The new “conan lingerie” armor inspired me to update the look of an old elementalist I hadn’t played in a while. Gave her the conan top and used a makeover kit to modify her eye color and hairstyle. I really like the new look--I guess she’s gonna get some active play for awhile xD. Albane Memorykeeper

Aspect III : Of Forgiveness and Justice
Two weeks later, a few days before the events of 'Bound by Blood'
"Aspect, how are the Watchworks performing? Are they exhibiting any deficiencies? Errors?"
Verula stood on the raised supervisor platform looking out over the portside weapons bays. Below her, a dozen or so Watchwork creations of various models fussed over the newly installed Solar heat cannons. Little conveyors based on the 'Horror' class (minus the horrific spikes and blades) brought tools and items to larger models, like the Watchknights or Menders.
"Behavioral errors are negligible; programming is holding and while there is personal varation, each unit is obeying orders. Some are exhibiting some creativeness in getting around unplanned issues, but it has not yet stepped out of bounds." Aspect replied.
"Very good. Let me know if they encounter any problems they can't handle." The charr dam nodded smartly, and turned to leave.
"Verula, I was wondering if I could speak to you? It is non-critical to ship function, but I would like to ask you some questions."
Verula was almost at the hatch, where she paused, one hand on the frame. Normally, she hated answering questions, with certain exceptions. But...this was Aspect. She was learning, curious, and she was always polite.
"...Very well, Aspect." She turned away from the door, crossing her arms. "What do you wish to know?"
"I have asked the other crew about things like family, duty, and responsibility. I have only limited information on the subject, so I would like to expand it further. The others have been fairly open about these subjects, but I understand that Charr culture is different from human, asura, and sylvari."
Verula grunted a bit. "You could say that." "It is very rare for a Charr cub to be reunited, or even visited by their parents, is it not?"
The Charr chuckled a little bitterly. "The public line is 'yes'. It's considered a kind of taboo... or perhaps it's more of a pride thing. As a member of the Legions, you entrust your cubs to the fahrar to be taught to be Legion Charr. Your duty is to your Legion, to your Warband, to your Primus, Tribune, and Imperator. Familial obligations that other races 'enjoy' are not a thing for true Charr."
"I understand. But at the same time, I am puzzled." Aspect's golem eye tilted. "While we were docked in Lion's Arch, I observed Charr family units. Fathers, Mothers, sons and daughters. They seemed...close."
Verula shrugged, shifting uncomfortably. "There are times... like when a centurion is disgraced or loses status in the Legion. Becomes a Gladium. Sometimes they choose to leave the Legions entirely, and become..." She paused. "The word I would use is 'free', but that isn't quite accurate. Perhaps 'unhindered'? Due to their low status, they're free to walk away from their parent Legions and no one cares. Sometimes, I suppose, they find fellow outcasts and, well..."
"Do you believe the Olmakhan are similar?"
She shook her head, silver tresses shaking back and forth. "...No. The Olmakhan are something else entirely. I've read a lot of their recorded history, and it's eye-opening."
Verula sighed wistfully. "It's hard to imagine a Charr society that was entirely non-military, non-confrontational. That valued the collective group, but without sacrificing the value of the individual. And their families are just so... happy!" She chuckled. "I don't think I'd ever seen a fellow Charr smile without that smile either being full of some kind of malice, or deviousness, or sarcasm. I didn't think it was actually possible."
"Does it bother you, Verula? That they are descended from Flame Legion?"
There was a moment of silence, punctuated only by the sounds of the working Watchworks below.
"....to be honest, no. The Flame Legion soldiery are our enemies, but I think we need to remember that there's innocents among them too." Verula admitted, before frowning. "Just like there's guilty among the Legions as well."
"You speak of your mother?" Aspect asked simply.
Verula snorted, making a face like she wanted to spit. "She's my biological dam. But she's a traitor through and through. She and the others that escaped the Breaker warband."
"You are aware you have been invited to the assembly at the Blood Legion keep, correct?" Aspect pressed. "From what the communications have declared, all four Legions will be present. It seems the Flame Legion has sued for peace. Does this bother you at all?"
Verula thought about it, stroking a whisker with a claw. "No, it doesn't. Like I said, the Flame soldiery is and was our enemy. But between the Blood Legion smashing them and the Iron Legion making sure they stay smashed, and the Ash doing whatever the hell Ash does, I think we've managed to wipe out the worst of their reactionary elements." She nodded. "The leadership has been not just fragmented, but outright decapitated. Those that kept pursuing war with us are now pushing up dirt. All that's left are tired males, dams who want better, free lives, and a bunch of cubs."
She made a dismissive noise. "They're all mages, of course. It'll take time for them to earn our trust. But... the Olmahkan are distant relatives of theirs and, well... they showed us there's options. Forgiveness, for one."
"Would that forgiveness extend to your dam, or to those members of the Breaker Warband that defected to the Flame Legion?" Aspect asked carefully.

Verula stared at the golem-eye, her expression unreadable. "No. It would not. In addition to what I said about the Flame Legion soldiery, they are also full-on traitors to the Iron Legion. Not low-level gladium who walked quietly away. Traitors who betrayed other warbands, who schemed with Flame Legion tyrants, and traded lives in exchange for glory and power."
She growled, arms crossed. Her claws squealed across the armor plate, leaving deep scars. "If my dam is at this....get-together, and I learn of it, then there's only one way it will end."
Aspect didn't ask, but merely canted its eye to one side questioningly.
"One of us will die. Either I get crushed under her warhammer, or she dies to my sword and axe." Verula sneered, turning away. "That's the only way the two of us can resolve our...differences. Regardless of what that might do to Bangar's all-Legions 'party'. So I sincerely hope she is not there."
"Understood."
Sometimes forgiveness is not enough.

Drusila Spectralfang I could see that you guys likes my Charrs, so I finished a drawing of my necro this time. I simply love the latest shoulder armor we can get with living story, it can be worn by any race and class, it’s very stylish. And the Charr tier3 is the only light armor I like on charrs.

Drusila Spectralfang
Quick sketches of My newest Charr on Guild Wars 2. She used to be in Ash Legion but since she’s a necromancer, she ended up focusing on how to train her magical skill instead of helping her warband, that got it killed.
As soon as she became a gladium, she got recruited by the Vigils.

I found a HILARIOUSLY bad glitch on Medium Raven Armor pants. It’s supposed to be the raven feather robe/dress. Weeeellll apparently this piece of lingerie is under the robe. If you use the pants on a medium armored female charr, the robe does not show, just the underpants. And so you get a cat in lingerie. Like, if they don’t fix this glitch, I will straight up make the most hideous, monstrous, ugly female charr I can conceive of, put her in these pants, and name her “Cat in Lingerie”
