September 2013 I was in my first full month of graduate school, and I was praying for help. God told me that it would not be an easy journey, that it was not one for walking, but that we would fly together. I wrote it in this notebook and stamped the promise to remind me. Years passed, the notebook met rare use, and now I revisit it again as I prepare for the final exam of my degree. He knew I would use it to fill it with bullet points of all I learned in graduate school. He knew and He planned it so perfectly to remind me that He is still flying with me.

Inability to sleep: frustrating. 1.5 hour nap until 06:00: hardly enough. 12 hour work shift with sick patients and awesome coworkers: energizing and totally worth it.
