Physical Love Letter
Shuri x Black Fem Reader
Warning: Sexual Content
Translation: okuswiti kwam, my sweet
Tell me how it never felt like this
“Shuri.” You breathed, drinking in the woman whose fingers worked blissful wonders between your thighs. She trailed gentle kisses down the crevice of your neck, each sending small tingles through your stomach. It was indescribable, the pleasurable sensation that flooded through you at her actions, with every motion of those swift fingers of hers. You had never felt so much passion, so much intention behind someone’s actions. She enjoyed making you feel weightless, coaxing that euphoric feeling within you that only she could make you feel.
She peered up at you, basking in the way the morning sun highlighted your indulgence of her actions. She adored you like this, although she would never let herself succumb to that fact, she did. The way you responded to her, the sinful sounds that escaped from your lips and that glistening cunt of yours, it all fueled her passion to carry on with you.
She wanted to fully claim you, make you feel so good that the fact would be engraved within your mind for centuries and as unforgettable as she truly was, it probably would be. She handled you as delicate as a flower, yet, somehow beneath lay so much dominance and chastisement within every caress, every kiss, every pump of her fingers. It would be impossible for this to leave your memory, she was giving you something you had craved for what felt like a lifetime.
“Just like that, hm?” She said, curling her fingers slightly as she moved them more slowly, hitting a spot that sent waves of intense pleasure through you. “Yes.” You dragged, a string of curses exiting your lips as she worked. You could feel her moving downward, her free hand separating your thighs even further, spreading you fully. She went lower, intense eyes never leaving you until she was met with your dipping entrance in front of her view.
She could stare at it all day, glistening with that sweetness if yours, pulsing with the absence of her slim fingers. “I’ve thought about doing this all day, my love.” She said, right before licking a stripe up your entrance. You gasped, chasing behind your own breath, your hands grasping at the silky bedding underneath you.
“So good.” You praised, intertwining your fingers in her black coils, tugging on them softly while you coed her name. “That’s it, baby. Let me know how I’m making you feel.” She said, placing your legs over her shoulders, cinnamon colored thighs resting right on her back as she devoured you endlessly, drowning herself in you fully. “You’re making me feel s-so.” You trailed, feeling the tightening of your stomach. It left you speechless, your words being taken by the building of pure bliss within you.
She could sense your closeness, you were gliding right along the edge of ecstasy and soon she would provide you that feeling in full. “Can you cum for me, okuswiti kwam?” She mumbled, enjoying the feeling of your pulsing around her tongue. Soon, she felt the trail of your juices down her mouth, a dragged moan coming from your lips as you came. She took every inch of your honey substance, savoring your taste as the creamy liquid trailed down her throat.
The silence that filled the room was comfortable, filled with a serenity that was unexplained to you both. You laid under her and under the blanket of the sun, staring into the infinities of her eyes. You said nothing and yet she could hear a million words.
She couldn’t get enough and you, you were the same. You loved her and she surely loved you.
A/N: Y’all I haven’t posted in what felt like a good minute so here is one that I’ve been working on for so long due to procrastination. 😭 I hope y’all like it as much as I did when writing it, I try to add a little bit of “umph” within my stories now. Also I might have some more coming out today, one about Riri and another one about Shuri. 💗🫶🏾 Love y’all.

a/n: it took me two hours and multiple repeats of ‘lift me up’ to write this 🥹
༺♡༻
Another terrible pain struck through your chest, much worse than the one hours prior. Holding your chest and slowly moving towards the side of the bed to sit down, you breathe slowly to ease the discomfort.
After giving yourself time to relax your chest, you grabbed your phone to search what was actually going on with you. You knew that the search engine would highly say death or another illness to be the cause of your pain but your body feels the same after each pain.
A knock on your door interrupted your train of thought and you tapped your kimoyo beads, far too much in pain to stand and opened the door yourself. Riri stepped in with a concerned look on her face, treading lightly towards you.
"Hey girl. Nakia's been looking for you, it's almost time for the meeting." She softly smiled. Riri had met you on the tour she took of the palace with Nakia when she first arrived. She thought you and Shuri were even married but you explained how you were just close friends and looked out for her after her brother made you promise.
"Are the tribe leaders here already?" You asked and Riri nodded, you also nodded and stood up slowly. Your vision turned white for a quick moment before going back to normal, blinking your eyes as if something went into them. Riri would see you double over in pain almost everywhere in the palace but not knowing how to approach the situation, especially when the war with Namor is close.
You lifted your head to weakly smile at her and fixed your stance to pretend as if nothing was wrong with you. "Let's go. We don't want to keep anyone waiting, especially if it's about us." You said, reaching your door and opening it, allowing Riri to walk out first.
༺♡༻
The ringing in your ear had become louder as you tried to listen to what the Queen was saying and what the tribal leaders were suggesting. The River Tribe leader, Zawe, had kept her eyes on you since you had stepped foot in the throne room. She noticed your body swaying and you constantly trying to keep yourself still. Shuri had her eye on you too, seeing you clench your fist repeatedly but thought nothing of it, just you being anxious.
As the Mining Tribe leader finished their statement, the unknown pain struck you again, going from your chest to your head. Your vision going completely white and the room went silent. It was as if your soul completely left your body and you were floating in space with purple and blue hues. On the outside, you let out an ear piercing scream, dropping down to the floor and immediately alarming everyone in the throne room.
Your eyes had turned white and the veins on your body showed and they were a bright purple, almost giving out light. You were shaking and your skin was getting a little pale. Shuri, as horrified as she was, immediately ran to you and helped Riri pick you up and give you to the Dora Milaje, waiting for their command from Queen Ramonda.
Before the queen could say anything, Zawe spoke up. "We need to get her the heart shaped herb. The myth of Bast is coming true." The last few words had brought chills to the other leaders in attendance, including M'baku himself.
The myth of Bast was, like its namesake, a myth that had been around for centuries but was never told to the younger generations by the order of King T'Chaka before his reign, to not have the youth believe in it. Your mother had briefly told you about it and how Wakandans had hope for Bast's return to the great nation.
The myth implied that the spirit of Bast would enter one's body and reveal themselves to be the Panther Goddess, one of the most powerful beings in the universe. The person would experience pain that scientists wouldn't dare research during transformation and gain powers that could make them rule the world if wanted. However, he who told this myth centuries ago had disappeared shortly after.
Until now, not a single soul in Wakanda has spoken about it nor heard anything about it. Until now.
“How? We have no herbs left!” Someone exclaimed from behind Shuri. As if gears had begun spinning in her head, she remembered your private garden that held the desired herb for whenever Shuri could possibly need it. She had given you prototypes to plant as a way to test on whether they’re effective or not.
“Someone needs to go to her room.” Shuri muttered to herself, gaining the attention of Riri who was watching you be placed on the floating gurney, twitching and crying out and it truly pained the pair to see you like that.
“Her room? The hell would she need there?” Riri questioned, a confused expression held on her features. “She’s got a few prototypes of the heart shaped herb planted in her private garden. I’m going to need you to get it and immediately bring it to the lab-”
Shuri was cut off by you screaming once again then moving your mouth with no sound coming out. “Take me to the garden of the herb. Now.” You demanded in a strained voice. Shuri wasn’t usually someone who could easily be scared however she knew that the voice you spoke in wasn’t yours but a completely different one. It seemed to have scared everyone around you.
Riri looked at you stunned and trudged her way to your room quickly, not wanting to witness anything else. Shuri looked back at her mom who nodded and walked to stand next to you. “Let’s go. I can’t bare to see her in pain.” Queen Ramonda instructed. Okoye, Ayo and Nakia were walking next to your gurney as they made their way out the palace. The remaining royals were escorted to the Royal Talon and Riri would be accompanied by Aneka, who was waiting for her by your bedroom door.
༺♡༻
The cave of the garden held an eerie atmosphere as you entered and everyone who escorted you felt a specific feeling that they couldn’t quite pinpoint but fear was laced into it.
You had calmed down however your glowing veins were still visible and seemed to glow brighter the deeper you were in the cave. You stopped before the stone gazebo which also had the sand pit. Okoye, Nakia and Ayo placed your body on the sand, looking at Riri as she rushed to kneel next to your body. Shuri and Queen Ramonda followed Riri and placed themselves next to you.
Ramonda held the liquid above you, chanting to Bast to communicate with you in the ancestral plane and to remove your pain. As you drank the liquid, the deeper your soul traveled to meet the Panther Goddess. All the ladies beside you quickly buried you in the sand, silently hoping that you come back well.
the ancestral plane
You opened your eyes gently to see pink and blue versions of the northern lights and multiple stars literring the sky. You slowly sat up, looking around noticing the trees where panthers rested. You noticed you was in one of the private gardens of the Great Mound, where Shuri’s main lab was, your place of comfort.
One panther in particular, climbed down the tree and stood in front of you. The realisation of you actually being in the ancestral plane hit hard as you started to breathe faster. The panther transformed in front of you, revealing itself to be T’Challa, smiling at you ever so softly.
Tears pricked at your eyes as you looked at him. He had on the royal colours, purple and gold, in a suit with tribal designs. He looked happier than when you had last been in his presence, no longer suffering from the unknown illness. Before he could even speak, you walked up to him and tightly hugged him. It had been way too long since you had last hugged him.
He had said your name and you looked up at him, detaching from the hug. “I want to thank you. You have lifted Shuri up, keeping your end of the bargain.” He grimaced, making the tears on your face fall gracefully.
“Did you keep yours?” You asked, smiling and sniffling. He looked to the side and smiled. “I do look better, don’t I?” T’Challa joked, make you slightly chuckle.
“T’Challa. Why am I here? If anyone should be seeing you, it’s your sister. She needs to be in your presence.” You muttered. “I’m always with her, she just doesn’t want to believe it. You are doing an excellent job at caring for her just as I would. I’m incredibly proud of you.” Hearing those words come from him caused your tears to fall at a fast pace.
“You see now? I barely cry in front of others.” You smiled as you wiped your tears with your wrist. T’Challa smacked his lips and chuckled. “Crying is for the strongest of people. Always remember that.”
He hugged you again, you smelling his signature scent of mango and coconut with a hint of his everyday cologne. “Now, onto your journey here. It was not me who had requested your presence in the ancestral plane, as good it is to see my family here. She will be here soon.” He stated.
“She? Who is she?” You questioned, looking behind him after his sentence.
“You’ll see, she likes to have special entrances whenever she comes around. I do have to go now. Please tell my family that I love them with everything in me.” He requested and you nodded, going for one last hug, this one lasting a little longer.
“Two things before she arrives. Tell Nakia I love seeing her happy and also tell Shuri everything you want her to hear. She’ll listen. Goodbye, y/n.” Before you could even respond to his requests, he transformed back into his panther state and returned to the tree he came from.
Rumbling came from behind you and your instincts told you to look behind you, revealing a much larger panther than the rest with fur that had streaks of purple adorning it. The eyes of the panther were trained on yours, slowly but surely giving you the creeps.
Just as T’Challa, this panther transformed to a woman. A beautiful woman who fit the description of a goddess. The atmosphere around her had shifted to that of regalia. Her skin was a beautiful shade of dark brown with a body that one would kill for. Her facial features were quite young looking as she displayed her dimples and pearly whites. As she walked closer to you, her dark purple eyes remained the same shade as her pantheress form. Her outfit had thrown you off completely, it resembling a Mugler bodysuit that you had recently bought from Paris. Her hair was in a large afro with a purple halo around her head. Her height was that of Shuri’s, both women taller than you.
It clicked to you that you were in the presence of an actual goddess.
The woman stood in front of you was Bast herself.
“Holy shit.” Your mouth had spoken before you could register a sentence in your brain. You had no idea what to do. This was a deity you and your entire country had loved and worshipped for centuries. This was who you placed your manifestations and dreams to. This was who you put your entire trust in. Your whole heart. This beautiful woman who stood before you was arguably the most powerful being in the universe.
“Dearest y/n. It is an absolute pleasure to meet you. I’ve admired your walk of life and how you have carried yourself. You are truly a gem to Wakanda.” She began slowly and her comments sent heat through your entire body.
“Bast..” you whispered. She gently smiled at you. “Ewe, sthandwa.” She replied.
“I know you have your many questions and I’m here to answer however you do have to get back. They’re all waiting for you.” She added.
“Why me? Do I have any significance here?” You asked. “Ah yes! You, my dearest angel, are a true descendant of me. When you were born, you were considered special. You had an aura around you that couldn’t be pinpointed. I chose you for a reason.” The goddess expressed.
“Descendant?” You said stunned, essentially brushing of everything else she said.
“Yes!” She cheered. “Just as my dear Wakandans have theorised, there’s a descendant of mine walking amongst them. Y/n, you have inherited my powers to help others and to protect Wakanda alongside the Black Panther.” She explained.
Before you could even ask about the powers, she continued. “I do apologise for the painful process of gaining your powers but it was the only way. For now, it is your duty to protect Wakanda alongside Shuri. I will guide you through it all through your dreams.”
“Does that mean that..I’m a goddess?” You hesitated and Bast nodded. “In the ancestral plane and the eternal realm, you will be known as Bahati, to give you individuality amongst the others. You are now the most powerful being in the universe alongside the most powerful person in the world.”
As you’re processing everything, certain words had caught you off guard. “Your… majesty, you had mentioned the Black Panther. We don’t have that in the real world.” You mentioned making her smile.
“Oh, just you wait, y/n. The Queen has made lovely progress already as we can already see the future.” She added with a smile, making you more confused than you already are.
“Wait-”
“And do tell the girl your true feelings, we need entertainment around here.” She winked at you and you felt yourself being pulled backwards.
You gasped loudly, drawing the attention of everyone in the cave who was watching you float in mid air. You closed your eyes and saw Bast again.
“Show them who you are.”
You opened them again and you were gently let down on the floor. Looking at everyone around you with shocked faces. The first one to break their facade was Shuri, immediately lunging forward to hug you as if you left forever.
“How long was I gone for?” You whispered in a hoarse voice due to the excessive screaming from before.
“20 minutes, plus minus. You scared me, y/n. I was starting to think that you weren’t coming back. I wouldn’t have anyone to call my best friend-”
“Shuri, I saw him.” You looked at her softly, causing her to pause and look into your eyes.
“Y/n.” Queen Ramonda started.
“He loves you all very much, with everything in him. Shuri, he’s incredibly proud of you.” You smiled, watching Shuri release small tears along with Ramonda and Nakia who appeared in front of you.
“Are you okay though? Seeing you floating and shit was scary.” Riri asked, making you to turn to her and she gasped loudly. “What?” You looked at her confused as she gazed into your eyes as if she was studying them.
“Your eyes…they’re purple.” Nakia pointed out. You couldn’t react, knowing you couldn’t see yourself. Shuri realised your new eye colour and gasped when it went back to your normal eye colour.
“Is it bad timing to ask Griot anything?” Shuri asked and you shook your head, non-verbally giving your permission.
“Griot. please check Y/n’s vitals and database.” She called out to the AI on her kimoyo bracelet, a large screen projecting itself with your hologram on it.
“Of course, Princess. Y/n l/n is a 19 year old black Wakanda female originating from the River Tribe. Her most recent database update includes an influx of supernatural abilities in her blood, it reading that it is the powers of the Panther Goddess, Bast herself. As of 20 minutes, Y/n’s database now includes Goddess status. In the eternal realm of all powerful beings, she is known as Bahati, Bast’s descendant.” Griot finishes, causing the cave to go silent.
Everyone looked at you with faces of shock and confusion.
“Holy shit.” Shuri quietly cussed, her mom gently hitting her arm.
“Shuri!” Ramonda whisper-yelled.

Christmas break was just peeking around the corner. As always, you were ecstatic around the holidays, but there was always a downside to students’ happiness, and that was final exams.
Luckily you had a study buddy to revise all of the exam outlines with and her name was Riri Williams. Besides being study buddies with Riri, you two were close friends and would often hang out whenever you had the free time to do so.
To be honest, studying calculus was never interesting or fun. In your opinion, calculus was just an unnecessary factor of a class continually weighing you down, nevertheless, you still strived for academic validation from others, including your family.
Since it was crucially essential to her career path in engineering, she resulted in being the top student so she offered study lessons for calculus, personally for you. Of course, they were free of charge to you, it was certainly, one of the benefits of being her close friend, but anyone else would have needed to pay upfront, with no excuses, and no refunds.
Without a second thought, you accepted the kind offer, and three days a week, you found yourself cozied up in her dorm room, faint music breaking up the calm aura as you two munched on brain food and quizzed each other.
Aside from the free lessons, you explored new boundaries with your friendship with the Williams girl. By now, you were accustomed to her flirty banter towards you and frequently snided back with coquettish remarks of your own.
A playlist of Pentatonix played softly from the speaker on her desk while numerous textbooks, binders, and highlighters were sprawled out on her king-sized bed.
You were reading over the basics of calculus to get a refresher on the concept, regardless, the technique was deemed useless.
The printed words and numbers started to become hazy and jumbled up, an headache was about to form if you went any further. So you closed the book which made the forming headache vanish.
You couldn’t help but release an exaggerated sigh, breaking the semi-quiet atmosphere, and looked over at the girl before you, who seemingly ignored you as her eyes scanned the words in her textbook.
The Williams girl liberated a deficient hum and a partially raised eyebrow but continued with her studying, enlightening that you had her exact unwavering attention.
If you weren’t so annoyed at Riri, you would have taken the time to see how gorgeous she looks while working in the zone.
It was cute to see Riri completely absorbed in that brilliant mind of hers, blocking out all of her surroundings and just focusing on herself at the moment.
So you decided to try it again; this time more emphatically heard. Slightly puffing out your chest and the longest exaggerated sigh released from your mouth.
Then she stares up, her concentration from the textbook completely diverted onto you, looking completely unimpressed by your antics. “Yes, [name].”
A small pout settled on your lips. “I’m tired of this, Riri.” You annoyingly whined as the said girl returns with a blank face, glaring slightly at your pettiness.
She wouldn’t have cared less if it was from anyone else, but it was you, her girl. And she wanted her girl to achieve the A that she surely deserves.
“Come on, ma.” She shuffled closer to you, her hand rubbing your thigh gently. “Fifteen more minutes of this and we’ll go to Chipotle, my treat, promise.”
She knew that you wouldn’t be able to resist food, especially if you weren’t paying for it. However, her plan with bribery of food deflated when you playfully rolled your eyes at her suggestion.
“I can’t help it…” you sighed, flinging the highlighter onto the open textbook and letting your back hit the soft pillows. “I’m bored and it’s causing me a headache.”
“Kay how about this,” she proposed, closing her calculus textbook as she pondered on her idea and composed herself upright by sitting on her knees, “I give you a kiss for every correct answer you give me.”
At first, you remained silent, until a yelp escapes your lips when two strong hands dragged you by your thighs pulling you closer to her
Hesitantly, you peeled your eyes open to stare at Riri, who was devilishly grinning at your embarrassment.
Gazing down at you, solely impressed by this new position; with her between your legs. “Do I need to repeat myself, sweetheart?”
Now that caused you to perk your head up slightly. The nickname unusually stirred up butterflies in your stomach, whether it was the tone of her voice or her nickname choice, you couldn’t tell the difference.
“What’s the motive?” You inquired, sitting up slightly. Finally, something that was a tad more interesting than rates of change.
“Does it really matter, [name]?” She deadpanned before panic took over her features. “Oh shit, are you already seeing somebody..cause this–“
“No, it’s not that.” You chuckle lighting, reassuring your frantic friend as you halted her movements with your hand on top of hers. The Williams girl paused at your hand placement, her eyes glancing shortly at the contact and looking up back at you.
It was rarely often that you witnessed your dear friend Riri so flustered in a matter of seconds. Maybe, you should make this a regular thing, just for the thrill of it.
“Well, what do you mean?” She inches closer, now you were the one to get flustered. The proximity lacked no room for space as her breath fanned over your shortened breath.
Up close, you’ve never realized how beautiful was really was. She knew what she was doing, her cocky smirk gave herself away in no time, and you couldn’t just see yourself escaping her enticing trap.
“Like, y’know if this will affect our friendship?” You shrugged your shoulders, avoiding eye contact to conceal the embarrassment flooding your cheeks as you bit your lower lip in anticipation.
It was always nice to be aware before jumping headfirst.
“Oh…” she trailed off, her brain only allowing her to process and function one word. For someone so smart, she didn’t think this all the way through.
Such a big shocker, right?
Taking into consideration what she might be compromising her options to move forward, she didn’t have anything to lose. She acknowledged her feelings for you a few weeks earlier, rather preferring to remain silent on the option of confessing.
Moving from your current position, you sit upright, facing her.
Immediately her confused expressions decipher into a smug one, “Well, it doesn’t have to…if you don’t want it to.” She leaned closer, silently rejoicing when you didn’t retaliate.
“Good thing I don’t want it to then.” You whispered out, your eyes connected with her eyes before adjusting onto her lips. Suddenly she licked her lips slowly, once she made sure that your attention was fully on her.
Oh, two can play at that game.
“What are the 4 main concepts of calculus?”
Just to tease her, you jutted out your bottom lip as you began to answer, “Limits. Differential calculus. Integral calculus and multivariable calculus.” Too bad that Riri’s focus wasn’t on your little teasing but on the answers, the correct answers.
Due to her prolonged silence, she resolutely decided that one question would suffice and discarded the heavy yellow textbook from her hands.
Riri was a bit hesitant at first to kiss you. It was rather stupid anyway, she was the one with the so-called brilliant plan so why couldn’t she execute it?
She had dealt with one-night stands before, so kissing wasn’t exactly that foreign to her, she just felt suddenly shy when you were the other recipient.
Being completely vulnerable to you was a new thing to Riri, likely being considered as stubborn, demanding, and too cocky for her own good amongst her classmates, but it felt surprisingly comfortable to step out of her comfort zone.
Being a coward was not known in Riri’s vocabulary and it wasn’t going to be an exception this time.
With a shaky exhale, her hand softly caresses your face as she shuffled closer and slowly her lips connected with yours. Feeling giddy when you tenderly reciprocated the kiss back, she became bolder as she deepened it.
Riri smiled into it, needing more but lacking her resistance to keep her control to a minimum. Although she is sure as hell, she can definitely finish what she started.
But she wanted this memory to be unforgettable, for both of you.
The connection of your lips was a glorious combination of soft, sweet, and sensational, and by the eagerness of Riri’s hand placement, it seemed that she was already compelled into the kiss way before you.
Perhaps it was the way how Riri gripped at your hips before seductively pulling you onto her lap that made your mind blank and all numbness form below your waist.
“You don’t know how crazy you drive me, ma.” She breathlessly confessed once your lips disconnected.
Seems as if she was holding that down for a while.
“Yeah,” you challenged, dragging her lips away from yours, holding her dilated eyes with your hooded ones, “and exactly how crazy do I drive, riri?”
By receiving silence, your two fingers pick her up by the chin, forcing her to look directly at you. In a sense, you can see her eyes are frantic to glance back, which sparked up your self-confidence.
Taking her by surprise, you rocked your hips onto hers with a rhythmic pace, starting off slow and easy. Soon enough your hips sped up by the encouragement of Riri’s whimpers and a tiny mixture of your own.
“Crazy enough for you to take a bullet for me?” Your movements sped up causing your girl to loll her head backward, not replying to your question.
You hated being left in the dark, it just irked your soul to the core.
Grabbing gently the nape of her neck, you pulled her to look at you, “Look at me when I’m talking to you, ri.”
“Ma…” she lowly warns. “Don’t start something that you know damn well you can’t finish.” Her warning tone ends with a growl, trying to muster up her moan.
Generally speaking, Riri was used to being the mean dom, and nobody was meant to take that role away from her.
Perhaps today that might just change.
You feigned innocence, moving your hips painfully slow. “I don’t know Riri, you seem to be enjoying this a little too much.” Lightly pushing her against the bed and removing your shirt to reveal your blue bra.
In an instant, her lips ferociously were on yours, but your rough thrusts against her pelvis didn’t halt, even once.
“Tell me Riri…” her hands fondle your breasts as you unhooked her bra. “Do you want me to stop?”
You’ve rendered Riri speechless for this first time and the sight was particularly captivating. Her low guttural moans and short pants with her grip keeping you directly in place was enough to spur you on, enough to resume your teasing on her lap.
Nodding her head in disagreement as you released a low chuckle in the room. “Imma need a verbal answer, baby.”
Unfortunately for you, that’s the best she could’ve done, her pride was just too far out for you to even reach.
Unmistakably, she thought that her good friend [name] was a brat bottom but apparently she was mean!switch, now receiving the other end.
“Ma…please.” Her begging erupts into a sharp gasp as she witnesses you go down her breasts and start teasing the hardened brown buds with your tongue. “Please don’t make me beg for it.”
“That doesn’t sound like a yes or no answer, ri.” Retracting your mouth from her breasts and she lets out a whine. “Looks like we’ll have to finish this another time.”
It was right on the tip of her tongue but her sanity was preventing her from doing so, she decided to just go with it. Besides she’d have plenty of time to get back at you for leaving her high and dry.
“You still up for some Chipotle?”
Just because she endured your agonizing ridicule of her that doesn’t mean she’d be experiencing her bratty side more often.
You chuckle, “You know it.”
After enjoying eating out, you and Riri headed back to her dorm. Before you could have resided fully in the room, your girlfriend tackles you from behind as you released a delightful squeal, safely landing on the bed.
Facing each other and laying down on your sides as you locked eyes with each other. Staring at you in amazement, already envisioning your future together as a beaming smile appears on Riri’s face.
“I’m so happy to call you mine, now, baby.”
“As am I, sweet girl.”
Still shocked by your new relationship status, she conjoined her lips with yours in a feverish manner and switched positions, hovering her body over yours, her legs entrapping you at your sides as she positioned you on your back.
To drown out her palpitating heart, she intertwined her fingers with yours, outreaching your arm’s length above your head, squeezing the grip for easement.
“So all of that kiss for each correct answer was a decoy?” You questioned, quirking an eyebrow at the girl above you once you pulled away from the passionate kiss that you two shared.
“Uh huh, and you were dumb enough to fall for it.” She cockily smirked as her lips attacked your neck in a swift manner.
Giggling in adoration as your girlfriend painted your neck with soft kisses, each kiss sending a tingling sensation in your abdomen and a reminder of two promises that she swore to keep.
It was an absolute mixture of wanting to savor the moment in its prime and Riri assuring you that she’d be here through thick and thin along your side.
As your relationship began to flourish, the ethereal feeling of calling you, her girlfriend, never subsided. Nor will it ever subside, not if Riri had any insight about it.
Who knew studying for calculus would get you an intelligent girlfriend in return?

Okoye NSFW Drabbles
Okoye x Black Fem Reader
Translation: sithandwa, sweetheart uthando, love nkosazana, princess. ingelosi, angel.
Taglist- @fentibeauty @demxnicprxncess @sevikasmainwhore @shuris-whore
Y’all if it’s wrong please correct me in the comments, cause I tried my very best to get it correct.
Jealously?
This woman swears up and down that jealously is something that is not of her but, in reality, anyone who is proving to be a little too friendly towards her love, makes her blood absolutely boil. She would go lengths just to make sure that the fact that you belonged to her was known to you and to everyone else, wether that be the purple bruises trailed down your neck, that she wouldn’t allow you to cover, wanting the whole Wakanda to see her admirable work or fucking you dumb so that everyone could hear how good she made you feel.
Scenario:
“How could you call me jealous, hm?” She said, her tongue buried deep in your cunt, strategically moving the muscle as she always did. When she had you in such way, she couldn’t help but drive you completely senseless, addicted to the way her love looked all fucked out, only for her and her only. How eagerly you moved against her mouth, not even a hint of shame of the desperation you were demonstrating, just wanting even more of her, drunk off the sensation and the fire that pumped through your veins at being handled carelessly, something that, unless consumed by anger, Okoye never did.
“I could never be jealous of such foolish individuals making advances at you when all I have to do is say a word and you spread for me exactly like this, uthando.” She spat, sucking on your sensitive clit rather harshly, while her fingers replaced where her tongue used to be. She pushed them into you repeatedly, the action making you see white in your vision as your eyes rolled back slightly, tightening the hold of your plush thighs around her neck. “Right there, sithandwa.” You dragged, letting you teeth sink into your bottom lip as she worked her fingers into you at an unmerciful pace, the sounds of your wetness only becoming more louder with every movement of her fingers buried within you.
You could feel the coil in your stomach loosen, making your fingers grip the soft, silk sheets as your juices sprayed all over her, coating her and the sheets under you. She stared at your pussy in awe, watching as your cum dripped down from your mocha colored thighs to the freshly washed sheets. She dipped her slender finger in gently, coating it in your sweetness before having a small taste of her own, humming as she savored you.
“Can they make you do that, uthando?” She questioned, an self assured smirk on her face before placing a small sweet kiss on the top of your lips.
Submissive at all?
Okoye almost never submits to you in bed, but when she does allow you to prove your dominance, the pride the swells your chest is unreal. Her noises are the most telling fact if you are making her feel good, sometimes high and at others, low and smooth. She always made sure to keep you in check though, reminding you that through your teasing, she could take back the control of you at any given moment.
Scenario:
“Is this ok?” You questioned, making the woman who laid exposed in front of you groan in irritation at your constant questioning. She thought she was doing a good job of letting you know how she felt, but yet, you had still doubted yourself on certain aspects of giving her pleasure. “Yes, yes must I tell you for the last time, love. You’re doing amazing, nkosazana.” She said, pressing her hand to the back of your head, rather than doing talking she would rather she be the only thing in your mouth at the moment. You gladly obliged, placing a kiss on her cunt, starting with slow strokes, lapping up all her strands of wetness before increasing your speed, encouraged by her low groans and murmurs of “intombi elungile” or in english, good girl.
You felt her clench around your tongue, driving her cunt in you face as you moved your tongue against her, pushing into her at a rate that drove her absolutely mad, not being able to control the uncontrollable build up of intensity in her stomach. She could feel your confidence build, the way your tongues movement had more precision and intent behind them, eager to please and she was eager to receive. You peered at her through your eyelashes, watching as her head rolled back, her eyes shut while out of her mouth came words that were anything but innocent.
“You look divine, ingelosi.” You cooed, studying her in pure adoration as you continued your work. “Please, cum for me. I wanna taste you so badly.” You said, feeling her wrap around you at the words, the pitch of her moans increasing as she viciously went after her release. Soon, she let out what could be called a scream, her voice becoming weak and drawn out as she came straight into your mouth, the sweet, creamy substance coating your tongue. You cleaned her up, licking every last ounce of it as you watched it utter infatuation as she spasmed, heavy breathes filling the room, struggling to regain her strength.
“Did I do-” She cut you off, giving you a look that would look threatening, if it were under different circumstances. “If you ask that one more time.” She warned, beckoning you closer, before drawing your lips closer to hers, a thank you all in one. “After that I might have to marry you.” She joked, causing you to tap her arm lightly, playfully glaring at her. “So you hadn’t already thought about marrying me, hm?” You said, resulting in a light slap on your ass, a hearty laugh coming from her while she shook her head. “Mhm, I have thought of it, but this, this is making me think I might have to tie you down at a more faster rate.” She said, while you snaked your arms around her, pulling her closer to you, which surprisingly she’d allowed herself to be “small” twice the same night, snuggling into you, liking the feeling of your body heat against her relatively cooler one.
A/N: Alright y’all, I only did two this time. I’ll do more of her cause I feel as if she’s not wrote about enough. Me personally, I love me some Okoye, that’s one fine and powerful black queen that I can’t help but adore. 💗🫶🏾

After your daughter was soundly asleep, your wife tended to sneak out of the palace without announcing it. As usual, she didn’t leave a message nor informed any of the Dora Milaje of her whereabouts. She just upped and left, having no regard for your concern.
But enough was enough, you were tired of trying to manage your marriage with the Williams girl. You went above and beyond trying to revive your marriage for the sake of your daughter, Anathi, but it seems like she wasn’t sufficient for Riri.
You went to couple’s therapy, it transformed into an epic failure due to Riri’s resistance and incapability to reveal her vulnerability to the therapist.
Unfortunately, you didn’t want to but were ultimately forced to a conclusion that night. You knew her schedule like the back of your hand and knew that she would be drunk off her ass by this time of night.
Packing your bags ahead of time and hiding them in the guest room so Riri wouldn’t get suspicious.
She brought this upon herself, if she truly loved her family, she shouldn’t have been so neglectful and disloyal.
There were great memories that you shared with Riri before your sparking love died out, a time when your smile wasn’t plastered on and the shared kisses with Riri weren’t just a front for your daughter. Your proposal, the wedding day, the honeymoon, discussing about creating a family, your pregnancy months, the duration of giving birth, and celebrating your daughter’s milestone together as a family should.
Since she can leave why can’t you? Maybe, that was easier said than done.
Although your mind was persistent with moving on, your heart was refusing to let go of the amount of love that you held for your soon-to-be ex-wife.
She didn’t deserve your time. She didn’t deserve your love or effort to maintain your failing/broken relationship.
Your mind reckoned that Riri’s love for you was completely toxic, no matter how hard your heart tried to push the pain down. Her love for you wasn’t natural, it wasn’t healthy to contain inside your heart.
Because if you truly loved someone, it shouldn’t have hurt this much.
After discovering that she was out cheating, your tears turned numb and instead devoted extra time to your daughter. Someone had to do it, and it definitely wasn’t going to be Riri.
With a shaky exhale, you slipped your wedding ring off your finger and placed the tiny, yet, very expensive jewelry on the bedside.
Releasing a tiny sniffle in the peaceful atmosphere as your eyes drift from the ring to the photo-frame on the bedside. It was the three of you with big radiant smiles being delighted in each other’s embrace at Disneyworld.
Oh, where did the glorious years go by?
“Where are we going, mommy?” The familiar voice caused you to quickly erase your tears away before looking at your daughter.
“Oh…sweetie, we’re just going on a family bonding trip. Just me and you, how does that sound?”
She quickly made her way to you, sitting on the bed. “What about mama?” Her voice was genuine, her beautiful beady brown eyes bouncing up at you. Your heart became consumed with guilt, knowing that you have to come clean.
“Mama’s not coming with us.” Wrapping an arm around her small physique as you looked down on her.
“Why not?”
“We’re going to Haiti for a while,” you informed your daughter, placing a few braids behind her ear. “Don’t you wanna see aunt Nakia, aunt Shuri, and cousin Touissant?”
Her eyes spark up at her familial mentions as she nodded enthusiastically. “Of course I do.”
You smile, caressing her cheek. “That’s my girl,”
As long as you had Anathi, you were rewarded with a lifetime of happiness without a doubt.
It was nearing nightfall and you were about to fly out to Haiti with no signs of interruption, meaning that Riri wasn’t home yet. The floor to the quinjet was still open, the cool autumn breeze softly flowing inside. Anathi was safely buckled in her seat playing on her tablet while two guards guarded the vehicle.
Perhaps there was a drop of an ounce in you that wished Riri would have pulled her head out of her ass for once, and at least try to fix her mistakes.
Luckily you had arranged to have a familiar face with you for the journey.
“Aneke, can you watch her?”
“Of course, your majesty.” She slightly bowed in respect.
“Thanks, I’ll be right back.” You left the quinjet and headed toward the palace. Sauntering back into your old bedroom with a wide grin, deep in thought about reuniting Anathi with her family back in Haiti.
“So you think you slick now, huh?” She taunted adamantly and your grin disappears as a pit formed in your stomach. Only the bedside lamp illuminated the dark bedroom making her figure look ghastly, her shadow overlooking the room.
That sickening feeling returns as your mind is fogged up with horrible possibilities of how this interaction with Riri will go.
“When did you arrive home?” You hesitantly asked.
“A few minutes ago, but that’s not the main subject here.” She finally looked up at you, gritting her teeth. “Where are you and Anathi’s belongings?!…and don’t goddamn lie to me.”
Kissing your teeth as you thought of a plausible lie to get out of this sticky situation, “I’m going to visit my family in Haiti.”
A low chuckle rose from her, immediately aware that you were lying but decided to play along. “Oh yeah, for how long?” She clicked her tongue, not waiting on a response, getting up from the bed. “No-no, the better question yet, who the fuck you gonna be meeting there?” Her defensive tone erupted into a loud shout.
“Keep your voice down, Anathi could hear you.”
“I ain’t give a shit, right now, [name]. I have questions and what I want now is reasonable answers.”
Everything seemed off with her: her posture, her hard stares, and that sharp tongue of hers. That sharp tongue of hers was always the main root of self-destruction.
“Fine, if you must know…I’m divorcing you and preparing to take full custody of Anathi.”
“You not going anywhere and you damn well not taking my child with you.” Perhaps it was the strictness in her tone which made you backtrack on your next few words.
“Yes, I can and yes, I will.”
Strutting confidently towards you, her hands wrapped around your waist, her eyes boring into yours. “Come on ma, don’t be like that.” Instead of having a list of stringed apologies working in your favor, she decided on another solution for your forgiveness.
Her lips were instantly attached to your neck, peppering sloppy kisses there. “I always make it up to you, don’t I?” Remaining silent, giving Riri the tiny confirmation as she started to suck harder on your neck creating hickeys.
“No, you can’t do this, Riri.” You explained, pushing her off of you, watching her eyebrows furrow in confusion. “You can’t have sex with me and expect me to fall into this ridiculous cycle with you again. You run off somewhere, smell like some other bitch, and expect me to be fine with it but that shit hurts like hell. I’ve been with you through thick and thin and I don’t even know what I did to deserve this treatment from you.”
Tears were threatening to spill out of your eyes but regretfully you held them back. By unleashing your vulnerability, it would coax her easy access into enticing her back into her arms.
You weren’t going to be defenseless anymore….at least not against her. “But the truth is, you still haven’t changed. God, you don’t even have to change for me, at least change for our daughter.”
Not replying in words, her solemn features were an answer in itself. For once, she actually felt guilty for her wrongdoings and that gave very little joy.
“I’m leaving and that’s final.” You headed for the door.
She sobered up very quickly, once she realized that you are extremely serious, and rushed towards you, stopping you by your forearm. Tears quickly brim her eyes, finding her arms back on your waist, gripping tightly. “Ma, please don’t leave me, I’m so lost without you. I’m nothing without Anathi, I’m nothing without you.”
Reconciling with you was the last option right now, so Riri prayed that a few sweet words would do the trick.
“Please don’t make this harder than it already is,” You mumbled, caressing her face and drying her tears away with the pad of your thumb. “I'm not sorry, Riri. The only time that I’ll see you is when you come to visit Anathi.”
“Did you ever truly love me, because I loved you? We both know that those other girls meant nothing to me, you are my world…you and Anathi are my universe.” Riri studied your love languages and knew that words of affection always made you fold.
Breaking out of her hold fueled by sudden astonishment at her foolish tricks. “Don’t play the love me card because we both know that I loved the hardest. I’ve fought the hardest to make this family work.”
“[Name] think of Anathi, our daughter.” That was a definite low blow. She couldn’t even believe her own words, being appalled at her style of speech.
Never once in her life, she didn’t even think that she would resort to using her daughter as the last ultimatum in the conversation, and Riri knew that you were gullible when it surrounds your daughter.
Although she was scared of your reaction, she continued, dragging herself deeper into the blazing fire. “How do you think Anathi will feel once she realizes that we aren’t together anymore, [name]?”
She was downright determined by continuing to trap you in this matrimony.
“You don’t think that I thought about our daughter during this whole time?” your voice raised in an octave, fury rising in your chest.
As much as you loved your wife, she wasn’t going to have the triumph of making you out to be a horrible wife and mother. Oh no, you were going to remain victorious throughout the whole process of this divorce.
“Every night, you were out doing god knows who, I was here with her. Do you have any idea how it felt when I have to cover up your toxicity from her? How I had to lie whenever she gets suspicious about the company that you sleep around with?” You strode slowly towards her, each word covered in hostility. “Hmmm…do you have any idea what that felt like?”
How ironic that when she wasn’t initiating the argument, she immediately cowered in fear.
“Fight back, Riri!” You yelled, pushing her back with your uttermost strength. You couldn’t figure out the reason for your anger, whether how Riri wasn’t defending herself or that she still wasn’t remorseful for her mistakes. “Fucking fight back!!”
Once you realized that releasing your rage upon her wasn’t the way to go about the situation, you calmed your senses. Deep intakes and outtakes of breaths as you balled your fists into a ball, struggling with the temptation to slap her.
Being too shameful to look you in the eye was the most cowardly thing that Riri Williams could have ever done.
“I think that she’s starting to realize that we’re falling out of love and is desperately trying to spend quality time with us. She shouldn’t be the one struggling to keep our marriage together. We should be the ones fixing our marriage to focus on each other, not her, not our daughter. It should be us, and only us.”
“If you love me, don’t leave me.” Riri’s voice came out in a whisper.
“I’m sorry, Riri, but you’re toxic and we both know this is best so that you don’t pass it on to our daughter.”
Rather than another broken plea to stay, she connected her lips with yours. At first, you resisted, trying to disconnect your lips but she enamored you into returning the kiss. Your hands caress her face as she softly deepens the kiss, your tongues gently dancing with each other.
If this was truly the last time spent you, she wanted to at least end it off with a good note that her mind will remember it by.
You swore to never experience this bittersweet sentiment with her anymore, Riri perceived that as well so she meant to put her might and soul into this one.
“I’ll try, I promise, I’ll try.” They were the first words that fell from her lips once she pulled away from the meaningful kiss.
“I don’t need your promises, ri. You need to sort your shit out by yourself and once you do that, just sign the damn papers.” And with that, you left the palace, your heart vowing to never return to the swindling woman named Riri Williams.
It was just better this way, whether Riri agreed to it or not. You deserved real love and you weren’t going to rekindle it with the past anymore. Riri Williams was now a name of a past that you’d rather forget, seeking to live in the present from here on then.

better to have loved, I.
pairing: michael rainey jr inspired male oc (kordell) x coco jones inspired fem oc (akia) summary: kordell and akia have a complicated relationship. he is all into her, and she’s confused as to what she wants due to a recent heartache. throughout their ups and downs, he’s convinced that it’s still better to love her than to not love her at all. warning: angst. old plot revived. eventual fluff. heartache. unrequited love. songs: better to have loved, keke palmer. love, need, and want you, patti labelle. if only you knew, patti labelle. relationship, anthony ramos. tags: @neeville @fentibeauty @blackwriter48 @adoseofbull @dulcewrites
Low, red eyes focused upon a hazy figure ahead of him. The mellowness of a mutually adored rhythm and blues artist poured out of newly purchased speakers. Slowly, what was seemingly a hazy figure, manifested into her. It seemed as if time had stood still. Atlas was shown mercy and the world came to a standstill, and everything around them had desiccated. It was only them, only her.
She was a beauty. A vibrant soul with a vibrant smile that lit up everything in her vicinity. He remembered when he first saw her. It was during their sophomore year. A mutual friend invited her to a random outing and she tagged along. When they were making their rounds to introduce themselves to her, she smiled widely at him and batted her lashes like the flirt she was, and at that point, he knew he was stuck. He couldn't keep his eyes off her that day, to say the least.
She, Akia, laid comfortable on the right side of his bed, swaddled in pajama shorts and one of his old shirts. Her leg was tossed over his and her fingers traced the gold chain around his neck. Moments like these were nothing short of his favorite. This was the closest he'd ever get to be with her, aside from a hug or peck on the cheek here and there. Times like these were where his fantasies came to life. He'd get to lay beside her, to wrap his arms around her when she shivered throughout the night, to feel her warm breath against his neck when she cuddled into his side.
Unfortunately, the affection would end whenever her heavy eyelids fluttered open in the morning, and the dreams and fantasies get flushed down a drain. It was a never ending cycle; a roller coaster. One that he refused to stop by unbuckling the seat belt and lifting the bar.
The wrench that fit around his iambic pentameter like a glove would only rotate quicker and quicker, harder and harder, whenever she threw the "friend" card his way. He always found his stomach churning in discomfort and irritation when she addressed him as such. He knew she didn't mean it purposefully, especially because apparently she was completely aware of how he felt. He dropped subtle hints, but it seemed that she didn't understand or she was intentionally ignoring them.
And as much as Akia was right, it didn't diffuse the desolation that spread throughout his body whenever the word fell from her plump lips. How couldn't it? He always thought they had some kind of connection, one that he himself thought was obvious. Hell, even those around them thought something was going on.
Kordell bit along the inside of his cheek and turned his head to face the window. He let his arm slide from around Akia's waist and rest it by his side.
"Dell, What're you thinking about?" her voice spoke out into the dim room. Kordell shook his head against his pillow. Akia's fingers found themselves twirling the strings of his durag as a means to get him to open up.
"Nothing." His reply was short. He didn't want
her to press on. The last thing he wanted to do was to try to talk around the topic of her...to her. It didn't make sense and he refused to do it.
Akia understood by the tone of his voice that he didn't want the unknown topic to be discussed, so she muttered a small okay. "Well, I'm gonna take a shower, 'kay?"
Kordell hummed in response and turned back to face her. He never understood how she looked so pretty at all times. Her beauty shone brighter than ever as the natural light beat down on her skin. Akia smiled and pressed a soft kiss against his cheek, climbed out of the bed, and padded out of the room. Kordell's eyes were trained on the exposed skin of her back that lead to the swell of her bottom as she did so, up until she was out of sight.
He sighed heavily and closed his eyes. Maybe if he forced himself to sleep, the pictures of her would desolate from his mind.

“Okay, don’t make it too tight. I still need to dance.” You said to your stylist, Jay.
“Girl please, you’ll be okay. Just know they’re gonna eat up this look on the socials.” He said, taking out his phone to take a video of your outfit to which you spun around and posed.
“I know that’s right!” He exclaimed.
“Y/n!” You heard your manager, Stacey, call out before entering your dressing room. “You’ve got like 10 minutes till show time and I was just told that there’s a special guest but you’ll just meet them after the show.” She rushed, giving you a thumbs up and immediately walking out the room.
“That girl needs a break. Her hair’s already frizzy. I gotta fix it for her.” You heard Jay mumble to you while fixing up your outfit. Your braids were in a ponytail, good enough to hold through your dancing tonight.
You always knew that celebrities would attend your concerts but never would they announce themselves until after the show. You always put your heart into your shows and tonight was not gonna be any different.
“5 minutes!” You heard people shout outside your dressing room. You quickly stood up and made your way to the main backstage area where you got your signature mic and were placed on the raising platform.
The bass of your song boomed throughout the stadium, making the crowd cheer louder than they already were.
༺♡༻
The beat of Streets could be felt pumping through your chest as the song started and the crowd already singing along to the lyrics.
You had dancers on both sides of you, already doing the choreo that had been working on for ages. You held your mic and continued to dance while making eye contact with fans. That’s one of the many things you were known for. Your intense focus when performing along with your voice, something that attracted many to you.
You had done your signature dance where you were on your knees and showed off your arch by sliding your arms on the floor. It was going ever so smoothly but you could feel eyes watching you. Weird to say as it is your own concert however you had to listen to your gut when it said to look backstage.
And boy, did you almost slip up. Getting up and continuing the dance, you had let your fans rap the first few sentences. Not wanting your professionalism streak to be stained, you carried on as if you hadn’t seen a single thing.
You thought your eyes deceived you when you had seen Shuri, the Queen of Wakanda standing backstage with Stacey, who had the brightest smile on her face as she secretly pointed to Shuri. Seeing her was like a fever dream to you. Watching her on the news and seeing her become the phenomenal queen she is to the world’s most powerful nation.
When you heard through the grapevine that Shuri was a fan of your music, you couldn’t even think straight. You had always admired the Wakandan Royal Family along with the country itself, hoping to visit once in your lifetime. It also didn’t help that you developed the biggest crush on her whenever she showed up on whichever one of your screens.
The way the monarch carried herself with elegance and grace but also presented herself as powerful and filled with pride for her country. She was a year older than you and yet she was already ruling a country. There had been times where she had been your muse when writing lyrics but you thought of it as being crazy because you don’t even know her.
Her outfit had been driving you crazy since you glanced at her then did a double take. She had on a fitted suit with crystals around the shoulders and multiple rings on her fingers from what you could see. Her eyes were stuck on you as if you pulled her into a trance with your dancing. Her eye contact was intense, locking eyes with you as soon as you finished the song. As the crowd cheered, so did she. Smiling ever so gently, you saw what could be grills on her bottom teeth, adding more to the look than ever.
You’ve never wanted to finish a concert more than now.
༺♡༻
You finally entered your dressing room without anyone following you in. You immediately took off your heeled boots and immediately reached for your uggs from your travel bag, sighing at the relief of your change of shoes.
You were still in your performance outfit, looking as if you didn’t just finish a 2 and a half hour concert. You made your way out of your room to get to the food station backstage where you knew you’d find your manager.
“Y/n, you absolutely killed it! Such an amazing performer.” Stacey walked over to you and hugged you. “I’m glad I made you smile. Who’s the special guest from earlier?” You asked and before Stacey could answer you, you heard banging behind you.
You turned around to see Shuri and two women standing behind her. You refrained from cussing but it seemed like your mouth beat you to it. “Holy shit.” You said, earning a smile from Shuri.
Oh my god, she was wearing grills.
“I should be saying that to you, Y/n. It is an honour to meet you.” Shuri said, holding out her hand to shake yours then gently placing her other hand on top of yours.
“It’s such an honour to meet you. Thank you so much for taking time out of your schedule to be here. This means so much to me.” You said, truthfully. You could barely construct a sentence because of how she was looking at you. Her eyes were trained on yours then trailed down to look at your outfit. You pulled down your skirt to show respect but she quickly stopped.
“You looked phenomenal tonight. And your performances were out of this world.” Shuri complimented you and you tried to compose yourself. Looking up at her, you didn’t realise that Shuri was taller than what you saw on tv.
“That’s so sweet. Thank you, Your Majesty.” You said. “No need for formalities. You can call me Shuri.” She smiled at you and your knees almost buckled at the sight of her with grills. You developed an entire new kink just by looking at her smile. Oh, you were down horrendous.
“I should be taking my leave soon. However, I do feel as if the people of Wakanda deserve to see you perform so I will keep in contact with you?” Shuri said, causing your eyes to widen and to look at Stacey who was just as surprised.
“Sure. How though?” You asked, seeing as you weren’t carrying your phone. She took out hers and gave it to you, insinuating that you should put your number in.
Two weeks ago, you would never believe this would happen.
“I shall see you soon. It was amazing meeting you.” She said, opening her arms and pulling you in for a hug with your arms wrapped around her neck and hers wrapped tightly around your waist, inhaling her scent of Coconut and Mango with a perfume you couldn’t recognise.
“See you soon.” You said, as she walked away from you and waved. You stood there frozen, not knowing whether to move or not. “Girl, she wants you.” You heard Stacey say behind you, also watching Shuri walk away.
“Girl bye.”

The mixture of waves harshly crashing against the seashore and seagulls squawking from the skies drowned out Shuri’s sniffles as the warm breeze lightly wanders throughout her curls.
After finding out that she was not only a sister but also an aunt, her thoughts on the universe drastically changed once she realized that she wouldn’t have to grieve alone. Upon her brother’s passing and, currently, her mother’s recent passing broke her heart beyond pieces, and it was slowly rendering to its alignment.
Her eyes rested on the bonfire ahead of her, surveying the last bits of her funeral garments that furnished in the fire, transforming into black ashes. Breaking out into a tiny fit of giggles as she wiped away the runaway tears from her face.
All the weight on her shoulders was finally being lifted off and she felt like she can breathe again. Peace had managed to find a way into her heart once again.
Becoming an upcoming Queen was just going to bring back more unwanted stress that she simply just wanted to avoid. Of course, she’ll miss Wakanda, it was her homeland but from here on then, Haiti was her new home.
The waves brought her into a quiescent stupor as she admires the view in tranquility and astonishment. The ocean was her new getaway from time to time.
Music faintly played from the west side of the beach which caught Shuri’s ears but she didn’t pay any mind to it. The symphony gave her a soothing meditation to relaxation as she lets her eyes rest, swaying silently to the upbeat tune.
Being completely absorbed into her own world, the princess didn’t register when a shadow halted before her. However, when you gently tapped on her shoulder, it brought her out of a trance.
“Hey, you okay, you look like you’ve been through hell.” You softly speak, bending down slightly to the black woman.
Shaking her head in reassurance as a light-hearted chuckle erupts from her. “Trust me, you have no idea.” Shuri was finally healing and a stranger being sympathetic toward her wasn’t going to help. The stranger was only being kind to her and the princess shouldn’t chastise her for basic human decency.
She raised her head to look up at you, plastering on a charming smile, squinting her eyes a bit. “If it’s not a problem, I kinda wanna be alone right now.” Obligated to end the conversation with you, she spoke very dismissively, hoping you would take the hint and leave her be.
“Right, sorry for disturbing you.” You brushed her off with a firm head nod and got up to leave. But before you left, you stopped mid-track turning back towards her, “I’m over there,” pointing towards a horde of young kids, who seems to be playing numerous activities as her eyesight follows your finger.
“In case you wanted to chat. It looks like you need a friend.” You advised her before taking your leave.
As Shuri watches your figure in the distance become smaller, her lips transform into a tiny smile at the thought of your sincere words to her, despite never acknowledging her before. This was the kindest that a stranger had ever been so nice to her and she treasured it.
Shuri didn’t know you but you did know her. You were a close friend of Nakia and when T’Challa was around, the couple trusted you enough to tell you about the royal family and its members.
The princess was everything that you expected. Nothing more and absolutely nothing less. She was exceptionally stunning, both facial features and body physique, and that accent was….just so sexy.
When your body frame disappeared into the crowd of children, Shuri pondered on your kind suggestion, it was deemed healthy to create new friendships, so why not give it a shot?
Contemplating her decision, if she stayed alone it was eventually going to become tedious, and besides, you were allegedly interesting enough to spark up another conversation with.
Getting up from the log and dusting herself off, she strolled towards the west side of the beach to be met with a group of eager kids.
Shuri realized that you were nowhere to be seen and unknowingly a frown etched upon her face. A few children gathered around Shuri, curious about the newcomer’s whereabouts.
Amongst the children stood her nephew, Toussaint, and his vibrant smile catches onto his aunt’s. He swiftly ran up to her, tugging onto her hand and dragging her towards a cool shaded area. Without saying anything else, Touissant left the two to talk in private.
“I didn’t think that you would have taken up on my offer.” You persisted, chewing on the last of your watermelon.
“Well, I gave you the benefit of the doubt.” She chuckles lightly before pointing at the free chair, her eyebrows mildly arched. “Can I sit here?” You nodded, allowing her to sit on the lounge chair next to you. Once, she had planted herself in the chair, a cold icy pina colada was handed to her.
Taking the cold drink with a soft chuckle and radiant smile, “Cheers.” You delicately clinked your glasses together and began drinking the sweet cold cocktail.
“I’m Shuri.” She introduced herself.
“And I’m [name].” You greeted the girl beside you with a small grin. Soon enough, with you being an easy listener, Shuri gained the confidence to resume the conversation.
Toussaint had finished preparing a necklace for his new aunt and wanted to give her a welcome-home gift.
The neck jewelry consisted of shells with different varieties of shapes, colors, and sizes which were strung along by a thin piece of silver thread.
He got up from the table and ran towards his mother who was supervising the other children alongside a few other adults. “Hey, mama, can I give this to aunt Shuri? I made it just for her.” With a crooked smile, he dangled the handmade necklace in front of Nakia’s face.
“Of course, my son.” They headed to the secluded area where you and Shuri were currently occupying.
Nakia stopped her son with a halt of her hand. “Wait until later, your aunt appears to be busy at the moment.” The young boy follows his mother’s perception, landing on you and Shuri giggling at one of her jokes while snacking on daiquiris and watermelon.
The two seemed to be deeply engrossed in their conversation, simultaneously having inquiries for the other, recalling funny memories and whatnots.
It was only when Shuri removed her eyes from you, she spotted the young black boy staring intensely back at the duo. The princess beckoned her relative over with a vibrant grin and the boy staggers over to the two of you.
“Do you seem to be having a good time, aunty?” He asked his aunt, switching his eyesight between the two women in front of him, yearning to see who would reply first.
Locking her doe chestnut eyes adoringly reflecting on you, “I’m having a splendid time, to be exact.” Shuri beamed at her nephew who was mirroring a smile as well.
Nakia’s voice broke the calm atmosphere as she shouted at her son. “Toussaint, I told you to leave your aunt alone.”
Upon hearing his mother’s outburst, he slightly winced at the tone and began to rush off but, briefly, he stopped turning back around and tossed the necklace to Shuri to catch before sprinting off into the sea.
Both of you laugh at the boy’s antics, observing how well he blended in with the young children who were having a blast in the shallow water.
Adventurous and intelligent at a young age were definitely Shuri’s characteristics.
Maybe, moving to Haiti was the smartest thing that she’d ever done. Not that she’s admitting that tiny detail to anyone. Needless to say, T’Challa described Haiti as a home away from home, and he couldn’t have been more correct, the nostalgia was similar. The culture, food, and beliefs were all spectacular and unique.
Deep in thought, Shuri observed your mouth, drowning out your voice causing it to become unintelligible.
“Did you hear what I said, Shuri?” Bewildered by your sudden realization of her stupor and she quickly regains her composure trying to conceal her embarrassment after being caught. “Yeah, [name], I’m fine. What were you saying?”
You hum a smile as you finished your sentence and Shuri attentively complies, her countenance shows that she’s genuinely interested in whatever comes out of your mouth.
Yeah, the princess could surely get used to interacting with the alluring woman before her.
That was 7 ½ months ago and your friendship with the princess became stronger and more open. Even brought up the topic of your teen pregnancy nevertheless, Shuri accepted your rough teen years and even met the young ones.
Later on, the friendship developed into something better. Quite frankly, a romantic relationship in which, at the time, Shuri needed a friend, and you were exactly that to her but after spending hardcore intimacy with you, she knew that she had to make you hers.
Although you two were practically adults, you made Shuri promise to keep your relationship a secret from your children. It wasn’t for the wrong reasons at all. You deeply loved Shuri and wouldn’t want her to make her feel remorse for meeting you.
She was your sweet adoring girlfriend. Of course, you wanted to share that with your kids.
It’s just that…you’re worried that your twins are going to take it the wrong way. To say that you despised their father was a massive understatement, he disappeared when you told him and popped out of nowhere during their 1st birthday. Since you didn’t want to be viewed as the bad mother by your kids, you allowed Jamal to meet his kids.
Regardless of that matter at bay, you were at Nakia’s house in Shuri’s room doing some extracurricular activities. Nakia and Toussaint were out running errands and Shuri decided to seize the opportunity to an empty home, your girlfriend was always a brilliant one.
“You are truly breathtaking, my love.” Shuri pants, her head hitting the pillow as she slowly tries to regain her composure as beads of sweat cascade down her forehead. “And that was– how did you manage to even form that position?” For once in her life, she was puzzled. The smartest woman alive was clueless for the first time and science couldn’t have given her a reliable answer.
You smiled, snuggling farther into her warm embrace. “I took gymnastics since I was five, so it sticks with me.” Placing your head onto her chest as her fingers weaved through your knotless braids, content with you being closely in her arms.
“Ahhh…” The princess hums appreciatively. “My love, do you think that we have enough time to cuddle?” She questioned you, her eyes planted downward at you.
Looking up towards your sweet girlfriend, who has plastered on a cheeky smile, waiting for a response. “You’re in charge, aren’t you? Why don’t you tell me?” You smirked, and the lustful banter became unreleased, as you sultry moved from her waist and upward to her face.
You did know how to drive her crazy and, trust me, she loves it.
Raising her eyebrows in the query as she leaned in, her lips sweetly passionately greeted yours, just soft-hearted adoration, leaving zero space for hot pulsating desire.
Raising her eyebrows in the query as she leaned in, her lips sweetly passionately greeted yours, just soft-hearted adoration, leaving zero space for hot pulsating desire.
Just then, your phone rang interrupting your fervent makeout, causing Shuri to groan into the crook of your neck. “Just ignore it, sweetheart.” So you did and Shuri’s lips were back on yours without hesitation. Her hands were everywhere as they picked you up and adjusted you on her lap, the kiss becoming ravenous by the minute.
Even if you wanted to answer the call, your girlfriend was persistent about having you in her arms tonight, and how could you refuse that great opportunity?
Humming along to a random melody as you raked your fingers through her luxurious curls as your girlfriend listened intently to your heartbeat. These were the times that Shuri wish she could never stop if she ever had the power, just to freeze time and stay in the moment.
Your phone chirping up a message ruined the calmful aura, as you leaned over to grab your phone from the nightstand and read over the message. But glorious moments must always come to an end, don’t they all?
“That’s my sister, I have to go.” You frowned, irritated at your shortened quality time with her. Your girlfriend lets out a sigh of defeat as she begrudgingly removes herself from your loving embrace, watching you bounce off the bed and towards the mirror.
Soon enough, two arms slid sneakily around your waist and a chin is placed on your shoulder causing your frown to disperse into a warm smile of admiration for the girl in the mirror.
She knows your every weakness, and you knew hers. You two were a match made in heaven and Shuri wants everyone to know it as well.
“C’mon sthandwa sami, just stay for a little longer.” She persuades, littering your neck with wet kisses as her maze of curls tickles your cheeks. She knew damn well that neck kisses were your soft spot, but, surprisingly, you were stronger today and denied her advances, no matter how sexy and tempting they were.
“My sister has her date tonight so she can’t watch the kids, I’m sorry, baby.” You apologized, connecting her saddened eyes with your sorrowful beady ones, seeing her lips detached from your soft brown skin as her electrifying touch vanishes.
You had hardly seen your lover for the past few weeks due to your nosy ex always surprisingly showing on your doorstep with the same old excuse:
“I’m here for Kayden and Karina.”
It was a douchebag move, to be honest, using your children as an excuse to regain empathy with old lovers, could he be more pathetic?
Shuri was aware of Jamal’s advances on you and jealousy would consume her entire being, constantly she tried to hide it but you knew that the princess wasn’t a good liar at all.
Luckily, your girlfriend wasn’t a grudge holder and you would often reward her for being so grateful, which resulted in you between her thighs. In her opinion, she would rather give than receive, just to remind you daily, who you belonged to, so it’s a win-win either way.
“Of course, dearest, I mustn’t stop you.” Her playful facade seemingly disappears as her fingers gently brush across your ebony skin whilst tucking a few braids that were in her way. Reassuringly, her fingers began to re-hook your bra.
Once the last hook was completed, she manages eye contact with you in the mirror as the curves of her lips tug into a mischievous smile, her head tilting to the right slightly. “Although you seemed to be forgetting something.”
What was your girlfriend up to now?
Turning your head towards her, confused and curious as to what you could be supposedly missing. Your phone was in your purse, you weren’t wearing any of her belongings as of right now. Unless she probably meant the kimoyo beads that she gifted you on your fifth date. “Darling, what could I possibly for–“ In an instant, her lips were on yours as her hand softly caresses your face, a smile crept upon her face once she realized that she had you trapped.
“Hayi, mntwana wam. uyayazi nyani indlela yokundimangalisa.” ( “Damn, baby. You really know how to take me by surprise.” ) You spoke in between kisses, keeping the connection of your lips together.
Towering down over you as a smirk taunts her lips, “Seems like you’ve been learning your Xhosa a lot, didn’t you dearest?”
Her lips lingered on yours as you released a shaky breath and she pulls away with a satisfied grin, “Now you have everything.” Sauntering away from you, she tosses your shirt and jumps back on the bed.
That little tease surely likes to play the long game.
You focused your attention back on getting dressed before Shuri came up with any more ideas into seducing you to spend the night.
Your girlfriend was unusually quiet for the remainder of the night, fully aware that Shuri would talk whenever she had any given chance. By the time you were leaving, she shuffled awkwardly on her bed. “Do you think that I can meet your children anytime soon?” She hesitantly asked, her tone implying that she ruminated on this question for a couple of weeks, if so, maybe even months. “Like us as a couple since they only know me as your friend.”
Her question left you perplexed, it was an out-of-the-blue kind of question. You never discussed your kids that much with Shuri, so what was with the sudden question? Shuri was never the kind to beat around the bush, always out with the cold direct honesty, so you assumed that you’d be accustomed to her sharp mouth.
It was certainly a big step in your relationship and Shuri wanted to experience it, already envisioning creating a family with you.
Your children were the proportion so she just needed your confirmation, and she was determined on getting your permission.
The colossal extent of silence gave her the wrong indication as she hurriedly got up from the bed, rushed towards you and held her hands in yours. “Just ignore what I said. I realized that I was overstepping boundaries and didn’t want to make things more awkward.” It was frequent for Shuri to morph from cute into nervous in a matter of seconds, mainly you being the purpose.
Oh, there were numerous times when Shuri would unintentionally freeze up and become a flustering mess because of you, but that’s a story for another day.
You insisted, squeezing her knuckles tenderly as her beautiful eyes poured deeply into yours. “How about tomorrow night? We have dinner at my house, I’ll cook them their favorite and we break it down to them gently.”
“Really?” Her eyes glistened with passion. You’ve both been open in the relationship, expressing your love for one another, making it seemingly easy to understand each other.
“Hell yeah.” You grinned at your lovesick girlfriend. “I’ve been meaning to talk about telling my kids about our relationship but I couldn’t just find the right time.” In fact, you were beyond ecstatic, that Shuri was comfortable enough to discuss your kids about your dating status.
Besides what could go wrong? Your charismatic girlfriend and your two loving kids stuck in the same room, well…in the same house, if we’re being technical. Will it be a waiting disaster or a winning success? Only tomorrow will tell, and, god, you only hope that it all goes according to plan.
