Personality: With hot-blooded enthusiasm flowing through her veins, Nova is a young girl that very few can bring down the mood of as she is a positive ray of sunshine. Most people are quick to pick up on Nova's cheerful and hyperactive through her tendency to shout to express what's on her mind espesically when she feels it will power her up. That 100% came from her watching Rayquaza Ball....and her father don't quite want to correct that behavior quite yet. Regardless, while she may have her moments where she has a simple way of thinking (which is no surprise due to her age), the girl has strong tenacity and will stop at nothing to accomplish whatever goal she wants to reach. It's this deep determination that grants her an indomitable will. That determination to never give up is one of the things many tend to acknowledge and becomes the basis for others to acknowledge her. Behind that jolly nature is a little girl that wants to be acknowledge by those she knows and be regarded as being a hero of some sort. She does tries her hardest to be as brave as she can for the Finn since she sees herself as being a older sister to him.

Nova is not the type that tolerates others insulting her friends to the point that she will not hesitate verbally lashing out at those who do so. God forbid you try to go for her parents, That verbal lashing becomes a physical one at that point. However, what makes Nova special is the fact that she believes that those that have done wrong should work to actively make up for their wrongdoings if said wrongdoings are heinous enough in her eyes. She always holds others accountable for their misdeeds, regardless if she has forgiven them or not. Her open, friendly, and non-judgmental attitude, indomitable will, and stubbornness has earned her the respect of almost everyone he meet.

F-Zero GP Legend Anime Headcannons➩Pokemon Partner(s)

{Before I begin let me just say this, you may not like the Pokemon partners I give to the certain characters I chose, that's ok}

(Anyways here's some Pokemon I think these characters would have)

Jody Summer- Stufful and Meowstic (Female),I think these Pokemon would be her Pokemon partners, then stufful will evolve to Bewear and it can be a useful partner to have for missions since she trained stufful with her brother as well (I will Mention his Pokemon partner(s)) two, Meowstic was once a Espurr which was gifted from her brother when Espurr followed him back home. It later evolved during a mission. Goodra is a good choice and may smother people in slime by accident which may cause a mess in HQ.

Lucy Liberty-Definitely A wigglytuff, reason why because it was a Pokemon she raised when it was an egg and it was a special one she found. Wigglytuff was once jigglypuff which had a high temper on using pound if she was threatened, And possibly tinkaton because of it's crazy ability to bash pwoplw with its hammer and may enjoy hurting passing by Corviknight. (this happened when it came out it's love ball)

Ryu Suzaku/Rick Wheeler-Altaria, I mean..it's a dragon type and flying type and it is a similar typing as his machine the dragon bird because altaria is a bird but with a dragon and flying typing. Altaria was a gift from his gf Haruka when she found it as a swablu 150 years ago. (yes, it's still alive since it was in it's pokeball) Altaria was a very joyful pokemon to ryu/rick very jolly to him and haruka. ryu/rick has obtained a key stone and a altarianite from the "lost" gift from haruka with the note saying 'use this at the right time with altaria' which may have shocked him though but used it which mega evolved. Dragonite would be a good choice too because it's a flying and dragon type, and I bet Dragonite would recognize Haruka with her Miss Killer persona.

Dr. Stewart-I feel like he would have a chansey and a jolteon(which evolved from eevee from a thunderstone) Chansey is like a helper pokemon since it can heal other pokemon and people with heal pulse. it's a great pokemon to heal the ones needed. for jolteon...it can help with electricity working at clinics to power things up.

Clank Hughes- Rotom, reason why I chose this to be his partner pokemon is because, Rotom can go through any electrical items around and help around the cafè and help Clank with technology. Although Rotom is a trickster so it likes to go through electronics just to mess with him. Rotom does behave sometimes. Rotom has been with Clank for a while. Boltund might be like a good guard dog that can also mess around with technology.

Miss Killer/Misaki Haruka- for starters she has 2 partner pokemon which is an umbreon and a mawile(can mega-evolve) although, she caught these pokemon it was not gifted to her and has found a mawilite that Mawile held. (When Caught) As haruka, she has had a yamper as a pet 150 years ago (it was also given to Ryu/Rick when the others found the other pokeball) Yamper was her pet for a long time and hasn't evolved yet.

Captain Falcon/Andy Summer: I Feel like he would have a Cinderace since rabbits are his favorite animal and Cinderace evolved from a scorbunny which was gifted to him from his sister, Jody, she found scorbunny injured and brought it to Her brother to help the poor scorbunny. Cinderace is very fond of Andy and very.. Very.. Attached to him. Now Cinderace helps him out in the falcon house cafe helping him with cooking. Then another pokemon came along. It was a litten which evolved into incineroar, this pokemon was brought in from someone in the cafe to let Andy know this pokemon was abandoned and started to take care of litten when it evolves, this pokemon was the important partner to bring along in times of danger. Incineroar knows darkest lariat which is commonly used in larger threats, it can easily knock out others which is a perfect command for incineroar. Cinderace and Incineroar do get along well, and Cinderace can be used as a back up and knows the move pyroball which it can be commanded. Braviary would be a great choice for his Bounty Hunter Missions.

Lisa Brilliant-I feel like she would have a Ninetales as her partner and also a sneasel, because I know she wanted to steal something and she can use Sneasel to steal items. Ninetales would be her back up to Sneasel, oh and a Sableye because it can help with heists and finding jewels.(Ninetales is from the kanto region)

Super Arrow- I feel like he would have a Rowlet... It's similar to his class of style and it was picked out from his wife. It evolved into decidueye, and it's a really loyal pokemon. A Noctowl, that would be a good pokemon, I just learned that the Owl he has is named Zukk, so he might be stubborn with Rowlet and Noctowl.

Mrs. Arrow-Her pokemon would be consisted with bug and flying types, I feel like she would have a beautifly and a Starly, I would feel like she would like anything beautiful. And when it evolves to staraptor, she might spoil it so much. Togekiss would be a good one because it's adorable, and may be in good use for strong fairy attacks.

All My PMD Teams cuz I wanna share my kids with the world.

Rescue Team:

Hero - Rosa, Bulbasaur/former Human. Female, docile nature. A passive girl who loves to garden. She imedietly began to make a garden after moving in with Chika. Rosa doesn't like to fight, mostly using effect moves while Chika does all the damage, but if she has too, she will unleash a deadly solar beam. Rosa sees the kindness in everyone, so she quickly forgives Gengar for almost getting her and Chika killed by an angry mob and Team A.C.T.

Partner - Chika, Torchic. Female, brave nature. The brawn of Team Pyrobloom, always looking for a fight. She likes to train by kicking and pecking rocks with her tallons and beak, trying to strenghen them so she can go toe-to-toe against rock types. She can be a bit, too loud for Rosa sometimes, but Rosa doesn't mind as long as Chika is happy

Explorers:

Hero - Spike, Eevee/former Human. Trans-male, jolly nature (the quiz unfortunatly identified him by his birth sex so he got assigned Eevee instead of Totodile). Former human from the far off future (unbeknownst to him), Spike is a smart boy who knows more then an Eevee with amnesia should know, guess it only affected his personal memories and not his general knowladge. He's very small and...feminine looking for an Eevee, which annoys him for reasons. He's glad to have a friend like Sally, who shares his troubles.

Partner - Sally, Squirtle. Trans-female, lonely nature. Sally's always been alone, she hatched alone, she lived alone, wanted to join Wigglytuff's guild alone. She was known as the loner of Treasure Town, always keeping to herself, hiding her insecurites with a hostile attitude. She began to open up more after finding Spike collapsed on the beach with no memory other than his name, show her soft side a bit. Spike became her first friend, and the other members of Wigglytuff's guild would soon follow (except Team Skull, they suck because they purposly misgender her and Spike).

Gates to Infinity:

Hero - Lucas, Oshawott/former human. Male, relaxed nature. Lucas tends to go with the flow with stuff. He got used to Pokemon life quickly compared to his boring life as a human. He tends to sleep in late (Mikey likes to wake him up with a lil static), and gets bored very easily if he has to wait around. He loves going into mystery dungeons, the danger of them giving him an adrenaline boost, so much so that Mikey says Lucas is like a totaly different person in dungeons then in Paradise (in a good way). The whole Bittercold problem got Lucas all excited at first, but upon learning he'd have to leave the Pokemon World afterwards, he began to question what to do, be selfish and live the best life as a Pokemon until the world ends, or do the right thing and defeat the Bittercold.

Partner - Mikey, Pikachu. Male, calm nature. The complete opposite of Lucas, and keeps the Oshawott in check while in dungeons. Mikey's more of a hands on guy, getting his paws dirty building Paradise up from scratch. Lucas says he can be a bit of a party pooper, but this Pikachu is both smart and brave, not hesitating to protect weaker Pokemon from stronger, meaner Pokemon. Mikey wears glasses (Lucas broke his first pair after falling on his face), contacts are uncomftable. He's as blind as a Zubat without them.

Super Mystery Dungeon

Hero - Alix, Cyndaquil/former human. Female, quiet nature. A former human from a time long ago. She doesn't talk much, so she fades into the background a lot. She's scared of the dark, so when she goes to sleep she puts the flame on her back, much to her roomate's annoyance. Alix has a very bad habbit of bottling up her emotions when things get too much, such as Nuzleaf's true colours being revealed, Dennis dissapearing, being around Mew.

Partner - Dennis, Mudkip. Male, rash nature. The outcast of Serene Village for having a thrist for adventure since he hatched from his egg. Alix tends to act as his impulse control, making sure he does wander into monster houses or eat one of Kecleon's Apples for sale when they have no money on them. He enjoys reading stories about explorers from lomg ago and ancient Pokemon tales, his favorite being the Mystery of Mew (wink wink).

I caught a Timid female Eevee in Legends, and now I don’t know what to do with myself.

I started with Cyndaquil again, with the intention of actually using Typhlosion.  So I’m definitely keeping that one.  I’m also likely going to keep my Jolly Lopunny and Adamant Lilligant, because let’s be honest with ourselves.  I have an Impish Scyther too, and I’m tempted to make use of Kleavor.

While I initially wanted to run Gardevoir, I think I’m going to not do that this time.  Probably.  Maybe.  What I could do is split that up into a Psychic and a Fairy type option.  Which means I might go Espeon with this Timid Eevee.  But I could go Sylveon.  Whichever I take, I’d want to use something with the other typing.

If I take Espeon, Fairy-type options exist, but I think I’d like to run Togekiss.  I like Togekiss and rarely ever get to run it.  The alternative is Clefable, who I like well enough but eh.  Togekiss feels more fun.

If I take Sylveon, I could run...Braviary?  Give that one a spin?  Or Alakazam?  I think in any of those scenarios I’d drop them for one of the lake trio once we got to post-game.  Or Cresselia again, but I’m trying to avoid just legend spamming.

So maybe I go Espeon.  I really like Sylveon’s design, but I’m way less excited about the other Psychic-type options.  Though frankly, even if I do make this decision here, there’s the chance I swap out what I’m doing anyway.  I also caught a Timid Porygon and am super tempted, to say nothing of the possibility of taking Magnezone or Empoleon from the Coastlands once we get that far.  Or maybe a Probopass!  Like sure, Rhyperior didn’t work out because its special attack was low, but Probopass has tremendous bulk in both stats, maybe it’ll work out?  Worth a try at least.

Point is, there’s a lot I’d like to give a shot here, and while this decision haunts me now, I may not even wind up using the option I pick long-term.  So we’ll see what happens.

About 10 hours into Pokemon Shield now.

Gotten through two gyms now. I really like the gym mission thing that they have going. Most gyms in Pokemon history have had some kind of puzzle, but I don’t know... I like how they’re actually spelling it out in story that yes, that’s a thing that Challengers have to do. Speaking of Gyms, the way the badges are being set into a circle is something I’m looking forward to seeing completed.

Headcanon - Johto Team

As I talked about in this post, Lucas created a whole new team during his journey through Johto (which is based on an IC run of Sacred.Gold as opposed to Heart.Gold). This is that team.

Clint / Male / Jolly / Somewhat vain / Sheer Power

Starting a new team meant a new starter (so to speak). What better than a Totodile? Lucas still isn’t sure why his ability is Sheer Power as opposed to Torrent - either he consumed an Ability Capsule or there was something in his breeding that made it that way. Either way, his power on the battlefield can’t be denied.

Scout / Female / Bold / Impetuous and silly / Keen Eye

Lucas’ first official capture in Johto. Given how Lucas’ dad has his own Furret, and how this Sentret was basically Kale (in terms of how they have the exact same nature/characteristic combo), Lucas couldn’t not keep her in the team. Much like Kale, she focuses more on wearing the opponent down.

Dirk / Male / Bashful / A little quick-tempered / Volt Absorb 

You know the Eevee that you get from Bebe in Platinum? This is not that Eevee, but rather her son. And his evolution was a bit of a shock - the moment he saw that Lucas had a Thunderstone he headbutted the item! He doesn’t seem to regret his impulsive decision for a second.

Apollo / Sassy / Somewhat of a clown / Steadfast 

Due to odd migration patterns in Johto, Lucas was able to catch a wild Ralts fairly early in his journey through Johto. That Ralts grew into a Kirlia, and was stuck on what to evolve into for the longest time before finally deciding to be a Gallade. Much like Garnet, he’s the de-fact ‘leader’ of his team (although you wouldn’t know it from how much of a goofball he is outside of battle). 

Rika / Female / Lonely / Often dozes off / Marvel Scale

The fact that the Dratini Lucas fished up in Blackthorn simply decided to stick with him of her own spoke volumes. Whether it spoke volumes of her loneliness or Lucas’ aptitude with Dragon-types was anyone’s guess, but Lucas never questioned it much. She’s proven time and time again to be an amazing battler, and they’re both happy.

Gaia / Female / Hasty / Thoroughly cunning / Sand Veil

Gaia ate Lucas’ bike, and they’ve been friends ever since. Unlike Rika, she’s the one that charges headfirst into pretty much everything. That doesn’t mean she’s reckless. That’s exactly what she wants you to think.

Cas’ life was spent on the road, traveling with his father — a former, reformed member of Team Rocket — and his mother. However, their most frequented town was Azalea Town in the Johto Region. The three of them would travel across the various regions, often returning to Azalea Town when they wanted a place to rest their heads. It was in this town where Cas’ little brother was born, and where Castor’s life took a turn for the worse. 

S T A R T E R

Cas’ starter pokémon wasn’t a “starter” in the traditional sense. He didn’t go to the region’s professor and request his first pokémon. Instead he befriended one. It was on one of his family’s many trips through Azalea Town that Cas came across a Slowpoke. Azalea Town was known or their large population of Slowpoke, so meeting one was hardly rare. Cas came to befriend the Slowpoke, and they quickly became inseparable. His mother gave him a pokéball, just so he could make the capture official. They were together for quite some time, and it wasn’t until Cas started on his own journey that he started adding other pokémon to his team. By that point his Slowpoke, who he nicknamed Neptune, had evolved into Slowking.  

J O U R N E Y

Cas’ journey began the moment he was born. John and Lyra Silver were traveling trainers, and they weren’t about to settle down simply because they had a son. All things considered, Cas took to the mobile lifestyle well. He enjoyed meeting new people, seeing different places, and exploring hidden areas. Things were carefree, jovial, and it all came to a screeching halt with the birth of his brother. Lyra Silver died during her childbirth, and the family was never the same. They stopped traveling, settling down in Azalea Town so that single father John could take care of his two children. However, it was Cas that took care of Pollux, not his father. John turned to alcoholism, and then back to his villainous, Team Rocket ways. 

Castor, not wanting to subject his innocent little brother to a life of evil and thievery, volunteered for Team Rocket in his place. He became a member, much to his chagrin, and swiftly rose in the ranks. He did all he cool to distract his father’s attention from Pollux, because John was a ruthless battler — sometimes even ordering his team to attack trainers instead. Years passed this way, and Cas hated it. He didn’t like being a member of Team Rocket, and didn’t enjoy the life of crime. Fed up with the team’s evil ways, and with his father’s anger, Cas invited Pollux with him on a journey. The two left Azalea Town and never looked back. 

Since the two brothers had no money to their name, and Cas was determined to avoid a life of crime, he started challenging Trainers to battles. Winning pokémon battles gave him money, and money helped him keep his little brother and his Slowking fed. Cas took to being a Trainer with ease. He and Neptune had become an excellent pair while they were members of Team Rocket, and that level of connection didn’t falter with their change in lifestyle. Cas swiftly started adding to his team, and gaining recognition as a trainer. Although he may hate to admit it, his time in Team Rocket gave him a strategic mind that helped in his battles. It especially helped him when he took on the Johto League. Cas and his team rose through the ranks, winning battle after battle. When it came down to the final battle, between Cas and the Johto Champion, that was when he finally lost. However, he certainly didn’t go down without one hell of a fight, and he absolutely wasn’t disappointed in his team for their loss. He thanked the Champion for the battle, and travelled to the Kanto Region for a fresh start. 

He was nineteen by this point, and had earned enough money to pay for his and Pollux’s living expenses. Pollux still had his own journey to complete, one that Cas would occasionally join in on. Cas, however, wasn’t sure if he wanted to continue battling. He would have the occasional fight, mostly in good fun, but lacked the motivation to pursue anything more. He started attending college instead. He’d always had an interest in the science of Pokémon Biology, and had always greatly admired the researchers he came across during his journey. He graduated as one of the top students and was offered a job working under Professor Burnet of the Alola Region. Part of him wanted to go, but he couldn’t. Pollux was still in the middle of his journey, and Cas couldn’t just uproot his life. Not yet. 

Now he’s twenty-three, lazing about in Saffron City. Pollux will stop in every so often, recuperating from his journey. Sometimes Cas will visit his little brother, popping in and out on a whim. 

T E A M

Cas always had a fascination with Psychic Types. Something about their high level of intelligence intrigued him. Although not all of his pokémon are Psychic Types, it is what makes up the majority of his team. 

Official Name: Slowking Nickname: Neptune Gender: Male Type: Water/Psychic Dex Number: #199 Dex Entry: It has incredible intellect and intuition. Whatever the situation, it remains calm and collected. Nature: Jolly  Ability: Own Tempo Moveset:  • Water Pulse                   • Zen Headbutt                   • Yawn                   • Psychic

Neptune was Castor’s very first pokémon. They clicked immediately when Neptune was just a Slowpoke, and have been partners ever since. The two are better described as friends than pokémon and trainer. In fact, they can often be seen conversing together. Yes, that’s correct. Conversing. Due to Slowking’s drastically high intelligence, it developed the ability to communicate telepathically. Cas was shocked to learn of this ability, but it certainly comes in handy in battle. While Cas can’t speak telepathically to Neptune, he can hear the Slowking’s voice in his head. Neptune is the most calm and level-headed out of Cas’ pokémon, and is looked to by the others as a leader. He’s often the voice of reason when there’s a spat between Mars and Galileo. 

Official Name: Marowak Nickname: Mars Gender: Male Type: Ground Dex Number: #105 Dex Entry: Marowak is the evolved form of a Cubone that has overcome its sadness at the loss of its mother and grown tough. This Pokemon’s tempered and hardened spirit is not easily broken. Nature: Hardy  Ability: Lightning Rod Moveset:  • Thrash                   • Stomping Tantrum                   • Earthquake                   • Stone Edge

Castor met Mars when he was just a Cubone. It wasn’t that long after Cas started on his own journey with Pollux. It was late one night and Cas couldn’t sleep, so he and Neptune decided to take a walk. He started to hear some sort of crying sound — something sorrowful and lonely. It resonated with him, the part of him that was always sorrowful due to the loss of his mother. Searching for the source of the crying, Cas saw a Cubone sitting on a rock and staring up at the moon. He’d heard tales that, if you saw a Cubone crying at the moon, that it was longing for its lost mother. He felt for the pokémon, and decided to reach out to help. Mars was defensive, if a bit fearful, but Cas and Neptune were able to calm him down. He looked hungry, so Cas offered him some food and the rest was history. 

Official Name: Kadabra Nickname: Galileo Gender: Male Type: Psychic Dex Number: #064 Dex Entry: Kadabra emits a peculiar alpha wave if it develops a headache. Only those people with a particularly strong psyche can hope to become a Trainer of this Pokémon. Nature: Hasty  Ability: Inner Focus Moveset:  • Teleport                   • Future Sight                   • Psybeam                   • Telekinesis

+ adventurous, clever, adaptable – easily angered, reckless, competitive

Usually Abra are timid creatures, teleporting away at the first sign of trouble. Galileo, however, was the exact opposite. Even when Cas met him as an Abra, he was abrasive and upfront. Rather than teleporting away, he teleported directly into Cas’ path and challenged him to a battle. Cas accepted, and when he won he decided to catch the fiery Abra. Galileo has since evolved into a Kadabra, and could evolve into an Alakazam if he desired. However, Cas isn’t about forcing his pokémon to evolve, so Galileo will evolve at his own pace. At the moment he seems content being a Kadabra, and challenging Mars to battle after battle. The two often butt heads, squabbling over who knows what. The two fight more than they get along, at least outside of the battlefield. On the field, however, they work like a well-oiled machine. They are Cas’ pair of choice during double battles, as they’re able to work seamlessly and efficiently. 

Official Name: Espeon Nickname: Nova Gender: Female Type: Psychic Dex Number: #196 Dex Entry: Espeon is extremely loyal to any Trainer it considers to be worthy. It is said that this Pokémon developed its precognitive powers to protect its Trainer from harm. Nature: Sassy  Ability: Synchronise Moveset:  • Morning Sun                   • Swift                   • Dazzling Gleam                   • Giga Impact

Nova was just a little Eevee when Cas caught her. She was a bit shy at first, but warmed up to the rag-tag group quickly. Cas had always liked Eevees, and it was what prompted him to go out in search for one. He didn’t know what he wanted her to evolve into, and didn’t really care either way. Much like his attitude with Galileo, he had no interest in forcing her to evolve. The town formed a powerful bond. Although she didn’t take to battling as naturally as Mars or Galileo, she was fierce in her own right when provoked. She became particularly protective of the male pokémon, and would enter into battle with the goal of vengeance when one of them was defeated. It was a bright and sunny morning when Nova evolved into an Espeon, and Cas couldn’t have been happier. She’s still just as prissy, perhaps a bit more so, but is even fiercer than before. 

Official Name: Lunatone Nickname: Dione Gender: Agender Type: Rock/Psychic Dex Number: #337 Dex Entry: Lunatone was discovered at a location where a meteorite fell. As a result, some people theorize that this Pokémon came from space. However, no one has been able to prove this theory so far. Nature: Gentle  Ability: Levitate Moveset:  • Moonblast                   • Rock Slide                   • Cosmic Power                   • Explosion

+ graceful, cooperative, leisurely – cowardly, easily discouraged, untrusting

Cas had heard rumor about pokémon that came from space — some fanciful tale that couldn’t possibly be true. However, his curiosity got the best of him, so he sought out an area where a meteorite had recently landed. Supposedly with meteorites came these extraterrestrial pokémon. That’s when Cas found Dione. They were confused, and seemed rather timid. It took three days of Cas returning to that same spot for him to even get close to Dione. He’d never seen a pokémon that was shaped like the moon, and couldn’t help but long to catch them. However, Dione seemed a bit untrusting and wary of Cas and his team, despite proving that he didn’t want to hurt them. Galileo and Mars were both keen on battling, but Cas kept them from doing so. After a week, Dione seemed to have relaxed considerably. With Neptune at his side, Cas approached the Lunatone and offered a spot on his team. After some convincing, Neptune said Dione agreed, so long as they could take to battling at their own pace. It took some time, but eventually Dione came to enjoy battling just like the rest of Cas’ team. 

Official Name: Girafirig Nickname: Pandora Gender: Female Type: Normal/Psychic Dex Number: #203 Dex Entry: Girafarig’s rear head also has a brain, but it is small. The rear head attacks in response to smells and sounds. Approaching this Pokémon from behind can cause the rear head to suddenly lash out and bite. Nature: Impish  Ability: Early Bird Moveset:  • Crunch                   • Stomp                   • Psychic                   • Protect

For the rest of Cas’ team, he’d sought them out. He’d been the one that decided to add them to his team. With Pandora it was the other way around. She decided that she would be on Cas’ team, and he had no say in the matter. It happened on Route 43 in the Johto Region. Cas was just leaving the Lake of Rage — with no luck of finding the rare Red Gyarados — when he was practically accosted by a small, dark brown ball with teeth. He was quick to discover that it was Pandora’s tail chomping on his arm. Neptune explained to him that apparently Pandora had been following them, watching them battle some of the trainers at the Lake of Rage, and decided that she was going to join his team. The rest of his pokémon seemed to converse with her — and Neptune stopped translating for him, at that point — and came to an agreement. Pandora would be the sixth pokémon on his team. It was Galileo that picked up the pokéball from Cas’ bag and offered it to her. Cas found the whole thing baffling, but entertaining. He figured why the hell not, he’d been meaning to complete his team anyway.

Pokemon Moon Namelocke Episode 3: Glass Joe Cut Me

This episode starts off with encounter time!  You know that lame scripted encounter where a Mahukita rushes you?  I actually ran into an Abra before that happened.... and oddly enough with one Ultra Ball throw I caught it :ooooo

Having done a lot of Wonder Trades in order to obtain all the Pokemon used in this Locke there is one thing I know about Abra, and that is they were all over SUMO Wondertrade in the first few weeks as everyone was breeding their sync mons.

So the only name for it was WTs BFF

I wish I would have named it something better, because Hardy isn’t a good nature for me.  Though all the nature’d boxes are pretty well stocked the Hardy Box isn’t doing so well.

Perhaps it’s a good thing cause maybe the people on Wonder Trade aren’t that bad and actually release their Hardy Pokemon.  All that is chilling in that box is Humpy the Numel and since it’s over level 10 I can’t use it so WTs BFF is now a party member.  Only problem is I am going to use that nerfed exp share since it doesn’t learn any real moves for a while.

It would have been nice to have a psychic type for soon I was to face my nemesis....

This bitch.  Her only Pokemon is the standard Ghastly you can easily catch in nearby and not posed a problem for me my first play through on Sun. You see I had the event Munchlax that I had up front when this chick challenges me and both our Pokes couldn’t touch each other (Munchlax was mean looked) and it turned into a count down waiting for Ghastly to struggle itself to death.

The Amazing and Powerful Kyuubi put an end to that silliness pretty fast with an extrasensory attack.  She earned extra pets for that one.

After that I quickly went to the graveyard for another encounter.

Speaking of Ghastly:

Yeah I stole Team Four Star’s name, but it’s a good name.  Only problem is Hardy nature again >:( where are all the other natures?  So that means Princess DIE is now on the squad so I go to grind her up she tried to learn curse, but that doesn’t seem like a good idea in a Nuzelocke... a ghastly is always decent to keep around.

Apparently Team Skull was trying to take some berries.... just let them have them.... they are probably hungry.  Have you seen where they live?  Poor confused youth.

As predicted none of the trainer battles in the area were of any issue thanks to the typings I have. 

On to the first Island Trial!

Apparently Capricorn didn’t get good news from the the horoscope as it is losing sleep over worry.  Worry Seed I’m going to keep just to take away the ability of some mons.  (Very curious what happens if I use it on the Water Totem)  

Also it is the only Pokemon on my team that can learn Brick Break.... YOU CAN’T STAND UP TO CHOP ANYTHING.  I thought about giving it to Patrick but he wasn’t interested in doing anything involving physical activity.

This made Capricorn my number 1 through this Trial.

What’s up Mr. Chubs?  Brick Break good bye.  No problem.

Now that is over right back to the cave since I’m encounter thirsty.

I’m getting a bit worried about my boxes being over infested with them.  Since I haven’t lied about making up certain rules as I go I won’t worry too much (there is still no species clause though but I don’t want to get stuck having to use the Pokes I catch over and over again cause the boxes have a lot of lv. 1s in them)

So to the Brave box I go and that’s where this here Poke came from.

No. 3 the Eevee!  An Eevee would be great to have in the beginning cause it wouldn’t take much to get up that affection and evolve it, but the Brave nature is concerning.... #3 Would be much more suited to being a Flareon or Jolteon maybe and despite wish being useful I think it’s best to leave this cutie in the box.  I’m sure there will be more Eevees later.

The Encounter thirst is still real as right after that I headed towards to the hills to get me a burd.  Female Spearow named SansaStark since the Hound often called her a Little Bird.  Let’s see what we can do with a Relaxed nature lv 12.

Looks like my exchange is Richie the Meowth.  You know what?  I kind of like that name.  A male A. Meowth kind of does look like a Richie.

WELCOME TO THE PARTY POOPERMAN The Farfetch’d.  I am def going to use him.  In my many years of playing Pokemon I’ve never actually use a Farfetch’d so I’m excited about this.  Jolly also seems like a good nature for it and I feel like I need a normal type on my team to celebrate my latest trial win.

Also he is going to take Mr. Owl’s seat for a while because Capricorn already has the grass down.

I took Pooperman to the meadow to level up.  What a killer he is.  I don’t question what he is into.

I am still into getting as many encounters as I can so once I dealt with Lilly’s latest bag related drama I snuck into the nearby cave to find the rarest Pokemon known to man.

I haven’t been to the modest box yet, and there looks like there is some interesting fiends in her, of course the best I could get with the current level is this Gentlemen BumPounder.

Put a monocle on this here classy gentlemen, but Patrick is my Water friend right now and since I never gave the monkeys a chance in previous gens I’m going to try to in this challenge, but I know who to hit up if something unfortunate happened to him.

Oh also this happened and he learned confusion, which is great against the upcoming fighting trial.  I think I have enough captures under my belt so time to move on to the almighty Fight.  Bring it on Glass Joe crab, mankey, and Makuhita I ain’t afraid of no fist.

I forgot about Pursuit again...... (not really I just had to sacrifice someone when the heal struggle with WT’s Best Friend wasn’t going well so I could get a clean switch out)  Capricorn gave me the bittersweet win though.

Uh well I don’t know how to feel right now.  Maybe this is a sign that there was just too much gen 1 love going on in my team.  

Good news is Richie is on the squad and I’m going to get to finally try out an Alonan Meowth.
