glance with only those chocolate brown eyes, before looking back to Carlos. He shakes his hand as he swallows and says, "Well, you know, I... uh, I actually play for FC Barcelona."
Carlos opens his mouth, shuts it, and opens it again. "Okay..." he says slowly. "That... It makes sense, now... that Y/n was at the game in Barbastro..." he seems to be talking more to himself. He glances to you, and his eyes linger, before shifting back to Fermín and saying, "Fermín... Fermín Gómez...?"
That crooked little smile appears on Fermín's face again. "López."
You watch as your older brother nods, and then looks to you slowly. "Y/n, can I...?" he trails off, glancing to Fermín.
Fermín seems to get the hint that you didn't even pick up and nods, saying, "I'll go finish making breakfast. Carlos and Y/n, you're welcome to just stay here in the living room." He gives a cute little awkward smile, and walks out of the room.
Now you don't want him to go.
But your brother gently takes your wrist and tows you to the couch, forcing your eyes to wander from the doorway that Fermín just left through. You look to Carlos and swallow. Those eyes. So incredibly earnest. "You're not... mad?" you murmur softly.
"Mad? I'm disappointed you hid it from me, and didn't trust me. A part of me doesn't feel right about you dating a Barcelona player, but it's not like the club someone is playing for decides how good of a boyfriend he is, or if he's meant to be with my sister or not. I'm shocked- I was expecting it's a Barcelona fan, not a player. But whatever..." He trails off, swallows, and finishes, "No. No, I'm not mad."
"Oh... Oh, okay... I'm... I'm sorry."
He nods, not looking at you. "I forgive you. I'm sorry, too. There had to have been a reason why you didn't trust me. So I'm sorry."
You say, "I forgive you," though you're not even one hundred percent sure what you're forgiving him for.
If you thought introducing just your older brother to Fermín was just terrible, introducing him to your whole family is like actual hell.
Fermín keeps his arms tightly around your shoulders as you sit on your couch. You feel stiff and rigid as Fermín manages the awkward questions and empty small talk. Your family is always so open, but with Carlos insisting everyone meet Fermín here, it's unnatural.
Why don't they accept him? They accept other people's friends, girlfriends, etc., much easier. Fermín is acting so sweet and polite.. like he always does... What don't they like about him?
Unlike Carlos, do they really care that much about stupid football club rivalries? Gosh, there are plenty of fans of different clubs who get on just fine.
How is Fermín being a player any different?
He's a culer, just like any fan, right? I mean, I don't know what I am. Am I a culer?
Who cares? I'm Fermín López's girlfriend and Carlos Sainz Sr.'s daughter. Think that's enough for one person!
Suddenly you're pulled out of your racing mind when Fermín's hand settles on your waist and he says, "...right, Y/n?"
"Uh, huh?" you ask, looking at Fermín just as he pecks your lips with a little laugh. You blush and murmur, "Gosh, Fermín, not here."
But he pulls you tighter to his side and says with a soft, slightly defiant little smirk, "I'm so happy that you all have accepted me as Y/n's boyfriend, Sainz family." The faces of your family members span from confused to uncomfortable to (only a few of them) genuinely accepting. But Fermín adds with a chuckle, kissing your cheek, "Although, of course, your opinions, or anyone's, about our relationship doesn't matter to me." He meets your eyes with those deep brown ones.
You swallow and nod, getting up the courage in that moment to respond with, "Yeah, Fermín... You know, I think I agree with you..."

Hello! I saw you were looking for requests so I figured I'd drop by. How about one with Fermín where his girlfriend is also a professional footballer, and they both mess up/lack confidence after different bad performances so they each comfort each other when they're down?! Hope this makes sense, and I hope you have a great day! 💖
End of the Day - Fermín Lopez
Authors note: I loved writing this! got a bit carried away but oh well 🥹
WC: 1900
warnings: incorrect grammar (probably), my first language isn't english so if you notice any mistakes please tell me, fluff.
Earlier in the day, you both had gone through your usual pre-game rituals. You had exchanged messages of encouragement, little notes reminding each other to play your hearts out. Fermin had sent you a photo of the two of you from a past victory, both of you beaming with joy, trophies in hand. It was a reminder of what you were capable of, a small beacon of hope to carry into the match.
The game itself had been a blur of frustration and missed opportunities. You had felt the sting of each mistake, the weight of each goal conceded. There were moments when it seemed like everything was slipping through your fingers, the roar of the crowd only adding to the pressure. Fermin had his own struggles on the pitch, each missed pass and blocked shot a reminder of his own recent slump.
The locker room after the game had been a somber place. Teammates exchanged quiet words of support, coaches offered measured critiques, but the atmosphere was heavy. The first loss of the season was because of you.
he journey home was a quiet one. You sat in the back of the taxi, staring out the window as the city lights blurred past. Your mind replayed the game over and over, analyzing every moment, every decision. A fan had approached you as you left the stadium, offering a few words of encouragement. It was a small comfort, but it reminded you that there were people who believed in you, who saw your potential even when you struggled to see it yourself.
You walk through the front door of your shared apartment, the weight of another tough game hanging heavy on your shoulders. The familiar scent of home greets you, but it does little to lift your spirits. You can hear Fermin in the kitchen, probably preparing something simple for dinner. He hasn’t performed well lately either, and you both know it. The recent string of poor games has taken its toll on both of you, each loss and mistake chipping away at your confidence.
“Hey,” you call out softly as you drop your bag by the door.
Fermin turns to you, his face lighting up with a tired but genuine smile. “Hey, love. Tough game?”
You nod, crossing the room to where he stands. He wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a tight hug. “Yeah, it wasn’t great. You?”
“Same here,” he admits, resting his chin on top of your head.
After a while, he pulls back, his eyes meeting yours with a mixture of concern and affection.
“How about we take a shower and wash off this day?” he suggests.
You nod, feeling a bit of the tension melt away at the thought. Together, you make your way to the bathroom, peeling off your training gear and leaving a trail of clothes behind. The bathroom is warm and inviting, the steam from the shower already filling the space. Fermin turns on the water, adjusting it to just the right temperature before stepping in and holding out his hand to you.
You take his hand and step under the spray, sighing as the hot water cascades over you, washing away the sweat and grime of the day. He reaches for the shampoo, squeezing a generous amount into his palm before working it into your hair. His fingers move with practiced ease, massaging your scalp in gentle, circular motions. You close your eyes, leaning into his touch, the tension in your shoulders gradually melting away.
He doesn’t speak, and neither do you. The silence is comfortable, a shared understanding that words aren’t necessary right now. You lean back slightly, letting him rinse the shampoo from your hair, his touch gentle and reassuring. As the water runs clear, you turn to face him, your eyes meeting his in a moment of quiet connection.
You take the conditioner and apply it to your hair, your fingers working through the strands as you focus on the sensation. Fermin reaches for the body wash, lathering it between his hands before gently scrubbing your back. His touch is methodical, almost meditative, and you find yourself relaxing into the routine, the familiarity of his hands on your skin grounding you.
As he continues to wash you, you think back to the game. You can still feel the sting of every missed pass, every blocked shot. The frustration bubbles up, but you push it down, focusing instead on the feeling of Fermin’s touch, the warmth of the water, the simple act of being together.
He finishes washing your back and moves to your arms, his hands sliding over your skin with care. You do the same for him, taking the body wash and gently lathering it over his chest, his shoulders, his arms. Your movements are slow, deliberate, each touch a reassurance that you’re in this together, that you understand each other’s struggles.
When the water finally turns off, you both step out, toweling off in comfortable silence. The steam dissipates, leaving the bathroom warm and inviting. You change into comfortable clothes— he's wearing a jersey with your name on the back and you're wearing his - that always makes you smile.
Fermin sits on the edge of the bed, his posture slumped, shoulders heavy with the weight of the day. You can see the tension in his jaw, the way his hands clench and unclench, and you know he’s berating himself, replaying every mistake, every missed opportunity.
You approach quietly, sitting beside him and placing a gentle hand on his back. "Hey," you say softly, your voice a soothing balm in the quiet room. "Talk to me."
He doesn't look at you, his gaze fixed on some distant point on the floor. "I was terrible out there," he mutters, frustration evident in his tone. "I let the team down. I let the fans down."
You scoot closer, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "Fermin, you’re too hard on yourself. Everyone has off days. It doesn’t define you or your career."
He finally turns to meet your eyes, his expression a mixture of self-doubt and vulnerability. "But it feels like it's been happening too often. I just... I don’t know what’s wrong with me."
You take his hand in yours, squeezing gently. "We all go through slumps. It’s part of being an athlete. The important thing is how you come back from it. You’re one of the best players I know, and you’re going to find your rhythm again."
He sighs, his grip on your hand tightening. "What if I don’t? What if this is it?"
You shake your head, determination in your voice. "This isn’t it, Fermin. You’re too talented and too driven to let this stop you. Remember why you started playing in the first place? The love for the game, the thrill of every match? That’s still inside you. We just need to find it again."
A small, hesitant smile tugs at his lips. "You always know what to say."
You lean in, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. "That’s because I believe in you. And I know you’ll get through this. We both will."
He shifts, pulling you into his arms, holding you tightly. "Thank you," he whispers, his voice thick with emotion. "I don’t know what I’d do without you."
"You don’t have to," you reply, your own voice soft but steady.
You both lie down, the soft glow of the bedside lamp casting a warm light over the room. Fermin pulls you close, his arms a protective cocoon around you. You rest your head on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, a comforting reminder of his presence.
"Do you remember why you fell in love with football?" you ask, breaking the comfortable silence.
Fermin's eyes light up with a nostalgic glow. "Yeah, I was about five. My dad took me to my first match. The roar of the crowd, the energy in the stadium... It was electrifying. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be out there, on the field, making those same crowds cheer."
You smile, imagining a young Fermin, wide-eyed and filled with wonder. "I had a similar experience. My older brother was playing in a local league, and I used to watch his games every weekend. One day, his coach let me join in on a practice. I was hooked. I loved the challenge, the teamwork, the pure joy of the game."
He nods, his expression thoughtful. "Football has given us so much. But sometimes, it feels like it takes so much too. The pressure, the expectations... It's hard."
"It is," you agree. "But it's also what drives us, right? The desire to be better, to achieve more. It's a double-edged sword."
He takes your hand in his, his thumb gently tracing circles on your skin. "I sometimes worry that I'm not good enough," he admits quietly. "That I'll never reach the level I want to be at."
"You are good enough," you say firmly, squeezing his hand. "We both are. We just have to remember why we started playing in the first place. The love for the game, the passion. It's easy to forget that when we're caught up in all the noise."
He looks at you, gratitude and love evident in his eyes. "You always know what to say," he murmurs. "You keep me grounded."
"And you keep me hopeful," you reply, your voice soft but sincere. "Together, we'll get through this. We'll keep pushing each other, supporting each other."
Fermin's gaze grows distant for a moment, as if he's looking into the future. "I dream of us both winning our leagues," he says, a smile tugging at his lips. "Lifting those trophies, side by side. And then maybe, one day, coaching our own little team together."
You laugh softly at the thought. "That sounds perfect. And maybe, if we're lucky, we'll inspire the next generation of footballers, just like our heroes inspired us."
He pulls you closer, his forehead resting against yours. "No matter what happens, we'll always have each other. That's what matters most."
You nod, feeling the truth of his words settle deep within you. "Always."
In the quiet of the night, you talk about your plans for the future. You discuss training schedules, strategies to improve your game, and ways to balance the demands of your careers with your relationship. Each word is a promise, a commitment to face whatever challenges come your way, together.
As the conversation winds down, you find yourself drifting towards sleep, comforted by the steady rhythm of Fermin's breathing and the warmth of his embrace. Just before you slip into dreams, you hear his voice, soft and filled with love.
"We'll be okay," he whispers. "We'll make it through. I believe in us."
"I believe in us too," you murmur back, your heart swelling with love and determination.
And with that, you drift off, wrapped in each other's warmth, ready to face whatever comes next.

Secret relationship- Fermín Lopez
Hello everyone! I decided to start writing about Fermin since he’s really hot 🥵 Hope you enjoy!
Mostly fluff in this story, some kissing and a lot of teasing, mentions of accident and blood, but nothing too bad
"Fermin, what are you doing? Someone could see us" you whined as he dragged you behind a wall. "Just needed to kiss you before the game" he said, pecking your lips. "Okay you got your kiss, come on" you said, trying to push him away. "Noo..." he whined, lips moulding with yours in a passionate kiss. "Y/N, where are you? We have to take our places". "Fuck" you moaned, pushing Fermin away. "I'm coming" you replied. "I can't be mad at you because it's your first game in which you start. So good luck" you said, leaving to go with your co-worker.
Nobody knew about your relationship with the Barça player. Your colleagues in the media department always asked who was bringing you coffee almost every morning. And the Barça players always asked Fermin why did he have rosy cheeks or smiling a bit too much after a hard training.
"Camera ready?" Alex, your co-worker asked. "Yep. You?". "Sì. Let the game begin". It was the first time you got to revoked the game from the pitch, field cam as it was named. Obviously it was kind of dangerous, but you like to see the action from up close. That was until a player from Betis tackled the ball and slid into you. And to make it even worse, the ball hit Alex in the head. "Fucking hell" he moaned in pain. "You're bleeding. Hey! You gotta stop the game!" He shouted to the referee, but the game was resumed. "It's fine" you said, although your leg looked really bad. "Hey! Stop the game!" Alex kept shouting until the Betis goalkeeper noticed you two.
"Huh? Why did he stop?!" Gavi asked fuming. "Probably a fan fainted" Pedri shrugged. "Fuck no" Fermin groaned, making a run to where you where surrounded by the medical team. "Hey... what happened?" He asked, a hand on your shoulder. "Just an accident really" you said. "This job's dangerous eh?" The player who tackled you joked. "Apologise to her right now" Fermin said. "It's not a big deal. I get those all the time" he shrugged. "Yeah? What about I rip your leg in this game then?" Fermin turned defensive. "Fermin" you said. He turned to look at you, eyes flaming red. "Okay sorry... bitch" he mumbled the last part, but Fermin heard him and pushed him on the ground. "Fermin! Stop it" you said, but the Spaniard didn't listen to you. Both of the players got a yellow card for it and the medics helped you walk to the changing rooms.
"You're stupid" you told Fermin. "I agree" Gavi said. "Even I wouldn't do that—". "You would do it for your girlfriend" Fermin argued. "Girlfriend? Whose girlfriend is what???" The whole squad turned to look at you. "I... uh... we... you see..." you mumbled. "Y/N, my lovely girlfriend" Fermin said, smiling. "What no! We're not—".
"OOOOH!!!"
"Now I see everything!"
"Yeah me too"
"Why was he smiling after that hard training"
"And he's rosy cheeks too. He was meeting with Y/N"
You were completely confused. "It's okay. I'll Talk with your boss, explain the situation" Fermin's voice was calming you. "I thought... you're..." you still couldn't form a coherent sentence. "Fermin is in love" Ferran sang. "Yeah... I kinda am. With her by my side how can I not be?" He said making you blush. "It will be alright. I promise" Fermin said, pulling you aside. "I'm not sure" you said. "And if they kick you out, we have more time to spend together" he shrugged. You gave him a look. "Okay... I know this is important for you. I promise you won't lose your job because of me" he said. You caught Gavi's smirk and decided to give them something more to tease Fermin with.
"Ouch my leg" you moaned. "Are you alright? Sit here on the bench, love" Fermin panicked, putting your arm around his neck for support. "Aww look at them" Lewi said. "Shut up okay?" Fermin said irritated. "Can we go home?" You pouted. "Of course. Just let me take my things" he said, pecking your lips.
"Really you don't have anything to worry about. It's not like it's forbidden to date one the players" Pedri said. "Not really I think. I just don't want people to go crazy over it" you said. "I promise we will only tease him, not you" Gavi said. "Okay I'm ready. Let's go" Fermin said, helping you up again. "Speedy recovery, Y/N" the squad said. "Thanks guys".
"I so love you, Fermin" you said when you were in his car, far from all the teasing. "I knew it. I love you too" he said, smiling into the kiss he gave you.
Hope you like it 🥰
Feedback is appreciated ☺️
