Small Hearts Month Update!

🎏: Do I have a Valentine? No, and I’m quite happy about that actually. Don’t have to worry about buying certain stuff other than maybe for Hel cause she nags me if I don’t 🙄 I love her but sometimes I want to bop her over the head-. Anyways…our E-Sports team is having practice later today and we might also be arranging something to do on the day of Hearts but…I don’t think I want to go-. We’ll see what they decide to do but for now I’m trying to get into the headspace for practice! I think we’re going to be streaming it too so people are welcome to join in and watch!~

🪦: Hehe I LOVE THIS MONTH! I know it’s kind of ironic but I love giving gifts so much 🥰 It always makes me happy giving my friends, family and Hecate gifts. Sometimes I know it can be too much but I can’t help it! I love seeing how flustered and shy Hecate gets or how happy Fenrir gets when I give him a sweet. Even Andr smiles a little when I get him something! It makes me feel the best! I hope everyone has someone to spend this lovely month with, even if they are a family member or friend and not a partner. It’s still nice and fun to spend it with someone you love.

🐺: So I told my bandmates like last month that I’ve never had a Valentines and they looked at me like I had two heads! I thought it would end there but today they gave me a bunch of stuff…stuffed animals, cards, flowers…OH OH AND CANDY! Lots and lots of candy 🥰 Also cake and cupcakes! I was so surprised but they said they’ll all be my Valentines. “But…why?” Seemingly realizing how that sounds, N shakes their head fervently. “Not that I don’t like it, I’m just—just surprised—ah, I don’t—“ N’s pale cheeks brighten into a flush so deep it reminds you vaguely of a tomato. “I don’t know what to say.”

You push the gift toward them and they take it cautiously, their lip twitching as if they’re hesitant to smile.

“Thanks.” N ducks their head, letting their hair fall in front of their face. It’s in that moment that N feels confident enough to smile. You suppose they thought you couldn’t see…

Dani looks down at the gift, staring at it. “What’s this?” It comes off almost suspiciously, but with a hint of nervousness that’s never been there before.

“For you,” you repeat, pushing the gift to their chest.

Dani swallows, grabbing the gift with delicate fingers. They let out a small exhale through parted lips. “For me? Why?”

You huff. Geez, can they just take the gift?

Fortunately, a second later they do.

“Thank you.” Dani shoots you a rare, reluctant smile. It brightens their whole face. “I’m grateful for it. I will get you something in return—“

“You don’t—“

“I want to,” Dani says, more firmly this time. They hold your gaze in a way that makes you warm.

K’s brows shoot up in surprise, and they grab the gift. “I didn’t get you anything.”

“You didn’t have to.”

“It’s not my birthday yet—“

“I know.”

“We’re not celebrating anything—“

“I know,” you echo. “I just wanted to.”

“You just wanted to…” K’s voice trails off. You catch them exhale slowly, before looking back at you with a smirk. “Is this your way of getting on my good side? Because…well, it’s working.” Their voice lowers into a mumble at the last word and they look up at you behind their lashes almost nervously.

Catching K off guard? It feels like a victory.

Finn/Fera

“For me!?” F takes the gift, their mouth shaped into a firm O of surprise. “Thank you!” F hurries to open it, and they laugh a little. “You should’ve told me, I would’ve gotten you something!”

F looks up at you, their toothy grin almost blinding. “I’m really happy.“ F looks back down at the gift, a secret smile on their face. “You make me happy, MC.”

E quirks a brow at the gift. “This is mine?”

You nod.

E laughs a little; a small, almost imperceptible huff of a breath. “What did I do to deserve this?”

E holds your gaze for a moment, their eyes darting around every inch of your face. You sense they’re searching for something, and it makes you fidget. “Careful, or I’d think you find me special, MC.” The teasing in their voice shifts into something else entirely: into something softer, heavier with meaning.

3. In Harry potter ones I think the love potion made them cheat, i get it but it makes me feel a bit weird. In general fanfics (usually long haul ones) i know there needs to be some drama after the characters get together but the introducing a brand new character just for jealousy? Like i’d prefer fluffy domestic stuff like them arguing about dishes or work or something but thats just me being a softie for the real stuff 😅

43. So i have the base plan (all bullet pointed), then it depends on my mood whether i write detailed from the start (this happens when i’m most inspried) or i write rough, mostly dialogue. Anyway it’s probably one draft and then i go through it adding in little deatials sometimes even an extra scene before going away to sleep or eat before giving it one last read through and then post. So probs 1-2 for requests and maybe 3-4 with my own series and oneshots

I feel like everyone craves it but i favourite thing is seeing the same people popping up on my activity, or when i see someone like a fic then proceed to go down one of my masterlists just gives me so much serotonin.
