Joker Cosplay Progress

My joker cosplay is slowly coming together. It has been a bit of a nightmare for someone who doesnt have proper sewing skills, as being a woman who is plus size/fat/curvy and 5ft 11, there was no way any of the pre-made costumes would fit me. As such I have either had to heavily alter/combine existing pieces, or start from scratch.

Anyways, I am excited now it's really coming together - even with lots left to do before my next con in March :)

Also, I have never in my 25 years of life so far, had to tie a tie! Had to look that up on youtube. I actually really like it!

I was too scared to cosplay female TDK joker for many years but more lately I have returned to cosplay after banishing my E.D. and with a much more "fuck it, we're doing it anyway" vibe :)

So yeah, if you ever feel too scared to do a cosplay, I say just go for it. You might have to do a few work-arounds for various costume pieces, but don't let it put you off. Most of all, everyone deserves to have fun in cosplay!

I cosplayed Rise back when I was in HIGH SCHOOL. Then I did her Dancing All Night look back in…2019?

For P5, I’ve done Kasumi- aka the selfie I keep posting— (Fun fact: The color of my second Rise wig and Kasumi were my inspirations to dye my hair LMAO)

I’ve had plans to do Shadow Sae from P5, Fem!Adachi from P4, and Mitsuru from P3, but I’ve never gotten to them. Maybe sometime 😭 I’ve also been interested in doing Joker…

Intro Post

Hey everyone!

So I’ve decided to start completely fresh on tumblr with a new account (I was PurpleOctoGamer btw).

While I was making this account I may or may not have accidentally deleted all of my old blogs.. when I was only trying to delete one. Whoops! 😅

Anyway, since this is gonna be a cosplay account, I might as well start sharing some old photos now. Have you heard about 'Mouthwashing'? It's trending on tumblr now. Also, do you have any spooky Halloween plans?

I've seen a few things about it, but not enough to know what it's about or to form a proper opinion on it.

Not sure if it counts as 'spooky', but my family plans on going to a Halloween party that some friends of ours are putting together. To quote my mom, her friend -- the host -- loves Halloween. It's like her Christmas (and my mom is a HUGE Christmas person) so I'm excited to go this year.

I'm planning on wearing one of my cosplay costumes -- either my Fem!Joker (P5) or my Lumine.
