I'm suddenly getting REALLY excited for ch&t season 2. Like it came out of nowhere. I'm especially excited for Fennel, Adam, and Natsume to get some voice lines!!!

I'm really hoping that it'll come out this year; no pressure on Blue Mayfield of course because I'm sure running a podcast is hard work, I'm just. SO EXCITED. If I have to wait much longer I think I might explode.

Aaaand a new season is also probably the closest I'll get to seeing Jedidiah, Natsume, and the counselors again... (aside from making friends with someone who's a fictionkin/fictive/introject of them, but idk if that'll ever happen)

Still freaking out about Jeddie's new VA though, that will certainly be hard to get used to....

Fennell and Soren swap:

Fennell is a very friendly counsellor, although their friendliness can sometimes come off as… eerie? Maybe uncanny is the right word. Too “peace and love”… suspiciously sweetly spoken. They pay Lucille a lotttttt of money for the privilege of tending to the landscape, but the more you hear them talk about their gardening, the weirder it gets. They seem to have this obsession with death and revival… not in a typical necromancy way, but through the cycle of life. Returning to mother earth’s embrace, being born anew as the pure and perfect flora which would sprout from your discarded flesh! They think humans have estranged themselves from Mother Earth… we are her children, she misses us so! We deserve to be reunited, don’t we? Someone should maybe question them about all those poisonous plants they’ve been tending to… pollen like *that* in the air could be dangerous.

Soren is *somehow* well liked by most everyone at camp. He’s just a guy with a passion for… uh… we don’t actually know what his deal is. He is a walking paradox, so cryptic and weird that his unprompted villainous monologues are more a source of levity than concern. He never actually hurts anyone… if anything, he reigns in Fennel with his specific brand of high-energy nonsense, keeping them distracted with his MUCH less dangerous schemes. He seems to think he’s a villainous mastermind, but his idea of mischief is like… planting honeynut squash in the garden and convincing Warren to use it for “butternut squash soup”. Then he’ll stand over you while you eat, laughing maniacally, and asking you how you like your “butternut squash soup”. It’s… it’s honeynut squash. Pure evil. He’s the kind of guy who can walk into an ongoing conflict and offer a perspective SO bizarre that the mood of the room flips on its head, and everyone starts laughing. He has inadvertently solved many problems, and is an enemy to none. So yeah, shoutout Soren. We all know you’re cool.

in each cabin, every counselor has some sort of matching jewellery. say, fennel and soren have half-heart necklaces, yvonne and joshua have friendship bracelets, salem and marisol have sun and moon rings, rowan and juniper might have hair accessories(?) and so on

they're all bought and/or crafted by the campers btw 🩷🧀

Sydney and Jedidiah had matching necklaces but Jedidiah hasn't worn his in years. Sydney still wears his every day -🦨
