Peryton calls out, hoping to catch the pureblood as he passed the hallway. Whether it was decided to leave him undisturbed or no one noticed him in the kitchen the night before, Suyeon was pulling out the tray of baklava that had been left to cool down on a side table.

"I wanted to try making some baklava after 妹妹 and I saw some pictures online. Do you want to try some?"

It was odd for him to not be confident in the things he'd made, but...well, it was his first time working with phyllo dough so it couldn't be helped. The presentation was nice, at least - neat little diamonds topped with crushed pistachios.

Steps halt the moment the nickname rings throughout the hall, a smile already tugging at the edges of pale lips before even turning. Frame shifts, blue eyes landing on Suyeon for a moment before glancing down towards the tray held within the other’s hands. This... this kid, the Peryton, everything about him the Pureblood couldn’t help but find endearing. From his antics with Minglian and the other dragons to the soft, sweet moments like this.

Baklava, was this meant specifically for him? Whether it was so or not, it didn’t make the gesture any less heartwarming. His smile grows, eyes sweeping over the beautifully presented pastries, the scent wafting towards him and already had his mouth watering. “They smell wonderful, Ελαφάκι.”

Lithe fingers gently grasp the one in the front, gaze rising from the tray to meet Suyeon’s as a bit is taken. It’s only a moment later that Vasilios is quickly nodding, grin breaking loose even while chewing as his eyes light up. Once the first bite is finished, the grins only continues to grow. “They’re amazing,” his free hand now reaches out, gentle pets given to the Peryton to show his appreciation but also... because he simply couldn’t help it. The urge to pet him was far too difficult to resist and so long as Suyeon didn’t mind...

As he finished the last bit of the pastry, a thought struck Vasilios before blue eyes shift along the stretch of hallway, as if making sure that no one was nearby. “Does anyone else know that you’ve made these?” Did he have every intention of stealing the whole tray if Suyeon was willing? Why yes, yes he was.

     The muffled cries of a kitten come from under the warcat’s paw. Mochi flails and struggles for a few moments before his head manages to pop out and stare up at the other feline. Shape changes to that of his human form so he can smile up at her.

Pale skin glows eerily under the moons light, clawed fingers gently picking at his fangs as ghostly eyes stare out across the graveyard. A place of death, not a sound to be heard other than the crickets and occasional hoot from a nearby owl and yet, this felt as if it were the closest to home for Aias. 

The roof of the mausoleum had become his resting spot, for now. A splendid view where he could watch, though very little happened in this old place. He’d been here for the last few days and not even visitors seemed to come around. No one missing a long gone loved one? No mourners or even any curious kids coming to explore the “haunted” graveyard. He was only just beginning to think that he’d finally found a place that he wouldn’t be bothered, when the sight of a figure appeared among the graves.

Curiosity sparked, white brow raising as his eyes linger on the figure. The closer the got, the more he wondered just what they were doing. “Make a habit of coming into abandoned graveyards often, do ya?” A bit of snicker fell from cool lips. He was bored, so maybe this one could manage to provide some... entertainment. Even if for only a short time.

A sigh escaped Hijiri as he massaged his temple, “...goodness this is quite saccharine but...” 

He trailed off again. Why was he so weak to such bright eyes? Winter still held a grip but there were glimpses of something underneath. It was still early enough that those glimpses could still wither or frost. Maybe that was why catching one is good fortune? Hijiri couldn’t be sure but he said he would catch one so that’s what he’d do. But he didn’t take into account how long it might take. Thus his little jaunt. 

Peering from the purple prose, he looked out into the wood. He thought he noticed something but maybe it was some of nocturnal hunter on its rounds. He started jot on his notebook again but paused again. Glanced out again.

--What’s a fail-safe gift for your muse?

{That's a difficult one. Kilgrave can literally ask for anything he wants from anyone at any time, making most material gifts frivolous in his mind. Even the harder gifts like works of art (be they prose, portraits, or symphonies) don't really impress him because, again, he could just ask for it.

It feels silly but, honestly, I think acceptance of who he is or a genuine attempt at empathy/understanding would be the true way to 'gift' or surprise him. Alternatively you could just bring him Jessica Jones in a pretty dress and smiling for him and he'd likely do anything you wanted.}

--The last thing your muse has been annoyed about?

{In canon for this blog specifically? Not being able to use his powers on another person, regardless of why. He hates feeling 'normal' and being rejected or disobeyed tends to set him off.}

--Name one line in the sand your muse has. Tell us one way someone can go ‘too far’.

{It wasn't always this way, but rape is a bridge too far for Kilgrave ever since Jessica threw it in his face that that's all everything they'd ever done together was. He despises the idea that someone could be intimate with him only because he forced them to and he's very particular about not letting it happen again. I wouldn't say that he has a conscience about it now or that he's somehow becoming a better person. He simply can't get Jessica out of his head whenever he's close with someone. He won't abide by anything short of complete and enthusiastic consent, for himself or anyone else, and he tends to be fairly brutal towards anyone he suspects of partaking in such things.}

--What’s one of the bravest things your muse has done? Did they consider it brave?

{Brave? Kilgrave? I doubt he's ever done anything brave in his entire life. He's a coward. Everything he does is because he's a coward and a bully. He would tell you that walking in to a hostage situation and de-escalating it to save the hostages and turn the criminal in was very brave of him, thank you very much, but he'd be hard-pressed to come up with any other anecdotes in which he was actively "brave."}
